Paradox Resort Phuket

This truly is a quiet oasis in this lively beach resort. It is a beautiful hotel, set within stunning gardens. We had an excellent seaview but it was often too hot to sit out on the balcony so we admired it from the very good air-conditioned room. The pool area is lovely with plenty of loungers and umbellas, a pool bar and a water temperature that is simply perfect. The other amenity that we used was the gym which was excellent and very well equipped. Breakfast was also very good. A huge range of choice and excellent quality. Our only disappointment with the hotel was the beach bar area associated with the hotel which we thought was loud and brash and did not fit in with the upmarket ambience of the rest of the hotel. Perhaps, by moving to a more refined atmosphere, it might improve and influence the rest of Karon Beach.

We stayed in the premium garden villa and it was great. The value for money was perfect. We enjoyed the mint bar and restaurant which is on the beach side of the resort. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The cleaning staff kept the room clean and tidy. The resort is located in a very quiet part of phuket so it's very quiet. Great for families. The only thing I would've wanted was for the plunge pool in our villa to have an option to heat it. It was very cold and unusable (at least for us)

I want a quiet place to stay so I have chosen karon beach instead of patong, patong is more for the partying people. I've reserved the penthouse and the experience was good. The room is huge , especially the bathtub in the toilet was really book enough for two. Certainly the pool at the rooftop is the major experience too. The rooms are a bit old but they are clean. I believe the resort has certain history already, but as it's clean, it's still good. The location is really good to get on the beach and to food quick. The resort is not too big for walking. The breakfast, however, was just very mediocre.

We just checked in and it's very good. Not sure why people complain. We got premium garden villa with plunge pool. And it's perfect, everyone who we met are very friendly, remember Thai culture be friendly and respectful and they will be friendly , room is great, aircon would need some upgrade but it works, also maybe more sockets for charging beside bed. As it's our anniversary it's perfect paradise 😊 and it great we stayed in many hotels in Thailand and this is one of the best resorts we stayed. we really enjoying our first few hours here.its huge premises but it's seems quite and relaxing just cross the road seems nice beach. Just to note if you would like to bill something to your room you need to leave 5000 baht as deposit at the reception, but I see the point for this. other wise you can pay in cash as you go

We've been there for two weeks and had a very relaxing time there. Service from all of the staff was always kind, friendly and helpfull. The plunge pool room was big and comfortable and well located. Breakfast was on high level standard. The Hotel is located at the beach, you have to cross only a street which is sometimes very busy and therefore a bit tricky to cross. The beach is clean and you can have two sun chairs and a parasol for 200 bhat a day. Along the street you can find all types of restaurants. We would recommend to have a cocktail in the mint restaurant and bar which belongs to the hotel. The guys there are very friendly.

Last minute booking and decided to this place since this resort is located by the beach. 5 minutes to the beach with side walk is nice. Our room is clean and roomy and front desk people were nice and professional. We arrived here around 3pm and after checking in our room then wanted to jump in the pool and try their pool bar. We ordered 2 glasses of signature cocktail and one appetizer. The bartender immediately gave me a bill before anything else were on our counter. I thought that was really rude gesture from employee of this kind of luxurious resort. The guy by the pool is also not friendly at all. If I am coming to Phuket, Thailand next time, I will not choose this place. There are so many resorts like this around the area.

Stayed with my wife and son during the 2nd week of December as Phuket heads into peak season. Going on holiday with the family I wanted somewhere that was more family oriented than the busy area around Patong beach but still lively enough in the immediate vicinity. Paradox has direct access to Karon beach from the rear of the resort which is very convenient along with a variety of shops, restaurants and supermarkets. It takes around 20~30 minutes to get to Patong beach, or Phuket Old Town depending on the time so it's very convenient. We also wanted to do an island hopping excursion and again Chalong Pier is around 20 minutes away. We staying in one of the newer refurbished rooms in the courtyard which may not have the more traditional feel but I prefer the modern clean styling. My biggest complaint about the room is trying to figure out which light switch turns of which light but this seems to be a conspiracy with all hotels. Sure, I can turn everything off in one go but good luck if you want to turn off the bedside table under-light without physically unplugging it. Service was simply excellent. The staff are all very nice and go above and beyond to help. We have to be careful due to a dairy allergy and the hotel staff always made sure to err on the side of caution and make sure there was no accidents. One of the chefs also spoke with us and helped to make specific dishes for dinner in advance which was greatly appreciated. The main pool and island bar looks great and the water slide keeps kids (and adults) entertained. For younger kids it’s much easier just to stay in the great hotel pool instead of heading down to the beach. Overall I think this is a great choice for families looking for a premium experience at a reasonable price.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Paradox resort. The amenities were nice, but the best part was the staff! Everyday they took great care of me and made sure I wanted for nothing! They remembered the small things, like where I like to sit during breakfast, what I ate, and most importantly my name! My only recommendation is to upgrade the insulation of the rooms, renovate the outlets and have better humidity control. Other than that, this place is awesome and I definitely will be coming back! I highly recommend!!
