I am beyond relieved to have finally moved out of that place. First and foremost, the air conditioning system in the apartment was abysmal. Despite the scorching Texas summers, the system rarely worked properly. There were countless instances where it failed to cool the apartment, and there was always some excuse provided for the malfunction. The frequency of the system's failures and the lack of urgency in addressing the issue were unacceptable. My partner and I found it utterly frustrating that we endured such discomfort and inconvenience during our time at this property. It is evident that the management's lack of attention to this fundamental necessity greatly impacted our overall living experience. Furthermore, despite multiple attempts to address maintenance issues, the level of professionalism and efficiency displayed by the office and maintenance team was completely lacking. A specific incident that highlights this issue occurred when a leak from our unit caused damage to the unit below. The neighbors rightfully reported the problem to the office, and maintenance was sent to address it. However, neither the office nor the maintenance team made any effort to communicate with us regarding the scheduling of repairs. As a result, we were unfairly targeted by our neighbors and subjected to unwarranted harassment. When maintenance finally decided to show up, they showed up at an unscheduled time without any prior notice (this occurred on multiple occasions, I may add). This behavior caused significant disruption to my partner's work, as they often have important meetings and calls while working from home. The maintenance team's disregard for our privacy resulted in unnecessary stress and frustration. Furthermore, their loud and disruptive behavior only added to the disturbance, agitating our pets and making it difficult for us to focus on work. Additionally, the laundry facilities are constantly out of order, causing inconvenience to all residents. The malfunctioning gates have resulted in multiple car break-ins, including our own. The lack of security puts all tenants at risk. Also, packages, including grocery deliveries, are frequently stolen from doorsteps, indicating a serious issue with the complex's security protocols. The lack of proper pest control measures has also led to a significant roach infestation, creating an unsanitary living environment for residents. Lastly, the overflowing dumpsters are a constant eyesore and attract pests, creating a health hazard for all residents. I urge anyone looking to live here to look for a different place to rent and save yourself the agony of having to live in a bug-infested, hot apartment with very little security and a lack of professionalism from management.

So over all, not the best place, but not the worst place either. Here were/are my issues I am currently having and experiencing. I have been at my current location for 2 years now on Reiger Avenue. Maintenance could leave a lot to be desired. After placing multiple work orders, being informed to handle this and that, never having any work completed, but you best believe they will state work is/was completed. Ie, placed a work order for my microwave being out of service on the 12th. Got a response the next day stating the technician was contacted and will be contacting me, great. Waiting all day on the 16th since I know the 15th nobody will be working since its the weekend. Not a single soul, knock on my door, phone call, absolutely nothing. Looked on my portal, said the work was completed yesterday. Whats the point of picking times for them to come by but they do not come by those times? Come on guys, please do better! Trying to get ahold of anyone with the phone number listed is next to impossible, I believe calling the State Gov is easier to get ahold of someone than these individuals. The answering service, now those people are sweet as pie. Very nice and reasonable people. They do have a number to text, but I am going on 6 hours now since I've sent it in by the time of this review. Trash day is what is expected. But why have the back of the dumpster facing the gate to place trash in? Of course people are not going to crawl in there to toss out trash, someone is making it difficult for everyone else. Parking, oh parking. It is first come first served at this location as is most locations. On tandem parking spots, someone random parked behind me and left their vehicle and I was stuck. I was told that this was a civil matter by the apartments and that I had to go knocking on all the door to find who it was to ask them to move. I'm not doing that and getting shot, no thank you. So park at your own risk. Even though there is the tow poster, the tow company said they do not have a contract with the company and will not come out. I was more annoyed that I missed a day of work because of this. ⁩ The yard work is completed weekly with no interruptions. I know because all the dirt and dust gets blown into my apartment since the weather strips and seals are not on my doors and windows (yes I had a work order in and yes that was closed out without work being done on it). ⁩Overall, kind people, sucks with maintenance requests and getting ahold of someone, but yes. Feel free to reach out to ask anything else.

When I came on with the property's owned by Davis RE, LLC let's see, just back in October 2019.I felt like I was home. There is just something about the charm and warmth of Historic Old East Dallas. Kelly and I speak daily as we brainstorm on how to make our communities better. The owner and entire staff have exhibited compassion and motivation to handle the sometimes challenging industry. I looked up the last reviewer's name, and it doesn't appear on any of our software to have ever lived here but, I wanted to extend my apologies for any negative experience she might have had. Hopefully she will contact us and give us the opportunity to understand the said situation and learn how we could have made it better.

Don’t MOVE HERE!!!! this is the most unorganized under the table apartments in this community. Lived here 3 years and had nothing but problems and misunderstandings with the ppl in the office. This was terrible to the point where I broke my lease to get out of THERE. They get NO stars from me. They keep switching out the management here. First they got rid of Kelly and put a even worse manager in there name Connie. Bad place overall
