Food had always been good. But the service of this Local in particular is TERRIBLE. I always order online, but for some reason the order that should be un 10-15 mins is "on it's way" after a moment, I get that orders don't get ready in that short time. But if im calling because it's been AN HOURR, and I just wanna call the place for details it is INSUFFERABLE that they don't even pick up the phone. More than 10 mins over the phone waiting with the automatic message playing over an over again, but nobody answer. Decent food, TERRIBLE service.

I have been ordering from here for years The food has been great. Never any complaints. I’ll give this a five star.

terrible. pizza was cold, their delivery person (NOT uber or grubhub) somehow popped the garlic and it exploded all over one of the pies, gave us the wrong order and was disrespectful when i called about it. DO NOT ORDER

Location says open, but staff says “no, you’re too late, and we’re closed.” Will Lee be order from this place again. Also, they tried to charge even though they said they are closed.

Went in here around noon. The place was empty and not busy. I place an order and they hand me my receipt. They tell me my food will be ready in 10-15 mins. I come back in 9 mins and when my food is ready the same person who took my order is demanding my receipt as if he didn’t see and take my order less than 10 mins ago. I was actually baffled. He didn’t even look at the receipt, that’s the interesting part. And if I didn’t have my receipt, then what? Were they going to pretend like I just wasn’t in this non-busy store? 🤔 It just seems like one of those “policies” businesses implement in lower income (black) neighborhoods. I’m doubtful other locations in non-black areas would treat their patrons this way. So unfortunately I will never return.

Despite the overall rating of this Papa Johns, I have to say I disagree. My experience here was positive and the ordering process is seamless. I've ordered in person and via the app and received my order in a reasonable amount of time. I usually get the small or medium cheese pizza with pineapple as my topping. The pizza is always nice and hot. The garlic sauce is an absolute must whenever I get a pizza from here. Although I don't order often, it's a good local alternative when it comes to grabbing a bite to eat at a reasonable price.

When I'm really hungry and craving pizza, this Papa John's is my go-to. It's just a block away, affordable, and the portions are great for the price. I usually order online and pick up in-store since they often have good deals that way. I also appreciate the free birthday rewards I get every year. Also the more you buy you get points that become discounts. The wait time is usually around 10-15 minutes, which is reasonable. It can get a little crowded between 3-6pm with school kids stopping by after class, but outside of that, I've never had any real issues. This location has been here for years, and as someone who has lived in the neighborhood for over 30 years, I have no complaint this papa johns.

Ordered the new pizza bowl. It definitely did not live up to the look from the commercial. You would need to eat at least three to get full. They don't fill up the bowl. It's about 1/3 full.

Tbh, I had the most seamless ordering process at this Papa Johns location. I found myself debating if I should give this place 5 stars or not because all the other reviews are terrible, but I could find not one thing wrong my experience. I ordered my phone on the Papa Johns website and my estimated time to pick up was between 15-25 minutes. Perfect! In 20 minutes I walked over to the location and my food was ready for pickup! I didn't even have to wait. I'll definitely be doing this from now to avoid those delivery nightmares!

Then Sprint offered a free pie as a perk of its reward program. I chatted with a friend about the moral/ foodie conflict. She reminded me he was fired as the CEO. I reminded her that though he is no longer the face of the brand, among other things he still likely has stock options and continues to reap the benefits from the sale of EVRY pie behind closed doors, and, very much in his off-shore accountSSS. Ultimately, I decided that because it was through a 3rd party, and free, it wouldn't put money into his pocket, (though of course I don't know what arrangement Sprint worked out for this deal; payment, in-kind referrals), so I redeemed the offer. I ordered online a large Pineapple Pizza, light cheese, cut into squares. It was decent. Not the best I've had as far as Papa John's Pizza goes, blander than in earlier years. The accompanying peppers and garlic sauce helped. The food earned *Ed McMahon voice* 3 stars. I walked in, said my name and received my pizza within the timeframe they stated. It wasn't cut into squares. When I voiced this, my pizza was promptly taken to the "back", cut and returned to me with a smile and a friendly farewell. So with the food & service average...4 stars.

Smooth ordering process. I called ahead of time for a small pizza and they said 15 minutes and it was ready before that on a Saturday night. The guy on the phone and at the cash register was really nice. But, when I got my pizza they didn't evenly spread the toppings. I got a lot of jalepenos and barely any vegetables.

If i could give this place a negative review I would. Spent $50 on pizza. Paid $5.99 for delivery to have the delivery driver ask me to go downstairs to the front of the building to pick up the pizza. Then he says he has a bad ankle so can't walk up the stairs. I explain i have a child i can't leave alone. He doesn't care tells me he's going to go back to the store and hangs up on me. I call the store and they don't help either. Telling me that they don't deliver for safety issues. So why am i being charged $6 for a delivery that never happens. They were both pretty nasty. They also never delivered the pizza and i still got charged. Save yourself the time they won't bring it up to you. Also called customer service and they basically can't do anything for you either so now will have to dispute with my bank. Oh and still no pizza after all of that smh- go to another papa John's. This one is terrible. Especially the delivery driver.

Waited 2 hours for the driver to tell me they didn't give him my order. Outta respect avoid this store trust me

Horrible service. After the estimated delivery time passed, I called because the tracker still said that my pizza was being made. The employee put me on hold then came back on the phone telling me that the guy gave me my money. I had no idea what he was talking about and after explaining that my pizza should have been delivered by now, I was put on hold for another 15 MINUTES. I noticed that during this time, the tracker moved from making to baking. They had just began to make my order because I called to complain! No one ever took me off of hold to explain to me what happened or even give me a chance to ask for my money back. Won't be eating from here again. In the screenshot attached, you will see that the time is 10:55. You can look at the estimated time of arrival and look at the tracker and see why I'm so frustrated.

Papa Johns is the best! The food is always hot and delicious! I have Dominoes 1 minute away from me, yet I find myself ordering from here instead. The only thing I would say is... you guys should have more affordable deals like Dominoes.

The store is dirty and they take long. There phones are dirty and it make you wonder what your eating. There is no sense of urgency and I saw 1 person eating, answering the phone and touching their own phone. I watch a guy who delivers I guess walked in and started preping the food. Gentleman who was eating place my sauce in the box and left his greasy hand prints on my box. How is that sanitize or professional. Ugh

I'm going to make this review short; Very Salty, your delivery will be COLD with a delivery guy that has an attitude. OR you can go pick up your cold pizza for a stupid price then after , you can enjoy your tummy ache. I chose to skip papa johns overall and go to my local Italian Pizza spot. This location does a very poor job. Steer away from this location. Disgusting.

This ain't great pizza, but they deliver and it's edible. If you order delivery DO NOT USE A CREDIT CARD. Your pizza will never arrive. Use cash on delivery. Your food will arrive much quicker (they want the cash) and, well, your credit card # will be safer. In short it won't kill you but if you're willing to make the trek, Family Pizza is infinitely better.

We have given them a couple of chances but the delivery always takes well over two hours and when you call to check they are extremely rude and angry at you. The app often says delivered when the pizza is no where near your house. Don't waste your time, the convenience is not worth it. Just find a proper nyc pizza place they always work much harder.

First and last time i ordered in this store . 40 min waiting and wrong pizza. Very bad service

Le sigh... This place has given me grief since the beginning of July. July 4th. I place an order online and my email says that it will be there within 30min. It takes over and hour and a half to even arrive. Turns out the pizza is cold and event the cardboard box looks wilted from sitting for so long. I file a complaint on papa johns corporate. TWICE. I only get a response once saying that the store will call me. It never did, because if they did and I didn't answer they would have left a message if they actually cared. Today I called THEM because of my frustrations and they say they will give me a credit for my purchase on the Fourth of July. All fine and dandy, so I go to order and I ordered a specialty pizza added chicken. The pizza gets to me, NO CHICKEN. ARGHHH. I call AGAINNNNN and (my sister said she knows she heard me say add chicken) I tell them that they missed it. They said they didn't hear me say add chicken. I just don't understand how this is such a hassle. Very frustrated and dissatisfied.

On two occasions, delivery person claimed he ' did not have enough change for a $20'. It was 1pm and he said his previous customers gave him large bills. I had his cell phone number I had the establishment's number I had the pizza It was a $27. I gave him $40. After 20 minutes, I called the cell phone. No answer I called the establishment and threatened to call the police if I didn't get my change in 5 minutes In 5 minutes, my change arrived. There is something dishonest with this place. Don't order from here!!!!

Two hours after placing my order my driver finally arrive high, slumped over in his car and unresponsive to the many taps on his window. I saw him breath so I knew he wasn't dead. I called Papa Johns to tell them their driver was passed out. They laughed and said he "seemed sleepy" when he came in today. They managed to wake him up by calling him on the other line. I went back downstairs and watched the driver stumble his way to the front door of my building. When he arrived he did not have change and could barely stand. After saying forget it I had to help the driver put the pizza back in the bag because he could hardly stand up straight. On a serious note...you have a driver clearly high but let him make deliveries. I regret not calling the cops to get him off the road.

The workers here are rude and disrespectful and the delivery wait is way over 2 hours! Why do I have to give a star?!?!

The pizza was ok but the delivery could be a little faster. Decent pizza compare to other pizza stores.They do have more varies than other stores.I order on the phone.. so i never had problem like others do..maybe im just lucky Favorite one is pineapple and mushroom

$14.75...this is what I paid Papa John's to poison me for the night! This was my second time ordering from this particular store. The first experience was ok but that went down the drain the second time. I order my pizza online and I wait the standard 30-40 minutes to get my pizza. I get no answer, so I call the store. The lady tells me to look outside for the pizza. I live in apartment building and don't have a window facing the outside of my building. She assures me the driver should come in 10 minutes. I wait an additional 20 minutes and no one. I call again, the woman, nearly curses me out and gets the driver on the phone. At this point, I am waiting outside for my pizza. In five minutes, the driver pulls up in an unidentifiable black car with darkly tinted windows. Did I order pizza or an illegal substance? He gives me pizza, I unfortunately tip him and run back to my apartment. I open the pizza box and my pizza is cold. I'm so hungry at this point, that I just warm the pizza in my oven, which I really don't have to do. I eat one slice, a second, and by the third...a strange rumbling erupts in my stomach. In less than a second, I find myself from my couch straight to the bathroom. Not to indulge in any foul details, I had a major bowel eruption! This Papa John's gets a major thumbs down!

Apparently walking up 1 floor, taking the elevator up one floor, or even walking up to the door to ring someone's bell is too much of an hassle for the delivery drivers. They would rather take the order back and lose $26 + gas than to do either of the above which is about a minute to perform. Stick to your local pizza guy or chinese/sushi food, at least they know the importance of money, and would walk the floor to deliver your food at your door instead of staying in their car as if they are some sort of obese person with a disability. And then they have the audacity to get mad at you if you dont tip them for staying in their car even if you paid the delivery fee.

Very poor service and extremely rude staff at this place. I ordered pizza from here recently and it took over 90 minutes to arrive though it guaranteed a 30-40 min delivery online. When I called the pizza store the person I spoke to was very rude and said he didn't know when it would be delivered. He also was very disorganized and kept saying he didn't have my order, but finally admitted he had it. DON'T order from here! It will be a huge hassle!

Took over three hours to get a pizza delivered and involved multiple phone calls. Also what's with the $6 delivery fee? Insanity, save your time and just make your own pizza.

It took almost 2 hours for them to deliver a large cheese pizza. They kept blaming the fact that they didn't have any drivers - yes that makes sense for a place where 90% of its orders are for delivery. This is ridiculous! Cold pizza, bad service - don't go here.

Online order. E-mail confirmation said 30-40 minutes delivery time. Waited 1.5 hours. Called the location, and the woman answering the phone made no apologies, and had no explanation other than "we're sending the delivery guy now". Worst customer service. More people should complain to Papa John's corporate, as it seems like they do care about their reputation among customers. But avoid ordering from this particular franchise.

Horrendous all around, but tonight I've had it. I live right down the street from this particular location, but often choose to use delivery. They consistently take 45-90 minutes to deliver the pizza, and tonight, our delivery guy showed up and made me meet him outside, only to have me waiting 5 minutes outside in the cold, and then come over and tell me that he accidentally gave my pizza to his previous delivery and had to go back to the store and get me a new pizza. We had been waiting an hour before the driver came, and now I expect we'll be waiting another hour so he can correct his mistake. We'll be going elsewhere from now on. Tonight was the last time I'll ever order from them

Never have a chance to try PizzaHut because of local coupons and promotions. And they work on Christmas day! Which is cool.

got a chance to put in my review for Papa John's never on time when say to me 10 minutes it was 20 minutes sometimes burn not fully cooked finally got my pie. got home starving they messed up the order I said half pepperoni have cheese and what's up with mr. Papa the large is a medium the medium is a small this Brooklyn New York we got pizzeria places all over the place why we bother but when you do call them back and tell them they messed up they will give you pie n chicken that's only thing that's good about them no problem

Normally it takes forever to get an order delivered. Today the service was great and the food was better as well. I hope u guys keep up with the consistency

NEVER in my life have I ever experienced such awful customer service! The first time I ordered form this location, they messed up my order. When I called to let them know, the manager on duty at the time said they would rectify the mistake with my next order, To which I thanked him and moved on. Fast forward to today I place my order and explained the situation to the current manger on duty and he told me he would make good on the other managers promise. When my order came it was still incomplete and messed up. When I called and told them that they still messed up my order the manager said he would make it up NEXT TIME. To which I explained to him that this is the second time and I would like him to rectify the situation tonight. He then told me I would have to wait and it's not his fault. I explained to him that it was his fault that he did not send the driver with my complete order. To which he began to attempt an argument with me about who messed up my order. When I asked for his name he told me NO and hung up in my face. I called back and asked again for his name and told him I was displeased with the customer service. I was spending my money and being treated poorly because of a mistake where the restaurant was at fault. I asked to speak to someone other than him. He told me he was the manger and Once again refused to give me his name and hung up in my face. I then called the delivery driver who's name is Murdock and explained what was happening. Murdock was very nice and also appalled at the behavior and customer service I was receiving. He apologized for the actions of his "so called" manager while explaining to me that it was the managers second day on the job. Murdock needs to be more than a delivery driver! He needs to be running that place! He listened to my concern and was remorseful and respectful. I told him this nameless manager was unprofessional and that I will be reporting this to corporate. No person spending their money should be treated this way. But with the CEO using the "N word" in his meetings, It's clear this company lacks morals and integrity of any sort. Disgusting. I will NEVER SUPPORT THIS FRANCHISE OR ANY OF ITS LOCATIONS EVER AGAIN.

Wow. Good job ppjs. Just got my pizza in 28 mins in Brooklyn where domino's takes 1.5 hours on a good day. The pizza was really good, I got the big bonanza with pineapple and it was exactly what I needed tonight: fast delivery & good service (super polite driver) and good pizza. Never doing domino's again in Brooklyn. Got wings another time with my neighbors and the wings were good and the delivery was fast too. Just please have your drivers to actually come up to the door. A little annoying to go downstairs to pick up when other delivery will bring to your apt door. Still happy with you guys though. Doing a good job at the Rogers Ave location.

Slowest service ever. It took two hours for me to receive my order and when I called about it I get nothing but B.S. Avoid this location at all cost.

I order from here whenever I'm in the mood for pizza. Workers are always friendly, deliveries are fast food is great. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Hot wings to die for.

If it is possible to give a negative star I really would. I have been ordering from here for years since they first open but today was the last straw from me. I ordered a pizza online using a code. Little did I know it was a carry out. I sat for an hour until I called them and asked where is my pizza. The person who answer the phone told me it was a carry out deal. So if you have a carry out sitting for an hour wouldn't it make sense to call the person to see what is going on??? I told her I would like it delivered she said okay. I waited for a half hour until I got a call from someone asking me if I would like my carry out delivered?? WTF!!!!!!!! The person who called me just started his shift and saw my pizza just sitting there to ask if I wanted delivered. So the female who asked me earlier if I wanted delivered didn't even do it. You guys hit a super low. I would never order from this company again. My daughter and I waited almost 2 hours for a pizza. YOU DON'T LIKE YOUR JOB. WORK SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!!!!!!!

They don't seem to want to come to your door at all and will tell you some nonsense about parking. The pizza is papas john's style: It's OK at best, better if you're hungry but too doughy, and does not taste as good if it arrives late and is just 'warm'. Wings are good though.

This place is terrible, the delivery service is the worst I have ever experienced. Your pizza will arrive cold. My order took 90 minutes when I was told 30 - 40 minutes, my order was short an item. I called the store and they stated they would send it right away - I never received it. Honestly there are a lot of good neighbor hood pizza spots in Brooklyn. Skip this mess or you will regret it

It's chain pizza, isn't great, but they're open later than the local places that have much better pizza and they deliver/take cards. Ordered online, waited nearly an hour before the guy calls me. They obviously wait to build up enough orders to send a guy out, because he had 3 other pizzas in his bag. But he was friendly enough. Pizza was luke-warm when i got it. Not impressed, won't order from here again unless i'm starving and it's this late.

Today, we ordered honey chipotle wings, among other things, over the phone but were delivered buffalo instead. Called Papa Johns to speak with the young lady again, personally, but were immediately placed on hold. A gentleman, by the name of Corey, picked up and in an unexpected pleasant tone asked how he could assist us instead. Told him the error and he immediately corrected it by sending someone else out asap. His personable and understanding approach was greatly appreciated. Other than that, the food is prepared well. Our only problem is that the delivery people do not use our elevator and delivery to our door like other restaurants.
