What a cute lunch spot. We stopped in here for a quick bite and had a nice light lunch. I had the chicken salad sandwich, which was fine. It just needed a little bit more seasoning. My friend had the turkey sandwich that she described as a Thanksgiving sandwich, and it was delicious. We also got a coffee cake cookie, which was the best cookie I had in a minute. The icing was incredible cream cheese icing, and the cookie itself was a light and fluffy, almost gingerbread cookie. The woman serving at the counter was so nice and pleasant even when we took a minute to decide. For sure, it's worth checking out.

Great hidden spot for brunch! Had the turkey sandwich and it was delicious. Glad we found this place and we will be back.

I love Paper Plane! The culture and vibe here is so special. Truly a part of the community, Plane offers a place to rest, refresh, nourish and shop for staples. I love starting my mornings with a fresh cup of Enderly coffee and breakfast made fresh from one of the brilliant ladies of the deli. If you come for lunch you MUST have a Dram sparkling water and The Laura. Trust.

I honestly rarely write reviews on Google but this place is just so dang awesome that I felt I owed it to write one. Paper Plane might just be my single favorite spot in Charlotte. You can truly get anything and everything here: from absolutely delicious sandwiches (breakfast and lunch -- see my photo of the Club sandwich) to coffee, to bottles of craft beer, snacks, on-tap beer and even cocktails! The vibe is so welcoming and the staff is just amazing. And also don't sleep on the food -- whoever is behind the creations is a culinary genius (FYI - the food that's offered over at Devil's Logic Brewery called "the hangar" is in partnership with Paper Plane). Give this place a try - I have zero doubts that it'll be well worth it.

I was looking for a new and interesting place to hang out and grab a bite and I found it at paper plane deli and market. I loved the energy as soon I walked in the door. The staff was very nice and the food was even better. I definitely recommend stopping by and checking it out. It is definitely a hidden gem here in the Queen City

Amazingly yummy tuna melt (with a side of horseradish sauce for dipping - thx Amanda 💁‍♀️🙏🤗) and delicious fermented beverage from Up Dog Kombucha - I’ll be frequenting this spot a lot!

Can’t believe I just spent 11 dollars for an Arizona tea and a less than mediocre sausage egg and cheese bagel. Edit: the paper planes owner got upset so let me clarify. The manager Jill is a very sweet and nice employee! The sandwich was not bad per se but it was less than average, nothing special about it, and overall pretty small. I’m not the type of person to have someone remake a sandwich and why waste, it was good enough to eat so that’s what I did. The point that you seem to be missing here is that it was 11 dollars for a bagel sandwich and a 99¢ tea. You’re upset I talked on the internet about this but sure, I’ll follow your advice and complain to an hourly employee about prices that she has no control of… makes sense. Apparently I’m a coward for writing a review but I guess you’re not familiar with the first amendment, reviews are to tell of an experience and that is what I did, so dearly sorry, welcome to America. If you truly want to review me, I’m more than happy to drop off a headshot and my resume, I’m sure you’ll love me! Good luck to you, Jill, and your business!

This place is amazing! Amanda and her staff are friendly and have curated a great menu with many local/homemade ingredients. The pastrami is the best you'll find in the area, hands down (I could go on about this for awhile, but just go try it and see). They have a good selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and the atmosphere is very welcoming. I highly recommend this place for a good sammy and beer. I haven't tried the breakfast or coffee yet, but I'm sure that's amazing too. Also, try the meat and cheese plate, buffalo chicken dip, and pimento cheese!
