Papagayo Beach Resort Curacao

Very friendly staff nice looking property. Would be helpful if there was an elevator when it comes to luggage instead of walking up the stairs. Took a look at their villas looks nice but has to be upgraded. ||Came for an event old school brunch very nice. Also like the options on the property of different places to eat and different places to enjoy nightlife. ||They also let me get an early check-in which was really appreciated! ||Would definitely come back!

We enjoyed a villa at the Papagayo beach resort for a week. We loved our villa. The kitchen area was fantastic. We made several trips to the grocery store on site at the main hotel and we really enjoyed having lazy mornings where we would wake up and have easy breakfasts of baguette, cheese and eggs before leaving our room. The service was great. It was a bit of a hike from reception to our suite - so when it was hot and we were coming back on foot and were tired, the staff graciously gave us rides in the golf cart. ||The service was great as was the housekeeping. The rooms were very tranquil. The resort area was very quiet.||We also enjoyed the location quite a bit. While we had a car, it was nice to be able to walk down the hill to the beach and we ate ate all of the restaurants on the Jan Thiel beach and greatly enjoyed them. This was a fantastic vacation and we really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here for 2 nights to finish off our Curaçao trip. Check in is a breeze - served with some awesome fruit punch. We got a beach bag complimentary and a mini bar package - some sodas, juices, beer and water. The villa was a 2 bedroom villa with 2 bathrooms and a wrap around porch with a view of the ocean - fully equipped kitchen though we didn’t use it. The BEST thing about the villa is that all the doors and shutters open up fully to merge the living area with the porch - the island breeze, the swing, the porch furniture, the trees, the birds flying in and out of the villa. We spent many hours lazing around reading a book in the island breeze. Fun sized swimming pool which my kids loved and played games for hours at end, Jan Theil beach and the beach club a quick walk away. We picked up croissants and coffee from Zanzibar restaurant in the morning. We shopped at the grocery store for Dutch snacks and treats which we dont get back in the US.they have access to the gym though we did not use it. Parking is right outside our villa. Totally worth it and highly recommended.

My stay at the hotel was absolutely fantastic! The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-appointed, offering beautiful views that made every morning special. The highlight of my trip was the Fun Diving Curaçao club, affiliated with the hotel. They provided unforgettable diving experiences. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced diver, they make sure you feel safe and enjoy every moment.

Loved the beutiful island of Curacao and all of its people!||The resort was mid. Our room (Royal Suite 301) smelled so bad it was nauseating every morning and afternoon. Had someone come and try to take care of problems twice but it never worked. Complained several times. Not healthy to breath in sewage for a week.||Beach towels were a major issue. We leave the unit early morning to spend the day exploring. We leave way before the 9:30 beach towel pick up time and return past the 5:30 beach towel return time. Had to literally argue for beach towels twice. Received gross old and stained towels. Completely unacceptable.||Had a reservation for 7 for New Years Eve dinner. My fault because i did not ask if it was a buffet or a set price. Once we arrived to dinner decided two of my children who are vegetarian would not be eating. I decided after looking at the buffet i would not be eating. Was told i would receive one more refund but then they "changed their mind" and said no. I had to fight for my refund. I ate nothing. Not good customer service.

Everything was perfect ...!|the ladys at the recepion Ms.Dajanara & Ms. Rougenka were very helpfull & friendly...|The rooms were very spacious & confortable, it would be nice if the bath had something where to hang the towels....|the food at the restaurants was delicious & the staff was very friendly, altough a bit slow...! The best restaurant by far was ZEST, the food & the service was excellet.|At the beach great setting and atmosphere was great, the best sunsets ever...|We really had a great family vacation, & recommend it 100%.

Amazing! Location, facilities, the pool is just amazing! Is my 4th visit to the island and first time in Papagayo.. I was missing the best spot! Will come back soon as we love the island and for sure this will be the spot. |Reception team were super friendly and helpful ! |The room was just a dream, we got an amazing rest perfect to enjoy the beautiful island the next day. |Will come back to Papagayo and will recommend for sure!!

We had a very nice stay at Papagayo beach resort. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Loechnella in particular was very helpful in giving good advice for what to do with the kids (which beaches etc). ||The apartment was spacious with a very nice balcony.
