Visited during our trip to Lowell. Good Indian food. Biryani was good but spicy. We ordered mild but the biryani spice level was more than medium for sure. Service was good. Nice place to eat if looking for Indian food in Lowell location. Menu has variety of items.

We went for a quick lunch with family and ordered a simple yet satisfying meal: Tandoori Naans, Tandoori Rotis, Chicken Manchurian, and Chana Masala. The food was absolutely delicious! The Chana Masala, in particular, exceeded all expectations — the flavor was just wow. Tandoori Rotis were perfectly made — soft, fresh, and full of taste. Service was prompt and the ambience was pleasant. I highly recommend trying the "Chana Masala" for vegetarians if you visit this restaurant!

When the wife is away somebody has to take care of your Sunday biryani cravings ? I got you… introducing ( drumroll) Paradise … I have eaten at this spot a zillion times, never reviewed it. Truth be told, most of the times the biryani has been stellar, however there have been times when it has been below average. At this location my preference is to order a chicken biryani, IMHO better than the mutton biryani. Also this time I ordered the Hyderabadi mutton masala, hmm yum really good creamy, rich flavorful gravy with juicy succulent mutton pieces. The guy at the takeout counter is always great, polite and always smiling. I generally do a take out so I can’t say anything about the wait staff. Enjoy the biryani guys !

Google
Great Food and service. I couldn’t give five stars due to the atmosphere. The ambience isn’t as great. We ordered gongura paneer and veg biriyani and both tasted awesome. Medium spice was a lil too spicy for us, we eat good spice level usually. The salan that came with biriyani is blandddddd and tasteless. But the quantities are good. Dosa is fine and sambhar is below par. They have a kids menu but not many options which is a downside. I really feel many Indian restaurants ignore the fact that kids need a lil something to be busy. If they offered a couple of crayons or something would be great. But great adult menu selection, and lots of vegetarian options Parking and High chairs available.

Google
Had a hankering for Indian food, and a friend recommended this spot. Chicken Biryani and Mutton Biryani are equally mouthwatering. Once you're in India, you won't even notice that you're not eating at a restaurant.

Google
Solid Biryani spot. I got the Goat Biryani and Lollipop Chicken(around $30 total). They are halal btw which is a plus! Biryani was great. They were not shy with meats. Solid taste overall. It came with raita and a brown sauce(very nutty flavor). Lollipop chicken surprisingly was very tasty with less breading than other places. I have had Lollipop chicken before in Virginia. I think this is one of the better ones I tried. I think they may use food coloring to make it red. I hope not. 7.5/10 taste. Plenty of parking but the road sucks. It was busy during the weekend. I think it is a local spot. I waited around 20 mins for my order (wasn’t bad). Customer service wasn’t the best but not a dealbreaker. It was okay so no complaints. Overall a solid biryani spot and I do recommend the goat biryani if you are okay with goat meat.

The food is good, although the service is weird. Our waitress was looking in all directions but ours while taking the order. There were a couple of extra glasses on our table and instead of taking them away, she started interrogating folks in the next booth about whether they had placed them on our table. Weird. Very distracted staff. The seats are sort of flimsy. The round tables don't make it very convenient to have a meal with another person. The booths are okay, but some of the seats are ripped and taped. The biryani is usually good, but the last time that I went , I didn't have a very good experience.

When I heard about Paradise Biryani Pointe's good reputation and read positive reviews, I was excited to try their food. Unfortunately, my experience at this particular branch was really bad. I ordered biryani and appetizers, and was told that the biryani would take 5 minutes to prepare, while the appetizers would take 15 minutes. However, the appetizers arrived after a 30-minute delay, and the biryani came even later, after 45 minutes. Despite being given multiple assurances that my order was almost ready, these turned out to be false. I was also disappointed by the ambiance of the restaurant. The music being played on TV was really irritating, and as an Indian myself, I did not appreciate the music choice. However, the worst part of my experience was the biryani itself. The rice was overcooked, soggy/watery making it unappetizing and disappointing. As a result, I will not be returning to this branch of Paradise Biryani Pointe, as it did not meet my expectations, which had been set by the standards of other branches. To make matters worse, the restaurant only provided two plates for our group of four people, which added to the overall poor experience. I had to request additional plates and wait an additional 10 minutes for them to arrive, which only made things worse. It's worth noting that I am a food enthusiast and have tried many Indian restaurants in the past. When I heard about the reputation of Paradise Biryani Pointe, I was eager to give them a try, hoping to add another great restaurant to my list. However, my experience at this branch was disappointing, especially given the high standards I had come to expect from other branches of the chain. Despite this negative experience, I remain hopeful that the other branches of Paradise Biryani Pointe will live up to their reputation.

Yelp
Chicken 65 and Chicken Tikka Masala were delicious. Tandoori chicken with chillies and malai chicken were both good. Chicken biryani Goat sukha both had no taste and were dry. Overall, Hot food with good portions, will order again from here.

Yelp
Food is good but too much ghee which feels strange after and too long a wait for dine-in. Not sure if they do dine-in anymore.
google avatar

Amanpreet S.

Yelp
Famous for its biryani, but the biryani was very average. Decent place for dine in, and good ambience. But the food is pretty average.
google avatar

SaSa S.

Yelp
Ww did a take out. Mutton biryani was perfect. Chicken 65 and Chicken tandoori were delicious too. However, Chicken biryani was a bit dry and had to use raita to be able to eat it. Overall happy to have this place near by.

Krish C.

Yelp
Inconsistent quality. We had chicken biryani and a couple of different chicken dishes couple of times. Ordered special chicken biryani , kabab and a chicken dish Chicken dish was great Biryani was dry . The regular chicken biryani we had earlier was MUCH better Kabab was the worst one ... dry, hard.

Kale D.

Yelp
Best Indian food northwest of Boston. Chicken Korma and Paneer Tikka Masala is excellent. Always promptly ready when ordered online. Very happy to have found this little place.

Elif D.

Yelp
We like their foods much especially chicken wings which is the best. ..............................................

Yelp
Came back here after a long hiatus. ;) Not much has changed. Food is still amazing. Server and service were baaaaaad...... The waiter may have some attention deficit disorder or something... While taking our order, he would walk away in the middle of a sentence, and come back, and repeat this circus a few times. And he would start laughing on his own, maybe the voices in his head said something funny, who knows, he didn't share with us. Or perhaps the permanent Christmas decorations made him really happy? Who knows. 1-star for service and timing! Customers who came after us were served before us. We had to wait over 40 minutes to get served any food. Don't go there if you're in a hurry. It ain't 'fast' food for sure. ... oh, one more thing. They serve lassis in disposable plastic Solo cups, and serve Chai in paper coffee cups. WTH?? Now, what about the food? We ordered Chana Masala, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Biryani, rice and naan. Everything was soooooooo good! Especially the Chana Masala (chick peas)! OMG! So deliciously spicy! Would definitely go back for that!! (but I'll order takeout next time...) Salted lassi was amazing. Sooooo thick! Great food, in great company, but bad server and service. (OMG! (Some of) This food was sooooooooooooo hard to digest! We went there for lunch. I couldn't eat dinner, and at 10:30pm I was STILL burping this food.)
google avatar

Arunendra S.

Yelp
Chloe bhature was quite good ! Meat centric dishes were average and will do in a pinch but I still need to look for my go-to biryani spot.
google avatar

Bhavna V.

Yelp
Horrible spl. Chicken biryani... biryani rice mixed with orange colored , too spicy boneless chicken pieces.

Yelp
Back to me and my friends favorite Indian food restaurant! This time I introduced a friend to the delicious food this place has to offer. She has never eaten Indian cuisine before so we got a few things for her to try. This round we ordered roti and naan. She had never had naan but had had roti so we thought to get both. We also ordered a plate of Somosa. For entrees we ordered butter chicken, chicken tikka Marsala, chicken Biryani and Chana marsala. We also got dessert which was a bread pudding. It was crunchy yet soft and I was totally loving it. She loved everything but the Chana Marsala but that was mine anyways. We all enjoyed the food and she is extremely excited to go back when the time is right. We will be come back!

Mario S.

Yelp
Can't ever get enough of the butter chicken curry. I get it with the garlic naan and an extra side of rice. Definitely my favorite dish at the moment.

Peter T.

Yelp
Chicken Tikka masala was mainly just salty. Not a lot of spice or tomato flavor. Pieces of chicken were tender though and not overcooked. Portion size is okay for the price.

Yelp
We went here for the first time and we were disappointed. We ordered paneer 65, tandoori chicken, mango lassi, salted lassi, malai kofta with garlic Naan and chicken biryani ; out of which only one main course dish my husband liked (what they're famous for) -- which was the chicken biryani. Honestly everything was so crappy about the place that I didn't have high expectations a soon as I walked in. The ambience and service are terrible. There was only one server trying to serve at least 8 tables, so everything was slow, things were forgotten and he was just out of the place. I want to specifically say the malai kofta looked so bad and unappetizing that I lost my appetite. And once I tasted it I was assured it's the worst dish I've ever had. It looked like barf. Never going back. Go at your own risk

Bhuvan G.

Yelp
Best chicken biryani in new england area of all the places i tried so far in last 20 years.

Yelp
Can use just one word "Awesome" !!! One of the best biriyani I have ever tasted. Took us a while to reach there :). Tried the paradise special chicken and fish biriyani and it was mouth watering. The long rice, fried chicken, excellent combination of spices and what not, everything made it more flavourful and tasty. Couldn't find a single flaw in comparison with so many "so-called" authentic Indian/Asian cuisine hangouts. They had ample parking. Located right next to Indian Grocery shop, it's a bonus ;). Found the place small and a bit congested. Good for takeout. Kudos to Paradise Biriyani Pointe & team for maintaining the flavours and serving us with some of the finest dishes in the exact way it deserves to be served.

Yelp
I ordered Goat Biryani for takeout. The biryani was great. I ordered through Yelp but for some reason when i arrived there they said they had not received the order at all but they were very kind and proactive to immediately take my order and prepare it and give it in a few minutes.
google avatar

Xavier K.

Yelp
As a brown guy I was pretty disappointed. I got the goat Biryani to go and the portion was SO small that I almost cried. Don't get me wrong it tasted great but for $17 it was kind of a ripoff. I most definitely won't be back.

Kedar S.

Yelp
Great tasting food, plentiful portions. Docking a point for not being ready during pickup window . Recommend in general, order early.

Hannah C.

Yelp
Best Indian cuisine I've had in all of MA. No place comes even close. Paradise Biryani is definitely more a takeout place rather than sit-down restaurant, but the food is delicious, great serving sizes, great prices, and the employees have always been polite. Could eat from here every day.
google avatar

Anoop V.

Yelp
If you've ever missed the biriyani at Meghana's in Bangalore, this is the place to get your fix. Order the Special Chicken Biriyani - boneless and mmmm! Get the Hariyali Kabab as well if you're here - chicken marinated in a paste of spinach, fenugreek leaves, green chilies, coriander leaves, more green ingredients and barbecued.
google avatar

Tejas S.

Yelp
This place has become like my monthly dose of biryani.. their special boneless chicken biryani is amazing.....
google avatar

Rima K.

Yelp
Oh my goodness 4 stars for the chicken Biryani from here and the lollipop chicken, both are so delicious! My total came out to about $29 for both items which is a bit pricey but completely worth it. The chicken lollipops are this bright red, warm crispy wings bursting with flavor and moist inside. It's the perfect balance of spices so it's not too hot or too bland and they don't overdip them in too much batter where the meat to batter ratio is off. The Biryani is AMAZING as well, loose grains of fluffy basmati, two generous pieces of chicken packed with flavor and moisture. The chicken is not dry at all the way some places tend to make it. I feel like it's been very well marinated and you can also get those chunks of masala inside the Biryani which is so tasty. It includes a piece of egg, onion, and also a lime packed in a tight container filled to the brim. The raita is watery but that is okay. MUST TRY BOTH!

Yelp
I went here for lunch with a group of 8 from work and, since we were all driving a good distance during a lunch break, we ordered ahead. This was a great idea since all the food came out a couple minutes after we sat down, and it was piping hot and delicious!! It may not be the fanciest looking biryani I've ever had, but taste-wise it's for sure the best. I had the paneer + veg, some coworkers had chicken, other's had mutton - every single person loved theirs. The paneer in mine was a little extra fried and delicious, veggies were on point too (no pun intended). 100% perfect spice level: not overly hot, but good heat + flavor to it (some of my coworkers toned it down w/ raita but everyone was happy). Because of the large mains, we didn't get any appetizers, so can't comment on those. Desert wise, I thought I was way too full for even a bit, but one of my coworkers insisted we all split a couple orders of Double Ka Meetha, and I'm glad he did - absolutely delicious!! Lowell is pretty far away for me but I can't wait to go back here and will for sure save a bit of a room for a desert this time. I just wish I could find some Biriyani this good in Boston, Cambridge or Somerville.

Kimberly S.

Yelp
I'm not from the area (from RI) and was actually looking for a different Indian restaurant - but after a couple of wrong turns found this place and I'm very glad! I had the samosa which were delicious - then ordered the paneer tikka masala which was also excellent! In other places, paneer tikka has also had some veggies which I like - but wouldn't change anything else!
google avatar

Nirmal M.

Yelp
One word, skip. Overpriced food , doesn't even worth half the price they charge. Tried Chana Masala, egg Bhurji.
google avatar

Marc T.

Yelp
Amazing authentic south Indian food. Spicy! Worth the trip to Lowell, Mass, right beside a great Cambodian place.

Navya S.

Yelp
As a hardcore biryani fan, this is by far the Best biryani in New England area! Every bite was so flavorful and the way biryani is supposed to be prepared! I can keep coming to this place again and again. All other places are overrated
google avatar

M K.

Yelp
Would definitely recommend this place! Just based on the service. The server was just so nice, it was our first time there and he offered us a discount - it was just refreshing going to a place where they actually care about the customer and are genuine not just because they want a good tip. The best thing we ordered was Tandoori Chicken Chillies. It was absolutely delicious! As a added bonus the place is halal!
google avatar

Jennifer V.

Yelp
Delicious food ! Have been to this place about 20 times welcoming staff ! Love their mango lassi , tandoori chicken chili , chicken briyani ! Great plus Halal Food !!
google avatar

Sunil M.

Yelp
The food is decent, not too great. It's not like Chicago Paradise Biryani Pointe that I used to frequent few years ago. I ordered a lamb biryani, which was very greasy, the lemon flavor was too strong. I wouldn't go out of my way to get the food
google avatar

Chhavi P.

Yelp
Good food, good service, clean environment this is what we look for before entering a restaurant. With my experience at "Biryani Point" they have always nailed it. After moving from NYC to MA, you can imagine how picky we must be. But I tell you folks we are here every week for Chicken Biryani, Kadhai Paneer, Gobhi Manchurian and Haryali Kabab. Hope you all enjoy trying this place!!
google avatar

Naveen K.

Yelp
worst place to have biryani... Food is not fresh, I ordered Manchurian and I got it ice cold inside. When asked, they told this will be cooked in morning and they heat it in oven..
google avatar

Pradeep R.

Yelp
Chicken Manchurian Pepper chicken Goat biriyani That was what we had and all of them were delicious.
google avatar

Akshaey S.

Yelp
The best biryani spot in the area. Right from their special chicken to goat it's amazing. I always prefer pickup and the orders always there on time.
google avatar

Arun I.

Yelp
I have only ever taken out from here. They good at are authentic South Indian specialities like Biriyani, mirchi ka Salem, egg curry etc. their naans and bread is well done as well. You will not go wrong. If this is a first time - stick to biriyani and curries.
google avatar

Abhishek N.

Yelp
I heard tons of great reviews of the biryani they serve at this place but I went over with a bunch of friends for a lunch buffet. I wouldn't say I was disappointed with the range of dishes they put on offer (the count was more than most others). I am a non-vegetarian but I have a bunch of friends who are vegetarian and the best part was they found the options really good here which is very rare. I particularly liked the lamb curry and the dessert (can't remember the exact name, but it was some kheer) However, it is the best place for Biryani, probably the best chicken and mutton biryani I have had for a really long time. If you are there and you have an option, go for a la carte and order the biryani. I highly recommend this place.
google avatar

Kdev K.

Yelp
The only average Chicken/Goat Dum Biryani in Massachusetts and New Hampshire state. Well rest of the restaurants can call their biryani's as pulao instead. Malai koftha is average. Pepper chicken is very good. ambiance is ok.
google avatar

Mayur K.

Yelp
Place is not clean and not. Food is tasty but they really need to pay some attention on service as well and cleanliness
google avatar

Singaravelan V.

Yelp
I liked a couple of dishes at this place. The food is decent but the service is very pathetic. This is a self-service restaurant and they only provide styrofoam plates and cups :( They take a long time to get the food out whether you are dining in or taking out. I have tried both and they take atleast 30-40 mins to get the food out. Better to avoid if you are really hungry. I liked the Vegetable manchurian started which was nice n spicy and the Gobi 65 as well. For main dishes i tried the Paneer tikka masala which was good but the Mirchi ka Salan was just ok. Their Garlic Naan is good. Their vegetable biryani is horrible and would avoid it.
google avatar

Sai R.

Yelp
Awesome Biryani n starters. The roti n curries are good. Ambience was fine, but can be improved
google avatar

Nira J.

Yelp
The food at Paradise is great! I always have the special chicken biryani, garlic naan and the goat sukkha. Highly recommend the goat sukkha. The special biryani is better than the regular one, I think. The service is quick and efficient. The staff are all very professional and the ambience of the restaurant is cosy. The only reason I deducted a star is because I felt the portion sizes of the food and drinks (especially the mango/salt lassi) were too small for the price.
google avatar

Alex I.

Yelp
Amazing authentic south Indian food. Spicy! Worth the trip to Lowell, Mass, right beside a great Cambodian place.
google avatar

Millie C.

Yelp
Hyderabadi chicken curry is excellent . Staff is great and service too. Also , their special Biryani is very yummy
google avatar

Bhanu C.

Yelp
Not sure about the quality but food tastes good. Ambience is very simple, casual. Better to order at least 30 minutes before we go there. Otherwise the wait time more as they do many online orders.
google avatar

Tanya C.

Yelp
The best biryani ever. It is even better than biryani at bawarchii or paradise in hyderabad!!! Consistently great food and always tastes fresh. Have done take out and dine in both and food has always been great. Apart from the biryani their appetizers and other entrees are also better than other Indian restaurants in the area. The naans are different as in they are not soft but crispy and we love them for that. We have even tried the other paradise locations in Shrewsbury and NJ as well but nothing beats this little Lowell biryani Pointe.
google avatar

Bettie L.

Yelp
Quite disappointed! This place was recommended by someone else, service was very poor, no interest in solving any problems such as our very wobbly table. Ordered three different meals, got two and the biriani came about half an hour later, by then we had already shared our food with the person who ordered it so we cancelled it. There was one particular meal that was fried goat, no exaggeration, he served us 4 small cubes of goat mean and had no shame charging 15 dollars for it. I know curries are difficult to make but the portions in this restaurant are pure robbery and the customer service needs work

Ashwin M.

Yelp
Orderd 3 large trays of Meat for a family gathering for the memorial day weekend Chilli Chicken Hyderabadi Dum ka Murgh Goat Sukha After eating this the guests and my family members had food poisoning as the quality of meat was very bad all were down for 2 days. Called and spoke to the restraunt and they didnt even apologize let alone accepting the fact of low quality meat

Yelp
In the past 2 yrs, I have visited this place about 20 times. The biryani you get here is really amazing. We always get take-out from here and I never had to wait once I order on the phone. I have tried few other appetizers, but they were not really so great compared to their biryani. Ambiance could be better.
