Papa Johns Pizza

Instead of Taco Tuesday we decided to order pizza. Best decision we made. We ordered online for delivery. Shortly after placing our order I received a call from D.J. who informed me they were out of wings and would I like to substitute or receive a refund. We asked for the brownies and we were not disappointed. Instead of a miscellaneous substitution or allowing a missing item delivery, he was kind and considerate in calling. He brought a smile to my face. During the call I could hear co-workers talking and laughing and that is where the 5 star rating came in for atmosphere. It sure was good to hear people laughing at work providing a service to me. The stuffed crust pizza and brownies were delivered piping hot and were absolutely delicious. Didn't get the name of the nice Uber driver. I then took a moment of my time to call D.J. back to let him know how great everything was. I hope I brought a smile to his face! We can never give or receive too many smiles or say thank you enough to let someone know we appreciate them. Thank you D.J., other staff and our friendly Uber delivery driver. We will be ordering again😊

My customized chicken alfredo pizza had no alfredo sauce on the pizza! There are air pockets all over the place and that's what made me realize that I had no sauce!! Picking up my order at 7:30 at night after work to come home and see this is totally unacceptable!

Jeremy was very unprofessional should not be telling me 20 min more on a pizza and it ends up being 55 more min total wait time was 1 hour and 25 min for a pizza. This location is going down hill more and more every time I come in

Horrible service. I was given the wrong food and then called a liar when showed them they were wrong. Workers were noticeably intoxicated. They became physically aggressive with me to get me to leave. Manager refused to do anything about it. Pizza places come and go in this area for the same problems so we'll see how long this one lasts. I don't know what they do differently at this location. Pizza is bland with little cheese and few toppings. Definitely needs to used with the garlic sauce

Pizza came incorrectly made and raw, the cheesy sticks were raw as well. Called manager, was told we won’t get a refund, I asked why and she hung up on me. Called back, she picked up the phone and hung up again. Will never go back.

Worst pizza I’ve ever had! I decided to try them again after the previous worst pizza I’ve ever had a year ago from here. They have not change. Manager was rude and hung up on me when I said my pizza came wrong and raw dough. What needs to be done to actually see change at this place? Papa Johns was my favorite my whole life until I moved here and had no choice to order from here. I know it’s just food but it’s unfortunate nothing changes.

Door dash delivery drivers are garbage. Bring back team members to do delivery as they might have a little more pride in the work they do than someone who delivers because they can’t get a real job. The manager working on 3/2 was rude and then called me back and says I can’t order pizza from there any longer. Boo hoo.

Really got to figure out how to package garlic parmesan breadsticks for delivery so that the breadsticks don't arrive in a Box soaked in garlic butter. Tried to call the store put immediately on hold and sat there for 10 minutes. No one ever came to the phone.

My grandson loves their stuff, crust pizza. He think that they make the best pizza the one in Oak Creek.

Do not order from here. They gave me wrong pizza. Manager at night was super rude. After hours on phone w their c/s dept, they insisted they refunded me but my bank says they did not. Have to go through bank dispute. STAY AWAY OR CHECK ORDER BEFORE YOU LEAVE

Ordered a pizza online, originally for 6, had to move it to 6:30. Tried calling at 6:45 for an update, was on hold for more that 15 minutes. Tried calling back, was phone was answered, was told to hold then hung up on not once, but twice. Was charged but order doesn't show up on app for tracking. It's now 7:15 and still have no clue where my order is nor the update. Never again wasting my money here. After trick or treating, kids were hungry and sleepy. I ordered so I didn't have to scramble to make dinner at 7 PM. Update: pizza finally showed at 7:25 after we had already made something to eat.

Papa John's Pizza quality has declined over the years. Because of a coupon special, I gave them another chance. The biggest disappointment is that they no longer use Canadian bacon (smoked pork loin) or even ham (smoked hind leg) but have dropped their quality to tiny sticks of tough picnic (smoked front shoulder). In doing this, they're following the bad trend that started with the pizza company who uses a cartoon Roman character.

These guys did a great job with the pizza and applied a coupon I was unaware of to help with the price. Overall well done!

Absolutely the worst. EVER. I called an order in at 11:15, 7m call and was told 35-45 minutes. It is now 12:53am, I have been on hold with the location for 20m, I tried calling in to place an order just to talk to a live body and cancel the order. All she could do was either transfer me to customer service (no answer), she couldn't cancel the order and could only transfer me back to the location. Simply awful and will be disputing with my CC company. Never never never again.

THEY DO NOT USE GLOVES TO MAKE THE PIZZA! Recently just went to this lovafion and asked for some pepperoncini peppers and the cashier guy literally walked behind the food station to reach his nasty bare hands in the bowl to grabbed it and hand it to me. Just called and asked if they wear gloves while making the pizza ( just to prove to my friend) and the guy said no. I asked why and he stated that he doesn't have time for this and hung up in my face.. THEY ARE NOT SANITARY!!!!

Everyone is coming down pretty harsh on these guys, makes me sad. I used to live two blocks away and ordered from them at least once a month. They have great cheap pizza if you remember to use a coupon. It's a nostalgic dinner for me as it takes 40 minutes round trip to get food from here. Worth it? Not totally out of the question. First of all, not all their pizzas are greasy. If you want a fine example of too greasy go to Toppers or Pizza Hut. That stuff will destroy your guts. Get a thin crust from Papa John, skip the pepperoni and extra cheese. A SMO is way better anyway. If I want the grease I order garlic breadsticks. The. Bomb. I find the flavor of the pizza to be appealing enough to make me come back, and for a cheap take-out I think their sauce is the best. Wings were ok, but I last had those about 4 years ago. Didn't find them spicy enough but they were flavorful. If you prefer a less greasy side, skip the cheesy bread, and just get the original breadsticks. Second best side behind the garlic version. The website has been improved upon since I last used it, again it's been several years. It took all of five minutes to place my order and make a payment. I like that's it's a simple build-your-own set up that starts with crust and cut type, then walks you through to all the topping types. I'm too far away for delivery now, but it was always fast when I lived in Oak Creek. Living two blocks away had its perks. I did pick up often to save time. The parking lot seems to have more room than I remember, probably due to Blockbuster being replaced with a mattress store. Either way it's a win. Will I order from here again? Maybe in another year or so. It's not really easy to keep warm for the entire 25 minute drive home.

I placed my order 2 days prior to when I needed the pizza. I ordered one large pepperoni and one X-large cheese. I even called to confirm that it was received. Day of the party they showed up with only one pizza. The delivery person looked at the receipt and said this was all they were given and left- even though the receipt said 2 pizzas. As soon as he left we called Papa John's. I was put on hold for 10 minutes. After finally getting ahold of someone there was little to no remorse for the mess up, there was no rush or urgency put on this mess up and no compensation either.

I used Grub Hub for the first time and attempted to order a large pizza pepperoni on the whole thing and half banana pepper & mushroom added. I noticed the pepperoni missed immediately and called the store. They put me on hold immediately and I sat for 5 minutes. I hung up and called back and they miraculously were able to talk when I shared what happened and asked for pepperoni, offering to pay more than what they charge for pepperoni. The customer service rep and manager said no, too bad. I shared that it is disappointing to have paid $40 for a pizza and they absolutely refused to help me. I shared it was going to be difficult for me to order from them with such challenging customer service. The rep on the phone said they don't care and don't need my business. I spent years in customer service and see why so many of Papa John locations are closing down, hence why I had to order from Grub Hub as the closest is 30 minutes from home.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Food quality has been going down for years and now customer service is going down as well. I paid a good tip to the driver who forgot my drink he said I'm sorry I will be right back I waited for him to return he did not. Called the store and was told we're not sending him back for a drink. What would you like to do? Second chance I gave them ordered a pizza at 9:57pm. Following the Tracking App, it never moved off of Making, never made it to baking, preparing or delivered. They closed at 12:00pm they would not answer the phone so my husband went there at 11:15 to pick it up and they turned off all of the lights and locked the door on him. Terrible customer service just terrible. Spend your money else where save yourself the headache.The food is equally as bad as the people who work there. I will never order from them again. Loyal customer exists stage left. Good bye forever.

I ordered a large pepperoni pizza for my kid and the girl who took my order said the $9.95 special was for 5 toppings so she couldn't give me that special. lol.... I told her that the special was for up to 5 toppings but she insisted that I was wrong and if I wanted that deal I needed to get 5 toppings. She then proceeded to tell me she could give me an XL pepperoni pizza for $9.95, of which I reluctantly accepted.... another lol..... Nonetheless she was friendly but has only been semi trained in pushing buttons. No disrespect, my first job was at a pizza joint, but managers need to train these kids to think a bit.

Overview - It's a dirtier store that makes the Papa John's pizza you expect. Food 4/5 Customer Service 2.5/5 It's super convenient where it's located, right on Howell near Puetz. Papa John's website and app are very easy to use to order. Food is always yummy (for chain pizza) This locations customer service is ok. They're busy and always seem to be quickly running around. Being so busy, the store isn't pretty. Not so bad that the food is in danger, but it's not neat and polished.

Unbelievable! My friend recently got out of the hospital & did not have groceries, so I suggested he order Pizza from Papa John's & I gave him a coupon. He called & placed his order (shortly after midnight). Then he waited, waited more, waited longer, & nothing, No pizza, No phone call, Nothing! So I suggested he call them, as they were soon to close, (at 1:00am). When he called, they told him, 'they were not bringing his pizzas'. I've never even heard of any pizza place being so INCONSIDERATE & RUDE!!! Now after reading the many negative Yelp reviews for this Papa John's location, (especially those regarding FOOD POISONING), I'm thinking it was a blessing in disguise that they decided not to deliver his pizzas. I'd give this Papa John's location, (8645 S Howell Ave, Oak Creek, WI 53154), a NEGATIVE rating if I could!!!

Greasy pizza. Garlic sauce is pretty delicious, although it is mostly butter. You can always find coupon codes for online ordering, I have never paid full price.

I picked up two large pizzas from this Papa Johns location earlier today. My family and I can honesty say that this was the best pizza we've had in a long time! We've been in this area for over 3 years and this is the first time we enjoyed fresh, delicious pizza. We liked it so much that I called back and asked for the name of the person who made our food so that we can request the same person next time we order from here. We were told that a man named Mike made our pizza so we will definitely ask for Mike every time. Thank you very much Mike!

Ordered deep dish with three toppings delivery came on time but the pizza was burnt and overcooked

Asked for a half and half pizza. Pineapple on the whole thing, chicken on one half, mushroom green pepper on the other. Did not ask for buffalo sauce, but the man who took the phone order put it on the order anyway. Called to let them know and an employee said they can't remake it due to a "miscommunication." He put me on hold for a total of 17 minutes with zero communication to us besides saying "it'll be 20-30 seconds Ill get a manager." It's common courtesy to at least return to the phone and say it'll be longer, as the GM was busy. The only good part of the experience was with the GM, Dan. Apologized many times, refunded us and remade our pizza. Dan did a wonderful job, but his employee was a dimwit.

BEYOND DISAPPOINTED in the Oak Creek location. Aside from the disgraceful service, the food made me sick. Within an hour or so of eating a few slices from here I experienced awful stomach cramps and Exorcist-style vomiting. Funny as I felt just fine earlier in the day. Not wanting anyone else to get sick, I contacted customer service. Do you think anyone bothered to get back to me? That's okay though. Hope Papa John's enjoyed their visit from the local health inspector (Yeah, the health department gets back to people). There are plenty of competitor pizza joints around --- avoid this one! You know, unless you enjoy spending your evening hugging the toilet.

I will never order from this location again. The last two times I ordered, my food came late and made everyone feel sick. The most recent order came about 40 minutes late.. I live 5-10 minutes from the restaurant. I called them twice to find out what was going on. They told me, Oh, the pizza should be on it's way.. that's it.

The staff is always so friendly, the pizza is delicious, prices are awesome and you don't have to wait very long. Love papa johns pizza, best out there! My boyfriend is lactose intolerant and most pizzas are bad for him (because of the cheese of course) But he can eat papa johns pizza and feel just fine. So I do recomend this place a lot! The only reason I didn't give it 5 starts is because I'm not fully convinced on their cleanliness. The place is small and looks clean and in order but sometimes I see staff making pizzas and going on the phone or the computer. Not sure if they desinfect those before hand though.

Most of the time the pizza's here were delicious. However once I got food poisoning very badly and took over a year off from Papa John's. When I returned it was all good again, but than my last order was burnt. I sent a pic and complained, but other than a standard reply, no other response. Probley taking another year off and trying other establishments in the mean time.

nothing like having to go threw corporate to get the free pizza that i was suppose to have gotten 2 months ago they used to have a good crew and my pizza used to be good i pray that when i order again its the way i like it

This pizza is absolutely terrible! Garlic knots were good but the pizza is unforgivable. Sorry Payton, love the commercials but your pizza sucks!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have ordered from this store many times and tonight Curtis (the store manager) decided he would not allow his employees to because he didn't know where we lived. I had him put it in his smart phone to prove we literally live 3 miles away, but he still refused. Awful service.

This is our first time to order food from this place, food was cold soda was flat looks like its expired when it was not, we have contacted them right the way, i had to wait about 10 minutes before i was able to talk to a female manager, refuse to give her name, and after explaining the issue she said i will give you a credit on your account, when i said I would not order again she said Ok bye and hang up on me, i should read and listened to the previous reviews on google and yelp but i thought i should give them i try, I regret it, it was the first time and last time, they really don't care to lose business or not, shame on you Papa Jone's! SHAME ON YOU PAPA JONES! to be very specific about the manager, this order was put on 10/3/2015 about 5 PM, if Papa Jones is a respected company they should go back to this day and see who is the Manager,, by the way Matt the guy answer my call, he knew what I was talking about, it looks like I was not the only call and complaint about the food and the soda, Matt introduced himself , Manager refuse to give her name, what a shame, be aware, any place still better than this place,
