"Lowcountry restaurant Parcel 32 converted its private event space into a second floor bar named the Parlour. The upstairs destination provides lounge seating for those looking to sip a classic cocktail, beer, or wine. The Parlour serves a limited menu of Parcel 32’s greatest hits, including the pecan meal hush puppies and the smash burger. The Parlour also offers food specials like Fried Fish Sandwich Sundays, where patrons can order chef Shuan Brian Sells’ fancy version of the Southern classic with a glass of wine or beer for $10. And on Wednesday, Jan. 23, the bar will offer $1.50 oysters shucked to order. The Parlour opens Tuesday through Sunday, from 5 p.m. to close. Happy hour takes place on Tuesday through Friday, from 5 to 7 p.m. The Parlour offers late-night dining on Friday and Saturday, from 10 p.m. to midnight." - Erin Perkins

"Melfi’s, Renzo, and Parcel 32, even if the world hasn’t yet caught on to that last one. I stopped by for dinner recently, and it’s just as good as when I reviewed it. Then again, I’m inclined to be charmed by a restaurant which puts callaloo on its specials sheet." - Erin Perkins
"Reopened in a former longtime seafood spot, this breezy, versatile space works equally well for relaxed brunch and refined dinner service, with comfy couches in a living-room–like entryway and gold light fixtures with lucite bar stools. The menus overlap at times (notably the pecan-meal hush puppies topped with pimento cheese and Benton’s smoked bacon powder), but the bar menu boasts a blended mushroom–beef smash burger that’s a bargain on Tuesday nights with a draught beer; an upstairs cocktail room was also planned to open for late-night classics." - Lyndsey Matthews
"Parcel 32 is a restaurant in Charleston where chef Digby Stridiron explores American cuisine through the lens of his ancestral food and the transatlantic trade. The menu is constantly changing and aims to tell the story of various cultures and their influence on American food. The restaurant sources sustainable proteins and incorporates flavors from the Virgin Islands, reflecting the chef's heritage." - Erin Perkins
