Paradise Cove Café

Paradise Cove Café never disappoints—every visit comes with great food and a friendly, welcoming vibe. The pancakes are absolutely to die for—fluffy, flavorful, and the perfect way to start the day. The staff are just amazing, always going out of their way to make sure you feel right at home. The entire menu is full of tempting choices. We enjoyed the omelets, which were packed with fresh ingredients, and the kids had a burger and the fried chicken—both of which were big hits. The portions are very generous, and we ended up taking a box home because there was just so much food. Whether you’re stopping by for breakfast, lunch, or a casual meal by the beach, Paradise Cove Café is a spot we highly recommend. It’s a relaxed, tasty, and family-friendly experience every time.

This was a wonderful place to stop and eat and happy that someone suggested it because we would’ve never really found it. It’s this little cafe that sits in the corner next to a Trader Joe’s. Before you even walk in there’s a cozy outside area to eat, I’d you choose. The staff was very polite and friendly and seemed to know a lot of their customers. We ordered breakfast and got several dishes from pancakes, eggs, omelette, hash browns, toast, drinks and bottom less mimosas (for the ones that could have it). Everything tasted great Ava the portion sizes were decent with an average cost. The morning was a bit busy but probably because they close at 2:00 pm. There’s plenty of parking and the bathrooms were clean, which is always a plus. This is definitely a place we’ll return to when in the area and looking for breakfast.

I had a great time dining at the Paradise Cove Cafe this past week. In fact I went two times in my week stay in palm desert because it was that good. I would highly recommend getting the Cinnamon Cheesecake pancakes and the chicken fried steak. The staff was very nice on both visits and the food was did not disappoint. I would recommend for those who haven’t been to explore the menu because there are so many great options you don’t get at your normal cafe!

Went here after a medical test because it was a close breakfast place. Wow! No disappointments here. From our host, to Anna our waitress, to the food. All outstanding! We had the carne asada omelette. Super good. We will definitely be back. Bravo Zulu and even offers a military discount. Well done folks.

Pretty disappointing place, to be honest. Menu looked interesting online, but it doesn't matter how much of a menu you have if you can't make the food. My "Prime Time" pulled pork BBQ sandwich had a couple of drops of sauce at the most, making it bone dry, and it lacked its advertised pickle. Fries were cold and tasted left out. My friend's breakfast was reportedly mediocre, and neither of us finished our meal there. The atmosphere wasn't too good. They had multiple tables taken up by someone leaving a laptop and work materials on it. The door we were near was junky looking and needed paint. And they looped the same song three times in there, annoying, to say the least. Service was friendly, if a bit slow and disorganized. Overall, there are a lot of choices for food there, so you should really pick somewhere else other than here.

Food was cold. When I told my waitress, she said she would remake it. She came back with the same plate and my food was just reheated in the microwave. I ended up not eating it. My husbands food was also very cold. If you’re paying $20 a plate, it should be fresh. Pancake was delicious though.

I have been frequenting this restaurant for the past few months as a go-to breakfast place. The blancasada omlete is great! And the pancakes are good. But beware, the service is very slow. We were there with a full restaurant, and only one server, one cook, and a couple bus boys. It took 40 min to get food. And most visits it is over 30 min for food after we have ordered. I hate writing a review like this, aleays hoping it's a one time thing, but it is happening over and over now. Very frustrating!

My group of 8 waited 80 minutes to receive no food. It took 20 minutes for someone to ask if we were ready to order, only half our waters were delivered before we were finally visited by someone and could request the rest, and there was never any update about the status of our order. The restaurant wasn’t half full. Other tickets were placed ahead of ours by the manager (a server informed us), and the staff never shared with us or other guests entering (prior to being seated) that the kitchen was significantly behind. We checked in twice about the status of our order before deciding to leave. We’d have asked more times, but the staff did an excellent job of avoiding our table. The attitude given in the response we received from our server would make one think we were in the wrong from deciding to leave after waiting 80 minutes and receiving only water, coffee, and three cocktails. There was no acknowledgement of any kind of issue, fault, or oversight. Angain, less than half full. No effort. No apology.
