Had a nice family meal here! Enjoyed sitting by the water and the view was great. David was awesome and checked in with us frequently. The food and drinks were good and would love to return. The only thing I would mention is if you have mobility issues it might be a little difficult, it's a bit steep and alot of stairs.

We stop at Paradise every weekend on our way to our lake house and enjoy the experience every time! Brandon served us tonight and we had great service and always love the view! I highly recommend Paradise if your interested in lake views, sports and good times! Crispy Irish nachos are a must!

Google
The food was delicious, the service was top-notch, and the views were incredible. Huge shout-out to Connor for making our visit so great! He was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond. Also thanks to the kitchen staff for absolutely throwing down!! Can’t wait to come back!

Looking for a taste of the tropics right here in Missouri? 🌴 Paradise Tropical Restaurant & Bar at Sunset Beach is the perfect dock-and-dine spot with great food, cold drinks, and live music by the lake. We pulled up on our jet ski, docked with no trouble, and were welcomed with awesome lake views and live tunes. Lunch hit the spot—blackened chicken sandwich, lemon-baked salmon, and crispy coconut shrimp. And those frozen strawberry daiquiris? Just what you want on a hot summer day.🍹 Pro tip: Time your visit for live music—it really adds to the laid-back, lakeside vibe.🎶 Good food, good music, and a breeze off the water—now that’s Lake of the Ozarks livin’. 💦#DockAndDine #LakeVibes #MidwestEats #LiveMusicByTheLake

If you come to Paradise you need to request Paige B to be your server! She was amazing and the food was delicious! Make sure to get the shrimp app and a pinapple drink. I will definitely be back!

Whitney took such great care of us and ensured we had a wonderful meal. Drinks and food were both excellent. Highly recommend the Hot Honey chicken bowl!

Paradise is always our go to when in town. Today, David was our waiter, and he was fantastic! He was very friendly and attentive!

Yelp
The nachos and the view were absolutely top tier! Even though we came toward the end of the busy season, Princess Leah and Abby took great care of us with delicious cocktails and genuinely charming service. The atmosphere was relaxed and spacious, with fun games like corn hole to keep things lively. Would love to come back when the busy season starts to heat up--this place has all the right vibes!

Yelp
Irish nachos are so amazing, we also had Bird of Paradise sandwiches which were awesome. Sydney is one of the best waitresses I've had in years, she was so attentive. We never had to ask her for anything, she was on top of it. She is awesome I will definitely be back!

Yelp
We visited this spot for brunch on our last day in town, mostly drawn in by the promise of cocktails served in a whole pineapple. I mean, come on, how fun is that? The food here is primarily seafood inspired bar food, but you've got some fun random additions to the menu like crab rangoon, which our table shared as a starter. I had a strawberry mojito in a pineapple, and fish tacos as an entree. First of all the mojito was fine, but if I did it over I'd go for one of their frozen drinks, I think I maybe had too high of hopes and should have stuck with something that they were more known for. The tacos on the other hand were great! The portion was massive, and I definitely enjoyed my meal. Our server was attentive, and we had a great view of the lake. Overall this is a fun place with pretty good food - If I was ever in the Ozarks again I'd definitely consider returning!

Yelp
Great bar and food place to ride your boat to. Service is super friendly and the environment makes you feel like you're on the beach. Vegan options are extremely limited, but you are able to eat a customized salad

Yelp
Two times is a charm. Service is not their strong suit. We live at the lake and give our business to every restaurant we can excluding fast food venues. The first visit was similar to our last and final. We were an after thought and an inconvenience. We arrived, went into the bar area on the top level seated ourselves without being greeted, waited for 10 minutes for service and figured it was just busy due to Memorial weekend. Having said that I finally became impatient, walked up to a bar staff member and said can we be served and he went down stairs brought the hostess back up to the lounge bar where we were sitting. I asked if we were suppose to check in first. She said yes you should have checked with me. We politely got up from our table with our guest, went back downstairs and stood at the reception area. The young lady working as the hostess acted as if we had broken all the rules. I asked if it were possible to sit in the bar area since it was cold out. She said yes and it would be another 30 minutes. We were the only people in line and the table we had exited as well as three or four more appeared to be empty. I would suggest going to almost any of the other restaurants at the lake. The summer staff could use a lesson in good service skills. It would have been nice if someone, anyone at the bar would have greeted us and asked us to return to the entrance to be seated. Two thumbs down!

Yelp
We stopped in for lunch last week and really enjoyed this place. It was lively, fun, and family friendly too. Our food was good and our server was friendly as well. No complaints at all. It's a great place to eat and drink while enjoying the waterfront activity.

Yelp
Amazing view! Every seat in the house had a good view of the Ozarks. Band was playing and they were good. The drinks and food tasted great. Waiter was so nice & friendly. Fast service too. 10 out of 10. Has a "dive bar" / laid back kinda vibe. We got the crab cakes as an app, PB&J burger, fish tacos, and for drinks we got the "Pain in the A$$" and the spiked lemonade.

Yelp
Arrived by auto, so the walk down is a little crazy but it was worth the adventure. Was taken right to a table, and what a view. The food came quickly and was fabulous. The staff were friendly and atintive. Make the trip either by car or boat, you will not be disappointed.

Yelp
Would definitely recommend eating here! The food is great, you can sit over looking the water, kid friendly, very cool relaxing beachy atmosphere, our waitress Jessica made our experience even better she was so nice, always had a smile on her face, was very knowledgeable of the menu, over all great service!

Yelp
We wanted dinner with a view so we stopped in here for the evening. We started the night with some fried pickle spears with a south west style dipping sauce. Very crunchy and lightly battered which I was a big fan of. We also got the Buffalo wings which came perfectly fried and crispy covered in a sweet and spicy Buffalo sauce, the sauce was not as hot as I was hoping for but still satisfied. For the main course we split a cajón chicken pasta. Which came with sun dried tomatoes, creamy cajón Alfredo and blackened chicken. The fish was a little oily for my liking and lacking in the cajón flavor. I would definitely not get that pasta again. After dinner we went down to the dock and explored the gift shop followed by feeding the fish and ducks. There is bags of fish food for only $1 which is a fun end to any dinner!

Yelp
Great food, views and service! Always a fun place with spectacular views! Best drink is Nectar of the Gods. Only issue is one dock hand wasn't paying attention and let our boat hit dock.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a fun place , I think overall it's a Great Lake side resteraunt. The service was really good and honestly the crab cakes I would order again. The only issue here was the band the particular night that was playing was a little off and not quite the right fit in my opinion but other than that I would totally check this place out.. pull the boat right up !! Good work to this team !

Yelp
Great views. Great environment. Best service! Ask for Reis!!! I had the Baja bowl... The Paradise margaritas are legit. Tell me my password

Liberty D.

Yelp
We came in with a group of 10 and they seated us quickly, the drinks and the food was served promptly as well. They didn't make any mistakes with our order, and the food was great! I thought the atmosphere was also great. I'm impressed.

Yelp
Beautiful spot for dinner. Shaded deck in the evening with amazing lake views. All of the food was delicious. Shrimp, nachos, fish tacos, pineapple chicken, all off the charts. Drinks were good as well, in the pineapple made them even better. Would 100% recommend and be back again.

Yelp
Mariah did a phenomenal job taking care of our large party of 16. Drinks were delivered timely along with our food. The food we ordered a bunch of appetizers and our entrees didn't disappoint. Steaks were seasoned well and smashed potatoes were very good. I'd give the food a solid four stars. I'm rating at a 5 due to service as it isn't easy to take care of a large needy group and Mariah nailed it.

Yelp
Great food and live music are always good combinations, and the place is multilevel as well if you want to just hang in the corner. Currently the recipient of my not-at-all official 'best spot to chill' award.

Skyler S.

Yelp
Paradise is a gem on the lake of the Ozarks. Our server and bartender Leia exceeded expectations with great drink and food recommendations and even recommended some cool places to go for the rest of my buddy's bachelor party trip. She was super sweet and personable. Great views, live music, and the best food we had in the Ozarks. Would give 10 stars if I could, highly recommend!

Yelp
Came here while on a fishing trip. Love the atmosphere and Hannah was the best waitress I've had in a long time. She made sure our drinks were always full. Loved the options of food on the menu and the specialty drinks. The Bahama Mamas were delicious. We had fried pickles, wontons, and BBQ nachos for appetizers. Hamburger, shrimp Alfredo, a power bowl, and prime rib for dinner. Everything was delicious and we wanted to come back the next day but after fishing all day we just wanted to go home and be lazy. I highly recommend this place. My only suggestion would have been to label the friend pickles as fried pickle spears. As we are not a fan of those and prefer the chip style. But they were still very good with a lot of flavor. The view is also amazing.

Yelp
First & last time there! Service was SUPER slow with hardly anyone there. The Thai chicken lettuce wraps were TERRIBLE. The chicken was very bland, and the peanut sauce with kale Asian salad was very bitter. Potato salad also had way too much mustard and was not very tasty. I did not feel good after eating there. Also, smoking on patio around the food shouldn't be allowed. There are also a lot of stairs going down to the restaurant & parking lot really steep as well. Save your money & go anywhere but here!!

Yelp
Dinner for 8! This is the best view to have dinner. The Cajun pasta was delicious! My wife enjoyed the Baja bowl. I usually have low expectations when I see younger servers, we had this young lady; Kaylyn and she made our experience a 5 star visit. We'll be back and hope to have Kaylyn again!

Yelp
Food is great! We had the shot gun shrimp, pulled pork fries, desert nachos, pretzel with cheese and other drinks. Plenty of dock for boats. They also have gas here! Service was great too.

Yelp
Came with a big group and pretty much everyone loved it! Very cute place, great service and great drinks!

Yelp
Such a yummy fun restaurant! The food is very good and the service is friendly and speedy. Being able to pull up in your boat and enjoy a nice lunch is amazing! Such a colorful, fun restaurant

Yelp
We just ate here for lunch and I have to say the food was delicious. It's a great atmosphere that has some video games and yard games for kids to enjoy. Our server was wonderful. She checked on us several times. I felt the price of their food was very reasonable. However, if coming do not order any alcohol drinks. Very pricey. We didn't know a can of seltzer like High Noon was $8! Save your money and just order pop or water while there. They could also choose better music to play especially if they know families will be dining. Though I don't mind curse words, there are some who don't. There are plenty of songs they could choose to play or find clean versions. To top it off bring cash. They will charge you an additional 2.5% if you are using a credit card.

Patricia L.

Yelp
I have traveled this country and been to many fine restaurants. I must say, this is truly been one of the best. And the nicest thing is it's casual dining atmosphere but yet it is high class food. Reasonably priced. Very, very good and highly recommended. Five stars for sure.

Yelp
Been to paradise a few times and we always enjoy our stop. The food and drinks are very tasty and filling, and the view is always stunning! The staff are very friendly and attentive, we really enjoy hanging out and watching the activity on the lake.

Ted R.

Yelp
Keely is the best bartender on the water! She is friendly, quick service! You should definitely try a mini beer shot!

Cindy D.

Yelp
Burger was great, as was our server Nick! Disappointing that the boat girl lost our boat bumper and didn't fill our gas tank full

M M.

Yelp
Food was good but service was terrible. Rarely saw our waitress and instead of waiting I went up to the half empty bar where I stood for 10 minutes without any acknowledgment, so just walked away, paid the bill and left. Very disappointed, with all the good reviews we really had high hopes for this place but pretty pitiful on the service side.

Judi W.

Yelp
Friendly staff! Great Lake view! Not handicap accessible, lots of steps for anyone older, but the restaurant is neat, just hard to get there for older adults, would definitely hate to be a delivery person
google avatar

Yelp
Food was just average. The drinks were decent and upgrading to a pineapple glass for your drink is a fun and welcome difference from the same plastic cup you see everywhere else around the lake. Burgers we had were the cowboy and the gouda one. The patties were overdone even for a smash burger and there was more bun than needed. Way too much bbq sauce on the cowboy if you ask me, and the bacon in the gouda seemed under done. The fries were good but nothing special. We got the disco fries as a starter and it was a great flavor with lots of sauce and pulled pork. Servers all seemed like really young kids but they were friendly and did a good job. We did have to ask a few times for a few things but they were really responsive and respectful. The best part hands down was the view. Loved that we could pull the boat right up and see the lake from pretty much any seat in the house. Great spot for a lakeside drink. We sat outside and it was a beautiful night. The atmosphere was cool and they had lots of games from jenga to corn hole to a giant connect four and probably more. We will try some other places before coming back, but we wouldn't not come back.
google avatar

Jeanne V.

Yelp
Service was great. We were there at night on a weekday so there wasn't much going on but they did have music that was good. Seemed like more of a place to visit from the water. Coconut shrimp was okay.
google avatar

Courtney F.

Yelp
HUGE restaurant right on the water with plenty of seats and beautiful views. We came in for a bachelorette party and we're not disappointed. Service was phenomenal. Paige was our waitress and she was SO on top of things. She helped us all night and got drinks out to us so quick. She definitely made the night even better, she had other tables but still made sure we were well taken care of. Food was amazing. Pretzel bites were so buttery and delicious. The peanut butter and jelly burger was BOMB. It was such a nice surprise. Highly, highly recommend, we had a great experience.

Yelp
Great food, Reis was wonderful and we loved the overall vibe! Will definitely be back.

Yelp
We could hear this place from across the bay at our rental so we had to try it out. The staff accommodated our party of 10 after some back and forth (I was a little annoyed, but the took care of us so....). Our waitress was super attentive and quite friendly. The food everyone ordered looked and I was jealous of everyones plates. My bbq burger w onion rings was good, but a little overdone for my taste. They have fun games to play on the top level and there is plenty of parking for cars and boats (we drove). The gal in the gift shop was overly less than happy to help, which was the only really negative. One of the gals who helps dock boats helped me find the overpriced tee-shirt I wanted. They played Christmas music the whole time we were there, which was actually kinda fun - Christmas in July!

Yelp
Such a FUN PLACE!! All the lake feels!! Drink menu is awesome!! Staff is SO FUN!! Outdoor, on the lake! Food until 10pm. Coconut Shrimp is perfect!! And DON'T MISS the Mac-n-Cheese! Bob Marley Shot BAY-BEE! Striped in a shot glass..Banana & melon liqueur with 151 rum! Come for brunch on weekends.

Ashlyn S.

Yelp
i got the shrimp po boy, it was really good and we had two tables of our family. the place looks amazing and there was a band we sat right next to. but i don't think the service was the best. she didn't check on us once except when we wanted the check with small cups so i was so thirsty but cool environment !
google avatar

Ashley C.

Yelp
Had a great brunch at Paradise for a bachelorette party! Reis was fantastic and attentive - she provided great service the entire time to our large group!

Kaitlynn L.

Yelp
The shotgun shrimp was great, wontons were okay, but the shrimp po boy was awful. It was incredibly salty, so bad that I would gag. I tried to cover it in more sauce to eat it but it was just gross. I would have told the waitress but a runner delivered our food and she didn't return until she brought the bill. At the point I ate my fries and no resolution was offered. Just sucks paying 17$ for a side of fries. Not to mention I pulled a cat hair off the sandwich and didn't want to complain, but then it was gross too.
google avatar

Tom B.

Yelp
Great food and good service. We all had several different items from the menu they were all good. Our waitress Reis did an awesome job!
google avatar

Simoriah L.

Yelp
My group had a party of 11 on a Saturday night so the wait was about 20 minutes, which wasn't bad at all. They have an arcade upstairs that we decided to use to pass the time- and sadly 2 of the crane machines didn't work but still took our money and 2 other machines also didn't work but took our money. Other than that- we had a wonderful time! Live music and great views. Everyone really enjoyed their meals. We got pretzel bites, Irish nachos, onion rings, and house nachos for appetizers which were delicious. Kale Caesar salad was really good, cowboy burger was great, fish tacos were great as well but the creme sauce on them wasn't too popular w/ my party, flamethrower burger was enjoyed as well. I would recommend this place!

Tod E.

Yelp
We went in for the Sunday brunch and had a great time. Good food and great service! Thanks Paige!

Melissa C.

Yelp
Service was slow our waitress waited on others that came in after before us. Party of 10 with a reservation. Seated quickly though. One person didn't get their meal. Waited 15 minutes and finally went to find the waitress. Food was then brought out lukewarm yet over cooked. Smashed potatoes are just a baked potato smashed plain. Definitely won't be back.

Gwynjamen B.

Yelp
My family of 7 came in. Not only was the menu confusing about our items, but they charged us for side dishes despite on the menu saying they would come with it. The bill was over $200 and the food was overpriced and underwhelming. The staff was rude and pushy. When they got multiple of our items wrong, they were rude and made it seem as if it were our fault. They made multiple dishes by accident after we corrected our order. We were sat in front of fans that blew our napkins everywhere. Terrible experience and was not given any relief from the staff. Would never go again.

Yelp
Convenient by boat? Yes. Lake staple? Yes. Lots of frozen drink options? Yes. Original? Not really. If you want a drink and snack while also overlooking the lake festivities, this is your place. Don't expect anything spectacular though. You'll also find that you'll pay the price for your lake front views. There are a serious lack of decent vegetarian options available. For vegetarian appetizers you can choose from pretzel bites (with meh yellow cheese), onion rings, or chips and dips. Nothing special here. The only vegetarian entree (besides salads which don't have protein) is fettuccini alfredo. There's not even a black bean patty in sight. It's very dismal, so unless you just want a snack, your best bet is to skip the food. Our restaurant service was quick but when we went to leave the dock, the marina staff were nowhere in sight. Trying to launch your boat out of there when it's busy is a little difficult without their help. In all, I would come back here for a drink (it was fun), but I'd skip the food altogether.

Julie P.

Yelp
Paige and Mariah are awesome! Great food and great drinks. Best customer service we have had at the lake recently.

Jeffrey R.

Yelp
Great service by Princess Leia and Mariah. The food, atmosphere and view of the lake are outstanding.

Yelp
There were food and not so good things happening here. We visited Tuesday evening and sat at the bar. Danielle was our bartender and she is amazing! Bf had the Big Kahuna nachos and my lord! It was enough to feed a small family. Filled with toppings and tasty. I had the chicken alfredo, which I unfortunately had to send back bcuz it was not even warm to the touch. Once it was heated up, I enjoyed it very much! We came back Wednesday and sat at the bar with the same bartender. Danielle deserves a good star for handling the intoxicated man next to me. We tried the Baja Trio (guacamole/salsa/queso) and unlimited chips. It left a lot to be desired. Queso was bland and almost as thick as cream cheese. Guacamole was tasteless also. Salsa was meh.
