Papa Johns Pizza

Ordered Shaq a Roni pizza with pineapple online and order went thru my card and bank, but when they arrived they wanted cash..Turns out they have Uber deliver their pizzas ..No mention in their website about this. Called the store... spoke to the manager , she said that they will deposited a credit and I need to pay cash... Well I didn't have cash. The Uber driver was upset because he was going to be liable for this. The manager then wanted to take payment over the phone and send me another pizza,but Uber driver would have to dispute the order and charge with the company. Another thing before handing the pizza back I took a Pic because the Shaq a Roni pizza is just a regular pepperoni piza.... very little pepperonis on it.

This location has one kid working all by himself on an extremely busy Saturday night!! Phone is ringing off the hook, lobby is packed with customers waiting and he has been busting his butt unable to even look up and acknowledge a single customer. This is NOT this kids fault! Get it together at this location you are putting this kid in a dangerous situation here by himself and making all your customers angry and unsatisfied.

I order from this store all the time, but tonight I order a large epic stuffed pepperoni and a 8 piece Parmesan wings, I sat here waiting for it and an hour later I was told by door dash they cancelled my order. I called the restaurant and they said they were making it again and sending it to me, I asked him how long he told me 15 min. And it's been over a half hour. So I'm leaving this bad review cuz it's now to late to get my household food cuz we all work early in the morning

Review for Papa John’s I recently placed an order for a cheese pizza, but I received a pepperoni pizza instead. When I called the store to address the mistake, the staff and manager were rude and unhelpful. Instead of offering a solution, they were disrespectful and dismissive of my concern. Mistakes happen, but good customer service matters, and unfortunately, this location failed to provide it. I ordered through DoorDash, and the food arrived pretty fast and fresh. It was exactly how I ordered it and it was really delicious. Don't expect it to be the original italian one because it s fast food but it was really good. We also got a garlic sauce and a jalapeño.

DON'T USE THIS LOCATION!! They use DoorDash and Uber for delivery. Your delivery will take forever to arrive and probably will be messed up. My DoorDash driver was actually carrying my pizza vertically. He's an idiot! My coworker got a delivery the next day and his driver took 47 minutes to get to his hotel because he got lost.

I just attempted to place an order and the guy was extremely rude!! When telling him I wanted to place an order he huffed his breath and sighed..then when I asked TWICE if everything was OK he ignored me completely gave major attitude!!! I left immediately!!

Service is bad and the wait is forever. I understand if there are a lot of orders since a lot of the pizzas get delivered, but this place looks severely understaffed. There were only 1 or 2 people in the store handling all the orders.

The quality, service, and professionalism was outstanding despite handling an overwhelming number of clients the employees remained calm, cool, and collective and the pizza was very tasty Thank you for your impressive customer service today!

Service is extraordinary bad. They make you wait 15 minutes after they tell you yiur order is done. Then another 15 min because they got the first order wrong. Disgusting place with no management whatsoever.

Ordered 1 thin crust Hawaiian pizza, chocolate chip cookie pie and 2 liter mountain dew. It took 1 hour 15 minutes for delivery with Door dash. The pizza was received at around room temperature along with the cookies. The pizza was tasteless bland with almost no toppings. The only good thing was the 2 liter soda. All of this for $38.50 plus a $5 cash tip. NEVER AGAIN!

Very pissed off and upset. Ordered a xl "the meats pizza" only to receive a burnt pizza with little to no meat let alone they must have gotten lazy and just wanted to put cheese in the middle of the damn pizza! Also ordered chicken wings, it was burnt to a fucken crisp thinking they could hide how burnt it was with adding the sauce.

We need to stop ordering from this location. Prices have increased exponentially and quality has decreased! Mostly dough on the pizzas now. Very skimpy on the sauce, cheese and toppings. PAID EXTRA for grilled chicken on my pizza and there is one or two tiny pieces per slice. WOW! We PAID EXTRA for two additional garlic sauces, and neither of the pizzas came with the original sauces. So instead of getting FOUR sauces, we got two. SO DISAPPOINTED right now!!! Ordered a Chicken Alfredo Papa Bowl; no tomatoes and add chicken. This is just fried cheese with a sprinkle of onions, mushroom and chicken. Barely deep enough to cover the very tip of my knife. NOTHING like the full, plump cheesy photos on their website! We will stop ordering from this location and maybe Papa John's all together! So many other options in this town!

I have picked up food here numerous times and 95% of those times the orders were not ready and the employees just hate their jobs and give poor customer service or just ignore you. It doesn't matter if it's lunch time or dinner time. I don't recommend anyone ordering from here

I placed an order over the phone 2 large pizzas. One white pizza with chicken and one all meats. They got delivered alright but they came so sloppy. The box was damaged like the person delivering the food was shaking them around. And the pizza was all messed up. I called back and after waiting for how ever long, and whoever answered the phone sounded rude and annoyed when I didn't even speak to her for long. She informed me that they can't give me my money back or even give me credits so they said that they would just remake the pizza. It's been 2 hours now and I've called numerous times and no one was answering and by the time I got ahold of someone, the person who answered told me that they already remade my order and that they were just waiting for a driver to deliver my order. Now it's been 4 hours and still no pizza!! Im still calling numerous times with 3 different phones and no one is answering any of the calls. One phone is like on hold and all I hear is slamming and children yelling in the background and I'm yelling "Hello!" And no one is responding. So I'm giving this place a very bad review. They don't keep their word and they don't even close till 1am and they just keep you on the phone for hours before you can speak to a manager. No use in speaking to someone at all!

One of the slowest places I have ever been too! There customer service and since of urgency is non existent! DO NOT COME HERE!

COVID review. I got delivery, ordering online was easy but it did take about an hour to get my pizza. Delivery guy had a mask on when I got my order. The pizza was a little on the expensive side for most delivery places. It's taste was a little subpar compared to the new pizzas from other chains. But if you like old school style pizza I think you'll really enjoy papa johns.

Placed an order online. Waited. After an hour and 15 minutes, we worry a little. Ok, let's check the app. OVER TWO AND A HALF HOUR DELIVERY TIME! Ok, well, that seems crazy. You'd think that with OVER TWO AND A HALF HOUR delivery time, they'd at least warn customers before allowing them to make an order. If we had been warned, we would have chosen another place for dinner. Oh well. Let's just call the store and see if maybe this is a conservative estimate. Tried calling. Pressed 5 to speak to a manager. 10 minutes goes by. Call from another phone to "press 3" to place a new order. Maybe that will be faster. Wait. Wait. Wait. Wait some more. Give up. Maybe they'll be less busy in 10-15 minutes. Try calling back. It's now been 2 hours and 7 minutes. No communication. No sign of pizza arriving anytime soon. App says the pizza has been prepared, but it has said that for the last 52 minutes. I guess the 2 hour 30+ minute wait time was an optimistic estimate. I wonder if the pix s will ever come. I guess we are just F'd. So much for papa John's in Las Vegas. Just for reference, I worked at papa johns through high school and college, for over 8 years and loved papa johns pizza. Our college town had great deals to cater to students and I knew all the coupons I could use. Being a broke college kid, I probably ate papa johns 2x a week for many of those years. In my entire life, I have never had such a terrible experience and never have I ever seen someone else, friend of customer, have such a terrible experience with a papa johns location in my life. And this is working and ordering pizzas in the middle of a D1 college town during NCAA game days and other massive events. Not even close. What on earth could possible cause our pizza to take 2 and a half hours at 9pm on a Thursday in vegas when there are no major events going on? At least answer your phones. Just insane. Wish I could give this awful location negative 1,000,000 stars. Trash.

I have ordered from this Papa John's since 2017 when I moved into this apartment. I've always had great service and great food. But all that changed starting last month. Orders wrong or missing items, now their app no longer gives me the delivery option only carry out. Called the store and they gave me a 888 call center number for me to make my order, they wouldn't take my order over the phone. I hope this is seen by management, regional or corporate office and then fix this fast, but I won't hold my breath waiting for that to happen.

Worst pizza ive ever tasted in any papa johns. Over cooked, no sauce. Topping were very bland. Disgusting

Ordered here last night through Uber Eats. The Pizza and Wings were delicious and the Uber Eats driver, Christopher, was great! 100% reccomend!

Normally, i would deliver chain pizza places like this one but I was really impressed by the customer service of the staff that i had to commend them with a review. They staff is very knowledgeable of their menu and their specials, knowing immediately what to recommend and order together. I got the run off the mill pepperoni cheese pizza and it's Papa John's so the taste wasn't lacking but what really stood out for me was the service. They were also really fast and efficient given that it was mildly busy

Food was barely eatable. Pizza cold no flavor. Cheese stick cold no seasoning whatsoever. When ordering on the app it says delivery to your door. When the food finally arrived I was then informed it was being delivered from door dash and they could not bring it in at all we must meet them by valet parking. Staying on the 38th floor in my hotel, so to get to valet parking is a decent 15 minutes by foot. I ordered pizza for convenience, I received sub par food and inconvenience. Should have skipped and stuck with a hotel restaurant atleast it would have been fresh.

Employees look SUPER DIRTY, like they haven't showered in months. I went to pick up carry out, picked it up, grossed out came home and trashed the pizza. Total waste of money . Clothes the cooks were wearing were filthy!!!!!!!!!

I don't know what these people are doing, but they're doing it right. We were on vacation and needed a quick family meal. We ordered a couple of pizzas and some cheese bread and omg it was so delicious! It even smelled amazing. Normally these chain restaurants are just okay, but this place was above any Papa Johns I've ever been to. In fact, when we got back home to CA, we ordered the exact same order from our local Papa Johns and we were disappointed. This place is great.

Placed and order last night online. Let's start with the positive. The chicken nuggets were great as well as the Papadias. Now the bad part. Once placed it said 34 to 44 minutes. Took over an hour and 15 minutes. Ordered an extra BBQ sauce and did not receive. Ordered the Ultimate Pepperoni & onion. Still trying to find the pepperoni and I work in the food industry, but the onion should be peeled, you don't put the peel in the pizza. About gagged. Also, the pizza looked like it had been run thru the oven 3 times. Really burnt. Last thing, it was way salty with some kind of seasoning that was smothered on it. Worst pizza I ever had.

The Male on Sunday night at 9pm on 08-29-2021 location 5045 W Tropicana Ave Suite 101 gave rude attitude dirty looks and all honesty looked like he hated his job and didn't want to be there I was just trying to order pizza and INSTEAD LEFT because I didn't want my pizza made by an angry person then as I was leaving and I barley made it out, he locked the door quickly and went way to the back to probably not let other customers in, I went to Pizza Hut instead.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Hands down the worst, and I mean absolute WORST customer service ever. My wait time was told to be a maximum of 29 minutes. Well, 45 minutes later and they hadn't even started my order yet. The employees were so incredibly rude and the manager, Christian, couldn't even say two words. I comprehend things can get busy, however, don't forget customer service. I just asked for my money back. I paid $27 (including tip) and they kept the tip money...

If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered a pizza with a coupon I received because a past order was messed up and that was their way of making it up. Anyways, the pizza was never delivered even though it said it was. I called about 10 times. Half the times I got transferred the other half they just let the phone ring. I got frustrated and made the drive to the location. I explained to the person at the register what happened. They went to the back to inform the manager. Took about 10 mins for the manager to come out. He was pleasant but very unprofessional and unsanitary. He looked up my order on the register and claimed that a door dash person picked it up. He offered to remake the pizza for me. He got off the register, wiped his bare hands on his pants and picked up a ball of dough from a tray that was literally sitting on the floor uncovered and started making my pizza. I walked out! Never again

I ordered the New York pizza. do not order this,the pizza was not New York style at all!! it boasts on the commercial you can fold it or not the truth is the crust was so thick the pizza drooped downwards and way too much bread I ordered it with 2 toppings so it was not due to too many toppings. The flavor was about the same as all chain pizza places not bad but nothing special either. So very disappointed at what I got for the price !!!! Frank's is cheaper and a million times better no more trying new things at Papa Johns I am always always always disappointed if I could give 0 stars that is what they would get

I like Papa John's Pizza so it is easy to give them 3 stars. But I would consider this a strong 2, weak 3. The large pizzas seem like they have gotten smaller. But the choice of specialty pizzas they offer more up for it. If you can catch a special deal like I did - Any large pizza for $11.00 with up to 5 toppings or any specialty pizza - it can almost make up for the lack of size. Almost. I had originally called to place my order for delivery for 16 pizzas but when they told me it would be an hour and half, I said forget it. I will pick it up. They told me they would be ready in 45 minutes to 1 hour. I was there in probably 40 minutes and they were all ready, waiting for me. My only gripe is I tipped them $10. I know this is not much on a $190 order but I was picking it up and they didn't have to do anything but their job. So when I asked for some extra paper plates, bags, and condiments - to me it should not have been a big deal. And then if their customer service was up to par, one of the associates should have asked me if I needed help carrying out 16 pizzas to my vehicle. But nope, not one soul did. They just watched me come in and out, over and over again. So, if I wasn't a big fan of the quality of the pizza, yes this would be a two star review. They need better management in this place to enforce better customer service.

The guy who came in the rain was so super nice. Very polite, courteous. Highly nice behavior. he is really caring and he said No one has given the amount of tips. They could adjust in the Order for Veggie Pizza without Mushroom and add jalapenos- they did a great Job. Normally i go to PIzza Hut:) whereas my family likes Papa Johns:) Amazing both of them are good:) Total was 35.86 for one person. Wanted to send long back for these people. Forgot to take the person who helped me on the phone nor the delivery- we have to find a way to recognize them.

Omg! Gross! We ordered pizza and chicken wings, we noticed that one of the workers who turns out to be the manager is wearing a bandage wrapped around her hand (Rita). We continued watching her go from the register to prepping Pizza. I asked her why she was prepping food without a glove. She said "well I have a bandage it's better than the open wound". She claimed that she had been watching her hands all day long. However her bandage looked filthy on the bottom. It was a Coban wrap.. by the way it looked, there was no way she had even washed her hands with that wrap. We asked her why she wouldn't wear a glove and she said she didn't think it was mandatory. I hope no one gets sick from eating there. We got our money back and couldn't get out of there fast enough! Gross gross gross!

Until yesterday, I'd never had a bad experience with this location. I've been sick, and in a LOT of pain for the last 3 days. Yesterday, I decided that ordering a pizza would be comforting, and help me fall asleep after I ate. So, I ordered online, like always, and was quoted a 30-40 minute wait time. 55 minutes later, I called to find out where my food was. The kid who answered the phone said "Oh, its been sitting here ready, but I only have one driver, so I'm waiting for him to get back." Me: "So...my pizza has been sitting there for an hour, and its going to get here cold." Him: "Well, no. Its been sitting for 30 minutes." WELL EXCUSE ME. Its still going to be cold when it gets here, you idiot. What gets me, is that I didn't even get an APOLOGY. I told him to cancel the order, AND I submitted a complaint on the PJ's website. Ordered online from Pizza Hut and had my food within 20 minutes or so. Never again, not if I can help it.

In the past 2 years ive ordered pizza from this location because I like the pizza but unfortunately are stuck with this dirty, no customer service having, manager is a fool, delivery time lying a$$ pizza place. Im still waiting for my refund from March 16th 2021 from the manager Michael. Im done with papa jonhs purely because of this location. Ehh

I ordered pizza online. It showed an estimated delivery time of 30-40 min. When it had been an hour with no pizza I called the store to find out what the problem was. Jose answered the phone and gave me a whole bunch of excuses about why they couldn't call the driver or find out what was happening. When I pushed him for a reason we were going to have cold stale pizza he said he would talk to his manager. After a few more minutes on hold he came back o the line with a bunch of excuses about why they weren't going to do anything to help. They didn't care about customer service, the quality of their pizza, or the fact that I had a starving family waiting for dinner. The manager didn't even bother to get on the line and talk to me themselves. I will never order from them again and reccomend you find a better place to order from.

Can I give zero stars???? I'm extremely disappointed and outraged with Papa Johns tonight. I often order pizza from them but this was definitely the last time. Never again! I placed my order at 9:20 ish pm, the pizza didn't arrive until 10:55 pm. I had already called the store to check if I was even getting my order tonight. I could've gotten passed that, if my pizza wasn't cold, with the crust already super hard, and them not sending the dressings I paid for! I ordered 2 extra ranch dressings and 2 of the spicy garlic (I really wanted to try this one). And they would've been really helpful getting me to swallow this hard, cold pizza... I'm currently attempting to eat the pizza because I'm famished, so I'm not gonna ask for my money back, but can I please have the money back for those extra dressings I didn't get??? I know it's not a lot of money, but it's the principle of this horrible experience! Oh and just FYI I live less than 5 min away from the store!!! And yes you could ask me why didn't I pick up the pizza then? Carry out it's even cheaper. But I had work to do, and a deadline to make so I couldn't leave... Maybe the drivers should be by themselves. Maybe that would help them focus and get to places faster.

Papa John's pizza is definitely a change from the normal Pizza Hut or Domino's. But it's also not the best pizza I've ever had. I always get delivery, which has been spot on. Even at times better than Pizza Hut. But I have had hit and miss with this place. My last order I didn't even get what I ordered. The best thing about Papa John's is that they are open late at night past midnight.

The worst delivery ever, they were delayed and the girl left the pizzas 5 houses down street, I saw her but she didn't look at me, in my order I put to call me when delivery and she didn't do it . I call back to the store, talked to the manager and didn't help me. They best solution was to reorder and wait more than an hour again. Worst worst worst

It was incredibly difficult to order. Got sent to a call center where the guy told me all the papa John's were closed and that they close at 11pm which isn't true and on top of that it was only 8:30. After I told him that it was only 8:30 he put me on hold and said he was going to check the papa John's website and I waited about 10 minutes before I decided to hang up and order Dominos. I've never had so much difficulty ordering a pizza. Bad papa John's.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! Should be on dirty dining special!!! Worst experience I've ever had ordering anything from anyone EVER!! Took over an hour and a half for the driver to get to our house... and when he arrived he sat in his car for 7 minutes as we were waiting with the door open watching him on his phone... after I had to walk up to the car and wave him over and still he would not get out of his car!! After getting out of his car he argued with us about how he had been there for 20 minutes trying to get ahold of us, and he was arguing with us about how doorbells and cell phones work instead of just handing us the pizza and taking the money he walked away and said we cant have our order anymore and was extremely rude to us as if we were in the wrong for wanting what we ordered. I STRONGLY! Recommend EVERYONE! To stay away from this poorly managed pizza place!!! The driver said his name was deandre I think and the assistant manager refused to give her name and said I couldnt speak with a GM for another 2 weeks for some odd reason... WORST PIZZA PLACE EVER!!!!!! DO NOT EAT FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!

I ordered 3 pizzas for my crew to be delivered at 12:00 when the guys take their lunch. I dont know what the point of setting a delivery time is when they dont adhere to it. I mean look delivering a freakin pizza isn't rocket science. It's 30 min past delivery time, my guys break is over and there's no pizza.

I think these guys do a great job. We ordered a pizza and we loved it. We will definitely come back next time we will be in Vegas

Coupon over the phone! Order "well done" so that crust is not too doughy. Friendly service -- I can hear their smiles over the phone. Went to pick up pizza since I didn't know where the heck I was-- that's vegas for you... Messes with your memory... And the Cashier person showed me my order- opened each box to make sure! Love that! The friendly who took my order also said hello again! All smiles and bubbles! Will order again I'm sure! In plaza next to Denny's.

Order here a couple of times already pretty good pizza. I mean for a Americanized Italian pizza. No problems like I've seen on the other reviews. Took a pic of half the pizza with the box. And there wasn't extreme grease on it. But other than that Papa Johns is great for a fast to eat pizza especially for game days!

Sucks to get two Small Pizzas when you ordered 2 Mediums. And to add fuel to the fire, it was overloaded with sauce barely drizzled with cheese. I will drive farther out next time. This location isn't worth it.

Hey great service out of this location. From the guy who took my order and was very good at it, to the driver who called me 15mins in advance 2 give me a heads up and called again when he got to my hotel at the nobu. I am a former papa johns GM and i must say Bacon cheese burger pizza was a solid 9.5 on the pizza grade scale. Great job guys. Very impressed. Keep it up.

:( I just want to apologize to my GF real quick on the two stars because she loves this place and I just can't do it. Up until a couple of weeks ago I hadn't had Papa Johns in about 10 years. I've never been a fan and always preferred Pizza Hut. The quality of ingredients is better. Anyway, she suckered me into giving it a chance and I can't say I'm impressed. There were so many ingredients but I still felt like it was bland in a way...nothing too special about it. They're also a bit overpriced in my opinion.

Do not order from here. After waiting over an hour and 45 minutes for my order I called the store and asked what was going on. 1. I was told my order was given to a store across town. Then when I asked to speak to the manager he told he changed it to a carry out order. When I asked him why I was not called he got very rude and started getting upset saying it was my fault. I asked for his District managers number and he refused and hung up on me. I did manage to get it, and will also be contacting him as well.

I'm giving this a 2 star review because we usually love the pizza l, but the service from this location is just subpar. We waiting an hour and a half for a delivery less than 10 minutes away from the store. I do understand that things take time and things can pop up beyond the control of the driver but that was too long. We called to check the order twice and were given no explanations of our order, only confusion. No one seemed to know where our order was or if it had even indeed gone out for delivery. We had the order cancelled and refunded after wasting a good chuck of our evening before my fiance left for his over night shift. Extremely disappointed. Definitely would not try again for delivery.

What happened was never the greatest pizza but now The most disgusting nasty ass pizza I've had in years under cooked no quality no taste everybody in the location running around with their heads chopped off terrible service on hold for 22 minutes what a disappointment never again this is the Tropicana and Decatur location what a disappointment

Called to place an order for deliver 26 minutes ago. After 12 minutes, someone picked up and asked for my number and address and said they needed to verify they could deliver here (2.6 miles from my house). Waited an additional 15 minutes for them to tell me that they were confused about the address and they stated that is what took them so long with plenty of attitude. Asked to speak with the manager (Jessica) to ask what the deal was and she was shocked stating that they weren't even busy at all and that she didn't know this was occurring. Bottom line, looks like the staff are a bunch of kids who just don't care about their jobs enough to perform them even half ass. Obviously will not be sending them any business just on principle alone,

In addition to the wildly inaccurate and inconsistent estimated delivery times that I mentioned in my original review, on our last two orders, there were no sauces included. Not a single one! Lack of garlic dipping sauce (especially when I made sure to mention it specifically) makes for a sad Katie and coworkers when all we wanted was to split some cheesesticks. Fortunately some of our other coworkers took pity and let us trade some bland cheesesticks for some of their pizza, but that is no redemption for this Papa John's franchise. Don't know if it's just lack of care by the people running this operation or something more sinister, but this Papa John's has moved from 'avoid if possible' status to 'absolutely do not patronize'.

Ordered from here twice both times pizzas are cold and doughy. Managers aren't the nicest either.
