Papa Romano's Pizza & Mr. Pita

Spent $70 on pizza and bread on 1 order. Cheese bread was burnt beyond belief. 2 pizzas out of 4 the crusts were burnt. How could someone knowledgeable in pizza send that out the door? Owner says "oh I'm being nice by replacing it" forget this place. Will never waste my money here again. Second time something got burnt. I recommend people to drive a little further to maybe the one at 9 mile and gratiot at least they offer something in return for their mess up! Very unprofessional owner.

I had to leave a review after I ordered a hungry Howie's pizza a few weeks back and threw it out after one bite. Don't look anywhere else in grosse pointe for pizza , come here for quality. Not to mention they fixed their website so they can deliver in grosse pointe park. Hands down best pizza joint in the area.

This place has the best pizza around, and for a good price! The young folks working there are nice, I always enjoy chit chatting with them while the pizza bakes. FYI it’s not a restaurant, it’s takeout only.

I haven't had Papa Romano's since last millenia. And it's GREAT! The pizza was fantastic, the Bambino bread was PHENOMENAL, the cinnamon sticks tasted like a cinnamon roll! The staff was friendly, polite, professional and verified my order before I left. I'll be back!

I ordered an Italian Sub, chase took my order. When I got home my sub was cold and bread extremely hard. I tried calling the store bit there was no answer. I went back to the store and encountered Yvonne. She said that I asked for it cold. Chase came to the front and he said that the subs automatically ring up cold. Yvonne told him that wasn't true and he walked away. In the midst of Yvonne trying to resolve my issue, Chase went to get pizzas out the oven. There was a lobby full of people but he kept stopping to text on his phone. He stopped boxing this single pizza 6 times to text. Yvonne asked him to stop texting b/c there was a lobby full of people. He said the pizzas are in the oven and he didn't have anything else to do. I said you haven't even stated to remake and correct my order. Chase waived me off with his hand and stated, "man, I'm not thinking about that sub!" Very inappropriate since he is the reason why I had to drive back here. Very unprofessional and unacceptable. Chase needs additional training and probably another job that does not require much intelligence and where he will not encounter the public.

Called at 9:30pm. Closes at 10pm on a Sat. I got my pizza and bread because web site says open until12am. So happy girl stayed open for me and made me my food last minute. I am very thankful. Great place. Needs to change hours tho plz

I ordered a pizza online at 6:40. Went to pick it up. Did not look for an email. The store had no record of my 34$ purchase. I went back home, printed the email, called the store- "you have an email but no confirmation number, the sale didn't go through." I went back to the store with the email. They did make the pizza, and I left the store about 7:30, after two trips. The pizza tasted good, but it wasn't worth two trips, and a pizza joint that can't figure out on line orders. Let's see how they resolve this problem. an apology? discount? credit? training of the staff? Whose responsibility to get orders right and on time is it? the customer or the staff and the owners? This location is bad. closest to this store- buddys, little ceasers, dominos, licavolis, ferlitos, , all on mack within a mile of this place. I think back to Buddy's- great pizza, salads, online. no more papa romano's.

2 stars for cold breadsticks... Pizza hot, breadsticks were cold. When I called the next day to find out if breadsticks were made to order, I was told yes. Young man had on a tank top. He looked as though he was at home instead of at work. I asked about the cross street/ address, and he said " I dont know." Waste of time explaining the unprofessional appearance and tone so I didn't bother.
