PARDON Coffee

Lovely small cafe bar. Only had latte. Excellent. Specially cosy on a cold rainy Melbourne day. Only 5 inside tables and a few outdoor benches. Appears to do a range of cakes and sandwiches. 3 stars only because we had coffee and cannot review food.

I mean the coffee was really good - and I’m a bit of a coffee snob. However… the sandwich was a little sad. This is the photo on DoorDash vs irl. Lettuce sandwich on white bread. I mean it wasn’t a bad lettuce sandwich? I guess.

I couldn’t recommend this spot anymore if I possibly tried - I visit this cafe near enough every single day as I can’t stop coming back for my iced coffee with ice cream!! They do such a good coffee, wouldn’t be able to handle the mornings without one (with rain or heat, doesn’t matter - they’re so good)!! The staff are all absolutely wonderful, so lovely and friendly, couldn’t be any more helpful if they tried - they take the time to get to know you as a customer and always have a friendly smile as soon as the doors open, if you want to find your next best coffee spot with even yummier hot and cold food (the BEST brownies I’ve ever tasted, and I’ve tasted a LOT of brownies in my time)… I will miss this place a lot when I leave, couldn’t recommend them any more the service is outstanding and the food and drinks are unmatched. Very small coffee shop with a few seats. Coffee was good. Got a large flat white and a cookie and the staff was very polite and nice to chat with. I can see going by there and getting a coffee on the way to work or something, but the limited seats make me think I wouldn't go there with friends looking for a place to sit and order a coffee. Fortunately I was just looking for a coffee while passing by and then sat at the square less than a minute away, to finish it.

Cute cafe with Japanese aesthetics serving regular cafe goodies. Limited seating indoors and outdoors. One of the only local cafes open on public holidays. 🥯 Decent food. I enjoy coming here for bagels because you won’t find any bagel places within walking distance. Pastries are nice but a gamble (may have been sitting in the cabinet a while). ☕️ Coffee is decent but sometimes a bit too luke warm for my liking. 💲 Price is standard. You can view their menu on their website. Recently purchased their smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel for $12. Basic ingredients with a generous serving. 🍦 Service is always friendly.

They were absolutely run off their feet when we were there early on a Saturday but the vibe was great and the coffee and bagels absolutely delicious! If you can't get a seat at least get a takeaway--there were lots of wonderfully delicious treats to eat.

visited Prahran again but to try out Pardon this time! I had this for my brunch today and it was yum🫶🏻 thanks Erica for always being the best girl ;)

Went out for coffee but only had tiramisu and strawberry latte. Both were great and reasonably priced. I’d definitely visit again for coffee and other desserts if I’m in the area, as they have a wide variety of options that I’m eager to try.
