"A FiDi noodle shop offering two styles of noodle bowls and two sides—an intentionally tight menu that reflects owner Jay Zhang's work to perfect his recipes. Tablehopper calls the Papa Noodle dish "a sort of love child of zha jian mian and Sichuan dan dan noodles," signaling a serious, carefully tuned approach to its preparations." - Dianne de Guzman

Very authentic Chinese food! The portions are huge and the prices are very reasonable. The environment is great, and the service is really friendly. My favorites are the sesame sauce noodles, beef noodles, and skewers — they’re absolutely delicious!! The location is also super convenient, right outside Holborn Station. I’ll definitely come again next time:)))

Lanzhou Hand-Pulled Noodles Review: The noodles are incredibly fresh and chewy, hand-pulled right before your eyes. The beef broth is rich and aromatic, with tender slices of beef and a hint of radish. Service is quick, and the ambiance is cozy. A truly authentic taste of Northwestern China! Highly recommend!

We went here for a work lunch and the service was excellent, from the smooth ordering process- each table has its own Qcode allowing for online orders and payment, to the quick service, and finally to the wonderfully flavoured food. We tried starters, prawns and chicken- great for sharing and full of flavoir, and the mains- the hand pulled noodles and brisket beef were exceptional, the thick noodles were slightly doughy but the egg fried rice was delicious! They were not offering hot teas at the moment, bit hoping they reintroduce them for the winter season. I would definitely recommend and of there is a wait, tables do become available quite quickly.

Brought the braised beef brisket noodles, there was very little meat and no pak choi in the dish, yet advertised in picture. The soup was flavourful though noticeable had lots of oil. Service was fast and the food came very quickly. Overall experience is good but not amazing, and rated as such.

Tried their signature beef soup noodles – really tasty and comforting. The grilled lamb skewers were spot on and the coconut milk drink got paired good with the meal. Overall, a good experience!

Delicious!!! 😋 Mine and my friends noodles were amazing, absolutely loved it! And the survive was brilliant, thank you! I got beef noodles, (I don't eat onions, so had them removed) I can't remember exactly what it was called on the menu, however the flavour was sooo good! Full of flavour, just perfect. My friend got noodles in broth, again I don't know which one, but omg that broth was delicious! It's been weeks since I've been, and I can't stop thinking about it, I'm definitely returning.

Had such a great time at Papa Noodle in Holborn. The place has a really nice, relaxed vibe and the staff were super friendly and quick to help with anything we needed. Ordering is done through a QR code on your phone which made things easy, and food came out surprisingly fast. I went for the beef noodles and they were honestly delicious. The beef was really well seasoned, tender, and had just the right kick of spice. Enough to feel it but not so much that it takes over the whole dish. The noodles themselves were spot on, soft but with a good bite to them and not mushy at all. Once I mixed the sauce through properly it coated everything nicely, and there was a good balance of flavours. A bit of pak choi in there too which added a nice touch, though I would not have minded a bit more veg overall. For me the spice level was just right. I am used to proper Asian spice like a real Thai green curry made local style, and this still had a solid bit of heat without being overwhelming. Paired with quick service and a chilled atmosphere it made the whole meal feel really enjoyable and easy. I went with a friend and we both left really happy. Tasty food, fast service, good atmosphere. Definitely a spot I would come back to when I am in the area and craving noodles.

Atmosphere was fine, service was fine though they didn’t really do much beyond their role’s regular responsibilities. Braised beef hot oil noodles were yummy and flavoursome. Sweet and sour cucumber side dish was refreshing too. Extra points for being Halal friendly! Chilled place, but felt dishonest to have customers order online and pay a 12.5% service charge you can’t even choose to take off, for service that was just bare minimum.
