Paradise Found

I specifically went to Paradise Found for sage, and crystals. The associates there were so kind and patient in helping me pick out crystals that appealed to me, and explained their properties and uses. The whole experience was relaxing and positive!

This place was everything I was looking for! I was in need of a smudge stick and this store had many options. The book selection is remarkable! ✨ Beautiful candles, wind chimes, tarot cards, incense, gifts, stones, clothing items, and jewelry. Many more items as well, I personally thought the prices were really good. I only paid 5 ish dollars for the smudge stick and Palo Santo Bundle- I thought that was a great price. 😃 I highly recommend stopping in there. Theres a beautiful information board in the entrance as well. You can even leave your very own inspirational letter on your way out. 💓

A beautiful bookstore with a wonderful selection of metaphysical and spiritual decorations, accessories, and much more. The employees are delightful. The selection of devotional and meditative music is top-notch. Highly recommended.

I've been looking for a store that had tarot and oracle cards on display, so I was happy to come across this store while visiting Santa Barbara for a wedding. I was also thrilled with the selection of crystals.

This store is my “go to” for gifts and for special things for myself as well. It is beautiful, soulful and thoughtfully curated. The love and intelligence put into this place is so hard to find these days in the retail environment. This place has so much charm and really great vibes. I can tell the owner really cares about the products and the experiences of the customer. This is my favorite place to shop in Santa Barbara. Thank you.

Paradise Found is so pleasant! I am so glad I stumbled upon it and took the time to explore here. I was immediately greeted by a very friendly dog with the most soothing energy and I felt right at home. If you're looking for it, they have it when it comes to crystals, tarot and oracle decks, jewelry, spiritual books, and energetic tools. I love a good witch shop, and this one didn't disappoint! I'm from out of town, and when traveling I love to ask locals their favorite things to do when I visit a shop. The staff here was super friendly and we chatted about my trip while they gave me some tips. I found a few little crystal bracelets for my niece and a few other little treasures. Paradise Found will definitely become a must-stop on my Santa Barbara list! Can't wait to come back.

Great Shop. I met the owner, Teresa Taylor, and she is so focused on giving her customers the best experience. She has selected such a variety of items and I found so many great books to choose from. I booked a consult with Kristine Marie for fun and she was right on with so many great great spiritual messages. Such a great value that I will certainly be back to connect with Marie again. It was such a fun experience to visit this store when I visited Santa Barbara. I look forward to returning and recommend this store for anyone who enjoys exploring fun shops with a great welcoming energy!

I loved Paradise Found. It's a great shop with LOTS of items to browse and purchase. Everything from books, crystals, tarot cards, decor, jewelry, and more. In fact I was very impressed at the large number of books they had here of all sorts of topics! The woman at the front was very helpful and friendly. They have a decent crystal selection too, although personally I wish they had more and more larger sized crystals. Definitely recommend.

Create positive vibes. Let Paradise Found help! We were in search of Palo Santo sticks, incense and such. I ended up finding a black incense holder, too, that I loved. My friend not only bought Palo Santo Sticks, but Palo Santo incense cones. But they have so much here to help you on your spiritual journey. Not everything, but a lot. The patrons who visit aren't as kind as the staff, but be patient. We're all fighting our own battles

A purely delightful little store filled to the brim with treasures! I was here specifically for crystals, so I didn't get any photos of the overall scenery or the shelves and shelves of books. I only got photos of about 30% of the store. My only regret! I came in on two separate days during the holidays. The first day, there were many customers and it was difficult to navigate or ask for help. Despite this, I was approached and offered help by three separate employees. So nice! It was my first time looking for crystals, so I didn't feel like I could take their time and only made a few purchases. On the second day, I was looking for a specific type of crystal. There were less customers, and a very helpful employer came to help me almost right away. He freely opened the display to the area I was interested in, told me to go ahead and pick things up, and gave me two alternative baskets to look in. He handed me a tray and showed me where I could take out all the crystals to touch and compare under the light. He even brought out some crystals he had picked out earlier. This was so helpful because I am new to this. I saw many other customers sitting and browsing at their own leisure, sitting down to go through baskets and talking to each other. There were all manner of people there, adults, teens, etc. They also had children's books. Overall, I was very happy with my experience: I found what I was looking for, learned some new insights, and received just the perfect amount of help. Thank you so much!

Discovered Paradise Found while just walking around downtown with my friend! It was such a unique find and the store has so many 'things' of different interests :) I introduced this store to a few other friends and each time we come, it's always a unique experience! You find something new every time you go.

If you're looking for some zen in your life then wander in here and you will feel at peace as soon as you step foot in the door. There's lots of neat stuff to purchase and look at including books, candles, knick knacks, jewelry, a quiet little area to listen to cd's for meditation, and they even do readings! I've always wanted to do a reading but It freaks me out. Glad to know I can come here if I ever get the courage to do one. The two ladies working here at the time of my visit were very kind when approached at the cash register but not once were me or my friend even acknowledged or greeted the whole time we were wandering around in the store. Maybe they just like to leave the customers shop in peace but a friendly hello would have been nice. Aside from not being acknowledged the staff was still friendly and I would still go back because they do have some items that I want to purchase. If you're into spiritual healing, meditation, law of attraction, and need some positivity in your life then check this place out.

This place is perfect for the great first for a friend or taking time to meditate and relax. I can go in with anyone and find something for the mood in depending if I want to go see or just have a fun movement. From magic, witchery, candles, white light, mantras, to just fun kid toys and jewelry, this is a must stop. I'd highly recommend giving yourself some time to just "be" if you need it or run in and grab that fantastic birthday date card at lunch.

The crystals found me! Love this shop. Everything mystical and magical, under one roof. Definitely a spiritual one stop shop--books, crystals, cards, candles..etc. The gal that was working, was so helpful in looking up things for me, helping me pick out crystals for sleep, and also keeping my mess under control as I dug through bowls of rocks and minerals.

I just ADORED this shop. It can sometimes be hard to find metaphysical shops that are bright and welcoming. There is so much here that cover many streams of spirituality it is all so well organized. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful; and they really work to abide by covid regulations. They ask customer to sanitize or use gloves upon entry and keep a constant head count, blocking off the entrance when they're at capacity.

Love this store! It was small but they had a lot of crystals! And their price was unbeatable! The staff was very friendly too. The guy was very knowledgeable while the younger girl was not so much. I guess she was still learning. But hey we are all learning, right? I like the atmosphere of this store. Very relax and comfortable.

They didn't have the shungite rock I was looking for and when I asked about where it was, the "owner" was extremely rude.

Loved this store, people working there were so nice and helpful and sweet. I asked to buy a mineral bracelet for courage and instead of just taking one off the end, the girl working dumped them all on the counter and told me to pick the one that spoke to me. I thought it was so sweet she made that mess for me and it made it more special.

Quality store. We were exploring some crystals when the shopkeeper showed us a particular crystal we were eyeing. He gave us a mini version of the crystal on the house! What a memory. Definitely coming back for some beautiful stones to explore and learn more.

I wasn't looking for ZEN, I was looking for an unusual gift for a friend's birthday and I found it here. (along with a dose of that unexpected zen) Crystals are such a Cali thing . I don't lend much credence to the idea that they can heal, improve your sex life, help you find money or true happiness, or stop your mate from snoring, but... They sure look nice on jewelry! I would post a picture of what I bought, but the very excellent, helpful staff wrapped it up so nicely that I didn't want to open it again. Great service, clean, organized, peaceful store. They are great at creating an experience and I hope everyone who visits Santa Barbara will at least stop in and say HI to these nice ladies.

I was really hoping to spend money here but for whatever reason nothing called out to me that it needed to come home with me. Also I was traveling and the things I liked would have added way too much weight to my bags. Must check out their website when I get home. The gals in the store are really nice and they have a good selection of stones, jewelry, books, and tchotkis. They are a little off state street, we took the inexpensive bus that goes up and down state street to get there so that was nice.

Thank you, Paradise Found for offering a broad range of items for the mind and spirit. As soon as I walked in to this store I felt great positive energy. The first time I was there I did not have the honor of meeting the poodle I read about on Yelp. However, I was there last night and got to meet 2 lovely poodles! I asked if I could pet them and the owner's friend who was taking care of them said of course. I was petting the white poodle and said "oh aren't you just a beautiful baby!" The friend responded by saying "He is a baby, only 8 months old and in way better health than when he was adopted". She went on to tell me that he was very malnourished and had a bone sticking out his back when he was rescued. I said to her, "Wow. I would have never guessed because he looks healthy and is so happy and playful now". Her response was beautiful, she said, "You have to believe in the healing power of love. These poodles get love 24 hours a day and are in great health, way better than when they were rescued. Never underestimate the power of love". As a pet lover and parent of a maltipoo, this story warmed my heart. I was there to buy incense and candles but left with a canvas painting from the dog lovers section and a raku ceramics item! It is so hard to hold back from splurging when you are there. Especially when everyone is so kind and welcoming. They close at 6 pm but time flew by and I was done shopping around at 6:20 pm. I completely lost track of time but was not rushed and they waited for me to be done. Great service!!

The customer service here is immaculate ! I'm new to the spiritual cleansing world and the male worker helped walk my through and gave me great advice on how to cleanse my house ! Thank you so much !! You can find many different items here and it smells amazing !!

I am so happy I discovered Paradise Found! I love spiritual stores and this shop has an amazing selection of incense, candles, books, jewelry, crystals and everything Buddha related your heart could desire! Regardless of what you are into they will have it and walking into this store you feel instantly relaxed. After leaving San Diego where there are plenty of these types of stores I was worried I would no longer have access in Santa Barbara given it's much smaller but this store is just as good if not better than those! Looking forward to my next visit!

Guest Yelps from the Wifey "Paradise Found is a *wonderful* New Age/Witchy/Spiritual store that's apparently been around for 30 years..yet in all the time we've been coming to Santa Barbara; we JUST now discovered it on a side street..on Halloween of all days! How ironic is that?! It has a lot of what you might expect from a place like this: books, tarot cards, incense, candles and much more. They have an amazing assortment of crystals too. One of the best assortments I've seen in a store of this type. They also have what I call "spiritual jewelry" as well as something I've never come across before: figurines of various saints, gods, goddesses and other religious people. They also feature all kinds unique gifts for those quirky, eclectic people we all know in our lives. The employees are very open and friendly. They usually have an intuitive tarot reader present for readings and also feature guest speakers from time to time to lecture or hold workshops on all kinds of things. A word of advice.. go in while giving yourself plenty of time to browse and peruse. You'll be sure to find something...if not for someone else then certainly for yourself. I'm excited that I don't *have* to make a special trip to Solvang's "Mystic Merchant" when I'm in the area. I'll certainly be coming back here many more times in the future!"

I love the store!! I was actually hesitant to go in since ive never been spiritual or into any of that self help stuff but these people changed that during a really hard time in my life. Even the employees that work here genuinely care and want you to be happy. a++ go in if your ever in the neighborhood, ^_^

This is a gem of a place. The owner is wonderful. Readers are top notch! If you need a little guidance - I would come here. Only suggestion is to make the Relationships (book section) more defined like "Parenting & Family" and "Relationships" and then maybe even add a section called "Mindfulness" to help potential customers better find said books. But this is a minor constructive comment. Enjoy this bookstore, especially for gift purchases (books, gems, cards, music and more).

This your average, fun spiritual shop with stones, lots of books, scheduled readings, jewelry, clothing, as well as other "spiritual items". I was a tad disappointed b/c a SB woman highly rec'd it to me, and I've been to better elsewhere in the country.

Paradise Found, is the most amazing place I have ever been to on earth. I am a regular customer here, I've been going here for about a year and a half now, and it has truly changed my life. I truly call this place my home, and I encourage you to check this place out, it is life changing. I am so grateful for Paradise Found!!! Please please please come and walk in and enjoy all of the beautiful things the store has to offer from crystals, candles, books, readings, etc.

Paradise found is your typical metaphysical store. It has crystals, incense/sage, books and a nice collection of tarot and oracle cards. I was really excited to learn about this store but was disappointed in the customer service (or lack there of.) I shopped in the store for nearly a half an hour and was not acknowledged once by either of the sales people. In these types of stores customer service is key. I can buy any of the books, cards or candles they sell on amazon for half the price. I go to the store for an experience and was disappointed that I didn't get the welcoming vibe I was hoping for.

I've definately have mixed reviews about this store. I have had four readings, but only 2 I really liked. The other two left me feeling "beat up" like the reader was not gentle. there is one reader who is only there about once a month, and she is really good, insightful, accurate, gentle. Be careful who you trust your psyche to !

I'm a fan. This place has lots of cool stuff. But that's just it, it is stuff. I come here to buy gifts for people because the cool stuff is nice to give as a present for various occasions. I like the message of this store, it says goodness, it says love, it says light. That's my style.

Enter calm. Petting the old poodle, the friendly owner (if she wasn't the owner she sure is an amazing salesperson), the location, the organization and ease of movement in a tidy little shop. I got so many gifts here and each one was cherished. The place has some good energy. My kids touched a crystal so I lectured them about not touching. The salesperson said, "If it's OK with you, it's OK with me. They are welcome to touch the ones that are in their reach." That was a moment of blessed relief and gratefulness. What an enjoyable experience. Check out what they have written on their bookmarks about non-judgement. Right on!

I was visiting Santa Barbara this past weekend and happened upon this great place. What a great selection of stones, oils, books, tarot cards, and other trinkets. I bought a meditation coloring book and an amethyst healing wand. The lady working was very nice and helped me find what I was looking for. Everything was reasonably priced.

I really really enjoy this metaphysical shop. Both times I've been in the area, I've had a reading done by Vicki. She's a quirky awesome person with a wonderful gift. I love her healing energy and her readings have always been very accurate for my friends and I. I usually record my readings and it's wonderful to be able to hear multiple readings back to back from previous months. She's very accurate and the readings definitely relate to one another especially since months lapse between them. 15 mins for $25, 30 mins for $45, she also does longer readings but I've only gotten these two time frames. I definitely recommend at least 30 minutes, 15 is very short. The rest of the shop has a wonderful feel to it. Calm, organized, clean. They have an assortment of polished and raw crystals, books, calendars, incense, etc. I think the owner also rescues poodles so there is often a canine buddy there.

I have been going here for years. I really like it. It reminds me of Sedona's cool earthy shops. I find it very healing. Today I went in looking for something else and decided to try a reading with P. Anna Chapman, the intuitive consultant working at that time. She was very centered. Kind. Honest and empathetic. I left with a lot of encouragement and positivity. I am glad I went in. I recommend P. Anna Chapman.

This place is great. I've been coming here for years. Owner is always kind. Employees are always friendly. They've got something for everyone there. Sure, they're very pricy compared to LA. But it's Santa Barbara. Nothing is cheap in Santa Barbara. The vibe is very peaceful and kind there. I'm not sure what "Matthew R." is talking about below. There is certainly power and sorcery going on but it's good. It's Paradise Found. But you know what they say ... we don't see things how they are. We see things how WE are. D'oh!

I love this store! I had a reading here and it was a really good experience. The books are great too. I can get lost in here for hours. It's really good energy. My ten year old daughter says its her favorite store in Santa Barbara too. She likes the fairy section. I bought her some book that have been really helpful. I asked for help on what they recommend for her age. The store has all kinds of goodies for the soul. I'm so happy Santa Barbara has this store. I hope it stays open forever!

Wandered in and was pleasantly greeted by a sweet dog and then some nice girls. They let us peruse the books, crystals, decor, jewelry, greeting cards and try out the Tibetan & crystal bowls. Even though we didn't make a purchase they were so nice and we plan to return for gifts.

If you are into gems this is the spot to go to in Santa Barbara. I was looking for a new necklace and came here to look at there Amethyst collection. After looking through there inexpensive rock collection I found the perfect one. It was just the size and shape for a styling necklace. The people who work here are also very informative. I asked them about several different attributes of gems and without hesitation they had the answer. My favorite thing at this shop is probably these little gem wrist bands they have.

This is by far THE BEST metaphysical bookstore with very gifted readers. I've enjoyed every visit. Yesterday, however, just blew me away. I had a reading with Anna Chapman. WOW Anna takes those principles, theories & concepts that genius monks and gifted people pour over for centuries and makes the reality so simple. Paradise Found is just that, a place where you can go and find a bit of paradise and sanctuary in the downtown Santa Barbara area. Beautiful crystals, gifts, and cards, along with a fantastic selection of books and cds. I have purchased and found countless gifts and treasures for myself and loved ones at Paradise Found! I have not yet done a reading there, but I have heard good things. When I bring in my young daughter, she does not want to leave! They are very gracious with letting her touch and feel and play with some of the items we look at, too, which is very sweet. It's a must visit staple downtown SB!

Literally I was walking out of the library back to my car and thinking about where I could find a metaphysical shop in Santa Barbara, when I saw Paradise Found across the street. Perfect little shop for your books, yogi CDs and healing crystal collection, they even had my favorite Japanese brand of incense that I haven't been able to find since the Bodhi Tree closed! Great to know there's a perfect little spiritual store here in SB!

I love this place. It has a wonderful selection of books/CDs/incense.. There is a rotating list of intuitive and card readers. I LOVED seeing Anne for a reading. I was not a fan of Amy's reading.
