Modern hotel next to Cádiz’s old town and right by the sea. The location is very convenient for exploring the historic center. We chose the underground garage despite being next to the public parking lot. It costed less and felt secure, even in stormy weather. The beach is practically in front of the hotel, perfect for a relaxed stroll and enjoying the ocean atmosphere. There is also a playground for children on the right side.
Architecturally, the Parador reflects Spanish early-2010s post-boom design: restrained forms, a strong focus on light, views, and the relationship to the ocean. Sure, after more than a decade of use, some aging is visible. Particularly in joints, surfaces, and a few worn areas. Although renovation work is ongoing. Despite this, the hotel still feels contemporary and pleasant overall.
Our room for three people was beautiful, with a balcony and a side ocean view. The third complimentary bed is cleverly integrated into wooden cabinetry. Spacious interiors for that category with metal, glass, and marble elements, very comfortable mattresses, clean bedding, and excellent Wi-Fi made it easy to fully relax.
Staff throughout the hotel were consistently friendly and helpful. The breakfast we were offered had a good variety of specialties, and the breakfast team in particular did an excellent job despite the disastrous weather in Andalucía during our stay. All this harsh critique about aging were counterbalanced from the benefits. Thanks again for having us!
