Pappas Restaurants Will Leave Hobby Airport After Controversial Vote - Eater Houston
"For over two decades, since 2002, Houstonians and travelers through Hobby Airport have grown accustomed to eating at various Pappa’s brand restaurants, including Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen." - Courtney E. Smith
In a word: delicious! Although the menu at the airport location is limited, the selection of menu items were pretty good. I believe they offered their most popular items. I ordered the seafood pasta and I devoured the entire dish, it was that good! I also tried the key lime pie for dessert and it was very tasty, although they didn’t make it in house.

Phenomenal! Service was pleasant, food was delicious, and the atmosphere was inviting. Perfect place to sit and relax between flights with top notch food and live jazzy music just across the way. Highly recommend the key lime pie!

The food quality I love about Pappadeax's at the airport was definitely a plus when my flight was delayed. Instead of grabbing fastfood, I had the time to dine at a nice establishment.
The service and presentation of the cuisine and cocktail were as if I were in one of their regular restaurants.
There was a wait, but my phone number was taken and I was contacted within the time stated.

Pappadeaux's Houston Hobby Airport
First I'm not really sure what gate I was at I just know it wasn't anywhere close to gate #2. I got a chance to sit at the bar and I was welcome by bartender Mr. Dominique 5⭐. This guy's multitasking level is epic. How he was able to keep up with everything that was going on around him was unbelievable. Now for me not liking seafood and at one of the most famous seafood restaurants. Mr. Dominique recommend me get the bacon 🥓🍔 cheeseburger. I didn't take a picture of the second one but I had two 🤤. He even told the story of why these burgers are so good and where they get their meat from to cook the burgers 🤯. Between the ready to make adult beverages 🥃 and the key lime pie. This was one of the best experiences I've ever had in an airport 🛫 at a restaurant👍👍.

We were delighted and pleased with our recent lunch here. Josie, our server was pleasant and our food arrived in a timely manner. The seafood gumbo and the gumbo with andouille sausage and seafood were delicious with a deeply flavored broth and fresh crab and shrimp.

Fairly good Cajun cuisine. Good service. The prices are fairly high but somewhat expected for an inside-the-airport restaurant. We had the fried shrimp and chicken tenders and the house salad with seafood gumbo. The gumbo is pretty brothy compared to what I’m used to. The fried shrimp is excellent! The fried chicken tenders were just ok.

One of the nicer places to stop in the airport. It’s about the same price as everywhere else and offers better service and a better experience overall.
We ordered the Mediterranean salad and the lobster bisque soup. While they weren’t as good as the original pappadeaux in town, it was still better than other options in the airport. Drinks were also yummy!

This place was amazing!
I've stopped here before and refused to eat here cause how good is airport food, right? Not good! But this place was super good food flown in fresh daily so all it seafood tasted so good and tasted pretty fresh, made so well too. The staff were so friendly although bombarded with tons of people from lay overs!
If I ever get stuck here again I would choose this place every time!
We had the crab cake which is a must 1 is big enough for two to split. I had the small order of fried shrimp and it was too much for me. My husband had the Ahi or halibut with shrimp and green beans and they were so good!
Great atmosphere but too shoved in there but I get the hustle! Would recommend!
