First time here. From the outside and when you first walk in the door, it appears to be first class, but as you look closer, it is somewhat tired and not as clean and classy as you would expect for this price point. My utensils were still dirty, cloth napkin stained. It was not a good first impression. The food however was quite good except for the salad which had many brown leaves which I had to pick out. Portions were very large, service was good. What's with the half loaf of bread? I would substitute it with something more flavorful

The young lady at the front of the house is the perfect person to greet and seat guest! Her smile and personality sets the tone for what's to come. Q followed up with exceptional service. She was very knowledgeable about the menu in which for me is a must because I can be quite indecisive! We tried a few of the new menu items and they did not disappoint! The outside area is beautiful and serene. The inside including the restrooms were clean.

Service was all over the place, the restaurant was extremely busy. Spent a good amount of waiting, no cups, to go cups had no lids, straws were missing. Could've been just our server but for my first time here, left an odd impression.. food was incredible.

My family enjoyed Pappadeaux restaurant. We went early for lunch and were pleased with all we had. The service was good. The food was fresh and tasty. We ordered oysters pappadeaux, salmon alexander, shrimp and grits, catfish with beans & rice, hot honey glazed gator bites.

Google
Simply the BEST Regional seafood chain in the Country! Fresh seafood, GREAT portions and wonderfully prepared. Although a Texas chain this place is better than 90% of the restaurants in New Orleans. Hint...go for lunch. About half the price of the dinner entrees and huge portions. Had the catfish and crawfish etouffee (substituted crawfish for shrimp), the shrimp and oyster fondue and a cup of gumbo. The fondue is next level and the cup of gumbo had six huge shrimp in it. Only complaint is like everything else these days prices are getting up there...noticed a couple of fish entrees are now over $50.

It was our first time coming here and we decided to make it a lunch date. Made a reservation and was sat right away. Amanda was our waitress and she was so sweet and did an incredible job explaining things to us and making sure we had everything we needed not to mention she was quick and kept our table clear and food brought to us fresh, hot and with a smile. It was an incredible experience and I truly enjoyed it. We tried fried alligator for the first time and I must say everything was absolutely delicious. So thankful we decided to have date day there

Yelp
Second time here, my last was 5 years ago. Today we had an excellent server, Denzel, who was attentive without being intrusive, friendly and overall a great waiter. The three of us started with drinks, and had roasted. oysters for our appetizer. They were cheesy and delicious. We ordered the garlic bread which was sooo good: buttery, cheesy , crisp yet soft. We also had the house bread, warm and crispy and I could have ended the meal right there. I had the shrimp gumbo which was flavorful without being overwhelming or too spicy. It paired well with the bread. My husband had crawfish etouffee, a good sized portion served over rice , well seasoned and tasty. Our friend had the shrimp Alfredo, not too heavy as is typical with Alfredo dishes , but also delicious. We were not going to have any dessert as we were stuffed with leftovers to go, but we saw Denzel carrying a slice of key lime pie to the adjacent table and couldn't resist. It was light and creamy with a primarily graham cracker crust.....mmmmmm. Couldn't finish that, either. Once again, Denzel was outstanding which increased our overall enjoyment. Beautiful setting, clean and spacious although intimate at the same time.

Yelp
I went to Pappadeaux for lunch for my birthday 7/28 and I was very disappointed! The inside is always stunning and clean but it doesn't make up for the service we had. 1st I went specifically for the alligator and that changed. It is a smaller portion I really only had about 10 pieces and the new sauce that comes with it doesn't match the taste of alligator in my opinion. I talk to my server about the size difference and he said I had the largest size they offer and made it a large for us but didn't ask if that was what I wanted. The service was super slow we were there from 1:15pm to around 3:45pm. We asked for napkins and never received them and then it took more than 15 mins to get the check. My food came out wrong I asked for blacked catfish with red beans and rice but then received my meal and it was fried fish that actually didn't have too much flavor so I had to send my food back. The highlight of my time there was the birthday dessert and I got the turtle brownie. Sadly I don't think I will be returning to Pappadeaux after this visit.

Yelp
was great! This spot is unlike any place I've been to before, with a strong New Orleans vibe that really comes through in the food. The menu is full of Southern staples, and everything we tried was full of bold, well-balanced flavors. The drinks were also decent and paired nicely with the meal. I had the redfish in a brown white wine sauce with dirty rice, shrimp, and crab meat--and wow, it was delicious. Every element was seasoned perfectly, and the flavors blended together beautifully. You can tell the kitchen really knows what they're doing when it comes to layering flavor. The Mississippi catfish was another standout. The dirty rice, the crab, the sauce--it all came together in the best way. Seriously, if you're a fan of Southern-style seafood, this dish is a must-try. We also ordered the shrimp and crawfish dip with garlic bread, and it was the perfect starter. The dip had just the right consistency--not too thick, not too watery--and the garlic bread was a great touch. If I had one critique, it would be the pricing. While I do understand you're paying for quality, it was a bit on the pricey side and could be more affordable for the average working person. Still, this place made a strong impression, and I'll definitely be back. The flavors, the vibe, and the variety make it worth the trip!

Yelp
Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen located in Cincinnati, OH Food: I Visted with a party of five, we order crab cakes, Cobb salad, gumbo, chicken tenders and shrimp. The Cobb salad was impressive, the chicken tenders complemented everything that going on with it. Everyone loved the shrimp and crab cakes. Service: Great service, things started off slow when the hostess told us it a 30 minute wait and the restaurant was particularly empty (low staff). Nevertheless we were seated within 10-15 minutes. Ambiance: I love the decor and overall ambiance each no matter where you dine looks exactly the same outside with the fountains and patio seating also inside from the bar and dining areas.

Yelp
Basically OVERPRICED and over spiced! The seafood was either drenched in butter or sauce which masked the flavor even though we told our waitress LIGHT SAUCE. Our server was fine but she offered us garlic bread without telling us it was extra. On top of that, the bread was overly spiced and when we complained, she brought out a loaf of plain bread but at least didn't charge us for it. The house chardonnay was a whopping $79 a bottle which jacked our bill to almost $200. We could have gotten a better meal at a first rate steakhouse for less. We won't be coming back here anytime soon.

Yelp
We hadn't been to Pappadeaux in many, many years. The first thing I noticed was the interior hasn't changed a bit. This isn't necessarily a bad thing because it looks just like it did many, many years ago, i.e. just as clean with nothing feeling old or dated. We had reservations on a Thursday at 5 PM for six. Our waiter was kind and got everything off to a great start. He didn't make a lot of visits to the table after the food arrived, but he seemed to be there when we needed him. I can only speak to what Mark and I ate and it was delicious. I had the Seafood Tagliatelle Pasta. It was a LOT of food. The flavor was great and the octopus was definitely the star. It was the most plentiful pasta topping in the bowl and I was more than fine with that. It was tender and delicious. Mark had the Rib Eye. He ordered it medium rare. When it arrived, the waiter mentioned the kitchen had overcooked it and he was going to bring another. Before he left, Mark tried it and it seemed perfect. It looked medium rare to me. Mark loved it. Even though it's been years, I remember the food always being very good. I'm glad to see the taste of the food, like the decor, hasn't changed.

Yelp
Mudbugs, Mudbugs, Mudbugs.... Met Mudbugs at Pappadeaux in Houston 60 years ago - delightful. Make an effort to enjoy Pappdeaux in a number of US cities Pappadeaux in Springdale is a smaller version of Pappadeaux restaurants and offers a bare bones menu. Today's agenda includes a visits to the narrow busy streets of unplanned west Cincinnati with a ton stop lights, narrow alleys, and lack of planning. Our goal is to collect a few Lladro pieces for various nieces and nephew. My charming wife is never adverse to dining at Pappadeax, Springdale, which we might enjoy 3-4 times annually. No need of menu; it will be a combination shrimp and crawfish Étouffée on white rice. Always, always excellent service in this small property, and we elect our usual window table.

Yelp
Quick and attentive service. Sat at the bar for a quick bite and a drink...nice setting with a center bar and private room dining for larger parties. Food was very tasty. Had an appetizer at the bar and took some food home. Additional photos may follow. If you like seafood and a Cajun twist, this is the place to go.

Yelp
I still enjoy Pappadeaux to satisfy my seafood cravings. Headed there for an early dinner. Service was friendly and fast. Restaurant and restrooms were clean. This visit I got the Sampler Platter again, but the options have changed. It now includes catfish, fries, chicken strips, crawfish, and shrimp all fried to perfection. Side portions were large. Ended up taking food home along with a yummy gumbo to go. I'll be back soon.

Yelp
The service alone will bring me back here. Everyone was so nice and attentive. I brought my cousin for her birthday and we enjoyed every bit of our visit. We tried the oysters that were so good. I got the Mississippi Catfish with the shrimp Etouffee and dirty rice. And she got the Mardi Gras Pasta. SO GOOD! We also grabbed drinks, only right, right? Peach Dusse Sidebar and Swampthingy. So flavorful!!! A turtle brownie with ice cream dessert was gifted to her for her birthday. The staff were all so friendly, the restaurant wasn't full but stayed busy. We sat in the bar area which was really nice. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Pappadeaux's has always been high up on my list of seafood restaurants to try due to all of the positive reviews I had heard from family members and friends. So, I was very surprised when we (my parents, daughter, and I) did not have the same positive experience that many of my other family members and friends had previously had. Service - Our service was extremely poor. Our server forgot about one of the appetizers we had ordered (oysters), she left empty dishes/plates on our table (from our appetizers and salads) that there was literally no room for our dinner plates when they arrived, and she never came back around for refills of our drinks until she handed us our bill. Food - Please see my reviews below. Garlic Bread - This was good! These were thick slices of toast coated in scampi style butter and oregano. Yum! Lobster Bisque - This was also good; however, I found a tiny piece of lobster shell in the bisque while I was eating it. The bisque is rich in flavor and has large chunks of lobster in it! So good! House Salad - This was your typical house salad. Pasta Mardi Gras - This was my dish and I couldn't even eat half of it - it was so salty! The sausage and shrimp were extremely overcooked as well! Seafood Pasta - This was my mom's dish. She enjoyed it, but agreed that her pasta was super salty as well. She enjoyed the octopus the most in her dish - she said that it was nice and tender! Texas Red Fish and Crab - This was my dad's dish. It seemed to be a healthier dish and was made into a smaller portion. There was very little crab as well. We ended up adding a baked potato to the dish so that it seemed a little more full. The baked potato was extra large in size. My dad said that he enjoyed his dish! I really liked the sauce to this dish too! Parmesan Buttered Noodles - This was my daughter's dish. She enjoyed them as she cleaned her plate! Our bill was $200 and I honestly do not feel that the food nor service were worth that cost! I am not sure that I would ever go back...sorry!

Yelp
Never falls short for the items I order. The best key lime pie. Always super busy and crowded. Make reservations or go when it's slow.

Yelp
This was my first time eating oysters and they were amazing! I strongly recommend eating them roasted.

Yelp
If you like crawfish, I highly recommend the crawfish trio, which is not on the menu. I recommend bringing a friend to help. We have them split it in half, and even half is a LOT of food. I as much of my hand as I could and will have enough for another meal. The fried shrimp doesn't do well reheated, so focus on it. The third buttery crawfish sauce ... I think they call it Alexander. Sauce is beyond good for dipping... plus you can get garlic bread instead of regular bread, yummmm. They have a decent dessert selection but rarely have any room to add it ... maybe take yo go. I've had the banana pudding and cheese cake. But this time, no dessert. Our server was a very friendly lady ...Ashley L was great. Will say prices here are a bit too much, but we got 3 meals from it.

Yelp
The way the manager speak to their employees is disgusting and highly unprofessional completely ruined our experience. Also have seen a FEW roaches in the ceilings and under tables..

Yelp
First time eating at the restaurant. First our waiter Pat was EXCELLENT. Our food was seasoned and prepared wonderfully. Can't wait to visit Cincinnati again to eat here .

Yelp
Food was outstanding..we arrived around 1:00 and the lunch special was available. We started with the crab and spinach dip (outstanding) and the mozzarella cheese bites! There is a large menu with several other great appetizers to begin with. Our server gave us ample time to enjoy our apps before he asked our lunch orders. We had a party of eight so the dishes varied. My spouse had the fried catfish platter served with red beans and rice, I had a cup of shrimp cuts with a side of red beans and rice. Other dishes included grilled shrimp and grits, ginger blazed salmon, and the filet mignon. The salad's served prior to the meal were fresh! Now let me remind you we had the lunch menu, and when the food came to the table was over the top proportions. The platters were so delicious and the food was served in large portions!! No complaints! Our server was a pro! He knew his menu very very well. He covered everything leaving no questions to ask! He visited our table about three times. Never an empty glass nor did he leave dirty dishes on the table. Definitely an employee you want in your establishment. He represented the eatery well! Ambience was outstanding as well. It's a big restaurant with plenty of seating, and for a midday lunch the place was extremely busy! Clean restrooms and a great greet when we entered. Pappadeaux was a great restaurant and I'd definitely recommend you stop by

Yelp
Justin B. was my server. He was attentive and outstanding. One of the best servers ever. The dining area is beautiful. Peaceful and serene atmosphere at dinnertime. Everything was so clean......even the restrooms. Our food was absolute perfection. The Pappadeaux House Salad is one of the best salads I have ever had at any restaurant. The Alligator Appitizer was excellent. I am from Florida and this Alligator was tender and fried just right. The sauce that accompanied it was so tasty. The Grouper and crab was good. The size of the grouper was quite large. My Crawfish Combination was also good. I had enough to take home and make another meal. Pappadeaux is my new favorite restaurant in Cincinnati. If you have not been here....You are missing out on some good food. I would highly recommend that you ask for Justin B. He is wonderful.

Yelp
Outstanding meal! Our server was friendly, helpful, and efficient. I'm a little irritated they took shrimp and grits off the dinner menu. But I had the shrimp etouffee, and it was incredible! My wife had the Filet Mignon Oscar - basically said it was the best steak she'd ever had in her life. I had a few bites and would agree. Phenomenal! Can't even describe how good this was. The Ceaser Salad and garlic bread were both perfect, too. The ceaser had a little bit of a vinegar bite to it. Not bad - just giving an fyi. Pappadeaux is one of my favorite restaurant chains worldwide, and this location does not disappoint! Great job!

Yelp
Never been but really enjoyed it here! The pasta was definitely the best thing we got. I'd come back!

Yelp
My husband and I stopped into Pappadeaux after a day trip and had a great dinner! We stopped in on a Monday and the restaurant was very quiet, yay for no crowds! Justin was our server, super friendly, and great at what he does. We started off with the Crab and Spinach dip with Parmesan Crostini, and sweet tea. The crab spinach dip was creamy, and with just a little tanginess. The crab and spinach spread really nicely on the parmesan crostini, and it was a great size appetizer. If I wasn't super hungry, the appetizer would've been great as a meal itself. The sweet tea was great, fresh and not syrupy sweet. It was so good I had two glasses which rarely happens. I ordered the Fried Catfish fillets with French Fries for dinner and had enough to take home. The three fillets were not greasy, and a great size. The fries were just as tasty. My husband had the stuffed crab dinner which came with two stuffed crabs and fries. We've eaten at Pappadeaux locations in Houston, and San Antonio, so it's great to have a location closer to us in Cincinnati. We had a great dinner and will definitely be back!

Yelp
Wonderful food. The service was amazing. I went early on a Sunday. I was quickly sat down. There wasn't a wait. The drinks were amazing definitely got you tipsy! The food was the bomb!

Yelp
I've always heard about this place but never had opportunity to go until this past October. My close friend and I went and we had a great time the way it was longer than anticipated, but nevertheless, we were seated and we both ordered the Atlantic Salmon Alexander. It has salmon, dirty rice, scallops and that sauce was the best. I would highly recommend. Make sure you pair it with a drink that you like. Just not the WATER.
google avatar

Amy W.

Yelp
Pappadeaux is a must stop when we come to the Cincinnati area. Everything about it is fantastic; food, drinks, atmosphere, service... EVERYTHING! Our server Denzel was attentive & friendly. He recommended the Pappadeaux Oysters and they were so delicious. Wish we had a Pappadeaux at home. Until then, we will look forward to returning here whenever we're in town.
google avatar

Yelp
Mother's Day Dinner celebration was amazing! Best meal I've had here! Both service & food were amazing!
google avatar

Ro W.

Yelp
The food is tasty and made to order, so you'll be there for a minute. I wish they would make a price adjustment on the spinach dip if you get it without meat. The drinks were also good. The food is pricey but definitely worth it. The restaurant was clean, but the bathroom was dirty, and there were ants. It shouldn't be a big deal, but we got there soon after they opened. So the bathrooms should've been cleaned. I think there were maybe 2 or 3 other tables with people when we arrived. So, it wasn't busy at all. This was my second time going in April, and the experience was the same with the food and bathroom.
google avatar

Amber C.

Yelp
Love this chain but tonight's experience was not a good one. Service was slow and food wasn't up to its usual standards. And management didn't even bother to help out when our server couldn't hang.

Murrell K.

Yelp
We have eaten here several times over the last several years. It has always been very good. Yesterday though, the Pasta Mardis Gras and the Atlantic Salmon Alexander were superb. Yep as you expect, prices have gone up too, but the food was worth it. Amanda was our server and did great job, thank you. Also, be aware, the hot Garlic Buttered Bread is beyond good. Do not get it unless you are really hungry. Guaranteed to ruin your appetite. There was VooDoo Ranger on tap. What more do you need.
google avatar

Joey S.

Yelp
Came in here with a couple of friends recently. I had been here years ago as well, but I don't recall if I enjoyed it then. This trip we sat at the bar. I will say the service was very good and the food was exceptional. The place is very clean and I will have to say it was worth it. I will be back and I have to say the salmon salad was wonderful.
google avatar

Isabel E.

Yelp
If you have never been here it is definitely worth a try. It's a place I always recommend for birthdays or celebrations. Getting their season food is always a good move since it is fresh. I was sad to see grits were no longer a dinner side, but these carrots were a great addition to my meal. (Not pictured) We ordered the greek salad and it was amazing! It wasn't as packed as previous years, but I would still recommend making a reservation for dinner. Lunch tends to be less busy.
google avatar

Kenneth L.

Yelp
The waiter was on point and very helpful with the menu. Our food was delicious and the restaurant had a really great vibe.

Yelp
Food 10/10 Madi gras pasta & lobster bites. Extremely flavorful and served hot! Service 10/10 Josh at the bar got me together! From the food to the drinks! I had the expresso martini and peach sidecar. Ambiance 10/10 I went when the first opened so I had the restaurant to myself.
google avatar

Anne S.

Yelp
Professional energetic customer service. Delia, the server, knows the client base well. She made recommendations based on possible preferences we'd like. Service was quick, presentation appealing. Catfish was good, blacken nicely and flavorful. The crusty bread, delightful. Food portions were filling too.
google avatar

Joshua B.

Yelp
Interesting experience. Took about 10 minutes to get served at our table. Then maybe another 15 to get our drink orders which were just beers. Ordered the chicken tenderloins and it was literally just chicken strips. Although they were good. Baked potato was actually the highlight and our server gave me extra toppings when he'd noticed I had eaten all the toppings with a lot of potato left. Very over priced. Terrible service. It's definitely supposed to be an upscale cajun type place and it seemed like it, just overshadowed by the bad experience.

Dana H.

Yelp
The experience (I can't say just food), was wonderful. For our 20thanniversary, my wife and I had an excellent mid afternoon lunch/ dinner today. We had a variety of seafood, including, fried calamari, octopus, fried oysters, a soft shell crab and pan seared grouper. The fried foods were excellent, as usual, but the grouper was the best I've ever had! Service was very attentive and the ambience was festive and full of friendliness!
google avatar

Keith W.

Yelp
Great seafood place. We had the shrimp and crayfish fondesux and raw oysters. Both were excellent. Nice atmosphere and great service. A little pricy but worth it.
google avatar

Taffanee K.

Yelp
I have a strong belief in if you can't say nothing nice, say nothing. But in this instance, must update my review from years past. While the food remains delicious the service is less than poor. It is shame for an establishment like this to not properly train their staff. From the greeters to the wait staff, congeniality is not in their repertoire. It was more than clear that our waitress was far from interested in doing her job. From receiving the incorrect meal, to being dismissive when asked for a dessert menu, her demeanor was crude to say the least. Dear manager I am not going to out the waitress, if you would like to know who she is, please contact me.
google avatar

Yelp
Appetizers were good size portions & were very tasty!!! Entree's were also good size portions & also were very good!!! Hannah was our server & she was outstanding!!! Explained different items & how they were seasoned!!! Very good with refills & just did everything right!!! THANK YOU for an OUTSTANDING NIGHT OUT!!!! Very clean with great decor!!! Will come back when visiting again & HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Yelp
Made a reservation for (3) for Father's Day. Table service was great and attentive the entire meal. Food was brought to the table in a timely manner. Taste (savory) and temperature (hot) when food arrived at the table for as busy as the restaurant was at 3pm in the afternoon. Restaurant inviting, clean and staff very friendly! Highly suggest the 3 piece catfish, dirty rice was okay - a little dry but good. Crème brûlée delicious! Sweet potato pecan pie recommended if you try this restaurant ( a little nutty and would be better if served warm). Gumbo was fantastic and hearty. Tried alligator for the first time and it did not disappoint; sauce served with it a little spicy but good. Definitely try this restaurant if looking for some good seafood!

Karen B.

Yelp
What we received was good but part of the order was missing. We called them and received a gift card. Good customer service.
google avatar

Na'Shota L.

Yelp
*update- i tried the website the manager left below and it doesnt work. Food was great! Service we received, from the hostess stand to our server, left much to be desired. We were ignored and forgotten about. We even ordered a large platter to split based on the servers recommendation. It was not split evenly at all. But the taste of the food made up for the errors and lack of customer service.
google avatar

Yelp
OMG! the lemon butter sauce, seasoning, and grilled to perfection! I have zero complaints. I substituted the potatoes for a baked potato which is an up-charge. The proportions are fulfilling. It's 16oz! Thank me later.

Yelp
I'm shocked that I'm even giving this place a bad review. Let's start with the fact that this is one of my favorite seafood restaurants. I was really excited to have dinner here. When I say I literally told a few of my family members and friends that I was coming here today. I was that excited. Well it's my first time at this specific location. I could not tell where the front entrance was. I just parked where I saw all the cars parked and it happened to be the back of the restaurant. I didn't even know it was the back until I entered. I walk in what looks like the back of the restaurant. There's one employee sitting down looking like he was on a little break. I walked by him and ended up walking by the bar extremely confused because not only was I struggling to recognize where was the main entrance, not one employee even cared to greet me or guide me or ask me where would I like to sit. So I just sat myself at the bar. I sat one chair away from these two female customers. They brought me the menu and I order my seafood gumbo and halibut shrimp which was delicious. But I'm also observing the employees behavior and service. The two girls that was sitting next to me had the employees most undivided attention. Which is absolutely great. But why didn't I get any attention? Let's start with the gumbo. After the bartender brought me the gumbo. She just walks away. She looked busy which I was a bit confused because there were only 4 customers sitting at the bar with myself included. So I sat there to see how long would it take for the bartender to ask me if I needed anything because I wanted some tabasco sauce. While the two girls next to me was given tabasco sauce and utensils etc without them even having to ask. Another waiter asks me if I needed anything. I said yes tabasco please. Shortly after my entree arrives. Wow the plate just looked amazing. I can tell it was going to taste really good. It kind of felt racial as well since I'm Puerto Rican but I look American and the girls that they gave their undivided attention to were black. And the employees that ignored me are also black. I never experienced these kind of issues from my own people. Very sad. And with a $70 tab. They need to do better. But guess what??? No one brought me any utensils to eat my food. Guess how long it took anyone to notice that I was trying to get their attention? 8 minutes! It took 8 minutes for her to ask do you need anything? I said yes no one has given me any utensils to eat my food. And can you believe not even an apology? I was calm and collective the entire time but when I'm upset, it shows. My facial expressions show for itself. But while also waiting those entire 8 minutes. I took a picture of several of the employees near me. All of them talking to each other and not paying attention to the customers and none of them even noticed I took pictures of all them and I made it obvious. And the way they passed me the check like if they was disgusted with me. They didn't even ask me if I wanted desert. And I was going to order desert but the way they brought me my tab like if they was disgusted with me. I'm surprised I didn't bother asking to speak to a manager. I will NEVER come back to this place again.

Yelp
Food was excellent. Service was extremely slow! Had reservations at 7pm. It's 9:30 and still waiting on checks. Missing Caesar salad, dirty rice, wrong steak cooked incorrectly. Checks were incorrect too. Other than that it was fine!

Yelp
Pappadeaux Seafood never disappoints! They have made some changes since our last visit. We live in Indy so we can't come as much as we would like. The changes did not hurt the taste or quality of the food. I ordered my usual swamp thing but hubby went for the purple voodoo. I went for the large since well why not...lol. We started with the shrimp and crawfish fondue-- it was excellent. This was a new dish for us. Cheesy and full of seafood and spanich. The French bread was perfect for dipping. I always order the Greek salad-- I love that they make it at the table and ask if you want all of the ingredients. They changed the lettuce selection- it enhanced the flavor. I went for my usual-- the lump crab cakes. They are sooo good! The flavor and lump crab all the way through. It is still my favorite. Hubby got the catfish with shrimp, mussels, and dirty rice. He said it was awesome. The portions were huge so he took half home. I was full from the fondue and salad so I took most of my crab cakes home. The server took us to this smaller room off to the side of the bar. At first I wasn't sure about it but when the other tables left it felt intimate and romantic. It was like we had our own private room. Two servers were taking care of us so we felt special. Pappadeax Seafood thanks for a wonderful dinner with hubby.

Yelp
We had a great dinner this evening! My husband and I split the Greek salad to start and we really liked it. Fresh, great flavor. For our entree, we split the Atlantic salmon Alexander with dirty rice. It was excellent! It had tons of flavor, and the salmon was cooked perfectly. Our waitress was also great. She was kind, speedy, and made great recommendations! This would be a great place to go during the summer too because there is such a nice outdoor area that would have been fun to enjoy.

Yelp
I don't have the opportunity to eat here enough. Great food at all times of the year.

Yelp
Service was outstanding! Food was phenomenal, especially the seafood fondue. Happy hour was a plus, with reasonably priced drinks.

Yelp
I'm not impressed with your service or your Prices too high for pasta $42.00 that's like a 300%markup!! You must be crazy
