Yelp
I love this coffeehouse/eatery -- it is a nice space, including outdoor seating and parklet, with yummy foods and (normally) friendly service (see below), and it offers one of the most affordable lattes in the East Bay, at less than $5, representing a considerable discount on the price-gouging $7+ lattes at other places (I'm looking at you, Cafenated).
That said, they really need to tinker with their interior seating, with several seats currently placed next to a tiny second entrance on the corner of the building, their occupants treated to cold gusts (especially in the mornings) every time someone chooses that entrance versus the much larger main one a few feet away. When I put a chair in front of that tiny second entrance in order to direct visitors to that larger main one (which was admittedly a bit presumptuous of me, though nothing that had bothered staff before), the barista gave me that obnoxious passive-aggressive non-apology of "I'm sorry you feel that way" and then, "go sit somewhere else" -- not a more friendly and proportional "I know, it does make this part of the cafe cold, but we need to keep this open because..."
This is nit-picking, I know, but I had just been really friendly to this particular barista -- I always am at coffeehouses and especially at this one. To be given that sort of response was quite off-putting. I know it shouldn't, but this sort of thing will make me less likely to return.
