Paradise Pizza

The atmosphere is cozy and old-school, reminds me of a pizza place I grew up going to in my high school years. The pepperoni pizza was very cheesy. the sauce was so fresh and the pizzas and garlic bread were delicious! The Mexicali pizza was so tasty!Great place to stop and eat at after visiting Legoland!

Ordered the 12" Mediterranean pizza. The menu said the pizza had roasted tomatoes, however, they forgot to put them on the pizza I ordered. That is a shame because it would have helped to cut this salt bomb that was overloaded with olives and feta cheese. It was so salty that I couldn't taste anything else.

Best chicken pizza I’ve ever had. Not greasy. Freshest tasting pizzas ever. 57 with tax for two pizzas is still quite a bit for two large pizzas, even if they are tasty.

Great place for pizza. The owner was helpful and kind, even when working the multiple orders that came through. He was busy with DoorDash orders but made sure we got good service. Support small local businesses!

Wonderful experience! Great service! Fantastic food! Truly didn’t know what to expect but my husband and I were blown away! Their cauliflower crust is suPERB! Wings were tasty! We will be back!

Good thin crust pizza with vegan cheese. Staff was very friendly. Limited seats inside but theres a few picnic tables around the corner outside as a nice option a sunny day.

Less than a one star ….our pizza was ordered well done . The crust was barely warm. I called to complain and the employee hung up on me. Poor attitude and poor quality….

Went to try to find a quick pepperoni slice (they don't offer slices) but ended up with a small pie, lunch special. Prepared fast enough and fresh! Solid pizza to eat by the beach. Note to visitors, their parking lot is not off of State but behind it on Roosevelt. The lack of street parking on State almost had me drive away.

Solid pizza if you're in the area and craving conventional pizza with a medium-thin crust and lots of options for toppings. The Margherita was really good and I especially like how thr tomatoes were well-seasoned with olive oil and salt and pepper, and the basil was chopped up and evenly dispersed so that you get very even bites. The crust was somewhat thin and crunchy at the end but the undercarriage wasn't too thin where it was flopping around, although I still had to fold it at times. The pepperoni was not bad, but I couldn't help but notice a couple of slices could've used several more pepperoni. It looks like it was rushed but there were no other customers at the time.

Finally got to try this one, my husband got the meaty Italian which was really good, i tried the gentle Italian- for some reason more toppings were on it than there should be, which normally would be great but unfortunately I do not like bell peppers. So beware it's sometimes made differently. The guy working didn't seem happy to be there. It's a small place with one main table inside, but there are tables outside to sit. Would definitely come back to try another pizza.

Ordered pizza from the manager Juan tonight and was so pleased at his customer service! I am so grateful for his help and am looking forward to enjoying delicious pizza!

Pretty good pizza. Stopped by for a slice and they didn't have any but they did have a five-dollar one topping mini pizza deal that came out in about 15 minutes. I'd come back for another one! Apparently, they also have gluten free pizza. Will have to check that out next time.

Second time ordering pizza. This time got a large pizza with extra cheese on top of pepperoni, mushrooms & olives. The extra cheese was a great decision and took our pie to the next level. Soooo ooey gooey good. Love it! Great fast service.

Quality pizza that tastes great. The only thing I wish I could change is their prices. It's pretty high and I wish I didn't have to pay an arm and a leg for it or else we'd get it more. It'd be nice to have coupons sent out by them.

Thin crust, with the cheese, sauce and toppings right up to the crust to the last bite! 10/10 this place knows what they are doing!

Had to cancel my delivery order... there was night door dash drivers which they don't promote.. never says anything about a DoorDash driver on their site

Best pizza in San Diego North County. The toppings and crust are better than any other place in Carlsbad that I have tried.

This place is really good. I feel like the main players in town are Pizza Port and Knockout. My preference is now Paradise. It's kind of a bummer because these guys deserve more business; they just don't have as nice of a location as their competitors but their pizza is better in my opinion. If you're on the fence, give em a try. They don't do slices but their prices are reasonable. The gentle italian is my fav. They have a much much better breadth of toppings. Knockout is mid by comparison (sorry it needed to be said).

I was excited to finally try this place out and I so enjoyed the one bite I was able to have. Unfortunately, we did have to throw our pizza out due to finding a couple strands of hairs melted into the cheese. That being said, the food was really good I know humans have hair and humans make the pizza, and it's a busy Friday night, let's just try to be careful moving forward, please and thank you!! :)

Amazing gluten-free pizza. This is our go to pizza place after a family beach day and it never disappoints!! Love this place!

I had never been to this place before. Joseph greeted us with a great smile and answered all our questions. I had wings, a calzone and pizza. Wow!!! The wings were great!!! The pizza was great also. You'll feel the love when you enter here. I'm local and proud of this pizza shop for being here and making great pizza. The Gentle Italian is a vegetarian option that is bombastic with the ricotta and roasted tomato. I had to remind myself to slow down and rest or else I would've gone for the third slice. I want to explore other things on their menu. The owner hyped up their salads so I'll add it to my order next round.

I come to paradise pizza more than I care to admit but I can't help myself. Their craft and specialty pizzas are top notch if you like good authentic pizza along with amazing sandwiches. I have yet to try everything on the menu but every time I go back I strive to try something new. Highly recommend if ordering for a party or even a lazy night in watching a movie.

Hands down this is the greasiest pizza I've ever had, so disappointed . And to top it off they use ranch from a bottle which ruined it more. I came here based off reviews. Never again

My two girls said to give it a 10 star rating Went last Sunday, everything was perfect! From the service to the food! Dough was so fresh!! Wish it wasn't so far from us but we will be visiting next trip down south Also thanks for the cheesecake, perfect snack for the way home! A must try when in the area or traveling!!!

Wow! Today was my first time here. I eat vegan as much as possible but don't really care for vegan cheese, so I tried it here with no cheese at all. It was delicious and made perfectly.

Really Quality Pizza. I had the Goat and there was an abundance of roasted garlic cloves. It was a delight to devour.

First of all this is NOT a restaurant. It's a pizza kitchen with a few chairs in a cheerless waiting area. It's in kind of a sketchy location. The pizza is pretty good. I ordered double pepperoni and actually got double pepperoni; they didn't skimp. The Caesar salad is a build your own affair. Bowl of lettuce with a handful of parmesan; you do the tossing. Their prices for a takeout place are on the high side. A small pizza and salad will set you back $25+. Go for the pizza but not to dine-in.

Ordered some delivery and this pizza was absolutely delicious. I am not disappointed at the slightest. The flavors were exactly what I was craving with some thin crust style pizza piled with toppings. I highly recommend this joint to anybody in the area.

This place never cease to amaze me, their pizzas are by far the best I have ever had from around the area. Their service is always friendly and they are eagerly looking to provide you with an excellent experience. The ambient is nice and quiet. A really good place to grab a bite and just relax.

I love supporting small local places and this place is so very good. The best part about their pizza is the crust. It's not overly sweet and they don't coat it with extra oil or seasoning like a lot of major chain places. We love your Margherita pizza!! We found them through the popular delivery service and I don't think I've ordered from any other pizza place since. Support local and try them out.

We ordered a pizza from here via Postmates. Our pizza arrived and was the wrong pizza. After contacting the driver, he said that we need to call Paradise Pizza. My wife called and Paradise said that we needed to contact Postmates. If the driver goes into the establishment and asks for the order by name and the establishment gives the driver the wrong pizza, how is that the driver's fault. I realize that delivery services are just that, a means for your food to arrive, but the establishment should take ownest on what gets delivered. When you call the establishment and they state that they are really busy and it's out of their hands, could have been handled better. How about, "We made a mistake and we will replace your pizza"? Even if I have to go pick it up. Now we are stuck with no dinner and finger pointing. We live in Carlsbad and will no longer use Paradise Pizza. If you want to order pizza, Knockout and Cusimano's is much better.

This place takes PRIDE in what they do. Late night delivery on Friday night and the pizza was perfect. And to management, Diego is the best delivery driver ever. Gave him the wrong address, handled it w no issues and professional courtesy. Give that man a promotion!

To preface: I don't really leave reviews to places. More times than not I only review when places really hit the spot and I want others to know how great they are. So here I am writing a review because Paradis Pizza was that good. It's a small little spot but don't let it deter you. Upon entry we were greeted and felt welcomed. It is small but has some tables for dining in. We went on the later side, 6:30pm and to our luck it wasn't busy as we are visiting from out of town we wanted to dine in. We were debating on what to get and the cook told us he could do half and half, much appreciated. Since ordering 2 pizzas when we won't eat the left overs would have been too much. He took his time to wipe down a larger table for us while we finished deciding what to get. We sat down and waited for our food. We started with 12pc buffalo wings which were great. They are not overly crispy and very saucy, which we enjoyed. However your mileage may vary depending how you like your wings cooked & sauced. The buffalo flavor in the sauce was great just the right amount of spice so you get decent heat but can thoroughly enjoy them and the rest of your meal. Moving on to the pizza. Cook brought out the plates to us and then the pizza. Thin crispy crust with great ratio of toppings and cheese. There were no left overs of this pizza once we were done. The pepperoni was crispy and so delightful. The Spicy BBQ Hawaiian had a good bite from the fresh jalapeños and flavorful from the remaining toppings. Everyone was a fan even the picky eater that tends to stick with just 1 slice, got seconds. He even requested that next time we are in Carlsbad we go to eat there. So needless to say we will be back. Great pizza spot with a kind and friendly staff.

Not sure if it was just me that pizza was not good, but it did deliver on time hope this helps somebody in the future

My child said please rate them a 5 ha! He got a small pepperoni and sausage pizza. Smells delicious and he loves the thin crust.

Love this place. I always get the meat balls and a salad. The salad is always fresh and the marinara taste amazing.

I don't think I'll be back not sure why my pizza cheese was so watery it was a really weird consistency. The crust and toppings tasted great but the cheese was very unusual today. It looked great though.

Was on a vacation and wanted to do pizza for take out. There were few places but I ended choosing Paradise Pizza and so glad that I did! Ordered a large pizza and some wings.. The pizza was delicious and so were the wings! My dad was stuck on the wings he was devouring them he was really enjoying those wings! lol my mom really loved the pizza she's usually picky about pizza and I didn't hear any complaints from her she was too busy eating away and kept saying how good it was lol. They were saying I wish there was a Paradise pizza by where we live (we're from L.A.). The guys working were nice and friendly. Next time we vacation there we're definitely coming here again for take out! I forgot to take pics lol

I go to Paradise all the time and their pizza is the best in town. I went tonight and got upcharged almost $10 for a large ($38 for a large..) and the worker couldn't even tell me why. The menu shows $28 for a large and all my other charges for pizza here were $28. When we left the counter he started gossiping about me complaining about the price to his coworker. Such a shame. Update: got home and the pizza was soggy and missing toppings.

Hello, so there are many choices for a Pie. Paradise Pizza is a Quality meal at a fair price. I do appreciate Craft over Corporate.

Great pizza! Great service! We have them deliver to the pool at Tamarack Beach Resort. They bring the paper plates and make it so easy to have dinner by the pool. Remember to tip your driver they really appreciate it

I've always heard great things about Paradise Pizza - and have meant to try it, but it wasn't until our current shared COVID nightmare that I actually made it there. The service was exceptional (take out, delivery and curbside pickup only - from their back lot), the Greek and Ceasar salads fresh, crispy, and tasty - and both Pizzas (we ordered a small Cheese and a large Margarita) were perfect!! We can't wait to go back. Make sure to include a tip for the cook and curbside service staff - their expertise definitely deserves it!!! This Pizza place assuredly transports it fortunate clients to Paradise!!!

From the moment we walked through the door the service was great! Pizza was delicious and the salad was loaded with fresh veggies! We thought we added a cheesecake to our order and we hadn't but the gentleman who served us hooked us up with a piece! Thank you for an awesome experience, we look forward to coming back!

I moved to Carlsbad four years ago from a lifetime on the East Coast. Why did I wait this long to try this pizza? The owner was delightful and endearing as he chatted with me while creating my order. The crust was light and perfectly crispy. The sauce was simple and flavorful - and the cheese had the perfect salty tang. DELICIOUS! And they don't skimp on toppings!! YUM! The inside is cute with only a few tables. If you prefer outdoor seating, there's a great picnic spot just a block away. All pizza is best piping hot - but this is my new favorite place... hands down. They have plenty of parking and they also deliver. Don't sleep on this one!

Pizza was really, really great. Probably some of the best pizza that I've had. Juan was awesome and provided top notch service and attention. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a really good pizza.

Don't waste your money. I know pizza I am from Chicago. I ordered a med well done mushroom onion sausage, well done crispy it $30 with tip for this tiny pizza it was cold rubbery and you can count the maybe 8 little pieces of sausage on there barley any toppings sauce tasted good. My suggestion is buy a Costco or Walmart take n bake pizza for $10 verses $30 for this pizza not worth it.

Paradise pizza is the best!! They have the best crust in Carlsbad, especially if you like thin crust. Definitely check them out!

Amaaaazing customer service ---and--- they DELIVER! Romo the delivery guy was wonderful, and so kind & personable. He really wanted to make sure I was happy! Wish I got the guy's name who took my order, as he was super nice & friendly. The pepperoni pizza was pretty good. I prefer fresh mozzarella cheese, but this was still pretty good & like the pepperonis. I'd def recommend & will be ordering again & trying something else!!!

One of the best gluten-free pizzas I've ever had! I loaded mine up with artichoke, mushroom, pepperoni, tomato, & basil. Yum! The people are also very nice. It's a family-owned business who really cares.

It's hard to find these days but Paradise Pizza has great pizza and great service. Thankfully customer service is alive and well here. And being a vegetarian, it's the only place that doesn't have the same old boring vegetarian pizza like everyone else. There's is full of yummy ingredients! Great job you guys!!!
