I have always enjoyed coming here, but my last visit was really disappointing. First off, we were charged a $40 service fee for just three people. I’ve been here multiple times and never had that happen, but fine, if that’s the new policy, I can understand. The issue is that if you’re going to charge that kind of fee, the service should actually match it. We waited 40 minutes for our food, had to flag down our waiter for another round of drinks, and then his shift ended. The new server taking over was literally making out with a customer (I’m assuming his girlfriend) right in front of us across the table & then came over to check on our table. Honestly, that’s not professional, and it felt really off-putting. To top it off, when the bill came, I was charged for three items when I only ordered two. I had to ask them to fix it, which is frustrating, especially when there’s already a mandatory service fee. At the end of the day, if you’re going to add a big service charge, the service needs to be attentive and professional , not sloppy and inappropriate. Between the long wait, the unprofessional behavior, and the billing error, I can’t see myself coming back.

I’ve been to Parchados en la Fonda twice now, and both times have been incredible! Their presentation is really top tier, especially on their drinks. They have such fun Halloween cocktails at the moment! The food is always so delicious - my favorites are the corn dip, empanadas, and paella croquettes. The servers are so friendly! I just love the decorations here and especially down in the covered patio the vibe is great. I can’t wait for many more visits here!

This is a great find! The food is delicious, definitely! Authentic, tasty, great music, friendly service, accommodating, varied areas, colorful, a little piece of Colombia ❤️ Great presentation, clean and colorful bathroom with many “Colombianadas” Colombian colloquialisms 😊 The opportunities: Friday night dinner: we had to move because of the rain, we were sitting on the terrace, the area that we moved to right around the corner and the mosquitos in that corner were relentless!!! It definitely made our daughter very uncomfortable and we had to end our dinner early, so bummer, the restaurant meed to treat the terrace and the plants right outside the terrace for unwelcome pesky guests. Saturday lunch: service was slooooooowwwwwww After serving the food it took a long yime to have someone come around to check in on us.

Wanted to try a new restaurant so we went to this restaurant. The ambiance , the service were very good and the bathrooms were clean. We tried some pastries, but they were stale, not a good start. We also tried the beef empanadas and arepas. I’m not sure what flour they used for the empanadas, but they tasted different. The aji was also different and the arepas were fried. This must be a trend. For our main dish we ordered the Colombian staple dish bandeja paisa, and muchacho relleno. The food was ok at the best. We normally would have ended with didn’t coffee and desert, but not this time.

First time having Colombian food and it was stupendous! All the flavors were new to me and we’ll return again soon for another meal. Too bad I had eaten a few hours earlier and couldn’t finish what was ordered so we took it home to enjoy later. The nachos were simply amazing and the largest portion we ever had at a restaurant. The shrimp tacos were great as were the other items we ordered. The owner came over to introduce himself and also told us about his new place in Bport. Very nice guy and we’ll be back again.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this Colombian gem in Bridgeport, CT, and it was an absolute delight! The atmosphere felt like a lively party at home, creating a warm and welcoming ambiance. The food was outstanding, especially the Casuela which was expertly prepared in the kitchen. The flavors were authentic and truly captured the essence of Colombian cuisine. What really stood out to me was the excellent customer service. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure that our dining experience was top-notch from start to finish. Overall, I would rate this restaurant 5 out of 5 stars. If you’re craving delicious Colombian food served with a smile, look no further!

Yelp
"Colombia's happiness, flavor, and heartiness in Connecticut"; More specifically on Fairfield Ave in Bridgeport, CT! The rich culture, vibrant colors and rhythmic music made Sunday dinner more than a meal, but an experience! From the coffee to the traditional bandeja paisa everything was amazing! The portions are great to share or take some some home if you're leaving room for dessert. You have to try a little bit of everything! If you love Columbian food then you definitely want to visit here!

Yelp
I really wanted to give a better review but unfortunately several things were not right with my meal. I ordered the parrillada which was a dish with various meats. The chicken was overcooked and very dry, the steak was cooked at a well done temperature and the tostones were as hard as rocks. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and the service was good, I wish the food would have been less over done.

Yelp
Food was a 10/10. We enjoyed the pechuga a la plancha with white rice, tostones and side of salad. Plus a side of arepas with a special sauce. They recently updated the drink menu/bartender and it was absolutely the best change ever. The passion fruit mojito was delicious. The service was fantastic. Will be returning soon!

Yelp
The restaurant is so cute and the staff was super friendly! I just wish I liked the food more. The empanadas were 10/10! Would highly recommend those! We ordered wings with house sauce which were tasty. Then we ordered the Parchados Picada. The portion was huge for $35, meant to be shared by 2 but can definitely feed 3-4. The steak that was in that dish I could eat all day. Everything else I wish had a bit more flavor. Might come back to try other stuff off the menu.

Yelp
Now this is My favorite place in Black Rock!! The place is so cute, rich in their culture. Food was excellent! I had arroz chaufa and it was A+++. My boyfriend and I had a great time!

Yelp
the only thing was good about the place was the drinks. The service and food was horrible. The environment was even clean. I sure will not be returning.

Yelp
Mediocre food, we ordered the "Bandeja Paisa" we sat for 15 minutes before anyone came over, we placed the order and they first brought out the food which was cold, we had to ask three times for our drinks which came 10 minutes later and when we asked for plates to share they bought out salad plates instead of dinner plates. Our food was cold and waiter disappeared on us, the meat was tasteless and it was so thin that you could see right through it. We decided not to eat the meat nor the "chorizo" and we told the waiter the meat was tasteless and cold and he didn't catch on and charged us for bad meat and a 'chorizo" that we didn't eat. The kids behind the bar were very disorganized; it's very sad to see this nicely decorated restaurant with poor service and mediocre food.

Yelp
Food here is good.Service was okay but perhaps a bit slow.Ambiance here was lively but the crowds are loud and there is loud music. It was crowded but seating is plentiful if not kind of cramped and uncomfortable. However it had an Interesting decor and food so I think we will return.

Yelp
First time here but certainly not the last. Empenadas were amazing! While not huge the margaritas were perfect and the pork belly was yummy. The owner Eddie is very friendly and made a point to check in to see how we liked our meal. Cute place and a nice addition for a fun, casual place in Black Rock.

Yelp

Yelp
Visited this place for 1st time since it changed over from Taco Loco. Pork and chicken meat was very tough and gamey. Not edible. Waiter was very pleasant but not very knowledgeable about the dishes. Margarita was very tiny. Had to get up to ask for plates for appetizer and utensils for dessert. I called over the female hostess (greeter) but she ignored me. Extremely overpriced for bad quality. The only good thing was it did have a nice atmosphere with some mostly friendly staff wearing Latin costumes as uniforms and Spanish music was at the perfect sound level. Those couple of good things let's me give this place 2 star instead of 1. I was going to ask for my bad 2 meals to be comped but I just payed and left.
