Local mom and pop eatery using quality ingredients. I started with an Amber beer on tap which was perfect; Hubby ordered a Mexican Coke. My hubby started with the Albondigas soup and, having eaten it at many Mexican restaurants, said it was done right. We shared the Goat to Pizza, which was unique (think pizza with spinach, goat cheese sundried tomatoes and thinly sliced lemons. Yes, lemons.) Delicious. NOTE, this is brick fired and 10 inch. Highly recommend. We ended the meal with the espresso bean Gelato. So yummy and a perfect soft consistency. We may have found our fave in Ojai. Next time we come, we will dine in the cute outdoor courtyard.

One of the best pizza we ever had!!! We ordered 3 pizzas and they were all delicious 😋 Our most favorite was Mediterranean pizza. White Sauce and marinara sauce both were good...I like their patio ambience..lots of green in outdoor seating. I wll definitely recommend this place.

Family-owned casual cafe a little ways out of downtown with an interesting “locals” feel. Delicious Caesar salad with lots of garlic, sandwich with a fried egg. Yumm! We sat in outside shaded patio. Delightful.

Looove the Greek salad and garlic fries and the outside atmosphere! One of my favorite places to go in Ojai!

It's like a good place for 1st date the eating areas ate inside or patio and even one table for 2 out by side walk , it doesn't have waiters no free refill on soft drinks or no complimentary bread rolls, I had spaghetti and meat balls it was ok kinda like from the can, my son had chicken Alfredo he enjoyed it he sed the chicken portion in his plate was generous and good.. it's diffrent mostly good atmosphere and alot of beautiful trees and old places to see in the Ojai valley

Best pizza in the area! I went for pasta but pizza stole the show! Meatballs were hard and I wasn't able to enjoy them but the red sauce had good flavor. Pasta Primavera was delicious and had perfectly cooked veggies and noodles. And the Beet Nick salad was enough for 4 people to share but a little scarce on the beets. We Loved the "Lennonade" refreshing and different. The seating on the patio was lovely. I love the ability to get the condiments, extra plates and utensils but not a huge fan of bussing my own table after. Tipping well each visit I feel includes service to the tables but I guess I'm old fashioned. Or just old idk lol Will continue to visit, and enjoy the food, especially the pizzas!

Paying for atmosphere cos food here is less decent than Olive Garden. I come out to not cook but could have made this pasta better at home :( Pizza looks so mediocre too. Pomodoro tomatoes should be DICED - not so chunky.

The food is great, and the desserts are delicious. You can't make a wrong choice when picking something to eat or drink. The only drawback is the bugs when dinning outside they should add a liner or an incense to ward off flies.

Had an amazing Father's Day with family! Excellent pizza, sandwiches, and salads. The severs are nice. They have an amazing shady outdoor seating area. We will come back often.

The pizza was great and I was SO happy they offer vegan and gluten-free options. The patio is a beautiful, relaxing space with shade trees and a fountain and the service was friendly and welcoming! I will be back! :)

Came here for dinner with friends who are regulars here. The cashier was very friendly and helpful with suggestions, since I had not been here before. I order the primavera pasta with rosemary chicken and pesto cream sauce, as well as a piece of garlic bread. The pasta was tasty and a huge portion but the chicken was a bit dry. Next time, I think I would order pizza as others in my group did and it looked delicious. There is limited seating inside but we were able to snag a table before our food arrived. Additional seating options are available on the patio but it was a bit too cold on that particular evening. The place is casual and prices were reasonable given how pricey some of the places in Ojai can be. They had some really great sounding desserts, which I will have to save room for in the future.

My coworkers and I came here on a gloomy tuesday so that we might joint together in communio and conviviality. We all thoroughly enjoyed the large serving sizes, especially our fat friend Max. Despite the weather, the flavors uplifted our stomachs. But spite the weather the ambiance was not as good as it could be, but I guess they can't control that. To sum up how we felt about this place, my friend Michael gives a thumbs up as he burps and says " that was a burp by the way". So yes, I recommend coming here.

I absolutely love Papa Lennon's! I am vegan and am always excited to see non dairy cheese options at a pizzeria. The pizza was so yummy! I also got their strawberry lemonade, which is their lemonade with a scoop of strawberry gelato. It was so incredibly delicious I cannot emphasize that enough. The courtyard space is so cute and makes for a great dining experience. It's a must visit whenever I head up to Ojai from Ventura!

I wish I took more pictures because this place is adorable!! The service is top notch!! The food spectacular!!! I did however get a picture of my Chicken Brie Panini!! To die for!!!

They have indoor and outdoor seating, but the back little patio area is really sweet with tea lights, a fountain and lots of greenery. It's very pretty at night and has heaters. You choose from the menu at the front and then find your table. We had their chicken Alfredo which was large and good, the sausage and pepperoni pizza (I can't remember its actual name) and the beatnik salad, which was great. For a casual place to visit this is a great option.

Overall one of the best outdoor eateries by a good distance. The menu is diverse and has a lot of "choose your own options" that lets you specify your dish. Service was also quick and efficient, but personable at the same time. Super stoked about this place and excited to eat here again soon!

Delicious food in a laid back charming restaurant. You order at the counter and then it's delivered to your table. There are healthy options, generous portions and they have a pet friendly patio.

Fantastic Beat-nik salad and very good Capresi Appetizer, and Fettucini Alfredo was superb. Provided a small container of grated cheese, balsamic vinegar mix also. Definitely will be back. Thank you!

Good was just ok , had pizza not much flavor in the sauce, and no black olives only Kalamata olives very salty . But the Gelato was delicious! I would go back for the gelato.

Surprisingly, it wasn't too busy on Halloween night, which was a pleasant surprise. We sat outside, and the vibes were perfect! I ordered the Caesar salad, margherita pizza, and pasta pomodoro. The Caesar salad was definitely the standout, but the pizza and pasta were enjoyable too. I highly recommend their lemonade with a scoop of sorbet--it was the highlight of my meal!

delicious pizza, sandwiches, salads, and more! I've only ever had it delivered but it's always been hot upon arrival! i wish i could eat here 20 times a week! please try the crème brûlée if you're considering it

Consistently delicious food and arguably the BEST French fries in the valley. Great artisan pizzas and pasta dishes as well as a great wine and beer selection.

We just moved to Ojai and asked the neighbors for a dinner recommendation. It ended us at Papa Lennon's and boy were we happy about it! It was a quick 10 minute drive from our new house. The front was super cute and welcoming. There was parking right across the street. We arrived around 5:45 and there were a few open seats on the patio; a moderate hustle and bustle of people enjoying a local favorite spot. There was a small party outdoors at one of the long tables and lots of other friends and families getting together. Every dish that was brought out was beautiful, smelled fantastic and was absolutely fresh looking. I'm sure there is no way to go wrong here since all the ingredients are so fresh and the food is clean. I had the vegetable panini which was bomb. The focaccia bread here is a must. The side salad with honey vinaigrette was a yummy treat as well. My fiancé had the bbq chicken pizza and was astounded by how fresh the ingredients felt and tasted. My father in law had the meatball sub which he said could have had a little more flavor but still delicious. The fries were great. My mother in law had the chicken vegetable soup which came out right away, and all of us were mouth watering over it. It smelled and tasted delicious. That's a must order when I come back next time. We weren't sure how things worked here. So we walked in and quickly gathered it was an order and then sit kind of restaurant. So we went to the vine walled patio (which was super pleasant and warmed with heaters) and got a table while one of us ordered at the front. Then our food came out one by one at different times. The vegetable panini took the longest, arriving about 5 minutes after the preceding dish (the meatball sub and bbq pizza). Well worth the wait though. I can't wait to come back here :) it's a special spot.

service is horrible. Food is not freshly prepared as they state and the service is horrible expecially the bigger girls that stand at the cash register ringing you up. Could they be any less engaged? Treat guest badly. Horrible experience I am local but will not be back. Take your money elsewhere and avoid the poor ambiance

Love the salads and pizza here. Great patio area as well. Not giving 5 stars just because I wish I could customize the pizza more.

Always on the hunt for a good panini sandwich, unfortunately this was not it- the chicken was tough, overcooked and in big chunks instead of sliced, piled high making it difficult to eat-the lettuce side salad dressing was very good-my hunt continues-

Just left papas right now! I gotta say one thing... I've been going there for years and years now. Tonight's dinner which was Da Bomb pizza, chicken soup, and the breezer salad was so damn good. I never leave reviews, but they deserve it. Always killing it and pumping out great food! Staff are super awesome too.

The food is amazing and so is the chai tea. I love basically everything I try here. The prices are high but they are worth it! The only issues can be that it gets very busy so you need to be patient with the employees, and it can get low on seating. The inside of the restaurant and the patio are really nice. It's wonderful to eat outside here when the weather is warm at night.

We found them on Yelp looking for a dog friendly restaurant near Ojai. Most in our party liked their meals and the dogs liked the patio. Warning: the bread that the sandwiches come on is not a plain type of bread.

Great food as always... been here plenty of times and I haven't been disappointed yet. Beetnik salad is my fav, bc I love beet salads. But I've had the pastas, pizzas, sandwiches. All tasty. I haven't tried desert, they have creme brulee which is my favorite. So when I'm back I will. It's a small space inside. But has a small cute bar top, maybe 6 seats. A few tables only and a large one to share. Outside patio with heaters and a water fountain... very pretty outside. Maybe a jacket still depending on time of day.

Great combinations of veggies and pepperoni and sauces. Mediterranean pizza, veggie and awesome mix on a pesto bed. Crust light, veggies crisp! The Beatnik Salad is so flavorful with goat cheese, fresh beets and mixed field greens. Enjoy it all with a glass of Pinot Grigio, nothing fancy, but you'll leave full of good food. 100% recommendation! No waiters, you are on your own, quit your whining, this is where locals eat and recommend!

We had lunch here last week, maybe our 6-7th time, and the service and food has always been consistently awesome. We have only ordered the Rosemary Chicken sandwich and meatball sub. First, chicken sandwich on fresh focaccia, housemade pesto, generous fresh greens, tomatoes, cheese and turkey cooked naturally (ie not sliced from a ball of meat) is bomb! Not to mention the side salad with mixed greens, green apple, walnuts and Gorgonzola is also excellent - and it's included - not an extra add! Meatball sub is authentic and served with freshly cut fries. Nice patio seating too. Local gem!

As I drove through Ojai, I came across this cute small hole in the wall restaurant. As I walked in, I was greeted by 2 of their friendly staff members. The inside was quaint with a few tables and the outside patio provided additional seating with sufficient shade from the trees. The menu had a good variety of appetizers, sandwiches, pasta and pizza. I ordered an oven roasted chicken with French Brie panini, that included a side salad, and it did not disappoint! Their focaccia bread was warm and soft and was seasoned perfectly with a layer of garlic aioli. The chicken was nice and tender, and with the melted Brie cheese and fresh cucumbers, this panini hit the spot. The Cesar salad had nice fresh crisp romaine lettuce with just the right seasoned dressing. The lemonade had a scoop of their raspberry gelato that was more on the sweet side, but still good. This place is like a small mom and pop shop where they take pride in their food by presenting it with quality ingredients. I will definitely be back to try their pasta and pizza.

I love their salads, their gluten-free pizza, not so much I have yet to find a decent gluten-free crust at a local restaurant.

The gluten free pizza was great and the crust was not the usual thin disc of gluten free who-knows-what! If you're gluten free, you know what I mean. Also the salad was large and delicious. The outdoor seating felt like we were in a private garden. Plus the helpful staff got me through the ordering process expertly. Perfect meal to recharge after hiking Oso and crossing the river.

Great food and service, extremely reasonable price and such a cute place. They have gluten free pasta that is safely prepared in separate water, celiac safe! My favorite thing to get here is gluten free pasta with butter, parm, and blackened chicken delicious. My boyfriend loves the Hawaiian pizza and meatball sub

Everyone can eat here! My vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, and omnivore friends can all enjoy delicious food in a beautiful outdoor setting. This has quickly become a place I bring friends who are seeing Ojai both for the first time or again with fresh eyes. If I'm with friends, I'll split a pizza or two. If I'm dining out or alone I often order the beetnik salad. The rosemary chicken panini is glorious, and whenever I order I always get garlic fries on the side. I couldn't recommend it more.

This is pizza done right. Out in the rural town of Meiners Oaks, I wasn't expecting to find such fine food, but we were rewarded with some of the best pizza we've ever had. The toppings were fresh and plentiful, and the crust was toasty. The two pizzas disappeared quickly in front of our eyes. The salad did not disappoint either. There were an abundance of nuts and cranberries that provided a complexity of texture and taste to the leafy greens. The vinaigrette dressing went well with the whole concoction. I can't comment on the service because we took it to go to enjoy on the deck of our Airbnb while watching the glorious sunset in Ojai.

Absolutely incredible! First time here and will definitely be returning. The pizza was sooooooo good. And reminded me of a pizza I had when I was a kid. Their ice cream was delicious! As was the side salad I got! Dressing was flavorful and they did not skimp on the dressing at all (which I love) Reasonably priced especially for Ojai. If you're looking for a nice outdoorsy pizza place, this is it

Great pasta, pizza and salad options with friendly staff. Definitely a family friendly environment, too. The outdoor patio a lovely and dog friendly. Ooooh and their gelato is outstanding.

Papa Lennons is possibly the best pizza in Ventura County. The pizza is very high quality and reasonably priced for what it is.

Having been away from Ojai/Mainer's Oaks for a while, and coming back after about 10 years to camp at Lake Casitas, I was so happy to find that Papa Lennon's Pizzeria was still there! We had an absolutely delicious meal in such a charming and comfortable atmosphere! What a delight to return to a favorite spot for fresh ingredients, and delicious dishes, with an incredibly kind and welcoming staff! BRAVO toPapa Lennon's!

I had overheard 3 workers belittling this young girl who was picking up food and raising their voices to her. Very rude workers. Do better. Will never support this business again.

Our go to for salads and specialty sandwiches. We usually go for a half house salad with honey vinaigrette and a Brie or caprese salad. Our boys like to get a pizza or spaghetti. A nice place to pick up a little of everything.

Highly recommended if you're in the Ojai area. The rosemary chicken and the caprese panini were very delicious. Greek salad was very tasty and full of flavor. Pizzas are Italian style. I definitely be back.

It's seems like every time we get an order to go, something is missing. The salads also are mostly lettuce with a small amount of whatever else is supposed to be on it. They also need to answer the phone during business hours.
