New SF Sandwich Spot Paper Rooster Replaces Former Chairman Location - Eater SF

"Paper Rooster opened to the public serving Chinese-influenced food from native San Franciscan Stanley Yee. It serves a variety of chicken sandwiches like a “reserve” with crispy skin, xo sauce, and house-made pickles on Panorama bread. Yee’s sodas (ginger ale, jasmine soda) and chips (in flavors like shrimp and sriracha) are also house-made creations. Vegetarian sandwich options include roasted five spice eggplant and mushroom." - Caleb Pershan

*closed" Super fun spot adding Asian flair to their sandwiches. Really unique and fun. The shop is cute and clean. I definitely hope they become a Larkin Street stake!

A variety of tastey and interesting sandwich options with hand made chips and sodas. I had the emperor (fried chicken sandwich with sweat chili) and the ginger ale. The ginger ale was more spicy than sweat just like I like it.

Today was my first time at this new sandwich joint. I ordered the Jade and the Ginger Ale. The sandwich is a decent size. I love that they offer dark meat. My sandwich was flavorful and juicy and saucy. I got it to go and the cashier was thoughtful in placing the straw for my drink and napkins in my sandwich bag. While the ginger ale wasn’t anything special, I would definitely go back to try other sandwiches, maybe a fried chicken one next time. Also, they were generous with the napkins as I needed each one because of the yummy aioli that dripped from my sammy.
