Shocking Lack of Respect from Holly - A Loyal Customer Left Feeling Insulted
My recent visit to Paradiso was incredibly disappointing and frankly, insulting, due to the shockingly rude and dismissive behavior of the owner, Holly and how she treated my
Mother and I. My Mother was in town visiting for Mother’s Day and we visited the pool club for the day on Resort Pass. (I was a former full-time member for years but started to travel a lot for work) Over the years, I've spent a significant amount of money here and have always supported this establishment and recommended it to others. To be treated with such disrespect after being a loyal patron is truly disheartening.
It's baffling that someone in the hospitality industry, particularly in a city as connected as Charleston, would conduct themselves in such a manner. Customer service seems to be a foreign concept. Guests, especially those who have shown consistent support, should be made to feel welcome and valued, even if they book a day pass verses being a full-time member. I live in the neighborhood and have visited the club recently for members birthday parties or gatherings. Insinuating that I don’t have class and would sneak in is quite disappointing.
This recent encounter has completely soured my opinion of this pool club. Despite my past loyalty, I can no longer in good conscience recommend this establishment to others or continue to market it through word-of-mouth. Word travels fast in Charleston, and I sincerely hope Holly takes some time to understand the importance of treating all guests, especially long-time supporters, with basic respect. Her husband on the other hand has always been a delight. Unfortunately, based on this deeply negative experience, and lack of respect shown to my mother and I, I can no longer recommend this club.
