“Table champêtre” by chef Dominic Labelle and his team in Austin, QC. One of the best table I have had the chance to enjoy in my life. 7 services of fresh, tasty, inventive, delicious and beautiful dishes. All made from just picked ingredients in their garden and/ or greenhouses and seasonal delicacies. Add to this a well researched and extensive “cave à vin”! “Parcelles” is a must for foodies and gourmets alike. Reservations are required and the calendar opens the 1st of the month preceding the reservation schedule. Only 19 guests at a time so it fills up very quickly. But then you get treated like royalty. To note: When we were there, one of the guests was allergic to seafood and had mentioned this in the reservation form. The chefs had already noted and had prepared an alternative to the dish containing lobster. The guest comment was that his dish was possibly better than ours.

You come for the atmosphere and the fresh, delicious food. Seating is limited to 20 people, so it's best to reserve in advance directly through their website. They’re open from Friday to Sunday, noon to 9 PM. Parking is available on the street, and you walk to the house where the wood-fired oven is located to place your order. The menu is fixed, offering starters and a shared pizza for $50 per person (including taxes and tips). You can add a bottle of wine or cider for $40+. Payment is made before seating yourself in the open garden area, where picnic tables are set up. There is no service to the table. When your starters are ready, your name is called, followed shortly by your pizza. You also clear your own table, bringing dishes to a designated spot. From what I understand, this is due to their permit regulations. But as I mentioned, you come for the view, the atmosphere, and the fresh food. It’s an experience in itself. You’ll dine among rows of lettuce, kale, broccolini, carrots, zucchini, and other vegetables, all while watching the sunset over Lake Memphremagog, wine glass in hand.

Perfect for an expensive picnic with excellent fresh ingredients cultivated on the farm. Wine was expensive and was serve in a duralex water glass. Tip included, mosquitos and deer flies bring repellent. Overall it’s a perfect spot to connect with nature. Not overcrowded, RESERVATION MANDATORY

I went to Parcelles thanks to work. They had organized a trip altogether and we went for the full experienced. We saw what plants and vegetables they grow there. They gave us a full tour and explained us what they are working on and what they were currently growing. They even have their own free range chickens. We all sat down and had a beautiful dinner’s night together. Their food is beyond. The pizza was made in a stone oven and inexplicable in words, the porc strips were great, they had even brought us veggies they grow with a tasty dip. The wine was very sweet but yet very good and flavourful. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Beautiful and peaceful spot in Austin, QC to have an easy-going relaxed lunch in nature. Menu is simple but ingredients are fresh from their home garden so we were quite pleased. Good selection of wine. Wood oven made the bread and pizza delightful. Our dog enjoyed the premises as well and the owners’ dogs! A homey feel with friendly service, we’ll definitely be back!

Met this fabulous place by coincidence. We were in the area and it was the lunch time. Pulled out Google review and drove to the place. We were lucked out as they allowed us to stay for lunch as they had a set or two spare to treat extra . Otherwise, you need to booked ahead of time. What can I say? Totally smitten by the experience. What a beautiful day to be out in the garden to have locally grown, locally made and locally prepared meals! I would say it’s fitting to have a bit of ´petite bourgeoisie ´ in the French area of Canada. To taste the diverse and rich Canadian culinary culture. Just go and try, you won’t be disappointed.

I wish I could give them a higher review, but I simply can’t look past the fact that they almost sent me to the hospital. I have an anaphylactic allergy to egg and pine nuts which Parcelles was made aware of days before in addition to when we arrived to eat. For one of the courses, the dish contained an egg based sauce that I had never had before. As I was about to take a spoonful, my mom told me she thought it had egg, and we paused to double check. The server told us it did, and I was astounded how little this fact concerned the restaurant staff, particularly the waiter. If someone at my table hadn’t pointed this fact out at the last minute, I would have had an allergy reaction and would have been in the hospital. By all accounts, they let that happen. There were no sincere apologies and no additional attention to detail going forward. Instead it was the contrary, with kitchen staff taking shots later in the service and our waiter “tasting” (a lot) of wine before serving bottles to tables. Drinking on the job in any other circumstance would be viewed as very unprofessional. We emailed the restaurant after to express the problems that night. To our disgust it has been serval weeks and we have yet to receive a response. For a restaurant of this caliber, this is an absolute shame and no one should look past this, whether you have an allergy or not.

Amazing set up for any type of evening. Went there for a bachelorette with 10 people and again with my family and toddler. Food is fabulous, view is breathtaking. I wish it would be easier to book a spot but maybe that’s what makes it so special.

Yelp
Some friends introduced us to to Parcelles this evening. Wow! What an awesome experience. Parcelles is a farm with a restaurant onsite. Parcelles brings farm to table to a new level by putting the table in the middle of a farm field. Finding your way to your table at Parcelles you walk through their vegetable garden and past the chickens and are then seated at a picnic table over looking the fields and Lake Memphremagog. It is truly one of the most beautiful settings you can imagine. The menu is a prix fix which in our case included a selection of local cheeses, fresh vegetables, Matane shrimp, and a pizza cooked in their outdoor pizza oven topped off with a blueberry vanilla cake with cream cheese icing. After a recent article in La Presse resulted in a flood of guests descending on Parcelles they now operate by reservation only. Upon arriving, you place your order and pay right away and you are given a picnic basket with your cutlery and plates which you can take to a picnic table or to a spot in the field if you brought your own picnic blanket. Dogs are welcome. The food is as spectacular as the setting. This is truly a spot that everyone must try. It is certainly worth planning a day trip from Montréal to enjoy a meal at Parcelles.
