"This French bistro offers traditional staples with tweaks, whether it be duck confit or steak frites — keep an eye out for seasonal preparations of fish dishes. There’s also a nice French wine bar on the second floor rooftop with a menu of wines by the glass, an aperitif or two, and some snacks — it’s a hit during warmer months." - Missy Frederick

"Brothers Eric and Ian Hilton, the hospitality duo behind Chez Billy Sud, Marvin, El Rey, and Brixton, and several other D.C. bars, have set an opening date for their first Northern Virginia project. A French bistro named Parc de Ville in Merrifield’s Mosaic District (8296 Glass Alley) will start accepting customers on Monday, November 18. Chez Billy chef Brendan L’Etoile designed a menu that pairs classics like onion soup, omelets, and croques sandwiches with more innovative orders like poached prawns with avocado, grapefruit, and Marie Rose sauce. There will be a boudin blanc (white sausage) served with pommes purée, roasted apples, and cider. The 100-seat space will double in size next year with the opening of a second-floor rooftop." - Tierney Plumb

FYI The 20% is standard, they auto charged it even for party of two. Having said that, service is excellent and food is delicious. We have our dog 🐶 with us so we sat outside and it was actually really nice. Recommend both the steak frites and crepes topped with strawberries 🍓.

This is our favorite French restaurant in the area. They offer high-quality French cuisine at affordable prices in a modern setting, with excellent service from the staff. We are regular customers and have noticed that sometimes the food tastes slightly salty. However, the food was fantastic, with outstanding taste and quality during our last visit. We highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys French cuisine without breaking the bank.

What a cute restaurant! I loved the vintage vibes and upbeat music in the background. Shortly after being seated, our server Fidel W. informed us they were sold out of a few things, including their Steak Frites. I wasn't in the mood to drink. I liked how they had a variety of mocktails to choose from. My favorite mocktail was their Ginger Pomegranate Smash! It was quite refreshing. While waiting for our appetizers, we were given semi-sliced baguette and butter. It was a bit harder than what we were used to. Our table shared several appetizers, including Escargot, Moules, Le Cachat, and Chef's Trio of Fine Cheese. It wasn't your typical Escargot dish you'd get at most French restaurants. It had great flavor, but there were only like three burgundy snails, and the rest were mushrooms, which was kind of disappointing. Among the four appetizers, the Moules were my favorite! You can't go wrong with steamed mussels in a creamy white wine sauce. I didn't get a chance to try the La Cachat. One of my friends was intolerant of cheeses made from cow's milk, and it was nice that they were able to offer a variety of goat and sheep cheeses. I'm glad I didn't order the Bueof Bourgoignon or the Duck Confit. They had a smoky flavor, but they were a bit dry. I'm glad I got the Lamb Chops. They were nicely seasoned, had great flavor, and were cooked to perfection.

We were a group of 6 on a Friday night. Atmosphere was lively, menu had plenty of options and food was solid. For French cuisine it's a convenient location, parking and decent price point. *Escargot-not what I expected. A large puffed pastry with escargot in the middle. It was good but soo rich. I could only manage 2 bites. It's a must share... too rich for one person. *Bucatini Provencal- sauce was delicious but would have preferred the noodles more al dente. *Bronzino- prepared well, flavorful Service was ok, busy. We would definitely return... I want to check out their rooftop. It was a bit chilly that night so we didn't really enjoy it.

Great cocktails and beer selection. We were there for a Sunday brunch. The appetizers were good and the server was great (attentive but not too much in your face). Wish the burger was better - nothing special - meat patties with melted cheese in between.

We went for lunch on a Saturday. Not crowded and not empty. Service was slow, bread for the mussels needed numerous requests. French onion soup served in a nice crock with lots of crusty cheese. Decent drinks but nothing stellar. Similar fare to many French bistro restaurants. The decor is the same as Requin(previous restaurant) surprised they didn’t change much. The crew I was with prefer Mon Ami Gabi.

Google
Delicious and cozy dining experience. Really enjoyed the French cuisine and atmosphere. Went here on a Sunday evening, not crowded at all- there were maybe 3 other tables occupied. Loved sitting in the plush green booth, for my table of 3. Our server was attentive and kind to our needs, making great suggestion. I especially loved the Loup de Mer (sea bass), and my French martini. The French Martin’i was sweet and not too strong for a Sunday night.

Good French food. Nice and accommodating restaurant. The general manager was kind and attentive. Good quality of food and portion are typically French style. Moderate to high cost vs. food quality

Yelp
I went to Parc de Ville recently with my girl friends for a brunch date. We all have never been to Parc de Ville before. For appetizers, we shared Moules (or mussels) and Cheese Board to enjoy with mimosas. Both dishes were generous enough for the three of us and we were almost full by the time our entrees arrived. For our entrees, we ordered Croque Madame, Crepes, and Omelettes. We were all impressed on how our dishes were presented. Everything was delicious! Our server was extremely helpful and made sure we have everything we need. Too bad I forget her name but she's amazing. I would definitely love to go back to Parc de Ville to try their dinner menu. Highly recommended!

Yelp
I've been wanting to try Parc de Ville for some time now. Dinner wasn't great. Wasn't bad. Just kinda in the middle! First off. The restaurant is very pretty inside. I like the decor! Feels like a modern French Bistro. Good thing it wasn't a super hot day because their AC was out when we were there. Our waiter was sweating bullets. We ordered the short rib boeuf bourguignon and steak frites. The short rib was nicely cooked but had a strange flavor I couldn't place. Like an odd herb they used. The mashed potatoes were yummy. They need to work on their vegetable sides. I got no mushrooms and way too many onions. The dish could have benefitted from some carrots. My husband's steak was very undercooked. The fries needed salt. But the sauce was tasty! We didn't have dessert. We were all very hot during dinner. Maybe the rooftop would have been nicer?

Yelp
I came here with the hopes that my collegaues and I could catch happy hour on their rooftop bar. But to our disappointment; we were told that the rooftop wasn't open on Tuesdays due to lack of staff. I wished this information was stated on their website so we could planned accordingly. We decided to stay and try it out even though we were not able to order the happy hour menu and be seated on the rooftop. No one greeted us when we walked inside but the customer service did improve later in the evening. Our waitress was great. She gave us recommendations and constantly came by to check on us. The food runners and other staff were equally friendly. I loved the decor and the modern French bistro vibes at Parc de Ville. And the patio area was really cute as well. We sat outside because the weather was beautiful that evening. Drinks-- we ordered Desperado, Chelsea Boot and a few Old Fashioned. Drinks were made well and alcohol ratio was strong. Food-- we ordered the escargot, pate, dozen raw oysters, steak frites, duck confit, creme brule and chocolate mouse cake. The stand outs were the duck confit and pate. The duck was crispy and tender and bursting with flavor. The l'ornage sauce goes so well with it. The pate was light and not overpowering but still very flavorful. Very good with the accompanying toasted bread. Overall, a good experience. I would like to try to come back again for the rooftop experience.

Yelp
The decor and vibe here takes you right to France, from the tiles to the table and bar gives you the modern French bistro feel. Our server was super friendly, full of personality and was very helpful with menu recommendation. My friend ordered a espresso martini and I got to have a sip of it, and wow very good I was super tempted to get one. I ordered the Steak Frites, which is a pan roasted skirt steak, sauce béarnaise, frites. My steak was cooked perfectly to medrare, béarnaise sauce was right amount of seasoning, creamy and complimented the steak very well. The frites, cut to perfection, cooked to the right crispiness. I also shared the Bucatini Provencal with my friend and I loved that the noodles was al denti. It had pistachio pistou, roasted tomato, basil, and pecorino. I loved that the pasta was dressed full of fresh pistachio, not a heavy sauce where I didn't feel guilty eating it. You can tell all the ingredients used in the pasta were fresh. My other friend ordered the Croque Madame in which I did get to get a bite of it. It's a grilled ham & Gruyère sandwich, friend egg, sauce mornay. Talk about cheesiness--it was so delicious and definitely a sandwich I'd get for brunch.

Alesia S.

Yelp
Stopped in for a drink before going to see a movie. Sat at the bar and was the only patron at the time. I was quickly offered food and drink menus by the bartender, along with being provided water. I ordered the espresso martini. It was delicious. The aesthetic was very nice inside. I would definitely return.

Yelp
We had a mediocre experience at Parc de Ville when we visited for an early dinner. Parc de Ville is a mainstreamed French restaurant at the base of the Archer hotel in Mosaic district. For service, there appeared to be only one server working the entire restaurant and would often zoom past with half-past or zero acknowledgement. We could see 5+ employees working in the kitchen, but only one was available in the dining area. I was a bit underwhelmed by the drinks we ordered, though the food was excellent. Highly recommend the steak frites and short ribs! This is one of a few restaurants that have complimentary bread - and very good in softness and flavor. The La Chachat was excellent as well. The restaurant seemed completely lacking of any air conditioning. It was difficult to enjoy the food for the lack of air, and there was no mention or indication from the staff. When I looked up, I noticed a large stain in the corner of the dining area. I also noticed a missing light above the bar area. Overall, for the price of the meal, I was unimpressed with the ambiance, though the flavors were good. With air conditioning and more servers, though could have been an excellent experience.

Jana L.

Yelp
Happy hour fries were a little sad - just down the street B-side has beef fat fries that knock these out of the park - so for the price I was underwhelmed. They also came out really quick and a little cold so I do question the freshness? I am also, admittedly, a little biased. I used to live in walking distance of Mon Ami in Reston and I loved their happy hour fries and French 75 so I was looking for a replacement. This just didn't do it for me in the fry department... However, the bartender's Aperol spritz was solid and for the $8, quite unbeatable. Maybe I just didn't pick the right combo here, but I am willing to try again

Yelp
Well priced, good food and well decorated.   My experience at Parc de Ville was very enjoyable. The restaurant was nicely decorated, clean and well-lit while still keeping an intimate feeling. The menu is not large however it is diverse in its offerings. I ordered the "STEAK-FRITES" which I would recommend. The steak was well cooked and the fries were very flavorful.   The service was also good. The hosts were kind and the wait staff were attentive. Everyone that I interacted with from the restaurant was cheerful and friendly.   Overall, I recommend checking out Parc de Ville for a good date night spot or any other dinner occasion.

Yelp
Food was decent but not that special. Service was nice with sweet workers. The ambiance is very clean and upscale vibe

Yelp
Happy Hour Review: Came here around 5:20 and it was already filling up! Happy Hour is from 4-6pm Tues-Thursday. Friday all day. Either in the bar area (which does have high tops) or on the rooftop (if it's open--idk what the criteria is for it to be open). Parking available in the garages or street. It does get pretty packed (even on a Tuesday). Wanted to go to happy hour with some work friends to destress, and we sat in the bar area. Initially were gonna sit at the bar, but we wanted to see each other's and it was hard with 5 people. They were able to put 2 hightops together for us--which was so nice of them! Bartender was kind as well, gave us last call notices for end of happy hour to allow us to put it some last minute drink and food orders. Food was delicious! Burger was so good-i ate the whole thing!! Frites were seasoned well and sauces were yummy! Overall, had a blast and would love to come back and check out some other menu items. Happy hour menu is small but they have several options for food and drinks.

Yelp
My girlfriend took me out for brunch and I picked this place because it was on the top 50 places to eat in Washingtonian magazine. Overall we had a great time, didn't feel rushed, service was great and the food was good...not mind blowing or exceptional like I was hoping for. Escargot app was more mushroom tasting than anything...I think prefer the traditional in some garlic butter and right out the shell....tasty though if you like mushrooms. We also had the mussels app which was decent, forgot to take a pic. The crusty fresh bread was probably the best part. My croque madam and the smoke salmon was very average. The crème brulee was yummy and maybe the best part of the meal with my latte which was very yummy too. I'm thinking it made the top 50 list because of the combination of ambiance, service, and food....definitely not based on just the food.

Yelp
This French restaurant in Mosaic has a pleasant aesthetic and vibe, good service and good French food. The mock tails and wines were good, too. My duck confit was divine, perfectly prepared. And my wife adored her pate de Campagne. It is pricey, but we will be back very soon!

JC R.

Yelp
Excellent escargot hidden inside this very fluppy puff pastry with very flavorful sauce. My halibut has a great taste to it but it's slightly overdone. the rest of our meals were good. Pardon me, but I remembered the drinks were okay we had more drinks than food item, i think so our total for two = $269 plus 20% tip = $324. Service was good and our server alerted us that gratuity was included in the bill so that was good, no need to calculate 20% only additional if warranted... The place was decorated well with high open but painted white ceiling. I want to return for their apres ski on Saturdays before it ends in March for sure.

Melody Y.

Yelp
Great service, nice ambiance, a little pricy, but I'd come back to try other menu items. Beef tartare: exploding with flavors that help to mask the texture. French onion soup: really good, not too salty, comes with a lot of cheese Steak frites/daube de boeuf: both entrees were good. The mushrooms had a lot of flavor and paired very well with the beef.

Rachel K.

Yelp
Loved the ambience of this restaurant! The lavender goat cheese app was definitely unique; the main dishes were good too. Definitely stop by for a nice dinner out!

Judy L.

Yelp
This restaurant hasn't disappointed me once. Menu has changed and portion seems a bit smaller but that leaves room to eat more other delicious dishes. Excellent service. GREAT WITH KIDS!!! Ambiance can be romantic but is also family friendly.

Taylor J.

Yelp
This is a really cute spot! We were recommended the half chicken and WOW was it tasty! It's a great vibe and I would definitely recommend it. I've been here twice now and haven't been disappointed.

Rebecca M.

Yelp
Delicious food! Especially the salmon and mussels! The restaurant is beautifully decorated and very clean. The manager checked on every table and was lovely, our busser Rosio was fantastic, but our waiter Eric was terrible... still a great time that we look forward to frequenting. Pics of mussels, salmon en croute, Beef Bourguignon, cocktails blossom spritz and bittered bees knees.

Yelp
Cute place at Mosaic. Came here with a group of girlfriends. The food was great, the vibe was fun, service a little slow. It was peak dinner time though.. overall we had a good time.

Christine K.

Yelp
I'm only giving three stars because I've only tried a couple items on the menu. The first well-sauced escargot pictured was the reason I went back two weeks later. It was that good. Unfortunately, the second visit left me a bit wanting...of more of that delicious sauce. They hired a new head chef who didn't add as much sauce as my first visit. The bartender was kind enough to bring me a side of sauce when I asked. The French Onion soup is more on the sweet side (maybe heavier on the sherry) than I prefer. The fries were a standout! I plan to go back and try their steak frites and will update my review.

Nicole L.

Yelp
Beautiful new restaurant in the area. It encapsulates the vibe of a French brasserie, however I did not feel that the food lived up to the standards of authentic French food. I had the beef tartare and the proportions seemed to be a bit off. It was way too acidic and did not have the rich and delicate flavor profile one associates with that dish.

Andrew P.

Yelp
A good friend of mine was DJing on the roof, and after wanting to see him for literally a year at this point, our schedules and proximity finally lined up. I was able to park in the garage across the street (have to pay on Saturdays), and I walked in. The first floor is a full-on restaurant, but it only took me a few seconds to find the stairs -- though there was no sign indicating what they lead to. As soon as I got to the top I knew I was in the right place. It's open, and they happened to be some art on display while DJs (including my friend) were spinning. There is a very long ledge with several stools for putting food or drinks, and there were also several tables on the slightly lower level. The bar is in the back corner, which was my first stop. I was recommended their version of the Bee's Knees drink, which is usually pretty sweet, but they added a bitter twist to it. It was good!! Drinks were a little $$ so I opted for just one -- but I totally love the vibe of the place. DJ or not, it's great to hang out at when the weather cooperates. I cannot speak on the food, but I will have to return for that. Looking forward to when I do!

Jason Y.

Yelp
This review is on behalf of my wife and her friends who went there last night. Pros: - atmosphere is cute Cons: - horrible hostess. Group got there 30 minutes early and it looked like there was obvious empty seats/tables available. Group asked if they'd be able to get seated earlier and the hostess with an attitude gave her response rudely. A simple "sorry, we can't" would've been nice. - ordered a medium steak which was over cooked. Called the waiter over to have it fixed. Their manager or someone came over and instead of an apology they started explaining how steaks are cooked in a patronizing way. - with the correction of the steak they under cooked this time and gave us essentially a rare steak. Instead of sending it back, decided to take it home and cook it later. - check had issues. You have a option to pay with google pay. The paper check was accurate, the google pay version was not. Why offer google pay if you're not going to update that properly? Overall: This should be a 0.5 review. Maybe our experience would've been better with a different host and other employees we encountered. But based on who we interacted with.....this place is not worth visiting. Their automatic 20% service fee provides no incentive for their workers to provide good service. Diners should be able to put in a negative tip amount if service is crap!

Marryam S.

Yelp
We went to the rooftop for an afternoon snack and drink. There is a sign saying to order at the bar, we ordered Steak tartare and a French Martini. The bartender was very friendly and accommodating. All the seats with umbrella were taken so we had to sit at the stools with little room for drink and a plate . When sitting there you are right on top of people sitting a few feet under and can hear everything. The food was really good and so was the service.

Fergie L.

Yelp
I frequented Mon Ami Gabi before it closed down in Reston. I'm also half Parisian, not that it matters but I like French food. This is probably the most decent Americanized version of French food you will get under $200 for 2 people.

Iris F.

Yelp
Terrific happy hour, wine, martinis, onion soup Gamal our bartender/waiter was super great. Brian checked up on us. Staff was super, jazz night made it extra special. Our first time there but we'll be back

Elaine P.

Yelp
We were looking forward to a return visit to Parc de Ville. Sadly, we were disappointed. It was a chilly, post-holiday evening. We were happy we could walk across the courtyard of the Archer Hotel and into the warm interior of the restaurant. We had Open Table reservations and were promptly seated. After that things slowed down. It took a bit longer than expected for our drinks to arrive. Nothing complicated: a beer and a glass of wine. Our order was simple: two Bistro Burgers with fries. It took almost an hour from the time we were seated for the meal to arrive! During that time, our server did not stop by even once to explain the slow service. I had a good view of the kitchen from my seat and could not detect any stress in the kitchen. Our plates were finally delivered by a different server. When I asked about the delay she rolled her eyes and blamed the kitchen. Perhaps staff shortage right after the holidays? Our server reappeared when it was time for our check. Suddenly friendly and chatty. Wanted to know the origin of our name. Odd question! One other thing that annoyed me was the overly casual appearance of the young hostess. Yes, a bistro is casual, but first impressions make a difference. Jeans, a sweatshirt, and cloth tennis shoes are a bit too casual IMO. The food? Good, not great. With many nearby options, we may not return. The previous visit really felt like a French bistro. Great food and service. Probably would have rated it four or five stars. This time it felt like an ordinary American meal. Three stars at best.

Jim H.

Yelp
Came here in a Friday around 8:30. Parking was easy as it's located next to 2 garages. The place was packed. That being said the service was still great and our waiters all had good suggestions. We hand multiple changes of waiters, not sure why but either way the the transition was smooth. Loved the ambience, it reminded me of being in a nice hotel restaurant. The high ceilings and well lit area made the mood better. We ordered the escargot, cheese platter, steak and grits, and steak tar tar, and a few cocktails. All the dishes were excellent as were the drinks I generally don't like blue cheese but for some reason it was great here. Lastly, they asked us to cut into the steak and check the temperature which was great, and something that only higher end steak restaurants do so that was nice.

Emily A.

Yelp
Dinner out with a dear friend was wonderful! The food was quite good and the ambiance really made for a lovely evening. The Cheese board and country pâté was solid and the branzino was a great flavor though not a whole fish. The only area for improvement was our waiter that was not very attentive ( we had to ask for silver ware and pour water) and he did not seem to care that he took another waiter's table and made unkind comments about him. It sort of set a lower tone for the service received. Perhaps my rating would have been higher if I stayed for the roof top DJ - the beats sounded great! Maybe I will try another time to see if the experience changes for the better.

Krithika S.

Yelp
Overall ambiance and vibes of the restaurant was amazing. The decor is very cute! Our server was very attentive and offered recommendations based on our questions. The food overall was okay, but I also just may not be a big fan of French food. Big fan of the escargot, La cachat and Poulet Roti. The salmon was a bit overcooked. The bucatini provencal was pretty good, but I'd definitely get the poulet roti over that one. The rice pudding was delicious! It has caramel and caramelized sugar on top for some crunchy pieces and wasn't too sweet! The creme brulee unfortunately did not live up to expectations at a French restaurant.

Dana P.

Yelp
My husband and I scheduled a monthly date night at Parc de Ville and this time, I can say I was highly disappointed. The drinks, caesar, French onion soup and escargot were solid. In particular, the escargot; however, the mussels were super fishy. My husband enjoyed the short ribs, but when offered an alternative entree, I completely passed. The poor seafood taste entirely turned me off. We have had prior good experiences at this restaurant and I have previously been recommended the mussels, which I order frequently elsewhere, but wow, what a miss.

Ameera B.

Yelp
A friend and I enjoyed a delicious dinner here following a movie in the mosaic district. We had a reservation and were seated in a lovely spot by a window. I'll note however that there didn't seem to be a bad seat in this space! There were comfy looking booths, as well as a rooftop with a limited menu. Delicious bread and butter was brought to the table shortly after we were seated. This was the perfect starter. I ordered the pistachio pesto bucatini and my friend got the burger. We were both pleased! The bucatini was a sizable serving and I ended up with leftovers. Having enjoyed those leftovers since, I can say they held up very well! I'll add that I enjoyed a cocktail too. I believe it was called the rose window. It was gin based- floral and perfect for summer sipping. If I were to come back I'd look out for a rooftop happy hour, or something similar. All in all, consider this spot for dining in the Mosaic district. I doubt you'd be disappointed.

Yelp
Me and my family were very excited to try Parc De Ville and I love French food. The decor inside was simply beautiful especially since we went during holiday season. Overall, the food was amazing and I loved my Duck Confit, as the skin was crispy and the meat was juicy and tender. The sauce was also amazing and the potato side dish was crispy. Besides that, my family really enjoyed the French onion soup, steak tartare, salmon, and rice pudding. First time trying steak tartare and it was simply great, but needed more bread haha. Now time for why I gave a 3 star review. The service was not great, as our waiter didn't even try saying more then a few words to us and didn't seem in a good mood. Additionally, my family was really disappointed with the Sea Bass order as there was barely any meat and it was mostly skin. Though the manager was kind enough to give us a free dessert and refund us for the bad sea bass.

Jill V.

Yelp
We love this restaurant! Christiana greeted us in the warmest way possible on our date night! Fidel Mejia was our server and he was just so awesome! He was very attentive and gave service with a smile! We ordered a wine that was from Spain and tasted like BAROLO (my personal fav) with their somm Brian and just had the best time! This staff has some major style too! Beautiful time, beautiful ppl!

Yelp
3.5 rounding up to 4 Is this on par with L'Auberge Chez Francois (Great Falls, VA), Bistrot Du Coin (DC), or Tersiguel's (Ellicott City, MD) no it is not. But it is decent French inspired food for an urban shopping center location. Logistics: forget street parking. There is a nearby parking garage, but it can fill up quick on weekends. Reservations are available via Open Table. Online ordering is via Toast https://www.toasttab.com/parc-de-ville/v3 There is a rooftop lounge, but we ate inside. Onion soup is the star. Lots of cheese and a solid strong beef broth plus plenty of onions. Moules frites were meh both on the mussels and the fries. The cheese plate was decent but the cheese portions were small. The pate de campagne was excellent. Perfect texture and awesome flavors. The wine list is limited, but has some good options, albeit at a considerable markup. For example, the 2017 Château de Grandchamp which generally retails around $20 a bottle is $72 here. Service was good. Would come back if already at the Mosaic shopping district. Would not go out of my way to come here.

Yelp
Finally made it to this spot after moving to Merrifield this spring. I had been dying to check out the rooftop and it did not disappoint! Nice couches, tables, hanging lights, a little fireplace. They had some very good happy hour deals depending on what you like. We got the chefs choice charcuterie with two glasses of wine for around $22. The cheeses were outstanding and the wine was also very good. I got the French martini which was a beautiful purple color-- I highly recommend. We had other dinner plans for the evening, but will definitely have to come back for more food and drinks!

Yelp
Just came here for dessert but was pleasantly surprised. The ambiance was obviously amazing. We were hoping to go to the rooftop lounge but it was closed because it was cold. (5) The ginger pomegranate smash was nice but very ginger forward. However, the tourte au chocolat was beautifully rich with a wonderfully tart creme fraiche ice cream paired with it. (5) The bartender was also incredibly kind and welcoming despite it being close to closing time. (5)

Yelp
I had high expectations when I walked in, and I was pleasantly surprised when I saw how nice the decor was. The appetizers were good with the steak tartare being my favorite, but the entrees were so heavy and put a ton of cheese when it wasn't needed. The service was excellent and they were polite. Overall I don't think I'll be visiting again.

Yelp
Very nicely decorated restaurant with nice service. However the menu is very limited and price is high. The complimentary bread was very fresh and delicious.

Yelp
This is such a great addition to Mosaic District! I dined here with a work colleague to celebrate their recent promotion and enjoyed our dinner here. We started off with the escargot and salad maison (that bistro vinaigrette is addicting!), and la chachat. Let me tell you, the goat cheese smothered in honey was absolutely divine! For our entrees, we split the daube de bouef and duck confit as recommended by our server. Both were hearty and we were satisfied and stuffed afterward. There was an extensive wine list, but you could get wine anywhere so we went with cocktails for the evening. My favorite was the Rose Garden which was the perfect concoction of tart and sweet, and refreshing, especially for the warm weather. My colleague enjoyed their L'Americain and raved about the orange zest. The restaurant itself felt charming and was reminiscent of the bistros that we dined at in Paris. There's also a rooftop bar which would probably be a super fun happy hour during the warmer months!

Yelp
Cute French bistro, perfect for brunch or cocktails. Love the French toast, and the Bees Knees cocktail, and the staff are attentive and kind. They have a tiny rooftop which is nice, and rare in NoVa, and although it doesn't have much of a view, it has a well stocked rooftop bar and is perfect for date night. I do of course wish they had a few more veggie savory options on their menu, but definitely worth a visit.

Yelp
The vibes inside are fresh and modern with velvet blue booths with black and white wallpaper. But the rooftop is where it's at! Super cute with a floral mural on the side of the building along with strung lights. Takes me back to a little bistro in France yet I'm in the Mosaic District on the corner of a building! They usually have a live DJ and the food is a French twist with items like La Cachat and Steak Tartare. They offer sophisticated cocktails like Frozen Aperol Spritz but their mojitos are my favorite because they use the fresh mint that is growing in the pot right in front of the bar. My go to items are the Bucatini Provencal and the Smoked Salmon Dip. I know they still have the bucatini but they took the salmon dip off the menu. Loved the consistency of the pistachio pesto sauce. Service was a bit slow but I think that's because their so new and still trying to get acclimated. Bartenders were working hard, cranking the drinks out! Mosaic district needed a vibey rooftop like this!

Yelp
Decided to try this place out on Valentine's Day cause the hubby was craving mussels. Wasn't able to make a reservation through Opentable but did add my name to the waitlist on the way here. Once we arrived, we were seated. We started with the escargot and for mains I got the sea bass while my husband got the mussels. The escargot was served as a spread, not whole snails, with a puff pastry and bread. Absolutely delicious - very herby and garlicky. The sea bass was yummy but to me, not totally filling so get a side of fries. The mussels was heavy in rosemary and the sauce was extra creamy. SOOO many mussels and the fries were very crispy. Leo, our server, was very sweet, attentive and nice. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
The restaurant is very cute and has great energy. It is very aesthetically pleasing to the eye and super clean. The menu is not super extensive but the options are great. I read the Yelp reviews and opted for the Salmon. It was fantastic and full of flavor. At the end of the meal, we opted for 3 dessert options and all were fantastic. The service was good and the staff was attentive. We came for dinner on a Friday and it was busy. Reservations are highly recommended.

Yelp
The escargot and steak tartare were my favorites and I would have loved to give this place 5 stars but they got rid of steak tartare! Please bring it back!!

Yelp
This place absolutely DUNKS on le dip (which has gone downhill the last few years IMO) The mixology is amazing, and the food is just incredible! I had the salad frisée with amazing pear and bacon lardons that was super balanced and refreshing. I also had the jambonneau pork shank which was melt in your mouth. Finally, I had the bouef which was PERFECTION fall off the bone. Just an incredible place that I'll keep coming back to! A bit pricey but their execution is stellar!

Yelp
Decided last minute to go here for brunch. I made reservations online via open table, which was straightforward and easy. Upon arrival, the host mentioned that our table wasn't ready, but offered us a different option and sat us down immediately. She offered us water and brought it to us shortly. The restaurant had a nice vibe to it, some people were dressed up and some were causal. There is a bar area and outside seating as well. I ordered the pain perdu, which came with 4 pieces of french toast, oranges, some blueberries, and the maple syrup. thought the portion was going to be a little bigger as I was pretty hungry. My fiancé ordered the salon tartine - he enjoyed his food, although he did mention that he was a little salty. Again, the portion was a little small. We both ordered a french martini and it came out super strong, a little too strong that it was overpowering the pineapple juice. I had to ask the waiter to put more juice in mine as I was having a hard time finishing it. Note: Gratitude is already included in the bill regardless of how many people.
