Papageno zur Schweizer Grenze

Went back to Papageno for a special date night (20 years), and it didn't disappoint. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Service was impeccable, very attentive, but still discrete. Papageno isn't a secret any longer. It deserves all the praise. I would highly recommend this place and will visit soon again, next time, with friends who enjoy culinary experiences as we do. Kudos to both the Chef and the service team as we had a wonderful evening.

Pricey tasting menu, with a vegetarian option, which I was happy to see. Food was quality, service was old school (even if by young waiters), but it was a very enjoyable experience, and the chef came to greet us at the end of the meal.. Nice mix of traditional and modern..

Everything about this place is top notch...if you want to do dinner this is top of the list

The food was super tasty and delicious, prepared with care and attention for details. The acoustic of the place is not helpful at all, especially if you have loud groups around. We saw the serving for a group near us - such a headache! While some were being served the entree, the rest was already at the main dish. Total incoordination, even for a beer you had to remind the staff twice that you ordered.

The food here is nothing short of excellent. The best example of German cuisine I've had since i moved here 2 years ago. The restaurant is beautiful inside. Great local eatery and would highly recommend.

A colleague and I enjoyed dinner here in late October, 2017. Under new management since late 2016, this restaurant offers appetizing food and drink in a relaxed atmosphere. Recommended.
