Parc Jarry

Impressed! I went to this park and was truly surprised by the size of it. It has a lot of nice sports fields (soccer, basketball, tennis, baseball), a huge greenery area, a kids' playground, and a beautiful fountain by the lake. If you are going to this park I strongly recommend you bring a tablecloth to sit on the grass, along with some snacks, and water. You may also consider bringing some ball/games to play with your friends or family as the environment is perfect for that. Anyway, it’s a very democratic place, anyone can have fun! Whether you are a sporty person or someone who likes to relax/stroll, I’m sure you’ll have a great time at this park. Highly recommend it!

My favorite park in the city. We often get cappuccinos & snacks at Boulangerie Jarry and then walk down to the park for a little picnic. There are lots of very different areas - the large pond, with ducks and red winged blackbirds and a big fountain in the middle; a huge grassy expanse, where people often gather to fly planes, sunbathe, or let children & pets run around; a large playground area for kids; and an excess of sports areas. There's a large sports complex and a public swimming pool bordering the park as well, and a splash pad for kids (though it isn't always up and running). Between all these spaces are plenty of treed areas and grassy hills to lounge on! It's my little happy place in the city. I would highly recommend a visit :)

Beautiful, large park. Plenty of space for grilling, field activities like soccer or Frisbee baseball courts, basketball courts, playgrounds, and so much more!

Beautiful park with different areas designated for various sports, basketball, football, skateboarding/BMX/Scootering…,Volleyball/Beach Volleyball, Tennis, Kids/Toddlers/Babies playground, Baseball. The paths are great both for walking, running and biking. The grounds are spectacular for hanging out, picnic, playing catch, frisbees, setting up kids camp, or flying kites. There are picnic tables where families can set up a portable bbq grill. The vibes of this park is so lively and everybody is just having a good time. Dog friendly park; And also a great venue for outdoor celebrations. The park is very well maintained. Good parking area, little puddles during spring and maybe a little rooster tail during summer.

Very beautiful place with a nice little lake. You can see people are around all smiling and having good time, which gives you a very good mood. Always clean and well maintained. Summer time it’s a great spot for picnicking thanks tall tree’s cool shade and in the fall it’s a colour’s festival.

Huge, huge park. You can sit anywhere with a bbq... the fountain area is really cool with the spray hitting you when the wind blows & cools you off..pretty area near the water body...the play area was really crowded though. Saw a cricket match in progress & a wedding and several parties..

Large park with many paths and different areas for various sports (including a pool) and a playground. A lovely pond and many benches and seating areas. Though there are a few areas with trees, it is generally pretty open. There is a separate dog park.

Parc Jari is close to the Castelnou station on the blue line. It is a beautiful park with a large barbecue area, Picnic, as well as many spaces for physical activities. It has courts for tennis, basketball, soccer, sand volleyball, it has a public swimming pool, it has ping-pong tables. In addition, it has a beautiful landscape for photos, the lake is a gift from nature, which gives the park a special charm. During the winter the lake turns into an ice skating rink.
