This has got to be the best per slice pizza places I’ve been to in a long time. The owner was very kind to me knowing that today is my birthday. Will definitely be back.

Whenever I am in the Bedford area I always look forward to a Buffalo chicken bacon each slice. This is my first time visiting this pizza shop and I love it. The slices were big and very tasteful. The crust wasn’t dry at all. While eating there was a man who was short a dollar and one of the employees said it was okay. The customer also had a disability. Such a kind heart. They also bring your food to you they don’t have to but they did it out of their way. I highly recommend this place. Good customer service. Keep up the great work!!! I will be back. 🥳🥳🥳🥳

We happened in when we got off the L train, as my son was hungry. I’m not sure if it was The “Papa” but the gentleman that helped us was super friendly. Outstandingly friendly and helpful. The cheese slice itself was everything you want in NY pizza. Good cheese and sauce levels. Big slice with chewy dough, warmed up with just a little crisp to the crust. Tried the chicken roll for something different. It was very tasty. Flavorful and a nice size. Definitely recommend this place. Will stop by next time we are in the area.

Last night the pizza shop next door stood me up on a 2:30am pick up on a "too good to go to waste" app order that I paid $3.99 to receive leftovers from them at but they were closed at 2:30am so I instead got a refund and wound up spending $10.40 here on the last two vodka slices they obviously was hoping with the door open that someone would come in and purchase. I travelled that far so I might as well. In store menu clearly reads $5 speciality slices. They have an in-store qr code that you can scan in-store for $10 off on your first online order so I knew I would be out to get my monies worth of that $10 that I didn't plan on spending at all that night. Today I went to order online on my way back to this location. I see that the vodka slices or specialty are $3 with an added $1.50 online instead of a whole $5 or $10.40 for two but people has their ways. I'm not too stingy, I'd order at least a beef patty with those $11 cheese sticks that are "popular" on the online menu just to pay something more than a dollar to them since with a $10 off on first online order discount. I'll even add a 10% tip to contribute. Not good enough. They want more and more added to the order for it to process. I took the tip out. They handed my order of a taped shut box for pick up to me. Garlic knots, mozzarella sticks, beef patty with cheese and "cocoa bread." This had a value of "$24.37" that I paid $14.37 on. It is my belief that you will receive a lot more business through decency and honesty. The bread is literally just a flavorless, dry hamburger bun, no idea what kind of cheese is on the beef patty, nothing special about the garlic knots nor 5 little mozzarella sticks. If your stuck counting your every dollars worth than with an actual $10 discount $5 paid on this alone would include a nice tip is where I'm coming from. Everyone wants to get rich quick off of one person. Rob the poor to feed who? Who did I feed? How many meals was that because I have to stretch this one. Go to Burger King? I could've. I have valid paper coupons till the end of this month. Nice seasoning in the sauce though I'm sure they are proud of. I'm sorry. The restaurant has good food compared to picking up canned goods from food drives but can't the gov just fund their salaries? Why do I have to do it?

I had the sicilian slice. Nice airy crispy crust with just the right amount of tomato sauce and mozzarella. Customer service is good.

The pizza was really good and tasty!! The prices are cheaper than other places around and the staff was very friendly!! Will definitely be coming here again

The service is good but the pizza is not tasty. The sauce is not tasty and not of good quality.

Everytime I am in the area. I look forward to grabbing a few slices here. One of the best for sure! The guys there are so nice and great to talk to. You have to check it out! (So good had to take a few bites before taking a picture)

Decent slices at a reasonable price, very nice people, no card minimum. I got a margarita and a ziti slice, both were excellent but I preferred the ziti. The crust was a little doughy for my liking but the sauce had a really nice flavor. Both slices together were $10 which I thought was reasonable for the size. They had a good selection ready when I was there although certain pies looked like they had been out for a while. I opted for the fresher ones on purpose. The owner (?) was extremely kind and friendly. Good people. Will return.

Come to Papa! Nothing like an old school pizza joint to satisfy your hunger. Good cheese slice with just the right amount of cheese and sauce ratio. Good crust too. A nice sized slice will run you $3. Not really a dine in spot as there are only a few tables. Take your slice while walking Bedford Ave.

Love this spot. Accommodating and very kind. I rarely leave reviews, however they have been incredibly kind and made an effort to know me on a personal level when I come in. The food is great and just all around an enjoyable spot.

Writing this as I munch on a plain cheese slice. Price $3. It's alright. Size is on the smaller side for a non budget 99 cent slice. I hate to be the person calling things bland, but I really can't taste the tomato sauce, and even the cheese is very average/ of a strange consistency. The crust isn't notable. I'm someone who enjoys the crust at the end of a slice, and this slice I got has a crust that doesn't feel doughy at all, kind of stale. Dropped by because it's convenient and located right next to the subway station. Didn't try the other slices as the plain cheese slice is always my first measure of pizza quality. I like that they have ample seating inside, and there's an atm machine which is a nice touch. Staff was very nice. Would only come back if hungry and in a hurry and it's convenient, but not a slice I will crave or seek out. In some ways not as good as 2Bros or some of the 99ct slices in Manhattan. Everyone's taste buds are different; this slice doesn't meet my standard for the classic NY cheese slice.

This is the dank dank late night slice your dreams are made of and the kindness and love from the staff is felt in every ounce of the pizza. We should be so lucky

From 11 am all day and open up late. old school Classic new york pizza , pasta, baked ziti, meatball chicken parm egg plant parm subs. They even have pigs in a blanket... Great people excellent food

Fantastic slice, great prices, lots of options, and the staff is friendly... what more could you ask for? Nothing bad to say about this place other than it's not closer to me. Definitely would recommend stoping in for a slice when in the area!

I was drunk and this was bad so you know it's bad . Dry and flavorless. Wouldn't recommend

Good for a late slice and the garlic knots are reputedly decent. Employees seemed friendly when I stopped by on my way to the L after a night at the club.

Great little late hour pizza spot In Brooklyn, not expensive and really good slices. Try the empanadas too.

I really really hate to leave this review as I work in hospitality but my wife grabbed a cheese slice for me the other day in all of the crazy elements. I have a strict diet and the slice was the only thing I wouldn't usually eat. I'm not sure how the dough management is or how the refrigeration is but the dough tasted moldy and had an interesting after taste. I didn't think anything of it because at the end of the day its just a cheese slice. Long story short, I began to burp up the slice and shortly there after it came out in the worst way. I don't drink, I don't smoke, and again the slice was the only thing out of the ordinary of what I usually eat from week to week. It took my stomach about a day to recover amid me running back and forth to the bathroom. The service was great from what my wife mentioned. I don't even post yelp reviews but I think you guys should look into your dough management because I'm sure you don't want to make people sick.

Vodka slice here is the best slice on Bedford in my opinion. Stop in here for great slices and great friendly service!

Super nice guy at the restaurant. (I wanna say it's Papa) . I wanted a calzone and he made it perfectly and the size was huge. Since visiting from SF I totally recommend eating here. Great quality service, taste, and portion size. Thanks Pappa!

Stumbled upon this place after a show last night and glad I did. Old school pizza place with solid slices, chicken rolls, beef patties etc. I got a beef patty, cheese slice and spinach pinwheel. Everything was excellent! I had them add cheese to the beef patty - if you've had this before you know what to expect. The cheese slice was appropriately cheesed and sauced with a good crust. I'd order a whole pie from here for sure. The spinach pinwheel was excellent, could really taste the garlic in it too which I enjoyed. The owner was there and took care of my order, he was fun to chat with and reminisce about old school pizza places like this one. I will definitely be returning next time I'm back in NYC.

Ordered chicken parm with spaghetti for takeout. It was exactly what I was craving. Tasted great, a ton of food & I was super excited that it included a few garlic knots too! The owner was there & was very friendly. I had a ten minute walk home & it was still piping hot! Will definitely return!

I tried vodka sauce pizza slice and it was surprisingly very good. Crust was quite crispy enough with the vodka sauce.

Best pizza I ever had! Friendly and fast service, anyone that wants to try a great New York pizza needs to come here! You won't regret it

This pizza place can't be serious. The plain slice was drab beyond belief. Bad sauce, tasteless cheese and too thick crust. Gave it 4 bites and tossed it. Don't waste your money.

Papa's Pizza is hands down the greatest tasting pizza and the greatest environment for pizza in all of NYC. This place is truly my second home. The owners are the kindest most generous people. I definitely come here at least once a week, but sometimes 3 times a week, just to pop in and say hello. I love this place! Come check them out and tell all your friends about Papa's Pizza! I know I do!!!!

I came in here at midnight on the first 30 degree night in NY. I hadn't ate all day and try my hardest not to eat at night but I just needed something solid for the long trip back home. I swore I would only eat one slice but it became three. The sauce just hits different. Plus, after I struck up a long conversation with the chef, he wouldn't let me leave with out a free drink of choice. Really warm and friendly. Def will come back next time I'm in williamsburg.

so underrated, amazing dough, open late night without lines, cheap. everyone's too busy waiting in line at joes to even know what they're missing out on. best pizza spot in bk
