"The atmosphere here is pleasantly down-to-earth, and the waitstaff laid-back and friendly. The cuisine is modern and seasonal. Along with à la carte options such as char ceviche or local ribeye steak, there is a set menu comprising four or six courses. Tip: Brunch is also served on Sat and Sun (10am-2pm). N.B. cash payments only. The restaurant also has an online shop selling home-made goods (sauces, pesto, jam etc), as well as beer and wine." - Michelin Inspector

We had a Sunday brunch. The food options were interesting, but the portion is very small. They offer a brunch set for two at 68 euro including a variety of baked items and coffee, and that appeared to be a good deal, if one enjoys lots of carbs for brunch.

I was looking forward to visiting this restaurant for a few months already because of all the nice reviews I read. The atmosphere was lovely, the selection of beers was very good. However, the food was just mediocre and not on par with fine dining. I had Winter salad - just an ordinary salad with chestnuts. The dressing was way too sour and it drowned the flavours of the other ingredients. I kind of expected warm chestnuts on top (or any other warm ingredients ) to kind of give a nice contrast and enhance the flavours. But everything was just cold and sour. Dish with leek and truffles - a very interesting combination. The pineapple kind of hid the flavour of truffles, instead of enhancing it. The portion was more suitable for an appetizer. As a desert I had chocolate covered donut with punch or something like that - pretty good, but the sugar was overwhelming and not a lot of punch flavor. The service was a bit sluggish, but the restaurant was full so they might have been overwhelmed. Providing some information about the dish they were about to serve would have been greatly welcomed (you know, like in most fine dining restaurants). Would love to give the restaurant another chance, but I'm not sure if I'm willing to spend 100€ + to be left hungry again.

We had a great experience here. The prawns were a particular highlight. And we loved the cured duck and salmon starters. I’d say the dessert was a bit below the standard of the rest so I may have skipped (we had elderberry tart/mousse), but otherwise it was exceptional, good wine selection and very nice atmosphere.

This place has such a great vibe: cozy, stylish, and full of character. The staff is super professional and genuinely friendly, which makes the whole experience even better. The 4- or 6-course menu is a fantastic option, and the wine pairing is spot on. Pro tip: don’t leave without trying the hausgemachtes Málaga-Eis with 4cl of 30-year-old Tawny Port. If it’s not included in your menu, trust me: there's always room for one more dessert!

Had a very nice evening here! Food was amazing 0 complaints Service was 10/10 and the concept of just going to the fridge and getting whatever you want yourself was a nice and fun addition Only small complaint i have is that it was a little loud (but the place was fully packed with people) Exept for that everything was perfect If you are searching for a fancy and amazing dining experience 10/10 recomendation from my side!

Really loved our dinner. All the dishes were unique, traditional with a twist. Had the duck, the rib eye, a fish dish and the lamb followed by a vegan, gluten free little cake. Everything was cookrd yo perfection. We got freshly baked bread before our meal and they even had fresh gf quinoa bread for me, which was amazing. The drinks were good so was the atmosphere. Simple interior and decor but cozy. Highly recommend! Coming back for sure.

As mentioned by many people here in the review section, every single piece of food was absolutely delicious. If a sandwich can be this delicious, I cannot imagine how their dinner dishes would taste, probably like heaven. :D The lady who served us was attentive and friendly. The whole experience from the beginning till the end was pleasant. It is such a shame we were on a trip so we could not come back to this place for dinner. If we visit Salzburg again, we will definitely come to this restaurant.

Meeting the Paradoxon started with my mistake in a reservation. However, it was professionally solved by the administrator and yet offered a table for our show-up time. This credited to a nice impression in the very beginning. All the dishes were remarkably delicious, from appetizers to desserts. The full course is literally cannot be left unfinished, as it tastes very vibrant and makes you try more and more. The dishes are quite small, but typical for haute cuisine serving. It seems they change the menu every now and then, so not surely you can get the same dish you found online. Likely, the chef can surprise you with dishes, if to follow their offered options. We got an attractive and concise menu of 3 options per dish, all were absolutely enjoyable. Thank you for the first-rate service! They don't have a wide assortment of cocktails, but you can choose a drink/bottle from the fridge in front of you. Just a few things make an experience less impressive: cash-only option, controversial interior, close wc location to the kitchen
