10 Best All-inclusive Resorts for Families in Mexico

"A visually striking resort marked by five gleaming white pyramids on one of Cancun’s notable beachfronts, offering spacious rooms with ocean or lagoon views (though rooms could use a refresh). Amenities are extensive: multiple restaurants and bars, a massive pool, a nine-hole golf course, and a YHI Spa. Families benefit from a dedicated Family Concierge that can arrange in-room amenities, restaurant bookings, and activities; children receive special beach kits, kid-size bathrobes and slippers, bathroom amenities, milk and cookies at turndown, children's beverages in the minibar, and can even request a PlayStation in the room. Distance to Cancun airport is 12 miles; Wi‑Fi and gratuities are included. Rates start at $420." - Meagan Drillinger Meagan Drillinger Meagan Drillinger left New York City for a life on the road. Hotel Paradisus Cancun | Best places to stay in Cancun

"With over 500 rooms housed in towering, mock-Mayan multi-storey skyscraper pyramids (including one with hanging gardens) Paradisus is far from understated. But no hotel in Cancun has better facilities or a choicer beach location (on a vast stretch of sand right in the centre of the hotel zone). The hotel boasts four lagoon-style pools, a gym, tennis courts, a magnificent spa (with a hydrotherapy area and children’s beauty salon) a vast Kids and Baby’s Club with cinema and slide area, and a nine-hole, par three golf course. There’s an adults-only club with its own private pool and lounge area and the restaurant menu was created by 12 Michelin-star Spanish chef Martin Berasategui Olazabal. " - Alex Robinson

Me and my dad spent a week here in Mexico Cancun the views of the beach was really beautiful and the food on the resort was pretty good our favourite restaurant was lemon fish , Malva food bazaar, Blue Agave restaurant, Fuego , and Vento Restaurant!!!!!! Although the tilapia wasn’t our favourite dish at one of the restaurant with cardigan sea view!!!!!! For breakfast on our last day before flying home to Toronto we ordered room service the breakfast was really good!!!!! Except the apple juice tasted weird my dad had to pour out in the sink!!!! Overall a fantastic experience and thanks to the cleaner for keeping our room clean !!!!! Had a great time snorkeling in Mexico with my dad although the sea was very rough that didn’t help either!!!!!

Our first time to Cancun. This resort is the reason our lives changed forever when it comes to vacation. We use to go to Hawaii but since we've discovered this place and a fraction of the price, we dont even talk about visiting Hawaii anymore. This hotel is just all around an amazing place right next to the beach. Many reasons we will keep coming back. Gabby the bartender was so kind. We call her our Cancun best friend lol. She was absolutely so fun to be around and just a genuinely sweet and kind girl.

Amazing hotel, luxurious rooms, delicious food, reach self-service breakfast, but most of all friendly, helpful, always smiley staff, from concierge, bell boy, cleaner, gardener, entertainer, bartenders- everyone there was always super friendly and customer oriented to fulfill every need. It was exceptional. |The hotel is cleverly intertwined with a jungle vibe with wooden pathways leading either to another part of the hotel or to the beach. There is Adult only section for everyone to be able to relax, chill etc, while family friendly part offers a variety things to do of you have children. Top attraction is aqua Park.

We have been members of the Meliá Vacation Club for almost 25 year.||This has been one of the best vacations we have had at the Paradisus Cancun and highly recommend them!!||We were celebrating my Birthday and Mother’s Day and wow, it was such a marvelous experience!||Over the years we have developed relationships with the team. They are more like family to us and it is the main reason why we keep coming back year after year. ||We have been to other hotels in Cancun over the years, but there is no comparison with regards to the team!||When we arrive, we are greeted by name and are “welcomed back to our home away from home.” It’s awesome!||Throughout our stay we were treated with the utmost care, concern, and kindness by the same people we have come to know and care for over the years. ||I’d like to acknowledge the following individuals for delivering us a World-Class Experience:||BELL AREA |Kemil |Raul ||CONCIERGE/MANAGEMENT|Rodolfo |Veronica |Ivette Sanchez|David Aparicio ||CIELO|Fernando||SANTE|Diego|Valeria|Javier|Cesar |Arnulfo|Rigoberto|Gemma|Julio|Sofonias||MALVA|Eddier|Pascual|Joni |Alejandro (coffee bar)|Armando||AGUA MARINA/FLORA|Roberto|Cinthia||POOL/BEACH/BALINESA|Asuncion|Hector|Leticia|Laura|Eduardo|Rodrigo|Jesús (Chewy)||Wow! What a great team! It is the people that make the difference and this group of individuals above are truly World-Class!! ||Rodolfo, our concierge, checked in with us daily to make sure we had what we needed. ||Veronica, the Operations Manager, would check in with us as well and follow up on any needs we had.||The restaurant experience (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) was wonderful; World-Class!!||Even in the midst of such a huge change and uncertainty, they remained positive and professional and focused on “our” vacation experience! Wow! Extremely humble and selfless! ||I truly don’t have words to express my gratitude for the great experience we had and to the team for making our vacation so memorable! They all truly went above and beyond!! Thank YOU!!||Lastly, we understand that the resort needs renovations and for the closure of the resort until next year. ||We are sure that it will be even better than it is now and hope/pray that we see the same team back!||They are the ones who make the difference and look forward to seeing them again when, God willing, we return to Cancun.||Thank you again and God bless you all!||With love,||Ismael and Nina Muñoz

I understand they're closing for remodeling, so I'm not sure how accurate this review will be soon but I wanted to say that even before the remodel we had a wonderful experience. ||We booked in the reserve and I'm so glad we did. We were swept up when we got there. Offered drinks and popsicles and escorted to the reserve area. Jose met with us shortly after checking in to talk with us about what we were looking for and booked all of our dinners for the whole trip. We spent a lot of time at the reserve pool, where we were well taken care of. ||The time of year we were there I guess was a slow time because there were no lines or waits for anything. Not a lot of nightlife. Things wrapped up pretty early, but there were some shows and games and crafts to keep up busy if we were inclined. There are a couple of tables set up in the main area to help book excursions too so you don't have to plan any of that ahead of time or leave. Anything we did set up was just at Aquaworld just across the street. ||Many things I read people complaining about turned out to be very nitpicky and didn't have any negative effect on our experience.

Had a great time spending a week long vacation at Paradisus Cancun. The interior of the hotel and the food was better than we were anticipating. Staff was very kind, helpful, and attentive. Anabel at Flora was an exceptional waitress. The food was fresh, light, and delicious. Abraham and Carina from Ginger were excellent. The Tequila and Mezcal tasting were top notch and I learned a lot about the local drinks. Daniel the entertainment coordinator was great. He planned fun activities everyday and we really enjoyed his energy. Hotel was a bit dated (however they are going to renovate at the end of May for a year) and the pool looked like it needed to be filled up with more water.

I am currently staying at Paradisus, and while the resort itself is absolutely beautiful, my experience with the Kids Club has been very disappointing.||I was informed to bring my 8-year-old daughter 10–15 minutes before check-in time if the children would be leaving for another activity or location on the resort. We arrived early, around 5:50 PM (check-in was at 6:00 PM), but I was told that she could not enter because they were only accepting children participating in the show. Her cousins, who were right in front of us, were allowed in, but my daughter was turned away.||She was heartbroken and spent the evening in our room crying, not understanding why she couldn’t return to a place she had enjoyed earlier that day. She had been there all day and only needed to leave because the staff were taking their scheduled break from 5:00 to 6:00 PM. When I asked when she could return, I was told 9:30 PM — which caused me to miss my 9:00 PM dinner reservation.||There also appears to be inconsistency in the check-in process. When I registered my daughter, I was not asked to present her passport, yet another family member was told her child could not attend without showing one.||Additionally, the Kids Club is only available for children up to age 10, leaving limited activities for older kids, which can be challenging for families traveling with children of different ages.||Overall, while the resort grounds, rooms, and amenities are stunning, the lack of organization and consistency within the Kids Club was disappointing. For a family-friendly resort, I expected a smoother and more accommodating experience for children. Unfortunately, based on this, I would hesitate to return or recommend Paradisus to other families.

We had the absolute delight of being served by Cynthia at Flora tonight while enjoying our stay at Paradisus Cancun and she was exceptional! Her recommendations were top tier, phenomenal service with a genuine smile throughout the meal, and the food itself was beyond delicious!! Highly recommend! We had the pole bowl, charcoal prawn, spinach noodles with beef and finished it all off with pavlova and the wine pear for dessert. So very good!
