Paradiso, an East Passyunk Mainstay Italian Restaurant, is Closing This Week - Eater Philly

"Paradiso, a fine-dining Italian restaurant on East Passyunk Avenue, is closing its doors this Saturday, June 1 after a 15-year run. The restaurant was known for its rich pastas, vast selection of Italian wines, and rooftop garden. Head chef Lynn Rinaldi, born and raised in Philadelphia, mentioned that the closure follows some serious 'soul-searching' after an ankle injury. Rinaldi has sold Paradiso's assets, including its building, to a restaurateur." - Audrey Carleton

Food was delicious. One of the best filet mignon's I have ever had. Before our main course they brought out hors d'oeuvres, which were amazing. Go you will not be disappointed.

My husband and I had our 14th Wedding Anniversary dinner here on June 21, 2017 and the food, cocktail and service was superb. The food was fresh and tasted delicious. Our food was served hot and cooked to perfection. I forgot to get our server's name but he was very attentive and his cocktail and appetizers suggestions were excellent. Thanks for a memorable night.

We’ve loved this spot from its beginning. Our usual, for special dinners like anniversaries and birthdays, but also just because. Seasonal, wonderful menu. Chef/Owner always has her eye on her diners experience. Don’t miss this gem!

Got a last minute reservation with some friends during restaurant week. The chef/owner was awesome and her food was absolutely fantastic. We look forward to dining here again.

The food was delic. I had crispy chicken liver and pasta with Boar ragu. I wasn'y crazy about the waiter who served us. Made me wait a while before I finally got my wine. Had to ask him twice for it. But as I said the food was great. I highly recommend this place. BTW The Mayor of Philadelphia was there with is wife!
