Panza's Tapping Italy

We’re from out of town and chose Panza’s at random, and could not be happier that we got so lucky! The restaurant is cozy, clean, and super cute. The food is awesome, the staff is AMAZING! We felt like family friends. We ended up going back later for drinks, and were just as blown away. The cocktails especially are so good. 10/10…you need to try this place.

I had the mozzarella and tomatoes and it was really tasty. I am not sure what the dipping sauce was, but it was good. My kids had the mufeletta and they really liked them. I also had a peach belini, and it was really good. They gave us cannoli's because it was out first time. We also had a cookie that looked like a peach. I thought it was a real peach. Everyone working there was really nice.

Fenomenal place. Have gone to Italy multiple times and can confidently say this place makes it feel like I’m on the other side of the world in a corner of heaven eating authentic Italian cuisine. Intimate cozy ambiance friendly staff that feels like you’re going to a family gathering everyone is so attentive and and interactive. Great selection of drinks and you can even order half and half for the pizzas.

Love this place. It was our first time here and the great reviews drew us to it. These reviews are well-earned. Delicious food and wine.

Great pizzettas, salads, sandwiches, italian cookies, cakes, gelato. Very fresh and deliciouso! They also have draft beer, bottles or glasses of wine.

We had the most wonderful time stopping into the cutest shop ever!! Many wonderful and fresh items are on display so you know exactly what you’re ordering. There are olive oil tasting vats and a wine bar in the back that make for such a relaxing environment. We enjoyed a flatbread and a cannoli!!! You have got to try one out, for they are homemade and delicious! Everyone there met us with smiles and great information about the area. We will be back!

SO good and consistent. They keep things simple but delightful, as any good thing should be. Definitely try their ice cream or chocolate torte! Belissimo! Service is great too and you feel like you’re in a hallmark movie!

Delicious food, amazing environment, extremely friendly staff. This is one of my family’s favorite places to eat. Only complaint I have is that they aren’t open 24/7 🤣. But seriously, we go here all the time. Food is reasonably priced and never disappoints. Anyone that left a one star review is crazy. Also, WHO CARES THAT THERE’S PAPER PLATES?!?! Are you eating the food or the plates? 🙄 Get over yourselves.

Top notch authentic Italian food made with quality ingredients. The infused olive oils are a unique treat. The restaurant is well decorated and has that Italian cafe ambiance. Service was on-point. Can't go wrong with this one!

It doesn't live up to the hype. Barely average. You look in a case and choose your food. Burnt flatbread is not good eats. Only enjoyed the wine and that doesn't make a meal

Lovely place. The staff are friendly and a lot of people here know each other. Been coming to Panza's for years. All the food items are delicious, but my favorite is the chicken pizzeta.

This place is family owned and they are very sweet people. The food is wonderful! I would definitely recommend for a lunch date or just cause you like Italian. My only wish is that there was slightly more variety and that you could get a half salad with a sandwich instead of having to do the whole salad. However, their menu is incredible. What they have, they do well.

This is my favorite spot in Waxahachie to eat! Everything we have ever eaten here has been fantastic and the atmosphere is so homey and welcoming! They have a great wine selection and desserts to die for!

We really enjoyed this place, the bright airy style is inviting and fun! You order at the counter, where they have examples of the dishes available, as well as their delectable desserts. The owner is so great, he walks around checking on tables, explaining the menu as well as the olive oil and balsamic bar! You can go do a tasting while waiting for your food. The variety of flavors in the infusions they've created is amazing! The dishes are all cooked with their house-made infused olive oils. We ordered a flatbread, a caesar salad, the lemon chicken pasta, an Italian sandwich with a side of soup, wine, and beer for three is us to share. All the dishes were light and fresh, really good Italian-style food. The lemon chicken pasta could have had more chicken, but it was delicious and beautifully presented, the soup (minestrone) was perfect, the sandwich was toasted and loaded with an assortment of Italian meats. As first-time customers, we were given a free cannoli each, crunchy, creamy, with a lovely vanilla flavor...what a nice surprise! After tasting the cannolis we went back to order more desserts to-go, we took the chocolate truffle ball and a slice of their home-made chocolate ice cream home...wowee...that chocolate truffle ball was outstanding...sooo good! The home-made ice cream was amazing too, very rich and creamy. This place is perfect for a casual family dinner, a lunch during the week, or as a quick stop to pick up some amazing desserts. It can be a little pricey, but worth it once in awhile. I'm so happy to have this gem in Old-town Waxahachie.

Incredible experience at Panza's. The drinks were top tier and were completely unique with their alcohol base being soju. The food blew my mind. It was such a comfortable place with comfort food. Cannolis we're to die for. Brodie was such a kind guy with service just as good. 10/10 would come back.

Wow! All the flavors! This place looked good on paper and now for sure in person. Some interesting blends of flavors. Can also buy some flavored balsámics and oils! Would highly recommend

After a rough year or so and some adjustments to not having enough staffing Panza's has reopened to just a few days a week and it is during prime dinner time. And, Surprise, they didn't disappoint. They have new delicious pasta dishes used with their oils that they sell here. You have to try it...you don't know what you are missing! They also still have several selections of ice cream, my favorite being the tiramisu ice cream. There is a new small outside section to sit and enjoy dinner or drinks!

We've eaten at Panza's several times and have always had great food and wonderful service. The pizza's are so good, thin and crispy! The Muffaleta sandwich is delicious! The best Almond cookies I have ever tasted. You will not be disappointed!

Amazing food amazing service Iv been looking for some good pizza near by and i finally found a spot. If you like to read or work on your laptop I would definitely recommend this place!!!!!

Owners are great. Food is always exceptional. My favorite is the flat pizza's. My husband loves everything they have. The atmosphere.atmosphere is on point. We try to go every week.

A fantastic find in Waxahachie! The food was great! Service was friendly and helpful. Dessert was AMAZING! Enjoyed the outdoor seating as it was in the shade in the evening and there was a nice breeze. We will definitely be back!

Tucked away right off the main Wax square, Panzas sits waiting for you to discover it. You're greeted by a clean front of the restaurant, with outdoor seating if you choose to brave the heat. The interior is well laid out, and very clean. Large glass display cases showcase each item that they offer. We opted for the super thin and crispy pizzas, one meat, and one Margherita. Both were excellent! They also have large cases full of authentic home-made desserts. The cannolis were excellent and were free (2) of them for it being our first visit there. Staff was super friendly and personable. Owner greeted us, refilled our waters, and we were checked up on multiple times. Definitely a hidden gem with true authentic Italian food. They recently debuted new pasta dishes as well that we can't wait to try!

The food is fantastic and the restaurant is really cute. The desserts are on another level. Everyone who works there is nice and helpful.

Loved this place! It was a small glimpse of Italy in Hachie with great small plates and choices of wine and beer. I loved the little olive oil tasting section too. The cannolis were amazing as well.

The experience starts with the fantastic people that work here. You walk in and they are eager to help you and explain how the food is prepared. The food is light and flavorful and then you can top it off with there terrific Italian pastries or gelato. This is for sure one of my favorite restaurants to dine at. A real hometown friendly place.

I have to stop here every time i am in town. The margherita pizza is so good as well as the bruschetta.

This is cute place tucked in downtown Waxahachie, the service is by far the best in the area for a Specialty location. There deserts are suberb, with a nice romantic atmosphere

Wow! Just Wow! Came here for lunch. Wonderful atmosphere. Flatbreads were crisp and tasty. Bruschetta was crisp on outside but soft inside, like a good toast. Not too hard. Excellent desserts. And not overpriced.

It's always a lil hard to tell what's inside but glad we finally stopped in. Friendly staff and the food was wonderful! Loved the salad too...

I have been to Panza's several times and every experience has been great! Their food quality is on point. All the flatbreads, salads & soups are full of delicious & balanced flavors while also made with quality ingredients. It is a healthy and scrumptious choice for lunch/early dinner. The desserts are handmade and too good to be true. I cannot recommend this mom & pop restaurant/market enough. They obviously care about their business, patrons, and reputation because it shows in everything they put their hands on including the interiors (which I appreciate). They know exactly what they're doing and I wouldn't change a thing.

My favorite place to eat by far. I wasn't sure if my picky 10 year old son would agree. Came in tonight so WE could eat dinner but HE ate it ALL. A meat pizzetta, muffalettta, caesar salad, blood orange sanpellegrino, and a chocolate truffle . He now has a favorite place too. This place is amazing. Family owned, fresh, fast, and fairly priced . Doesn't get much better than this!

Last night was our first time eating here and we loved it! My husband and I shared a pepperoni and sausage flat bread with balsamic drizzle and a Caesar salad. It was the perfect amount with out being overly full. We do not order dessert very often, but the friends we were with talked us into it. It was amazing!!!!! We had the pistachio/strawberry ice cream and a cannoli. I am not a fan of cannoli's, but it was out of this world. I can not wait to go back. Mr. Panza was exceptionally nice and all the staff were friendly and made us feel at home.

This is my favorite place in all of Waxahachie. The menu is limited but is so good it will blow your mind. Excellent wine choices and homemade desserts. They even make their own olive oil and balsamic. I would eat here everyday if I could.

Truly a hidden gem. I love living in Waxahachie, but the "food scene" is nonexistent. Panza's is absolutely amazing! 95% of everything is handmade and DELICIOUS!

Panza's is an adorable cafe-style shop that makes food to order as well as sells goods off the shelves. They have a variety of olive oils and flavored balsamics to sample and buy, wines, pastas, and more. Their food made to order doesn't disappoint! The pizzettas are light, crisp, and fresh for an incredibly reasonable price. Make sure you add some biscotti or a cannoli to sweeten the experience. Panza's is family run and operated; you feel at home once you walk through the door.

A small intimate place. You order at the counter and they bring to you. The pizza is light and non greasy. They are actually called pizzaette's. Very unique looking and tasty. I loved that I ate the whole thing and didn't feel like I had. Delicious pizza and great bottled wine prices!

This place is one of our favorites! Always great food and service! I haven't tried everything, but everything we have tried has been amazing!

Fantastic little restaurant. Excellent, friendly service, great prices, delicious food. This place feels like you are truly in italy. Everything I ate was delicious- the meat lovers pizzeta, the antipasto salad and the Mt Vesuvius cookie. Excellent house Pinot as well. This is a definite stand out in waxahachie and I'll be returning!

Excellent food AND service. What a delightful experience. Tried the anti-pasti, a pizzetta, and a Mt. Vesuvius cookie. Seating is limited but very accommodating for 2-6 people in a party. Clean and bright atmosphere. I will definitely be back!

The place where they remember your name. Limited menu but if you are looking for an experience without traveling to Italy (the country not the Texas town) for flat bread pizza, gelato and small fares this is the place.

This was ban absolute gem to find after Scarborough Faire. The wine selection is great, the pizzettas were delightful and the desserts are home made. Downtown Waxahachie is something I have driven by for 30 years and I am so happy we tried something new and at such a great restaurant. The service was great and the staff was very friendly.

Where to start...the atmosphere is perfect. Family owned. Delicious food. Amazing desserts. Reasonably priced. Now that we have found it we will definitely be back. The pizzetas have such a full flavor profile - especially the veggie pizza. If I could give it 6 starts I would!

I absolutely love this place!!! Every thing is delish, atmosphere is great and the owner is usually there. I'm typically very lactose and gluten sensitive but their food doesn't bother me. Must use the finest of ingredients. New wine and espresso bar too!!

I love this little place. They have delicious food. My favorite part is the cannolis they are the best I have ever had. Another favorite part is all the infused oils and wines you can buy. They have little sampling stations for all of there oils. They make you feel like you are part of the family. They call us by name. I can't encourage you enough to give this little shop a try.

I'm so glad that Panzas is still going strong in spite of the covid crisis! I don't get to Waxahachie often enough, but when I do, this is a must go to lunch stop!
