We had great time at Papadakis. It was our last day in Athens and we couldn’t have a better dinner experience. The food was excellent, beautiful taste and presentation. Service was immaculate and ambiance - cosy and relaxing. High five to the whole team of Papadakis! ❤️

Papadakis is truly one of the institutions of Athens when it comes to seafood. I first discovered it through recommendations from several local friends, and since then I have visited the restaurant three or four times, and each time the experience has been consistently excellent. The service is always warm, welcoming and very professional, and the team makes you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive, creating a relaxed yet refined atmosphere. The setting is also very pleasant. The restaurant has two outdoor seating areas, one at the front along the street which is already very nice, and another smaller side area with trees above the tables that creates a particularly charming and intimate atmosphere. The street itself is beautiful and lined with citrus trees, which gives the whole area a lovely Mediterranean feeling. Sitting indoors is also very enjoyable, as the decoration is elegant and tasteful, and there are always beautiful flower arrangements that add a lively and welcoming touch to the space. As for the food, Papadakis is outstanding for seafood. The fish is always extremely fresh and you can simply check the daily options when you arrive to see what has just come in. I have tried many dishes during my visits and everything I tasted was excellent. The seafood spaghetti is particularly delicious and very flavorful, and when they have langoustines available they are absolutely wonderful, very fresh and perfectly prepared. Papadakis is one of those restaurants where everything comes together naturally, great seafood, warm hospitality and a beautiful setting, and it is definitely a place I always look forward to returning to whenever I am in Athens.

Papadakis is a truly charming restaurant: the atmosphere is elegant and carefully curated, creating a warm and relaxed setting that’s perfect for dinner. The service is attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The cuisine focuses on traditional Greek seafood dishes — simple but very well executed. The menu isn’t particularly extensive, but every dish is thoughtfully prepared with high-quality ingredients. Among the dishes I tried, the barley with shrimp stood out — really delicious and definitely worth trying. We also had a fish soup as a starter, which was excellent as well: rich in flavor and perfectly balanced. Overall, a pleasant and genuine experience — ideal for anyone who wants to enjoy traditional seafood in an elegant yet cozy environment.

Absolutely delicious food! Definitely order spicy shrimps, dolmadakia and do not leave without trying the orange chocolate cake dessert - probably the most delicious dessert I had in a long time! Good service and wine selection too.

Wonderful dinner spot with a lovely ambience and friendly staff. We particularly enjoyed the aubergine, fava, dolmades, and the grouper; our kids loved the orzo with shrimp. And make sure to try the mastika ice cream as a final sweet finish + pallet cleanser. (One note to the kitchen: I found the Greek salad slightly too salty!) Be sure to book in advance on the weekends.

This is our 3 rd time here in this delightful bistro. We are back again after a year on our second trip to Athens. The food was still amazing, the service professional and friendly. We are so happy that we have a favorite restaurant in Athens. The review below was written yesterday. Honestly, it was so enjoyable that we came back again today. It was our last evening in Athens and we are so glad we chose Papadakis to end our wonderful holiday in Greece. The service was kind and helpful and they graciously found us a table outside. The food was delicious and perfectly served as we enjoy sharing our dishes .😋Octopus braised in honey; chickpea casserole; orzo with shrimps; fried calamari; orange fondant with chocolate ice cream. Lovely setting in the beautiful suburb of Kolonaki.

What a beautiful and peaceful place to enjoy delicious Greek cuisine. Surrounded by nature and fresh breeze, makes this place very unique. The staff was very friendly, The price is relatively decent, The food was delicious, And they have a very good selection of Greek wines, really tasty and good price as well. I highly recommend this restaurant.
