Papa Johns Pizza

This is the second time I’ve ordered from them and it’s been a hot mess. They always get my order wrong. I asked for a small pepperoni pizza and they gave me a thin crust burnt cheese pizza never order using uber eats for them either you would never get a replacement pizza and very little money back! Worse place ever 🤮

The manager Juose here was rude, condescending, and lacks any sort of customer service skills!!! I feel bad for his staff & hope Papa John retrains him on how to properly lead and represent a brand. However, shoutout to the employee Marcus who understands that deescalating an intense situation just takes a little kindness & empathy. It goes a long way! I will never go back but this young man is definitely going places and hopefully it is far away from the tyrant of a manager they have.

I placed an order for curbside pickup, but no one ever brought it out, so I had to go inside. When I got there, they only had half of my order ready. They had to make the missing pizza, which I understood, but when I requested for the entire order to be remade so everything would be fresh, it became an issue. In the end, I waited over an hour for my order.

If I could give this Papa John’s zero stars, I would. The employees here seem way more interested in their phones and chatting than actually making food. I had to wait over an hour for a small pizza—which is absolutely ridiculous. Meanwhile, the staff was too busy yapping away and scrolling on their phones instead of keeping up with orders. No urgency, no customer service, just pure carelessness. If you’re hungry and don’t want to waste your time, go somewhere else. This location is a joke.

The young man yesterday at the Forest Park location was absolutely PHENOMENAL!! He assisted me with how to order online for 9.99 deal. He also assured me my pizza would be ready in 8mins, guess what? It was🥰. I literally starving and the pizza was a 🤌🏻😘. Thanks for top tier service💪💙

Yo, can yall stop givin my orders to people who are gonna eat or take my shit? Make sure they confirm orders and actually make sure the food is untouched till they reach the car??? Sick of wasting my money here this isnt the first or 2nd time this has happened.

Order was supposed to be square cut and wasn’t. Food ready fast but drowned in toppings. More onions than cheese. All sausage half onions was more like half onions and half sausage. Onion side had little to no onions.

There's little rolled up plastic pieces in the dough and sauce from the utensils they use. I got a job at a different location in Riverdale just to investigate myself. It's easy to mistake the plastic from some type of spice in the sauce

As I entered the store a little before 10pm one evening, there were 3 young men in the back with the music blasting...who all looked directly at me and didn't say one word. I was completely ignored for about 20 seconds, until one of them says "are you picking up?" There was no "hello" or greeting of any kind. I was extremely turned off, so I left. Nothing worse than bad customer service. There was also a handful of people waiting for their orders as well.

horrible service . I called to place an order , took 50 minutes . Food was not delivered I called again to make sure it was getting delivered, turns out they "already delivered the order and no one answered " no one knocked.

Worst store ever, employees are stealing credit card info, went into the store last night and use my credit card before I could get home to even eat the pizza. The employee was using my card at Walmart and Amazon Racking up charges like there was no tomorrow. Never go there

Did a pick up order on the app and did it for 45 minutes and said that was too soon for two pizzas so had to wait an hour, which is okay. Had all the ingredients I asked for, but added tomatoes to the Alfredo pizza even though I took them off on the app.

Ordered two large pies and got two medium pies. I even gave a big tip. Last time they got my order correct. Don't know what happened this time. They got one more chance to get the order right or I will be up there to get a refund.

They send the pizza to wrong address, they never apologized, the cashier always laughing at my problems, I asked for the manager and she said is not at this time only workers but later the manager appeared just for closed the window in my face . I have proof of the problem . And bad pizza from the floor

Tonight I ordered papa Johns pizza on the app the wait time stated 110 to 190 minutes. It remained on making for over an hour. I contacted the store several times and placed on hold for over 10 minutes each time. Finally I hung up, cooked myself something to eat! When I go into the app it showed me delivered and click to confirm delivery. I did not click confirm because I opened my door and there was nothing there. I attempted to call the store again to be placed on hold again. I will NEVER ORDER PAPA JOHNS EVER AGAIN!!!

It took a hour to get my pizza. I DESERVE FREE PIZZA! I'M NOT GIVING YOU A TIP FOR SHITTY SERVICE. I call the store to ask how long is the wait and the manager was "30 mins due to the driver" ugh!!!!!! Honey I want my food that's not fair what you do to this people. Little Cesar will give you a free pizza if you don't like it. They should bring the honor code. If we don't deliver to you it's free. I'm never going to order papa Johns ever again!

whoever owns this franchise should know that its sucks to do business with this operation. Customer service bad. Management bad. I work to hard and l can never get back the the time I wasted in going here.

After waiting 2 and a half hour for my pizza delivery I GAVE UP. This place has no customer Service at all and I can definitely say it's the worst Papa Johns I have ever placed the order at in my Life.

This is the worst food that has ever gotten delivered to my house there was nothing right about this order. Then they had a attitude when I asked them to send another pizza out. DON'T ORDER PIZZA FROM THIS PLACE!

I ordered from the PJ app. I was emailed a receipt. The pizza I received had the ingredients I ordered but not placed how I ordered them. I read the receipt on how it was to be put together and the shift leader told me that is not what her order says. I asked her was she going to fix the issue and she said no. While I was talking, she put the phone down and walked away. When she returned, I reminded her that she had the authority to fix the issue and she told she wasn't. The pizza went in the trash. I'm so hungry. I really really hate PJ.

hands down, the best pizza in the area. the staff is top notch. professional, clean, polite and efficient. the young man baking the pizza, the lady fluffing the dough and both managers we're excellent. two years ago I tried Little Caesar's a block down and it had NO PEPPERONI, NONE. When I returned the "manager" wouldn't exchange it. I didn't even know these jacklegs had cheese pizza. Never again for Little Caesar's. So I tried Dominoes on Mt Zion and when I got it home, I had to get my own cheese to add to it. Never ever again. Today's visit at this Papa Johns was a pleasure and delicious, and for the same or less priceas anyone in the area.

3/13/21 I placed an order at 7:50 pm.. delivered 11:05pm. Also they DO NOT answer the phone at this location.. the tracker does not let you see estimated wait times until AFTER you place the order... good luck trying to call and cancel! The label on the box says 9:28 .. so it took them almost 2 hours to start the order?!? They partner thru Doordash instead of using their own drivers which is strange for a pizza place. Do NOT place a delivery order unless you want to wait hours.. my estimated order time was 70 minutes and took 3 hours.. my kids were asleep before it arrived and don't want pizza at 11 pm!!! Disgusting customer service. I order pizza weekly and always use their drive thru but I will NEVER order again.. not to mention the pizza was made wrong! Well done means WELL DONE, not doughy and raw. No one wants to eat raw dough.

Zero stars !!!!!!! I make a order and I go to pick it up . When my husband gets there they say cash only (a courtesy call would have been nice ) . We go to get some cash and when we come back they pull our COLD pizza off a rack . We then ask for a fresh one which they comply and we wait outside the store to watch . No new pizza was made nor did they warm the old one then ask us to pay !!!!! Negative !!! Unprofessional. We were not looking for a free pizza just a hot one with some good customer service.

Never again will we order a Papa John's Pizza. Seriously this was the most nastiest pizza I ever had. What brought us here was the tv advertisement. The pizza on the Television looked very appealing. Our pizza was basically medium cook dough with one spread of sauce on top with some ingredients. The pizza tasted like straight up dough, no taste at all. Just imagine biting into some undercooked dough. A mouth full of mush. Fresh ingredients my a$$. What a waste of money!!!! We paid for a pizza and got dough. So disappointed. However, the one star is for the staff. They were very nice. We will most definitely stick to Oz Pizza, Fellinis Pizza, and Maddio's Pizza. No more Papa John's slop..

I placed an order about a couple of weeks ago and I was told after my order was delivered late and my pizza was cold I would receive another one free of charge the next time I ordered . The driver that brought my order before car broke down so I receive my pizza an hour late . Which I know situations comes up . When I just tried to place a new order the young lady tell me that I will only be getting 40% off. That's not what the salesman told me before . It's ok I won't be doing business with them again ....

I know other be having problems with this location but I love it every time I order my pizza when I go to pick it up its nice and hot and made just how I like it . I always get a chicken, onion mushroom pizza with garlic bread stick and some chicken bites with honey mustard and every time my food is wonderful. My coupon are always accepted and I even enrolled at papa johns and receive free pizza every time I get 25 points I like this place

I ordered online no one called at the door ended up just canceling the order completely smh! That Tierra girl is extremely nasty as well and she sounds confused like she has no clue about her job omg! day shift papa johns crew... TRASH

Best rubberized cold pizza in forest park area. I recieved my pizza about an hour after I ordered. The store was .3 miles away. I had to phone in my order. Online required ne to make a papa John's account to order online. I had to ask to pay by card over the phone. The buffalo chicken pizza isn't too bad, with it being spicy, it's easy to pretend that it's warm. Not very easy chewing with false teeth though! Hindsight, I should of just ordered cheese, dough, sauce and chicken. I could have left it out in the sun for an hour or two to get the same thing.

Terrible terrible terrible. After calling about 4 times and being placed on hold each time and no ever came back to the phone. Why oh why did I decide to go to the location to place my order. After given a time for my food to be done I never received my food being the never made. I waisted my entire lunch break. Not to mention this location does not have the cleanest looking people working here

Terrible service. I love Papa John's & I've never had a bad experience with them but these employees are so rude. I ordered my food at 10:23PM. The online tracker said it would be done in 32 minutes. I know this can take longer so I gave it more time. I called the store at 11:13 PM & before I could even speak, an employee said "we are working on all delivery orders right now." This lets you know that a lot of people are calling for their food!!!! I called back at 12:09 AM because my food still hadn't been delivered. When the employee answered the phone, she said "Hello" & I began to tell her that's it's been almost 2 hours & still no food. She said "baby your food is on the way. the driver just left" in a nasty attitude.

They are the worst pizza delivery service ever. The pizza was cold and it took over and hour and a half. It was so nasty I through up after eating that shit!!! Customer service is the worst.

I see a lot of bad reviews about Papa John's this probably being that the people that had a good experience are probably not reviewing at all. For me this restaurant never disappoints!

Ordered online and called to confirm my order. Was placed on hold for 15 minutes. Called back and placed on hold again for another 15 minutes. I finally hung up and won't order from them again. Wish I hadn't tipped in advance, or I would have not tipped at all. Very poor customer service. Next time I'll just stick to my usual pizza place.

Why this papa johns wont honor the coupons they sent? Tried to use a $10 any order of $25 or more, our order was $37 total and then it wouldn't honor the "online only" coupons. Order cancelled and we eating somewhere else.

Absolutely terrible!!! I ordered a speciality pizza and the apple pie thing. Well, the pizza looked good on the top,however when I went in for a bite... I got a mouth full of flour! The flour on the bottom of the pizza was thick. Ugh! So, I went to pick up a piece of the apple pie. The sauce/syrup was so thick and messy that it stuck to the box. It was like icing was drowned over the top of it. Nonetheless, I took both back. I told the cashier/manager that I would just like a plain pepperoni pizza. She wanted me to exchange the apple pie for another dessert, but I didn't want to chance anything else. Since she could not properly refund the difference she just gave me the pizza free. Cool huh? Well I'll tell ya, I've had alot of pepperoni pizzas from papa Johns and I must admit... this was absolutely the worse! From the bland sauce, hard garlic butter, and just the overall quality wasn't good. I must say, this is the worse papa Johns that I ever been to. Do yourself a big favor, go to another one or try another pizza place all together.

takes them over TWO hours to deliver pizza when i live 8 minutes away. i will NEVER again order from here. i placed an order at 2:08 p.m it is now 4:24 p.m and still no pizza, they claim they are having car issues and that they will be here as soon as possible yeah right.... it's no wonder this place has 2 stars. screw you papa johns..

Papa John's used to be my favorite - I would eat there once or twice a week. But the service has really went down. My 83 year old Mama lives in Forest Park. She called me and said she wanted some pizza. Since I used to eat at Papa John's I called and had them deliver a pizza to my mom (I paid for it). It was supposed to be there in 30-40 minutes. It took an hour and a half, the pizza was cold and hard as cardboard. On top of that it was the wrong type of pizza - I said no hot peppers and they put hot peppers on it (Mom doesn't eat hot stuff). If you are a pizza lover - avoid Papa John's at all cost. I will never darken their doors again - there are other pizza companies out there that appreciate their customers - but Papa John's isn't one of them.

Papa John's in Forest Park has always given fast & courteous service. If it is game night be sure to order in advance.

I ordered the buffalo chicken pizza and another with onions, green peppers, sausage, bacon, and chicken. They made two pizzas with the 5 toppings on it and tried to tell me that one was the buffalo chicken, like I'm a idiot that doesn't know the difference. WILL NOT be going back to Papa Johns again.
