Parc Floral de Paris in the Bois de Vincennes is one of the best places in the city to take children. The park combines beautiful green surroundings with some of the most varied playgrounds in Paris.
The playgrounds themselves are excellent: from traditional swings, slides, and tunnels for the younger ones, to impressive climbing structures and even a six-meter slide for older kids. There’s also a mini-golf course with holes inspired by Paris landmarks, pedal cars (“Rosalies”), and plenty of space to run around.
What makes the park stand out is the mix: children can play safely while parents enjoy the gardens, lakes, and botanical displays. In summer, concerts and family events add even more life to the visit. There are cafés, picnic areas, and good facilities, making it easy to spend a half or full day here.
A couple of notes: the larger play structures are best for older children, and the park can get crowded on weekends or holidays.
