San Jose’s Michelin-Starred Portuguese Restaurant Adega Is Closing | Eater SF

"I noted that Petiscos was just added to Michelin’s Bib Gourmand list last week, and that owners Carlos and Fernanda Carreira plan to concentrate on expanding Petiscos, including converting Adega into a second Petiscos location planned to reopen by early 2024." - Dianne de Guzman

Yvette was absolutely amazing she was a true server. She definitely loves what she does. She took the time to review the entire menu with us since we were not from here and have never been to this restaurant. The food and presentation was astonishing. I wish they had one of these in Orlando Florida.

My mom and I love this Pappadeaux location so much. We’ve never had a bad meal here and the service has always been exceptional. It’s a little tricky getting here from the Ft. Worth area but well worth it. Because it’s off HWY 114 it doesn’t have as much charm and character as a restaurant nestled in the community would, so 4/5 stars for that. Otherwise 5 overall. The chopped salad with grilled salmon is my favorite. But with so many tasty choices it’s hard to go wrong with anything on their menu.

Excellent service by Ms. Ivette; a true hospitality Pro! The Gumbo was magnificent. The Redfish Special was good as well. Oysters ok. In our group of 6 everyone liked their appetizers and entrees. The Front Outside Hostess, Amelia was welcoming. In summary a great experience for our 3 generations family.

I do recommend making a reservation on-line before going to Pappadeux, as we are seated more quickly with reservations. We were disappointed with Pappadeux in Grapevine. Although our server was friendly, service still lacked consistency. As for the food, the baguette and whipped butter were perfection. Unfortunately, my gumbo was thin, watery and too spicy. It had the dark color of roux, but not the deep flavor or viscosity of a proper roux. There were absolutely no traces of okra, celery or onion, which the manager surmised was because I ordered a cup instead of a bowl of gumbo. Yet, as someone who makes homemade gumbo, I know it is unusual to ladle a cup of properly prepared gumbo without any okra seeds, celery or onion. If the ingredients are balanced and plentiful, every ladle should have elements of those ingredients- even if the okra pods cook down. There was, however, a finger sized piece of green bell pepper, as if it were placed on top of the broth along with the 3 shrimp and piece of crab. The large piece of bell pepper was out of balance and overwhelming. I know from eating at other Pappadeux locations that it is possible to get a well balanced cup of Gumbo with thick tasty roux and all the vegetables visibly included. The okra and the trinity all add to the viscosity of the gumbo even if file is no longer used in the dish. They also add dimensions of flavor and make the gumbo tastier. Proper gumbo is a time consuming endeavor. The cup I was served was not worth the $12-13 per cup. For entrees: I ordered the wild caught red snapper with jumbo lump crab. The three small pieces of crab were not worth the extra $7 thus I recommend ordering it naked and saving $7. The red snapper was delicious, cooked to perfection and seemed to be a whole fish although it was completely skinned, deboned and cooked in pieces. The side of sauteed spinach was fine also. My husband ordered the Crispy Salmon with jumbo lump crab, shrimp and scallop. It had one of each on top of the salmon steak. The side of manchego pureed potatoes just tasted like thinned out whipped potatoes. No detectable manchego cheese. Unfortunately his salmon was cold and raw. The sear on it was negligible but the manager was so condescending when I complained about the gumbo, my husband said he would just take the salmon back to the hotel room and microwave it. It actually went in the trash since the hotel room didn’t have a microwave and we had to leave for airport at 4:30 AM the next morning. $40 in the hotel trash bin. We finished the meal off with banana pudding in a mason jar. It was delicious, even though it only had 3 banana slices. The homemade custard, real heavy whipping cream and the homemade vanilla wafers all but made up for the missing banana slices. The strawberry on top was pretty but didn’t enhance the flavor of the dessert at all. We would have preferred more banana! We will not be returning to this location! We highly recommend the Pappadeux in Norcross, Georgia if you are in the😴Atlanta area. Norcrosse is a beautiful little walk about town and worth a day trip that includes lunch or dinner at Pappadeux. We will try other DFW Pappadeux locations on future trips.

Google
We celebrated my 60th birthday here. The redfish was amazing!!! The food is always excellent as well as the service. We are originally from New Orleans and this restaurant makes me feel like I am back there eating at a restaurant in the French Quarter ❤️

Google
First timer from Seattle WA, and I tell you the meal, drinks and service was excellent. Karen our server was on top of everything and was awesome. Eric the manager came out and welcomed us which I thought was outstanding. We will be back and will send all the folks y'all way. Thanks for the great hospitality

Makayla was our server tonight. 💯She practically ensured our experience was A+. She was friendly, kind, attentive and kept on refilling our drinks and checking on us. Thank you for making our experience enjoyable. Location is great. Prices reflect how big their portions are. The atmosphere is great and alive. Even my granddaughters request to come eat here. And if you are a veteran like us, Pappadeux do give military discount❤️

Great experience and quality service, our server was attentive and helpful. Portions were decent sized. Close to the airport for a nice meal. The have an option to choose live lobsters.

Yelp
Thanks for the great service, Britton! You went above and beyond for everyone at our table.

Yelp
Great experience. We enjoyed our meal here. Jameel, our server was pleasant, knowledgable and attentive. Hot bread with whipped butter was brought out promptly. Food came promptly out in a reasonable time frame for a Sunday at lunch time. The three of us ordered as follows: - Atlantic Salmon and Shrimp - Wild-caught Red Snapper and Jumbo Crab with Spinach side - 5 Broiled Shrimp - Slice of Sweet Potato Pecan Pie with Ice Cream All the food was amazing! We would return to this location based on the food and service quality.

Yelp
Came to celebrate a friends birthday. When we were being seated, the hostess took us to a table right in front of the door. As it was 5:30 on a Saturday, there were plenty of seating available so I wasn't sure why she would seat us here. I explained I would like to be seated elsewhere, she looked frustrated and took us to another table. She had two sets of silverware, although we told her three in the party, she responded our server would bring it. Our server, bless her heart, was either new, having a hard day or just overwhelmed. I told her we were celebrating my friends birthday. She acknowledged her, told her happy birthday and told her how pretty she looked (I say all this for what came later). I asked her if they had crab fingers, she said she knew they had them earlier in the day but wasn't sure if they were available but would go check. She was gone for a good 15 minutes and came back asking if we were ready to order. Orders were placed and when she got to me, she looked at me like we didn't have a conversation about the crab fingers which she never let me know if they had them or not. She came back to ask if we would like to order dessert. Brought the dessert tray over, we ordered something off of it and then she brought the check. Had to ask her if they do anything for birthdays and she looks like a deer caught in the headlights. I once again mention we are celebrating my friends birthday. She orders a dessert to go and once again it's a waiting game. When she finally brought the dessert she mentioned that the person making them was making them out of order from the way they were placed. The food was good, so if you got patience and time to spare, stop on in and give em a try.

Yelp
Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen is a regional chain in Texas that focuses on cuisine from New Orleans. It's known for huge plates (easily split by two), great service, and consistent food. There are multiple locations in the DFW Metroplex, but this is one of the best. My Overall Rating - 4 1/2 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - The Pappadeaux in Grapevine has a more upscale feel than the other locations. This restaurant is made for groups, so expect large round tables that can hold 8 - 10 people along with plenty of booths and tables. White tablecloth and ornate lighting add a touch of upscale feel to this always busy and loud location. Don't worry -it's still casual. 1 Star. Service - Our servers were amazing. They were attentive and extremely helpful. Every request was made, they continued to follow up and displayed a genuine interest in our party's experience. This is the kind of service I would expect from a super high-end restaurant. Kudo's Pappadeaux. 1 Star. Food - Each table gets a complementary freshly baked bread along with whipped butter. Ask for scampi butter if you want some extra flavor. Now, Pappadeax's portion sizes are humongous. Really, you can easily split all the dishes. On this visit, we started with Crab Finger appetizers both fried and sauteed. The sauteed version is served with dirty rice and can easily be a meal. ProTip - dip the hot, fresh bread into the sauteed sauce so you don't waste any. I split my Pappas Greek salad on this visit. The traditional Greek salad packs a punch of flavor from it's olives and feta cheese while the lettuce keeps you cool. This salad comes with two shrimp, but you can add any protein like a blackened salmon filet. My only issue is that Pappadeux's prices have skyrocketed over the years. A meal for 4 will easily exceed $200. 1 1/2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. Death, Taxes, and Pappdeaux's - these are the constants if you live in Texas. While it's not quite New Orleans, its flavors and dishes are delicious and have kept me coming back for over 2 decades. 1 Star.

The food was delicious. The service was quick. We ate here before our flight. This location is close by the airport. The ambience was classy.

Yelp
A perfect Friday night featuring their famous breads and butters. We love the fresh, warm bread served as a welcome to the table. The shrimp and crawfish fondue is always a must-have for us. The service is excellent, and we truly enjoy the classic, traditional atmosphere.

Yelp
I had a work lunch at this location on a busy Thursday. I order catfish, chicken strips, fries, a side salad, and cheesy garlic bread. Everything was great! The food was fresh, seasoned, and flavorful. Customer service was also top tier. Good experience!

Yelp
Ambiance is always good, service outstanding, food is usually delicious but last night was okay. Keep in mind an entree is around $49 so I'm going to be picky. Salmon was very salty and mashed potatoes were too wet, like a soup, the dish was pretty tasty but it could have been better, seafood pasta was okay, a little dry and only 2 shrimps and one piece of octopus, the crab got lost in the sauce. Bread and butter yummy and the crème brûlée was a 5/10 Their desserts are not good at all. Our server was extremely nice and attentive! Her name was Raina, she was a 10/10. We love this place for special occasions so we will be back. I hope they bring back the lobster bisque.

Yelp
Pappadeaux is a wonderful restaurant for lunch or a nice dinner. If you like seafood, this is the place to go! There is plenty of parking and I recommend you make a reservation. I came for a late lunch and it wasn't busy. The restaurant is nice, you can dress up if you'd like but not necessary. The lobster, pasta, children's menu and fondue were so good!! The fondue appetizer is incredible! It has crayfish, shrimp, lots of mushrooms, spinach in a fantastic wine cheese sauce with the garlic bread, 10 out of 10!! The 3# live lobster that was cooked for us was a little over $100, definitely wasn't worth it, skip this although it was good.

Yelp
Food drink ambiance and service 10/10 we have a pleasant dinner than expected food in airport :)

Yelp
I really love Cajun food. However, I don't go to Pappadeaux that often because the prices are noticeably higher than other places. To help make it work, consider splitting a dinner entree depending on the degree to which you are hungry. They give you free bread, so you'll feel full and happy before your food even gets to you! I'm here for a complimentary dinner and my birthday treat. Because the Crawfish Platter had a generous amount of fried crawfish plus crawfish étouffée, both quite well-seasoned and delicious, it was certainly enough for two. I savored each bite of the smooth, wealthy crème brûlée, a late lunch/early dinner completed perfectly with a cold beer and a certain harmony of creamy and caramelized taste. The service was really friendly; the atmosphere was energetic, too. This is a good choice if you want seafood and Cajun food. Strategize your order. This is especially important.

Yelp
I absolutely LOVE this place! I missed it so much since my move to Los Angeles. This location is one of the best in the Dallas area! The ambiance is always cool vibes!! The food is always delicious! The customer service is impeccable and ADRIAN took care of us! He was so accommodating!! He made this an amazing experience and I was celebrating my birthday with my sister. Please thank him for us!

Yelp
We feel like things are back to the usual great service here! The prices seem high, but the quality is excellent, and there's always more food than one person can really consume! We love the Chilean Seabass, as well as the Grouper. We frequently also order the Salmon or the fried shrimp. You really can't go wrong with whatever is your order here, as it always is excellent! They have an outdoor patio seating area, as well as a very large interior seating area. The feel is upscale, however you can wear whatever you want. They also have an excellent bar with literally anything you could possibly want! Highly recommend coming here if you have not. If you have stay away when things weren't so good, come back as they have really improved! We will certainly be back, probably in two weeks.

Yelp
Great food and service. Was a little empty for lunch hour. But the bread and butter was really good. I definitely recommend my plate - it was 100% good!!!

Yelp
This review is for the NEW crab cake that cost $34+! DON'T Order that Crab Cake unless you love Cajun flavored dressing/stuffing because this baseball size is filled with 95% stuffing and very little crab. Such a disappointment, wondering if they have a new chef. The flavor was on point but I had to dig through the stuffing to find small slivers of crab. And no crunchy potatoes on top. They do give you a few chunks of crab on the side with very minimal sauce which is nice but for $34, I will pass. Our server was amazing! Even my grandson mentioned how great he was. Will I be back, yes! But never ordering this dish again.

Yelp
Pappadeaux is always my family's go to for a nice dinner. This time, we showed up on a Friday night without a reservation and were lucky enough to be seated right away around 7pm. We must have gotten one of the last open tables because shortly after we saw many parties waiting for a table. I got the naked salmon and my husband got the seafood pasta. Both were delicious! My salmon was cooked perfectly to medium rare. And the potato puree was creamy and luxurious. Others at our table ordered oysters and they raved about them. The restaurant was packed and lively! Unfortunately, the kitchen seemed to struggle as we had to wait way longer than usual for our food. The manager came by and apologized for the wait though, which was very kind. The food was worth the wait but just something to keep in mind if you come on a busy night. Overall we will definitely come back for years to come!

Yelp
Oh my goodness! First time trying this beautiful restaurant out. My husband had been here before but we're vacationing in Texas and this place is a must. We had the gator bites: try them. We had the Greek salad: tasty. We had the Sampler Platter: this had catfish. Oh it was not at all what I expected. I melts in your mouth like butta. Our waitress Ashleigh was attentive and so sweet. She took care of us the time and was refilling our glasses with fresh tea. If you have NOT been here, I say you try it!

Yelp
10's across the board! Fresh seafood, seasoned to perfection. One of my favorite restaurants. I got the Mississippi catfish opulousas, no rice add broccolini and a loaded baked potato. Thank me later! It hits every time. Mohammed was our server and he was amazing!

Hitech G.

Yelp
Too expensive. The food and drinks do not warrant the outrageous prices. You dollars are better served elsewhere.
google avatar

Tom S.

Yelp
Holy butter! The food was good but you could tell they loaded ever dish up with the max butter. Obviously going out places tend to use more butter but still. The bread was unsliced loaf, felt like little bread for a group of 7, even after asking for more. Overall food was good. The server was pretty good at refilling the drinks up until the very end but won't fault him for it either since I didn't ask for another refill. The place was somewhat crowded but had lots of tables. The noise level was typical of similar chain restaurants. I guess it would be a fancier chilis.
google avatar

Yelp
Pappadeaux is a seafood chain I definitely really love. The somewhat elevated price is justified by the quality, flavor and portion sizes. Splitting a dinner plate is a particularly ideal way to thoroughly enjoy a meal here without overordering or overspending. The portions are really huge! Splitting the Crawfish Platter is our go-to. It lets us enjoy lots of crispy fried crawfish and savory crawfish étouffée without feeling stuffed or wasting food. With their complimentary warm bread included, it is an adequate quantity of food for a pair. It's a sufficient way to relish seafood, along with not spending an excessive amount. If you love fresh flavorful seafood go to Pappadeaux. It is the place for it. The bold Cajun flavors will be found there. Reliably delicious food, a consistently great level of service and an energetic atmosphere make it a go-to spot for a fully satisfying seafood feast!

Yelp
Went to celebrate my dad's birthday and haven't been to Pappadeaux in a few months. No secret it's one of my favorite restaurants. It never lets me down personally. I got the roasted oysters for the first time and they were delicious af! Can't believe it took me so long to get these. If you put the sauce that comes with the fried alligator on the oysters, it sets it off even more. The alligator is always perfect. No complaints ever on that. I also tried the Texas redfish for the first time as I usually get salmon or blackened catfish. The redfish was really good and I liked the butter sauce on it. It was light and the texture was firm but still melt in your mouth. The crab and shrimp on top added that perfect touch. It was a pretty good plate and I'm not mad I ordered it. This location is usually my favorite to dine at. I always have a great experience here. 10/10

Yelp
I have a love-hate relationship with Pappadeaux. I will recommend it, but with reservation.   The service is top notch. When we were there, it was peak dinner time and they were properly staffed to meet all of their diner's needs in a timely fashion.   The food is high quality and tastes great. But, before you decide to make a reservation, know that it's Pricey, with a capital "P". We spent over $100, with a couple of cocktails, an appetizer and a shared entrée and dessert. So, for a couple, it'd be easy to spend upwards of $200. For a delicious cocktail, I recommend a Mai Tai. Served in a tall glass, this brightly colored, tropical cocktail will pair really well with fried cheese or seafood.   For a shared appetizer, I recommend the MOZZARELLA CHEESE BITES, with spicy marinara sauce. This fried cheese is comfortably in my top five.   For dinner, we shared a meal because we filled up on the cheese.  We ordered the SEAFOOD PLATTER, which includes two fried catfish fillets, shrimp, oysters, stuffed shrimp & stuffed crab. It is a delicious choice, though you can't go wrong with any of their entrees.   For dessert, we ordered a VANILLA CHEESECAKE, with fresh berries to share. It's RICH! Great choice. We definitely could have lived without this.   The ambiance is classy. When it's peak meal times, expect a long wait, and a noisy dining experience. Though you can wear casual clothes and fit right in, I suggest that for a proper date night you wear your Sunday best and shine your shoes.   Overall, I recommend Pappadeaux if your budget allows. If not, save your pennies for a special occasion, and go crazy. ~Enjoy~

Yelp
We've been to this location numerous times; pretty much our to-go place if we can't decide on a place to meet. The restaurant is very nice and clean, and they're always so accommodating; the wait is never an issue. The food is obviously the main reason we return so often and we always get the crab claws (secret menu), the seafood pasta, shrimp fondue and their salad is so good because of their creamy vinaigrette dressing! This would actually get 5 stars from me but they took away our favorite drink, because they discontinued a grapefruit vodka and we were disappointed, but other than that we love this place and will keep coming back!

Yelp
We liked everything about this place, the service, the ambiance and the food. My wife had the grilled rainbow trout and i had the grilled grouper. The chef hit it out the park as they both were bursting with flavor. I have to have a couple of schooners of draft beer and the wife had wine. Great meal.

Yelp
My Sister and I came for lunch on Dec 18 2025. We really enjoyed our food but the highlight was our wait person! Her name is Melba. She was fantastic!! She was right on time with refills. She was so very kind and considerate!! A wait person can make or break a restaurant. Melba was so professional! Ask for her next time you visit!! You won't be sorry!!

Yelp
I used to love coming to Pappadeaux for their seafood gumbo. We went on a cool rainy day, aka perfect gumbo day. My expectations and anticipation were on high but man, did it get deflated. I ordered a bowl of gumbo, my standard order of the past and was so disappointed. Where's the seafood?!?! It had shrimp and what looked to be some fish. No oyster, no crab, no crawfish...boo! If I had wanted the shrimp gumbo I would have ordered the shrimp gumbo. The server was friendly and service was fast. The place did need a deep clean. Like on the surface everything looked clean but for example, the lamp on our table needed a good wipe down.

Yelp
Found this place by mistake. Thought I should try some Cajun food while here. I haven't had some good Cajun food in a while, so this was a no-brainer. From the moment i walked in, I knew I was in for a treat. This place is pretty big, and it was kinda full. Of course you come to a seafood restaurant and eat chicken, right? Well, I did. I was in the mood for some Cajun chicken with red beans and rice. My waiter, Scott, hooked me up. He recommended the large chicken tenderloin order and made it a combo, fried and Cajun. As you can see from the photo, this was a large serving, and better than you would think. I totally enjoyed it. I will be back to try some other dishes. Btw, the service and the food were both awesome. I recommend.
google avatar

Karen J.

Yelp
I had the fried shrimp and catfish platter. It was good as usual. I also had the awesome warm bread. When we arrived, Kyron, who wasn't our server, came over to get our drink order. He said he was helping our actual server Montana ,who also was good. Those two really worked well together. I appreciate their collaborative spirit towards customer service. Well done.

Yelp
The servers are trained extensively and very good. Pappadeaux does not hire just anyone. The managers are even better. Brandon runs an extremely clean, delicious and great dining experience for a restaurant. Every manager working there makes it a better experience.

Yelp
Love making reservations online. Andrew was our server and he was very friendly and nice. Attentive when refilling our drinks and checking on us. It was very busy and the kitchen pumps out the food flawlessly. Everything we ordered was delicious and came out hot! Enjoy this location as we were greeted upon entry and thanked as we were leaving. Great nice out!

Yelp
Nice to finally visit an off-airport location. Great service - I usually get the gumbo but could not resist trying the red fish with shrimp and crab topping. Delicious as always. Highly recommend if you find yourself staying near DFW or Grapevine.

Yelp
In town for a work trip and sat at the bar for dinner. I always have a great meal here and the bartenders are very good with service!

Andrew B.

Yelp
Ruined their alligator appetizer, the main reason I ever went. It is now impossible to order the original version and the new version is drizzled with crappy sauce, way smaller than the old version, and yet somehow more expensive. Unacceptable.
google avatar

James H.

Yelp
We arrive Friday night. Our place was real busy. We sat at the bar for maybe 15 minutes and then we got a table. The menu selection was good. The prices were good. The drinks were fantastic. I will definitely be going back there again. The ambience was a little loud, but it was OK

Yelp
Great spot. Service is always spot on. Food was delicious. I think we ate 4 loaves of bread- so yummy. Don't think you could go wrong with any selection. Birthday celebration that was on point!

Yelp
Pappadeaux's never disappoints. We stopped here for a late lunch. I had the seafood Cobb salad it was fresh and so good. Plenty of crab and shrimp and I loved the honey bacon. Our sever was wonderful he was supper attentive! The restaurant was busy but super comfortable and clean.

Yelp
i went in with very high expectations being recommended to come here. im not from the south and wanted to try something different. the service was good - the wait staff was nice and kept checking on me. it was not a busy day. the ambiance was alright - just your generic fast casual restaurant the food on the other hand was mediocre. the gumbo soup, crab and spinach dip and the mozzarella bites were very good. the crawfish platter was absolutely a dissapointment. for $36 - im expectation should be greater than going to applebees or a lower end fast casual spot. one and done spot

Yelp
We came here after a basketball game at The Field House since my wife was craving seafood. We had a great experience on an early Sunday evening, We started with the Shrimp and Crawfish Fondoo. It was a tasty combination of seafood, spinach, and cheese with garlic bread for dipping. We split The Salmon Alexander along with a House Salad. The Salmon was grilled with a rare center. The classic topping of crawfish and shrimp were delicious. Service was great with Kailyn. I know Pappadeaux is a chain but we would definitely come again.

Yelp
We had a great experience at Pappas Seafood House in Humble, TX. We decided to visit their Grapevine location. This restaurant turned out to be more upscale than the Humble location. Food wise, the oysters at Fezzo's in Broussard, LA tasted better than the Pappadeaux's version. The other dishes we ordered were decent. Verdict: The service and food at this location paled in comparison to Humble, but it wasn't terrible. However, we'll stick to Humble next time. We sampled: - Jumbo shrimp brochette (grilled bacon wrapped shrimp filled with Monterey Jack cheese & a sliver of jalapeño, dirty rice) - Roasted oysters (lemon garlic butter, Parmesan) - Mozzarella cheese bites (spicy marinara sauce) - Shrimp and crawfish fondeaux (garlic bread)

Yelp
Pappadeaux is always a win in my book. It is normally my first stop off the airplane when arriving to a city in Texas as there are no available locations available where I live (DC- Maryland-Virginia area). This was my first visit to this particular location, located right outside of DFW airport. I write this review to give praise to the young waiter Nana. He was attentive, helpful, and very quick to assist. I'll be back! The food was amazing, of course. I arrived around 1:30pm and it was fairly crowded. It did not take long for us to be seated and served with bread and drinks. The bar drinks were nice and strong and the appetizers came out fast! I left fat, full, and happy :)

Yelp
Best frozen drinks on the planet. Frozen Sangria Swirl Margarita and regular size Swampthing. Just the right mix of tequila so you can still drive home! Server was prompt bringing out the drinks. Lunchtime on a Sat afternoon was not overly crowded in Grapevine.

Yelp
I was given a gift card for Pappadeaux and decided to pick up lunch one day while I was near the restaurant. I paid $33 for 2 fried catfish fillets and 4 shrimp. The shrimp was not fresh, and almost tasted like it was pre-breaded and frozen. It did not come with any sauce even though I requested tarter. Then I paid $9.95 for an extra side of truffle potatoes. I only got 6 small pieces of potato and they were mostly hard, almost raw. It was not worth the price and was very disappointing.

Yelp
Their mozzarella bites are SHAREABLE! That app was SO huge and the seasoned marinara was the best! Fish and shrimp were great and all the pastas were a hit! Friendly service, huge parking lot and wait times for food were all perfect. Huge hit!

Yelp
Papadeaux never disappoints and service is always great! One good reason to get stuck at the Dallas airport!

Yelp
Let's try it again outside of the Dallas metro area, this renowned Establishment was full of lunch time diners ordering multitude of seafood and southern fare lots of conversations taking place in this new Orleans themed eatery. Our waiter was quick to offer us beverages and appetizers. We opted out and went straight to the entrees My wife ordered her staple dietary delight a Caesar salad with salmon I opted for the stuffed crab which was impressive because of the amount of crab that was mixed in a chicken tenders and jumbo shrimp all fried golden brown I must say that they were in both locations and the bread baguette with butter were delicious if that is your thing overall they were average but good, nothing to go to the mountain top and scream about though! The place ran like a well oiled machine good staff good leadership and average good food.

Yelp
The lighting was nice in the restaurant. Zach was a fantastic waiter. He first ask if this was anyone's first time there and it was. My first time, I'm from San Diego California & our friends brought us here. It was fabulous! He took his time explaining the menu & told us how everything was served it all sounded great lol. Our eyes were bigger than our stomach! The food was delicious. We for sure will come back. Also tip for military. They do offer a discount. 25% off each person w a military ID's entree. Super nice, the one in Lancaster no longer does a military discount per our friend. :) make a Reservation! We made it 45min before going and good thing! All others were too Booked. Glad we came here!

Yelp
Growing up in Arlington, Pappadeaux was a staple. There was a period of time where I was dining there one to two times a week. Why? Fanatical food, pleasant service, and bullet proof execution. Surprisingly, they've been able to do this through all of their other locations as well, bringing the same experience in more places that McDonalds should be taking notes from. This isn't a place where you should expect to use a BOGO coupon, it is in the meaty $$$ category (out of five). But if you have the kids with the baby sitter and want to take the spouse out, or if you have a generous date budget and want to take someone special for an immaculate experience look no further.
