Date of Visit: 5/25/2025 Time: Approximately 10:00 PM – 10:37 PM Manager on Duty: Michael Hobbs I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this location. I arrived for a pickup order and waited over 30 minutes, which is unacceptable. When I first walked in, no one acknowledged me. After standing there for 7 minutes with no other customers in the store, I had to ask about my order, only to find out my pickup sticker hadn’t even been printed yet. No one apologized for the delay. When the food finally came out, it was completely unsatisfactory (see attached photo). I asked for a remake due to the poor condition of the order. At that point, the manager, who identified himself as Michael Hobbs, came over and took the box from me without a word and threw it in the garbage. Again, no apology, no effort to resolve the situation respectfully. When I asked for a remake, he instead offered a refund only, as though that would make up for the terrible service and wasted time. Words were exchanged—not aggressively, but out of sheer frustration over how badly this was handled. I have never experienced such poor customer service from someone claiming to be a direct manager. His behavior was unprofessional, dismissive, and lacking in any basic customer service training. I do not recommend this location. The way my concerns were handled was unacceptable, and I hope this feedback leads to proper staff training, especially at the management level.

Man I’m really pissed off because I feel like I pay my money for just simple common service. So I order my pizza go to pick it up and my box is wide open I ask for my order and the girl with the big lashes brings me the open box. I ask is that my order with the box wide open she get an attitude and say sometimes the box don’t close and tells me you can look at it. So I wouldn’t lose my cool I took the pizza when I go to look at it all the toppings I asked for isn’t even on it. I usually don’t leave reviews but this situation got me fire hot and I just got to accept it to avoid conflict and I hate that for myself. Do better yall as human beings because it’s getting ridiculous the way store treats customers and even operate !

Absolutely unacceptable service — avoid this location at all costs. I placed an order at 6:00 PM, with an estimated delivery time of 6:45–7:00 PM. It is now 8:30 PM and the order STILL has not arrived. Nearly 2.5 hours for a simple delivery is ridiculous. What makes it worse is the complete lack of communication or updates from the store. No explanation, no status changes, nothing. This experience has been a total waste of time and has genuinely ruined my appetite. I strongly advise that you do not route any deliveries from this Papa John’s location. Choose a different store or order from another restaurant entirely. This location clearly has no regard for customers’ time or basic service quality

Order took an hour, then they gave the incorrect address to DoorDash. Called in to explain the situation and the dude argued with me, telling me I put the address in wrong when I was literally reading exactly the address that was on my order... I had to repeat myself about 3 times before they finally agreed to deliver the pizza again (to the correct address).

Started eating pizza and realized the dough was still raw. Returned to the store and got a refund. Won’t be returning.

🤢ROACH IN PIZZA🤢 So I ordered a pizza and had it delivered plus other things not only were some items missing but my pizza had a ROACH cooked in the cheese 🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 when I called the store the female put me on hold and hung up the phone after I told her my issue was that I had a bug in my food that was just delivered to my home so I had to call back and she placed me BACK on hold and after 5 or so minutes hung up again! I proceeded to keep calling until I was able to speak to the “store manager” which was a feminine speaking male (never got a name) and he then lied to me and didn’t help resolve my issues but not only that he told me that I was would have to PROVE that it came from their store! 🤔🤯😤 so yea if you wanna get sick or eat some roaches then go ahead and order from them 🤦🏾‍♀️

This is not the first time papa John’s has done this but I swear they give my order away every time. We ordered 45 minutes ago and they gave our pizza away to somebody else for the 2nd time! I’m starting to think it’s all the papa John’s at this point! Now we have to wait for them to remake our pizza again with no compensation at all…. The cashier walked up eating so I don’t know if he eating the pizza or not he couldn’t even talk his mouth was so full! Lord help them

Ordered two medium pizzas at 6:00 PM with a delivery window of 6:45-7:00 PM. By 9:39 PM, NOTHING. No delivery, no updates, no explanation. I finally had to call and cancel because the store was literally unable to fulfill a basic order. The Papa John's app keeps routing orders through DoorDash and it's a complete mess. Four drivers canceled because the store took too long to prepare the food. How does a major chain fail to make two pizzas in over three hours? The app shows "in progress," DoorDash blames the store, the store says nothing, and there is zero accountability from anyone. This store and this app are a waste of time. Avoid using this app for delivery, period

​ we just ordered Papa John's when I mean just ordered I mean just ordered I put well done my order wasn't even made but well done does not mean burnt . No one wants a burnt pizza I just want my crust to be strong and not half cooked in the mushrooms to be fully cooked that's all I wanted. ​ this was the old Alabama location in Johns Creek I was very disappointed today December 29th at 11:15 p.m.

Alright I am not one to complain on one order mistake but when it happens multiple time you gotta speak up. Papa Johns on Buford hwy has to be one that hires folks that cannot read, don't care about their image or just simply the employees should have never been hired. Food is not prepared as ordered (well done) and is thrown together with the skill of a 5 year old. These employees are not worth the money they're paid. God knows it's not worth the money I had to pay.

PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. Your better off being Hungary! I'm beyond frustrated with my recent order from Papa John's. Here's what happened: The pizza was extremely late. The app claimed it would be delivered in 4 minutes, but after 15 minutes, I called at 11:15 PM. The automated system said it was still on its way. At 11:28 PM, the app finally said "delivered." Despite clear delivery instructions to meet me in the lobby, the pizza was left at the front desk without anyone notifying me. The delivery driver even claimed there was no name on the order, but when I checked, my name was clearly on the box. The pizza was ice cold, greasy, and missing items like the red peppers and cheese I expected. Oddly, there were four ranch sauces instead. When I called the store to explain the issue, the staff member was extremely rude and dismissive, arguing with me and insisting the pizza was delivered at 10:45 PM. That's impossible because the front desk attendant confirmed it arrived shortly before I came down at 11:28 PM. Then she says "well what do you want me to do" Really?? I would have thought she would have atleast offered to send a new pizza, but no she didn't. So I asked for my money back. I couldn't even heat up the pizza because the hotel microwave is unusable. So now I have nothing to eat.

I spoke with the manager and she apologized for the bad service. She asked some questions so she could discover who I had dealt with and promised to deal with them. I believe that she was sincere. I don't know what she did or said to the employees but I trust that they'll not act like that again. She also said I'd get a free pizza next time. I consider this episode closed and I withdraw my original review.

Papa John's Stockbridge, Georgia horrible service employees very rude place my order online and get there to pick it up. It's not even made yet one 800 number to look it up online.

Context - My wife accidentally ordered the wrong Hawaiin pizza. Most Hawaiin pizzas have regular sauce, cheese, and some pineapple. Apparently she saw "Hawaiin" on a custom pizza and it included BBQ sauce. Honest mistake. Here's the problem - over the years, we've literally spend thousands of dollars on pizza from PJs. I called to ask them if they could make it right, while acknowledging our mistake. Considering how much money we've spent at their business - again - in the thousands - you'd think they could make it right. No such luck. The manager stated "It was a customer mistake, not ours." I would understand that, *IF* I was a new customer, or someone who hasn't single-handedly paid for the salaries of multiple employees due to our repeated business. Needless to say, we will no longer be giving Papa John's our business, it will go to Dominos.

I asked for regular pan crust pizza and no cheese. Now any other location gets it right but not State Street. What is this? On top of the fact that it's extremely dried out... who would eat this? Then the manager was completely rude and disregarded everything and blamed it on the fact that I said no cheese. How does no cheese make the crust thin and the pizza dry? How come all other locations can deliver? Don't stop here not worth it.

At this specific location, it's never guaranteed that your order will be ready on time. This location is in West Midtown, I was in Sandy Springs when I ordered my pick up and drove straight to this location. I arrive and my order is not ready. Then when I asked how long before it is ready they said 20 minutes‍. I have ordered from this location multiple times, and most times your order will not be ready on time. People order a pick-up for a reason. I understand getting there and they are finishing up your order because they might be short staffed. But for the order to not have even been started yet is really ridiculous. Especially since this location does not have much space to park. The parking lot never has parking spaces open to just park your car and wait.

We ordered pizza, bread sticks and dipping sauces. They didn't send any dipping sauces after we paid for it. when I called to let them know the manager hung up on me. POOR SERVICE!

"DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE" Very poor service, gave me the wrong order twice , after i waited 15 minutes for them to tell me they didn't have my order!! Staff is very unreliable and not courteous at all, even after all of that not once did they say sorry or let me try and make it right !!!

Solid papa johns! Felt like the sauce wasn't super evenly distributed on the pizza and had clumping in bites. The pizza was also not cut fully through and was quite annoying to pull slices apart (can see difficulty in picture). This paired with the kinda poor sauce/cheese spread made me give it a 3 star

In town till tomorrow, needed a late night pizza delivered to the hotel. Delivery driver couldn't be bothered to deliver to the room, and didn't once look up from videos on his phone when I got down there. Opened pizza upstairs and half of it had no cheese, it was cut so sloppily that there was a triangle in the middle, it was overflowing with tomato sauce, and was just flavorless crap. I'd never had Papa John's before tonight, and I never will again. Garbage food, garbage service. Don't waste your time or money on this place.

Would you like a pizza, but also some garlic butter all over the outside of the box? Stop by papa johns for some takeaway! This location was relatively new (one of the many franchises Shaq owns), but super chaotic inside. We placed an order online and drove over to pick it up. Inside were lots of people waiting for their orders with employees running around and chatting with each other about random stuff. I tried a few times to get the attention of an employee before getting my order (which was there and waiting the entire time) after a 5 minute wait. The pizza was good, we also had chicken poppers and garlic Parmesan chicken wings. Both were very mehhhh, would highly recommend sticking to the pizza if you get papa johns. The garlic sauce from the wings was leaking and by the time we got home, completely covering the pizza box below, not a fun mess to clean up.

I was visiting Atlanta for work and was staying at a hotel downtown. It was late and almost everything was closed, so I ordered delivery from Papa John's on their website. I received a text message saying that their partner DoorDash was going to deliver my pizza. I checked the Papa Tracker site and it said my food was delivered. I never received my food and I tried calling the store, but was out on hold many times. I tried calling the next day and was put on hold for an hour. I went on their website to file a complaint and received an email to reach out to the store for a free Large pizza. I don't live in that state and everytime I call the store I automatically get put on hold forever. I just want my money back.

Fuck this store. They took 2 hours to deliver our pizza less than a mile. We called them and spoke to a "manager" who didn't know what was going on. Then they hung up and we called back and put us on hold for 20 mins

While the pizza itself was good, they put the wrong toppings on half of it. Also, we went to pickup the pizza and the inside of the store was super busy and we weren't able to get our pizza until 15 minutes after it showed "ready" on the pizza tracker.

Ordering for my company online at 9am, this location must be a group of chuckle heads as they haven't been able to to make a 12 noon delivery. This is the second time they have failed so colossally. The first time I thought they might just have a bad day, but I got a clearer picture when I called to see why the pizzas were 10 minutes late and they put me on hold for another 10 minutes. It's just sad. They had three hours to get the pizza delivered on time and couldn't do it. They comped the pies when they arrived an hour and 10 minutes late, but if you add up the salaries of the 15 people they kept waiting in those 70 minutes it's not even close. The twist is that I love PJ pizza and don't want to order from a different franchise. I'll include a picture of the hold time for their number...

Always closes early. Stop advertising 12am but close 30 mins early. Called over an hour in advance but no one picked up and then came into store and they did not look at me while I was knocking the door. People are terrible that work there. Will never support ever again

They spit in my food and sent half the order and there was no one to report it to person waiting on me was extremely rude and nasty no Star if possible :-( and I gave you one star under duress how did you get four

I used to live next door to this Papa John's and remember smelling the aroma of freshly baked pizza dough wafting through the air nearby. It was quite pleasant actually. When I was a student at Tech years ago, I always heard that this store was the highest grossing Papa John's location. For a long time, I never found out for sure whether this was true or not. Well, upon a recent carry-out order here, I asked the manager if what I heard years ago was true and he confirmed it indeed was. This Papa John's used to be the highest grossing location, but in recent years, gave up the No. 1 ranking to a location in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The two apparently have gone back and forth as to which has sold the most pizza. Either way, it's a cool fact to know. This location has been around for at least 11 years. It's small, clean, and well lit. There's a small parking lot in the back for employees and customers stopping by for carry-out orders. My favorite Papa John's pizza to get is "The Works," which is basically a supreme. I always ask for packets of dried red pepper flakes to pour on top of my slices and absolutely love their butter garlic dipping sauce and peperoncini peppers they include with each pie. Delicious. For all you Tech fans, you may catch glimpses of Georgia Tech football and basketball players sneaking out of here with a box or two.

Awful. Somehow it was worse than I thought it would be. The pizza was over cooked. The worst part was the crust, which was dry and both looked and tasted like cardboard. The crust was dry, chewy and flat. The pizza had barely any sauce on it and hardly any toppings. When I first opened the box, I thought they had accidentally given me a plain cheese pizza. Add to that the fact that I had to wait about 8 minutes for anyone to say anything to me once I entered the store. It's a no for me. Will never be back.

They need better customer service!!! The people who work at this location are extremely rude and SLOW! I've never been more dissatisfied with an establishment as I am with my recent experience at this location. Due to COVID, the lobby is not open and so they are using the walk up window. There were at least 8 people inside working. Yet everything and everyone looked extremely disorderly and disorganized. There were approximately 20 people standing outside waiting to pick up orders The guy working the window had the worse attitude. I usually give more details for reviews, but all you need to know for this place is: they have THE worse service.

I received some of the worst customer service at this location. I called the "Manager's line" to see how long in advance I needed to place a large so that I could make sure that I received it in time, and the young lady, Bria, who answered was extremely rude telling me that I needed to place the order "now". When I said that I needed to go back to my group to get the order details, her attitude became even worse. I then asked was she the manager (because I did choose the "Manager's line") and said no. I told her that I didn't like her attitude when was trying to spend such a large amount with her establishment, and that I wanted to speak to a manager. She said ok, and after about 3 minutes of hold time (in which she was undoubtedly explaining her side of the story) the manager (didn't get his name) gets on the phone is very rude and condescending. I tell him that I'm trying to spend a few hundred dollars with his establishment and I don't like the way that I'm being treated. He seemed very uninterested in resolving my issue and earning business. He was more interested in keeping his loyalty to Bria and making it seem like I was an out of control customer, so I told him that I would call back. Ultimately, I determined that I wouldn't be able to trust this location with my order, so I took my business (and $350) to Mellow Mushroom in Midtown. The service was much better.

Sorry customer service, I called 15min before they were to close. I was transferred to the store and they hung up on me because they didn't want to make my order. What a sorry place

if you are hungry and want pizza, DO NOT order from here! I placed an order at 7:15 PM and it didn't arrive until 10:30 PM. We called the store multiple times and they assured us that the delivery driver was out, we even asked if we could pick up at one point and they said no. How does it take over 3 hours for a pizza place to deliver 2 medium veggie pizzas to a place a little under 2 miles away.

Placed my order at 9:10 pm and they used door dash to deliver the pizza two hours later. The pizza was cold and I could not eat it. This is the second time the location on N. Druid Hills rd has done this to me and their will not be a third.

Pretty good location. I recommend ordering for carryout through their app or website because I am always satisfied. The only times I get concerned is when my pizza gets delivered through DoorDash because we all know DoorDash can be annoying sometimes. Overall, the location isn't bad and I've been there so many times

We ordered food over the phone and the employee was extremely rude! When we picked the food up, we didn't even have a garlic sauce in each box. Once we finally ate the pizza, it tasted old and outdated!

I'd ordered a pizza on the app to pick up to take to the tailgate for our sons. I ordered on the app so that it would be ready when we arrived. Not only was it not ready, it wasn't even in the queue. And even after 20 minutes of waiting, it wasn't ready. I had to remind them. Luckily it was just a medium cheese pizza. Staff didn't seem to care at all. They were just confused as to why I was still standing there for so long...

Like incredible customer service and great value? Go somewhere else. This place can't turn a cheese pizza in under 2 hours. A joke of a franchise that has gone down hill since the late 2000's. Not even papa john himself could save this place. I wouldn't eat here for free.

This is BY FAR the worst fucking customer service I've ever received! If I could give them a zero I would! Beyond livid I paid for delivery and they didn't deliver my food!! I am so pissed!!!!

Got a pizza takeout a couple days back, 3 of the employees had masks at their chin, how does it help in anyway. Where is the contactless delivery then? Pizza was average as it usually is, no complaints.

Order was sent incomplete and when I called this location approximately 5 minutes after my delivery they had NO history of my order!!! Terrible!!!

We ordered a pizza and it said 50 minutes on the app. After 90 minutes we called and they said it would be another 40 minutes and so we asked for a discount and they said they don't do discounts because they said it would be over 100 minutes? Absolute trash customer service.

They don't wear gloves. Or most importantly she didn't wash her hands before making the pizza. The lady went straight from the cash register ringing up my order to making my pizza. I'll pass.

Sounds like there's a trend. This shop offers 2-2.5 hour delivery times, even on a Wednesday night when no sporting events are going on. Don't count on a quick delivery. Manager says he sees the driver is arriving on the map, but had a 30 minute wait time after that. Last time I order from here!

Do NOT order from here. I ordered a pizza and two hours later it still hadn't been delivered. I called back to see where it was. They said no order had been placed under my phone number. My debit card was charged for the pizza I never received.

Oh papa johns. So when I try to order delivery from here it takes FOREVER. However, I was walking home from the Atlanta united game and stopped by. Got my pizza in 15 minutes. It was delicious, and they gave cups and plates. The service was fast and the cashier was polite. They are located right by the tech campus, so I can imagine that they get crazy busy. If you order from them, just go pick it up. It's got parking right behind the building or you might be able to see a little parking along the street.

Worst papa John's I've ever had. Hardly any sauce or cheese on my pizza at all. Holes where there was nothing but bread. Luke-warm and just not very flavorful. The jalapeño bites were terrible. Just a lot of bland bread and hardly anything else. Very slow and an indifferent staff.

I ordered delivery last night via the website for two pizzas and garlic knots. The quoted delivery time was 32-40 minutes and it took about an hour and ten minutes to arrive. Unfortunately, it seems par for the course for most chain pizza delivery in Atlanta. The food was good, and there was extra sauce on the pizza as ordered. I will likely order from here again since the pizza delivery options in my area are pretty slim.

Terrible service, took 4 hours for the delivery. After 2 hours, we ordered from Dominoes and ate before the papa John's delivery guy came in. Pizza came in cold; had to wait for it to thaw and put it in the oven for the pizza to melt. Pizza was great tho

Customer service is the worst. They are never ready with your food. If you're backed up, stop receiving orders!. I had to wait about 1 hour to get my food after I was notification that my order was ready for pick up

So I've tried to order three times through the Apple TV app. First time, the app wouldn't let me enter a credit card and when the delivery person came way over an hour later, they demanded cash. It was a painful process to go through for barely warm pizza. I was told to log into the website and add a credit card, so I did. The next time I tried to order, the app let me pay with a credit card. Over an hour and a half passed and no pizza. I called, they had no record of my order and hung up. 5 minutes I received an email saying my order was cancelled. Third time, I decided to give their gluten free pizza a try. This time I got a call saying they didn't have gluten free crust! I'M DONE!

Indifference is served here. Ordered take out arrived 1:45 later I called in the interim and they did not care it was not delivered promptly. Arrived cold and it was awful- think about refrigerated Mc Donald's.... Delivery guy was nice and apologetic and explained 90% of their business is the GeorgiaTech Students that's why they are so busy when they leave Poppa Johns business plummets. GT Students be aware they are taking advantage of you !!!- order from any other food app! like I will and you will never have to be taken advantage of by a company who serves sub par food and could care less about you and the food- we all deserve better No stars if possible- They should be arrested for what they serve and the customer service. Call the police! Don't call Poppa Johns!

I would give zero stars if I could. I am vegetarian. My husband called to order a supreme for him and a cheese stick for me. They said 45 mins. TWO hours later we call (for the 3rd time!) because they STILL aren't here. Finally got here. My husband went out to meet the driver and he was chasing our Dr Pepper rolling down the driveway. and the man we open the cheesesticks to see they have bacon ALL over and IN them. Tried to call to at least get a refund for the cheesesticks - realistically should be the whole order because it took two damn hours. Manager was a total asshole and refused. Cold pizza and I can't even eat what we paid over $20 for. Terrible customer service, terrible food. Would not recommend, will not be returning.
