Paolo Griffa al Caffè Nazionale

We recently dined at Paolo Griffa ristorante and were absolutely delighted. The menu, based on local ingredients and featuring exquisite combinations with mountain flowers, was both innovative and delicious. Each dish was a masterpiece, beautifully presented and full of unique flavors. The service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. We also appreciated the impressive wine selection, which perfectly complemented the meal. Paolo Griffa is a must-visit for an unforgettable dining experience that celebrates local cuisine with a floral twist.

An unexpected gem in the centre of Aosta. We were on a drive in the area and decided to have a pit stop in Aosta and came across this cafe with wonderful pastries. It seems to be connected to a Michelin star restaurant and the quality of the pastries definitely reflected that. The outdoor but warm seating area was a wonderful place to sit down and enjoy a tea with some cakes, we were so impressed that we decided to take some pastries home for the next morning.

Only had breakfast here but- pastry options were excellent—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly crafted. The same goes for the desserts, which were a real treat. Every detail was just right; The coffee is also very good, served with care in a way that added to the experience. You can enjoy your breakfast under the archway of a stunning building and I personally found that beautiful. I shouldn’t forget to mention how everyone working here on the team was polite, smiling, and radiating positive energy, making the atmosphere incredibly welcoming. I was particularly impressed by how professional and efficient the younger staff members were—remarkable for their age.

Most delicious tasting menu with chef who clearly takes pride and care in every dish he prepares. It was an honor to enjoy Chef Paolo's amazing food.

All I can say is perfection! I try to visit a Michelin star restaurant about once a year for a special occasion, and this place exceeds them all by far. Everything was perfect. The ambiance, the service, the phenomenal food, it was just exquisite. I recommend this restaurant more than anything.

The desserts looked amazing and had so much flavor! It was very much worth the money. It was a very cool experience being here and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The bathrooms were very clean, too. The chef happened to be out and cordially greeted us, recommending us one of his favorite desserts and it was absolutely splendid! I definitely recommend this place, especially if you are touring!

Omg the best croissants of our lives! (and we had many😅) Wow, dough and fillings all just perfection! Very nice service too even on a very busy day - great cafe in the heart of the town in a beautiful old building.

The Caffé Nazionale is one of the top level bars in town. The coffee and orange juice are very good. Its decoration looks nice, although maybe somewhat cold. The staff is very professional and always smiling, although they have a detached attitude. The place obtained several awards, in terms of best bar at food/service quality but, maybe for this very reason, it is an expensive one.
