Yelp
Loved the old panya store in St Mark's area but it closed down during pandemic. So I was so happy they reopened one in industry city, next to Japan Village! They still sell most of their typical things but in a limited amount. I missed their Japanese strawberry shortcake so I had to come here!
We got these to share: 1) strawberry shortcake, 2) keema curry pan, 3) cheese mochi balls, 4) sesame shortbread cookies.
The strawberry shortcake was good but it didn't taste as good as it use to. Not too sweet & was creamy. Spongecake itself was soft.
Keema curry pan - this was ok.
Cheese mochi balls - it was also ok. Chewy, mochi texture, very light cheese flavor.
Sesame shortbread cookies - I liked this the most as it tasted nice and the cookie was soft and crunchy.
Friendly staff and limited seating inside & more seating outside. They sell other japanese pastries, sandos, desserts & beverages. Will come back to try their other things!
