Papa Gino's

I receive excellent and prompt service everytime at this location, the food is always amazing and hot when you receive the order—i’ve never experienced a worker ignoring me or treating me anything other than excellent. The pizza is great it’s great pizza !! I fully recommend the mac and cheese pizza it’s a delight and today 12/12/25 a wonderful associate helped me, her name was Sara , I want to fully take a moment to recognize and to appreciate her commitment to customer service she made me and my best friend have an amazing night with an amazing salad and cheesy breadsticks!

On July 19, 2025, I had food delivered and my pizza was hard as a rock and my burger and fries was undercooked. I had put my fries in my air fyer prior to knowing the burger was uncooked. I called and spoke with 3 different people, the first who answered the phone, the second who picked up and was supposed to be manager, and then manager Chrissy (name I was given). I was told they would refund or replace my undercooked but not refund the pizza as that is what I ordered. I explained multiple over the phone to 2 different ppl claiming to be managers that this was the 2nd time ever that I’ve ordered from Papa Gino’s. I had ordered a buffalo chicken pizza from the one on New State highway and it wasn’t like this. The manager Chrissy then stated they made it wrong then. After looking at the menu at the store on the TV’s I realized that there are 2 different pizzas that are buffalo chicken. Even after the rudeness of Chrissy and another employee that kept laughing and thinking that it’s funny after I paid 44$ for pizza and a burger that it was messed up that it was ok to laugh at the situation. I then asked if I can get a regular buffalo chicken pizza as she was refusing to refund us a pizza we hadn’t eaten and she had TOUCHED with her hands she told me no. She then walked over to the young blk lady making pizza whispered something and they started laughing and I informed them this whole thing was being recorded and she walked away and said she was only giving me a refund for my raw burger and fries. I NEVER raised my voice and was respectful the whole time and I have it all recorded as your manager Chrissy, I’m not even sure if that was her name’ and one of your employees laughed about the situation. That employee had laughed as soon as I walked into the store and asked for the manager to when I just about left. It took her 30 minutes to want and argue about the pizza and finally giving me a refund for my whole order. I did ask for my pizza well done but I NEVER knew there was 2 different buffalo chicken pizzas on the menu as this was the 2nd time EVER in my life ordering from Papa Gino’s. I ended up going to the one on New State Highway where I seen the regular buffalo chicken pizza on the TV menus in the store but NOT the rustic which is the one that I ordered thinking it was the regular buffalo chicken pizza.

My son and myself came to grab a couple slices of pizza here tonight as a little treat. There was only a cheese and a pepperoni slice left, the woman working the cash register (who we later found outs name is Taylor), told us she could add pepperonis to it and warm it up so my little guy and I wouldn’t need to wait for a new pizza to be made. Then when it was ready she brought it right up to where we were sitting offered to get us Parmesan cheese or red pepper if we needed it and told us her name and to just shout for her if there was anything at all we needed. She was so kind and made my little guy smile. We had a great dinner the pizza was very good and service was even better. Thank you Taylor for your kindness!

Tried this Papa Gino’s location for the first time tonight and was really impressed. The Hawaiian pizza was made just right, and the new chocolate bites were a great surprise, definitely worth trying. Taylor at the front was friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be back!

On Friday September 26 my family and I ordered from the Winthrop Street location for a family party to celebrate a birthday. The pizza order was made at 5:50 and the pizzas should have been ready at 6:30. A family member went to pick up the pizzas, and had to wait until 7:15 for our pizzas to be ready. They said they forgot the cheese pizza and that took an extra 45 minutes to make… During the 45 minutes of wait time, my other specialty pizzas sat getting cold. When a worker asked the manager about our order, my family member waiting heard her reply with “whatever”. Our $100 pizza order for a family celebration ended in disappointment. When I called and spoke with the manager that night sharing what my family member overheard she never apologized. Every time she responded she said “okay”. The customer service at this location was definitely lacking.

We visited last night during what may have been the busiest we have ever seen this papa Gino’s. We did have a significant wait for our food but with the amount of people there we understood. There didn’t seem to be enough people working especially considering it was a rainy Friday night. The woman working the register remained calm and professional while managing a massive amount of people, not all of them understanding either. The rest of the workers were giving it their all to make sure orders came out correctly and hot. The team worked like a well oiled machine together and when we did finally get our food it was some of the best we have had. Thank you all for your hard work despite being clearly understaffed.

I've been going to the Papa Gino's on 44 since I was a little kid. I used to sit in the booth upstairs. When I first went in, nothing had changed since I was little. My girlfriend and I both ordered chicken tenders and fries. I will say that they are really good, but I wish they came with more tenders. Overall, it was good, but the place needs a huge update; it feels like it's still stuck in the 2000s.

A plain cheese pizza is disguised as rustic?!This is the second time this has happened here and now the last time for me. I could have bought a cheese pizza and saved some money.

Not the Papa Gino's I remember as a kid. This pizza lacked flavor and sauce. $12 plus tax for a small cheese Online ordering is great and easy. Pizza is on par with frozen 2.5 stars

This Papa Gino's is really bad, uncooked burgers, barely a drizzle of sauce on the chicken, CONSTANTLY messing up orders. The manager really needs to get a handle on the grill area. I would stay away from this location.

Ordered a couple of rustic pizzas. Said they were crispy. They weren't crispy one bit. Very wet and soggy. If slice didn't have crust it jest fell apart. Very poorly made. Not a fan

Tasty pizza . Excellent crust. Excellent chicken fingers and kept warm until I picked it up.

Come to this Papa Gino's at least three times a week trying to eat healthy garden salad and they turn into a Greek salad with Greek dressing breadsticks on the side, always comes up quickly and correctly I've never had to return or complain about anything about this restaurant the staff is friendly and clean great place to eat

Had their lobster roll and have had it in the past. This time it was way to much maynaisse. Never again

Usually love their pizza's. Ordered a cheese pizza with peppers. Was a pick up. When My husband got home. Peppers burnt to a crisp. The pizza was uncut also. I can't believe they did not notice and would give a customer the pizza they gave us.

It's a good place! Pizza is great and all workers are nice! My nephew wanted to play the claw machine. I gave him 10 bucks and he played it. And he didn't win. He went up to cashier and asked for a dollar to play (he had 4 quarters) the cashier told him to "screw off kid." ya we not going back.

Been ordering from this Papa Gino's for six years. Always great service and they make my well done pizza, perfectly! Subs and sides are great, too.

The only reason they get 3 stars is because their food is usually good. I mean its pizza. It's not that hard. Ok with that said let's go in... Out of the two locations in Taunton they are THE WORST! The service is horrible! I once ordered a bunch of food for a party so one of the items was their party appetizer box. It came ICE COLD so obviously I called to ask them to send another (nicely of course) and I'd give them the other one back as there was only one fried ravioli eaten. They were SUPER RUDE over the phone but said they'd send another. Ok cool, right? Nope! I lived at the time in an appartment on the 2nd floor. You need a key to get into the main door downstairs so I'm waiting for the door to ring. Never did. Instead the delivery driver somehow got into the house by themselves came up the stairs, BANGED ON THE DOOR to my appartment like a cop and by the time I got to the door (which wasn't long at all, a few seconds) they were gone, leaving the "new" party platter ON THE FLOOR outside my place! Are you freaking kidding me?! On top of that I've had to stop ordering from this particular location because the have zero manners over the phone, consistently mess up my order and forget items which when I call back to get, they are super rude. So done with this place. Smh

Papa Gino's isn't exactly the best pizza money can buy, though it will get the job done. I personally find myself more prone to heartburn with a Papa Gino's pizza than any other pizza I have tried. As far as Papa Gino's restaurants go, this location is decent. It is usually pretty clean, the service meets expectations, and if you like Papa Gino's, you probably won't be disappointed. Of course, the chain as a whole lost a lot of allure when they updated the decor from it's old school 70's Italian restaurant motif complete with table top jukeboxes. It just hasn't been the same since. ;) I don't know if they still serve beer and wine, but Papa Gino's used to.

The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because usually our order is ready when I get there. However, there have been times when our pizza wasn't cut, like at all. I ordered a burger a few weeks ago and there were no pickles even though it was on my slip, and tonight I got a steak and cheese with peppers and onions and they were NOT COOKED!!! Seriously???

My co workers and I ordered a lg pizza and fried ravioli. We had to have it delivered because we were unable to leave work. The gentleman who took our order over the phone was very professional and efficient. Our order was delivered so promptly, and the gentleman who delivered our food, Joe, was the same gentleman who took my order. How nice it was to have someone so nice and courteous deliver our food, in the middle of a stressful work day. The food was hot, tasty, and had great portions sizes. We will definitely be ordering from here in the near future, and will be requesting Joe!

Solid 3 stars because it's Papa Gino's and their pizza is pretty good, traditionally. The service in store is nothing to rave about. Delivery times are pretty average. I wanted to try something different and got a plain cheeseburger. It was so overdone, dry and burnt. We also got a linguica and onion pizza which was delicious! Papa Gino's is a New England staple, but with their higher-than-average prices, and pizza joints on every corner, it's not somewhere we frequent.

My review is about the on-line ordering not the pizza. BIG MISS, Papa Gino's! I ordered on line to avoid waiting. I arrived one minute before my appointed time. My pizza arrived 17 minutes later. I should have just walked in off the street. No convenience here. If you're not going to honor the times you send out, then, don't do it. You just make people angry.

Went in to order to go had to wait an hour for one pizza and two orders of wings and both orders of wings were cold

I ordered the lunch combo with two slices and a drink. It wasn't the best or worst pizza I've ever eaten but solidly in the middle! Not sure I will be back though.

Love this place for lunch. Cannot beat the papa platter or the chicken bacon cheddar salad. A big plus is the rewards card. After a few visits I usually have enough points on it to get a free meal. Always clean and people who work there are friendly.

From the few times I've had this pizza, it's been decent pizza. Obviously isn't great quality or anything like that, but it's fine if you need something quick to eat before an event or work.

We've speny quite a bit with this store and order often. We got charged twice on our debit card. When we found out my wife called to have it credited, and they said "we're in the middle of dinner and too busy right now. Please call back." ~Sure. No problem. I'll get my $26 worth and then some. And there's a million other places to get pizza in the Taunton/Raynham area.

My husband and I used to love to get your works pizza and did this quite often.. Tonight we went for the all you can eat pasta and pizza... Very disappointed, the pizza wasn't fresh (soggy and cold). We requested fresh slices the second time, the girl working took cheese pizza from the warmer and put pepperoni on top and reheated it!!! When I questioned her she said" I'll ask for a fresh pizza" we waited over half hour for our slices.. When we finally received our slices the pepperoni was raw on top( like they just put on top last minute.) and served.. I wouldn't recommend it!! Poor management for sure. Reheated pizza!! We were shocked!!

Its been a while since ive been to a Papa Ginos and im glad to say the food is as good as I remember it. Ordered a large pepperoni and it was cooked exactly how I prefer. Next time I will try the Mac and Cheese Pizza. YUM!

Total waste of time and space. Inept staff and painfully slow service. I ordered one pizza online 2 hours before I needed to pick it up. I get there at the time indicated to pick it up and they tell me it will be a few minutes. After seeing other people come in and place orders and walk out with pizza before me I inquired as to how much longer it would be and all I got was a blank stare with no answer. Ten minutes later the employee pulls a pizza out of the warmer that has been sitting there the whole time and calls my name. I was so furious that my pizza was sitting there the entire time. It wasn't even warm by the time they gave it to me. I will NEVER step foot in this place ever again.
