Parakeet Cafe - Beverly Hills

Stopped into Parakeet Cafe at 3 pm for the first time. Was greeted by a super friendly employee, Jacob, who helped me pick out a yummy dish. I went with the bowl and added Salmon. It was DELICIOUS! He came by to check in on me and even surprised me with a Blueberry Scone. I am so happy to have found this new place- and even more excited that there is one near my home in Brentwood.

A Must go for French experience. Pleasant atmosphere. Very creative and great menu. However: the truffle mushroom scramble omelet is very salty. It kills the taste.of.the other food you are eating. Sounds expensive, but the spring water is of no charge. It ends up to be reasonably priced for a fun experience.

Fantastic food and even better service. There’s a gentleman that works there that goes above and beyond for customers and is so incredibly kind. If you’re looking for healthy food options sans refined sugars and seed oils, Parakeet Cafe is the place for you!

This cafe will fool you coming in, the atmosphere is not wow, nor is the service level and interaction. But wait till you get to the good part, the food is seriously good, fresh and full of taste. The French Omelette sandwich is a great combination of fresh greens, eggs and the rest of delicious amenities. The Best burger ever is actually one of the best burgers ever 😁, juicy, great sauce and perfect caramelized onions. I think the grilled chicken sandwich was the least of our favorites. To end with, the salmon toast was a very refreshing sandwich, the salmon is beetroot flavored salmon,, a nice twist. I think these guys have really worked on the details and food, so takeaways should be on fire. Ohh and the coffees were great 👍.

First time coming here for lunch with my toddler and dog. Servers were incredibly kind. People come here to do work inside, but can also enjoy a meal outside. Got a grass fed burger on a super fluffy brioche with a delicious salad option. Loved their beverage menu and options, I got a hot honey vanilla matcha with pistachio milk. I also got a side of beet smoked salmon (it was bright pink) and they added fresh dill, it was incredibly tasty. Loved the bakery options and grab-n-go snacks available on their shelf. So much to offer! This place is also seed oil free. Will be back to try more, saw they had a kids menu on my way out :)

I really liked coming to the cafe the last time we visited but wasn’t sure if delivery would be just as good. They did not disappoint! Delivered right to my hotel in Beverly Hills . Delicious .

Really beautiful and aesthetic cafe, I loved the vibe and the interior design. The service was okay, the waiter wasn’t smiling and looked tired and didn’t feel the most welcoming and accommodating but was mellow and served us what we needed. It was empty on a Sunday afternoon, there’s a lot of pastries. It’s a bit pricey and if you want to add protein like chicken or salmon they charge you $10+ which is insane, I feel like they should add chicken on some of the bowls or salads but it’s an extra cost. The food on the menu all sounds appealing though, super yummy! I got the harvest toast and the heirloom tomatoes tasted really fresh. I got a sunny side up eggs on the toast and it was good. It’s a order at the cashier and sit down with a table number cafe. Would come back for the vibes, food is pretty average for LA cafes, it’s good food!

Fantastic service and food! I loved my time there. I personally went with the Belgian Waffle and grabbed a chocolate biscotti and a blue spriuluna, lime, alkaline water drink 👌

Cute little spot in BH in what was previously occupied by Chin Chin for years. As you walk in, you order at the register and then seat yourself. The food was delivered quite quickly and the service was courteous and efficient. I really liked the uniqueness of the Eggs, Benedict. Very flavorful and tasty. Makes me want to return for it! My daughter also enjoyed her sushi roll. I agree as I also took a bite of it! The Red Chilaquiles was a little too spicy for me, but if you like spicy, then you might like it! Overall, a nice addition to the Beverly Hills area! We will be back!

Charming ambiance-- it drew us in when driving by. I was glad to see the line was short and a few tables were still open. 1. Why was my Americano steaming hot while my husbands Cappuccino was served cold? 2. Why were customers, who ordered after us delivered their food long before we were? 3. Why did the customers through out the cafe have flatware, while our food was delivered with plastic ware? I asked about the time-consuming order, they explained the waffle iron was giving them trouble. ok. When I asked for a 'proper' knife, my husband requested a new cappuccino since his was cold. They brought the knife, and a new cappuccino, but this one tasted burnt--acidic, nothing like the flavor of the first one, but yes, piping hot. Ridiculous breakfast experience. Why did we bother tipping them? I'd like to try Parakeet again but definitely in another location. What a disappointment!!!!

The barista or front counter attendant who ever he was rude and had horrible customer service. I asked for a half sweet Arnold Palmer and got the most bitter drink imaginable. The breakfast burrito was so cheaply made and rolled it fell apart while we were eating it. The potatoes were underI didn't finish the drink and left it on the table. Very cute spot in Beverly Hills (tho it is an LA chain.) lots of indoor and outdoor seating, can park out front for a fee or do 1-hr street parking in the neighborhood right behind it for free. Got the vegan, GF lemon blueberry scone for $6 before tax/tip. It was pretty good! Esp for begging vegan and gluten free. Not overly lemon-y. I think I'd get a different pastry next time. Really appreciate that there are multiple vegan and gluten free (and even some of both) options. Oat and almond milk. Would come back!

Stopped by after a walk for a delicious lunch! Started with a refreshing Arnold Palmer and then came the BEST BURGER EVER. The bun was perfectly toasted and fluffy. Even the roastedherb potatoes on the side were yummy and didn't feel heavy. Highly recommend Parakeet for a healthy meal that leaves you feeling recharged!!

This is such a great atmosphere. People watching and atmosphere are the most important to me. The interior is bright and colorful, with a lot from outside. I ordered a poke bowl and was delighted with it. It was just enough food: you are sated but not sickened by the portion. The sauce was perfect and it felt so healthy. The waitstaff is good and the cashier really knew their stuff. I would love to return on an afternoon in the rain with wine and take in all the great conversations I was hearing. Come for the fun experience!

We were shopping in the area and needed some brunch / lunch and Parakeet Cafe looked fun. Patio options and inside casual dining were available. You order at the front counter and then they bring the plates to your table. I was hoping for French Toast but it was not to be found on the menu unfortunately. I opted for the "Best Burger Ever". While it was good, I wouldn't go so far as calling it best. Also the description said "smash burger" but it is really just a quarter pound style burger with no lettuce and tomato. Smash burgers traditionally are thinner patties (smashed) and have a crispy edge with melty cheese all over - IMO and from my foodie experience. Would be a pass next time. I had a taste of the Eggs Benedict which was awesome. The sauce on top was simply delicious. The croissants were also very delicious and fresh. Which is expected from a bakery. They also have cold brew on tap. A good spot for quick comfort brunch.

One of my favorite croissants in the city and an easy go to for my morning routine. The coffee is smooth, the pastries are always fresh, and it is the perfect quiet start to the day before everything gets busy. Always worth the stop.

I think I enjoy the ambience and service more than the food offerings here. I didn't get there names but I was helped first by a younger maybe middle eastern guy who was super nice and helpful when I had questions. Later, a young asian girl stopped by my table a couple times to ask if I needed anything and to take my plates. She was so sweet! I ordered the chai and a snickerdoodle cookie. The chai had decent flavor but I'm not sure if they made it wrong as I asked for it to be made with milk and it tasted nothing but water. It was so light and almost bland, the chai spices would barely come in after drinking it and it lingered in my throat. The cookie was a bit dense and dry, other than the cinnamon topping I didn't get much flavor in the cookie itself, it just tasted like a "plain dough" cookie.

Cute cafe! Was in the area and in the mood for a matcha latte. The iced matcha latte with a twist was delicious! Super refreshing and not overly sweet. Service was fast and friendly!

This place is great! The ambience is amazing; and the best coffee! My new coffee spot in Beverly Hills. The service is above any beyond too! Shout out to the servers and cooks. They consistently checked on us!

Cute boutique cafe serving a variety of beverages (coffee, tea, and smoothies) and my fav brunch favorites. Saw this place pop up on social media a number of times and the vibrant green hollandaise completely captivated my interest and I just had to experience it myself...so naturally I trekked my way over with my favorite taste tester. Thanks to my favorite critic I was able to try a new breakfast dish which I have to say was interesting to the palate in the best way possible. We tried the following two dishes. 1. Eggs Benedict on toast: of course can't rate a brunch place without trying their eggs Benedict. This beautiful dish was well presented with a buttery toast at the bottom topped with a fairly thick spread of what I would describe as a moss green colored spinach pesto (doesn't look real). On top of the pesto spread was a layer of diced tomatoes and avocado slices, two poached eggs, and finally drizzled with a rich layer of a bright, Kelly green colored poblano hollandaise. It was picture perfect. However have to honest I felt the flavor didn't quite reach my expectations. Nevertheless still worth giving it a try. 2. Shakshuka: this was a new dish I tried. Learned it's a popular middle eastern dish that's served in a hot plate made of a chunky tomato sauce/onions/garlic (with slight spice) mixed with feta cheese, two poached eggs, and sprinkled with chili pepper and chive. This dish is served with two slices of bread that you essentially dip into this rich warm masterpiece. Wouldn't mind eating again. Overall a good brunch place. The food presentation was beautiful but the flavor didn't quite meet my expectations. Would still recommend trying if you're in the LA area.

I stopped by to pick up a drink and some pastries for my sisters birthday. Really friendly service and they recommended the iced mint matcha, it was so good. I thought it was a cute spot so I can't wait to try the food! The cookie in this box was great, I love the hint of salt.

After a night out of drinking your first thought might be to have a greasy breakfast but I can assure you this is a much wiser choice. Everything here is so fresh, made with high quality ingredients, and no nasty oils or preservatives. We tried an almond croissant to start and after that I knew everything else was going to be delicious. I personally tried the chicken noodle soup and chicken Caesar wrap and oh boy was I satisfied. The soup was exactly what I needed to revive me and the wrap was a perfect balance of flavor and texture. Everyone else at the table was left satisfied as well. We shared a waffle to end the meal and it was delightful. I was full but didn't feel bloated or regretful after this meal. Not to mention, Juan the manger, was polite and very helpful. The restaurant itself was very clean and so cutely decorated. Don't skip the pastry case because my goodness is it filled with so much goodness. I will be returning when I'm in the area.

The crispy rice bowl with salmon was edible. You could chip a tooth from the crispy rice, and there was barely any salmon. And it was cold, which surprised me because I was told it took time to prepare the salmon. That's unbelievable. BH food is getting too mid-eastern .

Our go to spot! So thrilled that there is a healthy & organic spot to get our morning coffees, pastries and brunch! The food is amazing and the service is even better! Luis pulls the BEST espresso in town. Hector always greets us with a smile and has an infectious energy, which makes our visits that much more enjoyable. You can't go wrong with your order, every coffee drink is great.

I've been to the Beverly Hills and La Jolla locations. Good food and coffee. Very sweet theme throughout. Ingredients are fresh and clean.

2nd Parakeet location I've been to! I was so happy to see there is one walking distance from a work client. Stopped in at 7am for a Flat White (coffee) and worked for about an hour. Great ambiance for working. Music wasn't too loud and because it was so early, it wasn't crowded at all. I didn't try any food this time but many people came in to check if the muffins had arrived so will come back to try! This was my first Flat White and I enjoyed it. I typically get black coffee but this was a nice treat, especially with the artwork. Will be coming back when I visit my client and will try to get my team to have lunch here!

A great spot in BH for gluten free baked goods and breakfast always really nice and helpful staff. Also really good selection, nice ambiance, honestly some of the drinks are overpriced but they have to pay the rent

I stopped by Parakeet Café in Beverly Hills on a weekend brunch mission, and it totally lived up to the hype. The atmosphere is super cute--very bright, chic, and full of plants, making it the perfect place to catch up with a friend or get some solo time with a latte and your laptop. Food was fresh and beautifully presented. The toast had just the right balance of creamy and salty, and the portion was bigger than I expected. The matcha was smooth and not too sweet, which I appreciated. Service was friendly, although a bit slow since it was busy. Still, the staff seemed on top of it and made sure everything came out just right. Only reason I'm docking half a star is that the prices are on the steeper side, even for Beverly Hills--but the quality matches it. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to for good vibes and a healthy brunch.

This is a story of how you really should listen to the suggestion of the restaurant when ordering. I am a first timer after hearing rave reviews of parakeet cafe. I mistakenly ordered the salmon toast not realizing that it's covered with an olive tapinade... not great since I do not love olives. I'm really hating my meal while my friend ordered the parakeet bowl with tofu. I'm so jealous because it smells delicious and looks fantastic. I ordered a vegetarian parakeet bowl and now I'm on board with all the good reviews. Portion is huge and worth the drive. I wouldn't recommend the salmon toast.

Cute cafe the decor is nice and not too much of a line when I went in. I got the chicken pesto sandwich which is like shredded chicken so my partner didn't like it as it reminded him of tuna but I happen to prefer tuna so I really enjoyed it. Matcha was a bit strong but you can tell them to add more flavor of something else. The potatoes that came with my sandwich were my favorite part. I definitely want to try their charcoal pancakes next time

This is a great spot on Beverly for good coffee, tea and healthy eats. Staff is friendly and courteous (everyone seems to have a smile on their face!) and I always feel like I'm running into old friends here because everyone is just so nice. The quality of everything is top-notch. In short, it's a must-visit if you're nearby or visiting from out of town, or if you just want a bunch of healthy options to choose from. Highly recommended!

‍‍‍ In the completely fabulous yet superficial world of Beverly Hills , "Parakeet Cafe" is a beacon of kindness, excellence in product, all within a beautiful setting! The staff is down-to-earth and super kind! I enjoyed the mod/hip California interior design, bright, bold and beautiful with wallpaper of huge parakeets, striped flooring and big windows bringing in the California sunshine! The baked goods display looks fantastic offering many gluten-free options, the staff helpful, especially when it comes to those annoying QR code menus, which sare the epitome of "phoning it in". Can ya tell that I dont like them too much? I ordered an Iced Latte, sooo delicious and then ordered a second one to enjoy on the patio... a delightful spot to hear everyone's ridiculously juicy gossip! With friends like these...as the saying goes. I was visiting and probably wouldn't last a week in LA, but THIS place, this place brings ALL of the things one might enjoy as a visitor because it's hip, gorgeous and down to earth. And all of THAT has got to be due to the management/owner of this wonderful chain of cafes, its' TERRIFIC! I especially liked meeting the staffer whose family is from Puerto Rico , a place near and dear to my heart! To the owners : I don't know what your "secret sauce" is but whatever you're doing, keep doing it because you're the coolest and most down to earth spot in all of Beverly Hills. Kol HaKavod!!!

I was about to get there ACAI and I asked them what's in it ( the front guy didn't know and I had to ask for chef) I was very disappointed to find out they use a sorbet base with literally cane sugar .. go to backyard bowls if u want a clean real acai/ this is def not good for you. So disappointing considering their about clean eating. Now for banana bread - very bad. Super dry. No banana taste. I'm shocked they even put this on shelves

This is my absolute favorite cafe in the whole wide world. I'm so happy that this place is here. The food is all incredible and the matcha is the best. They make their own almond milk which us chefs kiss!! Love love love

Cute cafe in a walkable area. If you sit outside you might see a celebrity, we did. I ordered a $10 vanilla foam matcha and a Cesar wrap. For $10 I'd expect this to be top tier, but I was sadly disappointed by the quality of the matcha and the grittiness. The foam was delicious though. As for the Cesar wrap it was alright. Couldn't taste any Cesar dressing since it had an overwhelming amount of salt. I tried a bite of my friend's waffle and that I'd recommend.

Had an amazing coffee and parfait over at Parakeet Café in Beverly Hills. Highly recommended. Such a cute modern atmosphere with creative offerings. The manager one is a gentleman and top-notch hospitality

The food here is delicious and presented beautifully! Service is wonderful, very fast and friendly. I've tried several of the breakfast dishes, as well as their bake goods, and all of them are outstanding. Prices and portions are fair considering the quality and attention to detail they use. Feel good breakfast to fuel your day exactly the right way!

I came here with my friend. The food was horrible. She found hair in a food and had to return it. My avocado toast tasted like cleaning product and I could not finish it. On top of that the stuff was not really welcoming. The girls working there looked like they didn't want to be there at all and could not wait to leave. When I went to tell them about the hair in the food, the first teenage girl passed by me looking at me like why am I talking to her. Once my friend returned her food we ended up leaving to urth cafe where we were able to have good food with welcoming staff. Overall I do not recommend. At least not this location so far.

Absolutely awful experience at Parakeet Café. From the moment I received my food, several large fruit flies and regular flies were crawling into my salad, while I was actively eating it. I repeatedly had to swat them away, and even saw other guests doing the same. After seeing multiple bugs actually crawling in my salad I was understandably disturbed. I notified the staff, expecting basic concern or a solution. Instead, I was met with a dismissive and frankly insulting response: "Well, it's meant to be eaten right away," as if consuming the salad faster than my regular eating speed would prevent them from flying into my food. I politely asked if they could give me a fresh one to go since my meal was now inedible. They refused, saying it would "waste food" which is absurd, considering it was already ruined and inedible. There was no apology, no accountability, and the staff's attitude was dismissive and rude, implying it was somehow my fault this happened. I mentioned my table was near the kitchen and the countless flies were clearly already in the area and it wasn't as though they arrived for my plate specifically only to be told, "We don't know that." Mind you several flies were flying around us and over my table during the discussion which I pointed out. He acted as though it didn't matter at all rather than having the basic decency to acknowledge that this shouldn't be the experience any customer has at a restaurant. Then he refused to provide a manager's contact when I asked. Between the lack of hygiene with the fruit flies swarming the food, and the staff blaming the customer instead of taking responsibility, this place is one I will definitely be avoiding moving forward.

Super cute ambiance with cute pink neon lights. My mom got a chicken sandwich and I got a grain bowl, and we both loved our meals. The employees were friendly and helpful, and our food came out in a timely fashion. We look forward to going back.

An aesthetic brunch spot! The employee who took our order was friendly and thorough. Both the restaurant atmosphere and food were beautiful, but we did feel that the portion size is smaller than ideal for the price. There is a convenient public lot with free 2hr parking a couple stores down!

Very cute decor and tasty food! I loved the healthy, but aesthetic vibe of all the dishes. A little pricey, but that was expected. There was a lot of seating, which was nice and the service was pretty speedy. I'll be back!

I was so excited to see a Parakeet Café pop up in Beverly Hills--I'm a huge fan of the ones in San Diego, and this new location did not disappoint. The coffee here is seriously next level. I had a flat white and one of their gluten-free scones, and it was absolutely perfect. The GF pastries are hands-down the best I've had anywhere (and I've tried a lot). Vibe is cozy and chic, the staff was friendly, and everything tasted super fresh. I loved it so much I'm already planning to go back today. Beverly Hills, you scored big with this one.

I loved the healthy option on the menu. I was happy with everything I ordered. When you're living a health conscious life it's a perfect place to go. Everything is fresh and delicious. You order and seat down.

Parakeet Café has always been a go to spot for me. It's such a vibrant and welcoming place. Everything is fresh and absolutely delicious. The service is outstanding and the manager Claudia is super attentive, warm and welcoming. Shes super kind and was able to help me find my perfect order. Parakeet offers a menu that is completely seed oil free! They also have Gluten free, and refined free pastries and so much more!! Parakeet is the new spot

The staff here is always the best and the food is absolutely delicious. Izzy Luis Aldo Gianna always make my day when I get there. I love how healthy everything is and clean they keep the place.

Loved this cute cafe so much!! Ordered the chai tea latte, chicken caeser wrap. Soo good. Topped it off with a brown sugar choc chip cookie. Delish! Will definitely be back. (was visiting from vancouver canada)

Rudest wait staff - have never experienced anything so rude from a coffee shop. Coffee is not good enough to tolerate the attitude.
