Orlando’s Best New Restaurants | Eater Miami

"The team behind Bosphorous reinvented the most prominent restaurant space in Maitland, but instead of Turkish fare, the cuisine here is Greek staples done up with flair. Yes, flames rise from skillets of saganaki, but other dishes like flaky tiropitakia, grilled octopus, and cast-iron moussaka forego the flash in favor of flavor." - Faiyaz Kara

Yum. Dinner at Parea Greek Taverna in Maitland. The food was Delicious! The service was excellent. Anastasia was awesome and the atmosphere was comfortable. We had two types of Hummus, Flaming Saganaki, a Greek Country Salad to start. Then came the Shrimp Mykonos - marinated Shrimp sauteed with some Pankos for Crispiness (Exceptional). And Grilled Lamb Chops that were well-seasoned and cooked perfectly. We will be back again soon.

We were a group of three people and had dinner at Parea yesterday. First of all, the ambiance was welcoming and cozy. Abigale was super nice, and she helped us decide what to order and checked on us several times. The food was good, too. We ordered the Mezze plate, grilled octopus and Soanakopita(spinach feta baked in phyllo dough). Spinakopita was really good and the octopus was great. We found the Mezze dips were a bit runny and a little bit salty. For entree, we shared lamb chops, moussaka and the prawns with orzo in tomato sauce. All of them were delicious, especially the prawns with orzo. For dessert, we shared loukoumades. Highly recommend.

This was our 1st time going here. When visiting a new city is kind of scary to try to find places to eat, cause you don't know the areas and it becomes a hit or miss situation. But this place is OUTSTANDING. We arrived "late" you would say, we got there at 8pm and the kitchen was only open until 9 pm (which I find too early, but I dont know if it was because it was a Tuesday). Our server was wonderful, great service and suggestions. He kept it real about the kitchen closing but it didnt feel too pushy. A bit pricey but is worth it. Food was VERY good. And the place itself looks very good. Im giving a 4 stars in Atmosphere just because of the terrible Xmas decorations. Protip: order the Hummus Trip to share and include extra orders of pita bread.

I drove 1.25 hours to Maitland to spend the day and to try this restaurant- good Greek food is hard to find in Florida really. Parking was a little tight but outside a parking garage so easy access. Upon entering the restaurant I was greeted immediately, seated and was offered to order drinks right away. I found out this is a family owned restaurant, and the staff was so patient, explained all the dishes, and was overall so professional. Ambiance is really nice here. The Mediterranean-inspired design has cozy island vibes. The Greek coastal aesthetic is clean, modern, and so welcoming. Such a relaxing atmosphere. I ordered the Tzatziki sauce which came with pita triangles- it was REALLY good. The sauce was made perfect, was delicious with a cool cucumber hint and creamy, and just delicious paired with the perfectly toasted pita bread. There was enough left to save it for my main entree. I ordered their Horiatiki Salad - aka their Greek salad - with a Souvlaki Chicken skewer. The salad was relatively small with a huge triangle of feta, which I don't typically like that much feta. It seemed out of proportion until I started eating it and realized what a gem the feta is there- it is mild, creamy and seasoned with oregano to perfection, so not even a tiny bit overpowering. It matched the salad which was perfectly seasoned so so well. I couldn't believe I ate every bite of the salad and especially the feta- the first time ever! It was delicious. The souvlaki chicken skewer was also cooked to perfection , had wonderful flavor, and the chicken was moist. It was really wonderful plain or dipped in my Tzatziki sauce! This was the perfect serving size, I was too full for dessert but I ordered Baklava to go. I did have a bite of it, I don't think it's the best I've had but it tasted authentic for a 1 bite tryout! Staff checked on me frequently, as did the manager. Service was really outstanding. While this was a rather pricey meal ($50-$60 pp), and I rarely give 5 stars to a restaurant - this Greek food was well worth it, the experience and the drive. It's a vibe- and the food is worth repeating. Look forward to going again if I'm in the area.

Google
We had a fantastic time at Parea Greek Taverna! We sat on the terrace and shared a variety of cocktails and dishes. Our host, Jason, was wonderful; he was not only very professional but also very friendly. The food was delicious, the portions were appropriate, and the cocktails were enjoyable.

Google
I have been CRAVING Parea since I dined there last week. The meal was the BEST I have had in a long time. The shrimp Mykonos is all I have been talking about to anyone who will listen. Our server went above and beyond and was absolutely amazing, the atmosphere was FANTASTIC, and everything from drinks to dessert was fresh, made perfectly, and packed with flavor. I can't wait to go back!

Google
Atmosphere and restaurant are very appealing The servers and the staff are very friendly the appetizers & The main entrée were delicious. As for desserts, you can’t come to a Greek restaurant and not try the baklava. This is my only gripe the the baklava had good taste, but was extremely dry. Those of you who’ve eaten baklava before know that there’s like a syrupy buttery texture to it unfortunately this one was dry. You will not go hungry at this restaurant. There was plenty of food enough for take home.. we will definitely come back and visit and try other things on the menu. I would give this a 9 out of 10.

Google
This is such an amazing restaurant with great food and atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and kind. They make you feel at home. My husband arranged a surprise birthday party for me and it was a great experience! We appreciate everyone including the owner who was taking care of us so well.

Yelp
Parea is a my new favorite Maitland dinning spot! The atmosphere is aesthetic, comfortable, welcoming, and the staff is so friendly my party and I felt as if we were part of the family! The food is fresh, flavorful, and nicely prepared. Everything from the classic dips to the grilled meats tasted authentic and delicious! It's a great spot for a casual dinner or a relaxed night out with friends. I'll definitely be returning and recommending it to others! P.S. check out the Happy Hour!

Yelp
Maitland has an incredible Greek restaurant with a full bar, comfortable seating, open space and authentic family pictures on the walls. They have fantastic food and ambiance. Flaming cheese - table side? Yes please! The menu is authentic and they even have family style options. Opa!!! And to top it off - the owners could Not be nicer! You have to take your crew there!

Dominic S.

Yelp
I've been coming here quite often since they have opened! And every single time it has been very consistent and delicious. I really enjoy the fried cheese and absolutely love every single one of the humus and tzatziki is incredible as an appetizer or a meal. The service is always so kind and caring. The ambiance is always very clean and feeling like a Mediterranean restaurant. Definitely worth a try!

Yelp
Had the most wonderful experience at Parea. It's a newer restaurant where the outpost used to be and I love hoe they've redone the interior to be so much more inviting and a classy Greek twist. The food was EXCEPTIONAL. I got the branzino which came with a lemon linguine and we also got the Greek chicken which was fantastic and packed full of garlic and flavor along with potatoes that just melted in your mouth. The service was also phenomenal and although elevated I feel the pricing was fair. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Owner argued with me after my pregnant family member was served alcohol after ordering a non alcoholic drink because the alcoholic version and nonalcoholic version had the same name. The server did not ask to clarify and did not ask for an ID, so obviously no one knew until it was already too late. We told the server that maybe the name should be changed. She mentioned this to management. When no one came out to apologize, I sought to make the recommendation to them that they should better distinguish the two drinks and give them different names so that the same mistake doesn't happen to other people with health limitations in the future. Many restaurants are adopting this approach to different their nonalcoholic and alcoholic menu so I didn't think much of my comment. Somehow, the owner, Tom Kopatsis became EXTREMELY defensive and argumentative at this suggestion. He began by saying that it was not the restaurant's responsibility to ensure they were getting alcoholic vs nonalcoholic orders correct (uhm?) He then went as far to say that the mistake was actually OUR fault. (When no other alcohol was previously ordered at this side of the table?) I was genuinely seeking to prevent the same accident in the future and to help the business avoid any lawsuits or community accidents. I was extremely disturbed that my attempt to helpful was met with being berated by the owner. Everyone involved thought that it was nonalcoholic ****

Yelp
Stopped in for magical dining. Although if there are 4 or more of you they do a family style year round that is the same $40 price so don't sleep on that! The beetroot hummus was colorful and flavorful. I actually really enjoyed it because it was different than any hummus I've had before! The lamb skewers were great, the fries would have been better as rice or orzo but they were ok. I loved my rice pudding dessert. The topping of nuts and honey really helped add to the flavor! The manager was around, the server was attentive I will for sure go back!

Yelp
Love Parea! Great location in Maitland, and excellent service every time! It is so pretty, clean and new inside. I love the openness and how the decor matches the cuisine and overall vibe. The food is very good too! Nice, delicious variety with cocktails as well. Last time I went we got 3 humuses to try, the classic, roasted red pepper and beet root. All three were tasty! The whole Bronzino and linguine is a favorite. I also really enjoyed the shrimp Mykonos. The Moussaka is noted as a favorite, but it's not mine. If you're going Greek, you have to get the baklava, very good! We will be sure to come back.

Yelp
From the same owner of the Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine mini-chain comes Parea Greek Taverna. After dining numerous times at Bosphorous and in this instance Parea, not only do both restaurants share a common Mediterranean heritage but they also both provide guests a superior culinary and service experience. Upon entering the establishment you feel as if you've been invited to someone's personal home. The employees and management certainly treated us like family and continuously made sure everything was to our satisfaction. We started off with Hummus Trio which was comprised of Beetroot, Red Pepper, and Regular Hummus with a never-ending supply of warm freshly-made Pita Points for dipping...YES! This was followed by the Octopus grilled over an open flame...DOUBLE YES! You could really come out contented by ordering just these two openers but, the menu is filled with so many standout items. I can't say no to a Lamb Shank... and Parea's offering was slowly braised and served with Orzo. My guest decided on the Branzino, grilled and served over Linguine Again, both dishes were incredibly delicious and cooked perfectly. As to dessert, I opted for something I've never ordered before which were the Greek Donuts known as Loukomades. Unfortunately, these were overcooked and dry...but as I indicated previously, being we were family, the manager readily took the item off our bill and instead we selected the Baklava. The Baklava had a rich buttery flavor and the optimum sweetness balance. FOR THE WIN! I look forward to returning soon...in the meantime...OPA!

Yelp
Great atmosphere at Parea! We started with the Meze collection. A sample of all six app items. All very good. The spicy feta is full flavored and tad bit salty. We then enjoyed the octopus and crispy zucchini. Both very good. Also shared the beet + feta salad with a chicken and lamb skewers. To finish, we enjoyed the baklava and the rice pudding. Our server was attentive and friendly. Definitely worth visiting for an enjoyable evening. Enjoy the photos below.

Yelp
Parea I understand is the latest from the Bosphorus family, and it's definitely the standout in my view. The experience feels upscale without being out of reach for most people and the service is fantastic with even the managers connecting with guests. The menu meets the elevated vibes presented, and while cost may be on the higher side it does come off as reasonable. My visit was to catch up with a friend so we were just sharing apps and drinks. We decided to go the "Meze" collection and from a cost and taste perspective I highly recommend this for anyone looking to try different dips. You get a nicely portion sampling of 6 pre-selected items. I wish it came with more pita as you will find yourself ordering more to be able to enjoy everything but the pricing for pita I felt was reasonable ($2 for 12 pieces). We also enjoyed white anchovies, my first time with this type of appetizer. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and seeing the different orders coming out of the kitchen (including tableside flamed cheese - Sagsnaki) and I would definitely be curious to return to try other items. If you're seeking well-crafted Greek menu in a lovely environment, Parea is definitely with a visit.

Yelp
Parea has definitely become one of my favorite spots. So happy they're in the neighborhood. Best happy hour around with the best bartender... looking at you, Jason! The food is outstanding. So fresh and delicious. The space is beautiful... open and clean. Great place for a quick happy hour, a celebration dinner or a meet up with friends. We even host our book club there now! Outstanding staff all around.

Yelp
Stopped by for the first time after seeing their name and menu on the Magical Dining list. Walking in the restaurant smells very clean and the space is pretty open inside too which I was nice. We were greeted immediately and seated right away. I opted for the spanakopita which was good, lamb souvlaki which was a generous serving, and for dessert tried the portokalopita or orange cake. I deviated from my usual baklava to try the orange cake and while the first bite surprised me by the fresh orange taste, I found myself still thinking about baklava. Our server was very kind and the restaurant was able to accommodate an allergy at the table. A lot of places pre-marinate items but we were happy to find out it wouldn't be a problem here and he was able to order pretty much whatever he wanted. This was a great meal and I can see us stopping by again. Gotta try their baklava after all!

Yelp
We really enjoyed our first experience at Parea! The restaurant itself is stunning and I am obsessed with the cut-out bar shelving and design. When you walk in, you immediately feel like you've been transported to the Mediterranean. We didn't have a reservation, so we were seated at a high top booth in the bar area. Our server was very knowledgeable and told us about their happy hour specials since it was still HH (4-6pm daily). Omg they have INCREDIBLE happy hour deals! All of their cocktails are half off and they actually have some really great signature drinks on their menu -- one of them being a dirty gin martini with feta stuffed olives... for $5.50 on happy hour. Um yes please! I had 2 martinis before happy hour ended and they were fantastic. Now on to the food. My husband and I shared a couple appetizers, including the grilled octopus and saganaki (Greek cheese flamed tableside -- OPA!) Both were delicious. The octopus was tender & cooked perfectly. For our main dishes, my husband got the cast iron moussaka (lamb and beef, eggplant, & béchamel baked like a casserole in a skillet) and I got the shrimp Mykonos (butterflied shrimp, garlic, and lemon with orzo). Wow, those shrimp! They were big with a light, crispy char and had an amazing flavor. I really enjoyed my dish and I'd definitely get it again. We ended up taking our dessert to-go, but we just had to try the portokalopita (phyllo orange cake) which hit the spot later on. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised by Parea and look forward to returning soon -- especially for happy hour!

Yelp
Absolutely delicious dinner and great service!! More people need to be enjoying lunch or dinner here because if you aren't you are for sure missing out!! We started with the grilled octopus, which was cooked to perfection! I missed the picture, but a great size for the $16 price tag! We will definitely be eating that staple every visit!! The lamb shank was tender and huge and the branzino had a crispy outside and cooked so soft and perfect! Even the pasta side dish had a great sauce and flavor!! Highly recommend for any happy hour, date night or group outing as they have a lot of large tables to accommodate!!

Yelp
My husband and I went to Parea on a Sunday night at 6:30p and it was pretty busy! We made a reservation, so fortunately there was a table available for us. The venue is a large space that is beautifully designed -- takes me back to being in Greece! The staff were very warm and welcoming. Our server, Anastasia was attentive, offered great suggestions and was really friendly while being professional. We ordered appetizers that came out pretty quickly. The saganaki is flambed right by your table and enhances the authentic meditation ambiance. The food was delicious and the wine selection was small but only filled with fabulous wines. Dessert were good as well. Although I Ubered, there seemed yo be ample parking for anyone driving there. Will definitely recommend!

Yelp
Awesome Mediterranean food, they have the Pulpo that is out of this world. Everything is so good, we love taking people here when we are visiting.

Yelp
Ever since Maitland Center built its retail space at the corner of Horatio and 17-92, I felt that an upscale, Greek restaurant would fit nicely in the building's design, and we also didn't really have any upscale Greek restaurants in the Maitland/Winter Park areas. When we heard the news that the team behind Bosphorus was planning a Greek concept for the space, we began counting down the days. We love Bosphorus! Parea Greek Taverna soft opened the week we visited, offering the vast majority of its new menu. Our group of four was warmly greeted as we admired the interior decor and Greek music. It felt like we'd left Orlando and stepped into the tavernas of Mykonos and Athens. We've been to Greece four times over the past few years, admiring their cuisine, culture, architecture, and the Cycladic design we love so much. The space does a great job of capturing the warm, family feeling while incorporating various familiar elements of Greek decor and theming. Jessi was our server, who was very attentive and helpful throughout our whole experience, and spoke Greek with us along our journey which we loved. We ordered various cocktails that we enjoyed (Garden, Karpouzi, Not Today Hades, and the Greek Sangria), along with the tzatziki and tirokafteri dips with warm pita bread. The tirokafteri, a spicy feta dip, was the big hit for everyone at the table. Don't worry, it's a mild spice...not super hot. They didn't have the skordalia dip this time (a delicious garlic dip made with small bits of potatoes), but might bring it back in the future. For salad we had to try the classic Horiatiki (traditional Greek village salad), and the calamari. Both were delicious. The horiatiki was done so well and had a perfect vinaigrette on it. I hope this doesn't change at all, because it was quite literally what we know and love about Greece! For our main course, we ordered the Chicken Souvlaki, the Lamb Shank, the Cast Iron Moussaka, and the Chicken Tata. Everything was really great, and generous portions. The Chicken Tata was similar to a chicken schnitzel and had a side of pasta. (Here's a little secret for you since you've read this far: scoop a little bit of the tirokafteri dip onto the pasta to give it a kick. It's amazing!) We ended our meal with some Mastiha (a sweet digestif that's much better tasting than Ouzo; you must try it if you haven't), and the Portokalopita (an orange cake) that were both great. There are still so many menu items we want to try like Phyllis' Potatoes, Pastitsio, Greek Tea, Saganaki, Spanakopita, Beefteki, Tiropitakia, and more. It's so exciting to see authentic Greek brands like Alpha, Mythos (the beers of Greece), Skinos and more. The beauty and hospitality of Greece has arrived to Maitland, and we're so happy! We'll be back very soon. I can't wait to see lunch options in the near future. I'm praying for fries inside gyros, galaktobouriko, and maybe some Cretan options.

Yelp
Great food and great service. We especially liked the spicy feta, tzatziki, and the Greek Fries. While a little loud, the ambiance is nice and tries to be a modern Greek tavern.

Yelp
Magical dinning deal was fantastic. Food quality was outstanding..I can recommend the lamb shank gets 10 stars.. service was good. It took 1.5 hours to get in and out and they were busy.

Yelp
Dinner last night was phenomenal. Sat at the bar with Jason and Mason who provided top notch service. Super knowledgeable and accommodating throughout our entire experience. We had dolmades, whole branzino and lamb chops. Everything was on point delicious. If I had to split a hair, I will admit that I would have liked to have one of those lemon wedge screens that catch the seeds so they don't end up in your plate, but I can let it slide :) Best part is their stellar happy hour. Almost everything on the drink menu is half off! Hard to find a happy hour that extensive these days. Also the interior is gorgeous. We will be back and very soon.

Yelp
food was wonderful Greek food . Abagail served us with professional and caring attention. we tried the magical dining menu and thoroughly enjoyed our choices. we were early dining and enjoyed being able to chat easily. I do wonder how noisy it can be when full of diners.

I went a few weeks ago and would definitely return. The server was great and let us visit, but was very helpful and there when we needed her.

Yelp
The restaurant ambiance and decor were really nice. Good vibes for sure. We were seated in a little bit of an awkward are next to a piece of furniture. The menu is pretty simple for Greek, and maybe a bit limited from other Mediterranean experiences. We ordered the meze collection app (mixed platter cold appetizer) and a MAROULOSALATA (romaine/feta/scallion salad) with a side chicken souvlaki (kabob.) The meze collection had a nice selection of humus, tzatziki and other Greek dips from the menu. The presentation was very nice with marching plates and platter. The app was served with a small plate of seasoned pita cut into triangle slices. The much needed follow up pita order cost $2 for a single seasoned pita cut into slices. The salad was essentially chopped Romain, feta crumbles and chopped scallion greens. Very simple not very big for $12. The souvlaki was lightly charred and the aroma added to the ambiance. The Greek salad, which was accidentally delivered to our table, had a wonderful appearance with a large chunk of feta cheese in the middle of the plate. From the meze collection, the beet hummus was probably my favorite, it was also the one that wasn't overly salty. The seasoning on the pita triangles included sea salt, which added to the salty experience of the other dips. The chicken kabob and salad were also very salty. Our entire dining experience can be described as a beautiful restaurant interior with overly salty food. We decided to cut the dinner short and save our taste buds from the salt. The experience was quite surprising given that Bosphorous is a sister restaurant to Parea. I've never had a salty experience at Bosphorous. The experience was nice enough as the staff was quite friendly. However due the the salt content, we likely won't return. Sadly, it's the only Mediterranean dining experience in the Orlando area that I've had such a salty experience.

Yelp
Service, food, atmosphere.... Everything was divine! They are on their soft opening but in no way can you tell. Our waitress, Noemi, was very helpful in guiding us to our amazing meals and was very friendly! Highly recommended!

Yelp
First time here but we will be regulars! Authentic menu. Everything was beautifully presented and delicious. Highly recommend starting with the collection sampler. We loved the grilled octopus and lamb chops. Fun cocktails. Our server, Abigail was the best. Attentive, knowledgeable, and professional. The owners stopped by frequently to check in. Love the feel of this gem.

Yelp
Wanted to try something new so my wife found this place and we decided to give it a shot. So glad we did because we were very impressed by the overall experience and taste of the food. We started off with Greek Sangrias (recommended by our waitress Naomi who was very helpful and on top of things) they were very good and worth ordering a second one each. For starters we ordered the Saganaki and Spanakopita. They came out pretty quickly and both were quite delicious (we frequent Santiago's Bodega and get the Saganaki this place was way better). For our entrees my wife ordered the Pastitsio (Greek version of lasagna) and I ordered the Shrimp Mykonos. The Pastitsio was ok definitely could've used more béchamel, cheese, and red sauce. The Shrimp Mykonos was very good and very flavorful. the shrimp were cooked perfect and the orzo that came with it was very tasty. The ambiance is very nice and spacious. Overall I would totally recommend this restaurant if you are in the area or craving delicious Greek food. We will definitely be back to try other dishes on the menu as well as some of the other delicious sounding cocktails. Great place for a family meal, date night, or friends gathering.

Yelp
Went with a large group and really felt the restaurant did a fantastic job. The food was well represented and found the flavors true to " mediterranean" . The lamb chops were charred and excellent.

Yelp
The food is really, really good! Our server was the best and and everything was explained when we questioned. We'll definitely go back!

Yelp
We had a wonderful dinner at Parea. The ambiance is lovely and not excessively loud. Our server Ashton was so kind and polite, she was fantastic making recommendations and was spot on with her description of the meals. The food was very good. We absolutely loved the mixed hummus appetizer with pita bread and veggie options for dipping. Their tomatoes are absolutely delicious, the taste reminds me of the ones back home in Europe. If you like Chicken Piscataway, then you have to try the Santorini Chicken! It was amazing! They have a wonderful selection of cocktails as well.
google avatar

Jessica L.

Yelp
I have driven by Parea plenty of times and finally had the chance to go in! Everything we had was great! The décor was beautiful and it was just like being in Greece! The music selection was also great! We started off with the Lemoni (fresh lemonade, Hangar One vodka, rosemary) cocktail! Soooo delicious!! Appetizers: Meze Collection - Tzaziki, White Anchovies, Hummus, Red Pepper Hummus, and Beetroot Hummus Mains: Lamb Shank with Orzo, Cast Iron Moussaka, Phyllis' Potatoes, and Horiataki Dessert: Baklava of course!! We shared all of this between 5 people and we were all full. Can't wait to go back!

Lyssa S.

Yelp
It was the best tzatziki I've ever had. Amazing menu and service. Plus they have a scratch kitchen and fun cocktails. A must try in the area.

Yelp
A place that truly gives the impression of being in a restaurant in Greece - calm, clean, and relaxing atmosphere. We didn't order a main dish, only meze, and they were all excellent. I especially recommend trying the Portokalopita as dessert. Our waiter was also very friendly and cheerful. A new and lovely option for celebrating your special occasions.

Charlotte K.

Yelp
Just had a fantastic meal at Parea Greek Taverna! The appetizer SPANAKOPITA was delicious, very flaky pastry filled with spinach and feta cheese. Also had FASOULAKIA which was tomato based vegetable stew. It was delightful! The waitress, Anastasia, was very helpful with her recommendations and service. The restaurant has a full bar and the Old Fashioned cocktail was perfect. Thanks for the remarkable evening.

Yelp
Very friendly and engaging staff. Enjoyed dining outside on the patio. Can't say enough how I love lamb shank. Fell off the bone, tender and delicious, as promised. The lunch potion is more than enough food. No regrets. And yes, ordered dessert! Bougatsa is flaky phyllo with semolina custard, with powdered sugar dusted atop freshly upon serving. Just pour the sugar in my open maw

Jeff F.

Yelp
A group of us recently visited Parea and were so impressed with the food, service and friendly environment. We started with a round of Karpouzi or Lemoni cocktails. Both exceptionally crafted and so refreshing. Then Mussels w/lemon butter sauce and grilled octopus and the Mezze Collection for appetizers ... all soo good. For main courses, just WOW!!! Best Shrimp Mykonos ever (we had it over pasta); perfect Lamp Chops; but the star was the Pork Ribeye, so tender, juicy and grilled to perfection. Two light eaters shared the grilled Branzino and thoroughly enjoyed it. For dessert we all shared the Baklava and the Portokalopita (hard to say the word but the best orange cake we all have ever had). The owner "Tom" even stopped by the table twice just to make sure we were well taken care of and that everything was perfect. Parea is a 10 out of 10 and hidden gem in Maitland, FL.

It was our first time going and it was Magical dining month. We were with others who ordered pita and a plate of mixed humus' for an appetizer. My husband ordered from the Magical Dining menu and had spanakopita, delicious , the lamb shanks, delicious and a huge portion and the baklava for desert. I had the shrimp over rice dish which i thoroughly enjoyed. the service was wonderful, very attentive. I didn't like the white wine sangria, so the manager replaced it with the red sangria. We will definitely go back

Yelp
I grew up in Greece and was excited to see this open. The restaurant is beautiful and has a mediterranean feel but the food is "ok" at best. I might try it again after a few weeks to see if it gets any better.

Yelp
We had an amazing dinner with great service from Jason, Ashley, Brittany, Mason and Luis. The Souvlaki beef and spinach was amazing! Try the chocolate mousse. Enjoyed the vibes!

Yelp
10/10 for everything at this restaurant. Rebecca our server was on top of it, and so nice. My boyfriend and I have rated this spot the best Greek food in Orlando hands down. We aren't ones to write reviews! but here we are! if you have the chance try it- you won't regret,

Yelp
So many things could be improved in this place. I gave it 2 s only because my drink was decent. From start to finish I was absolutely not impressed. Our server Anna was not helpful at and had no personality almost like she forced to be serving. My dish was one highlighted on the menu so I figured can't go wrong. My chicken was burnt and over cooked and it was as flat as a penny. The pasta that came with it was cold with no flavor at all to the red sauce. My husband had another highlighted dish that looks like it should be on the kids menu. Both our guests had chicken skewers which were so dried out they could barely pluck them off the stick. The noise was awful, the high ceilings made everything echo. Was really looking forward to a new place to go back to but won't be returning, very disappointing

Yelp
Great food and Service! Just stumbled upon this place we will certainly be back. The lamb was tender and the Greek potatoes were authentic.

Yelp
Happy hour specials are great and the cocktails were well balanced and tasty. Kudos for a good mocktail menu! The mezze platter was delicious (even the caviar which we didn't think we'd like). Dolmades were meat filled and lemony good. Souvlaki was flavorful with excellent homemade tzatziki

Yelp
The food at Parea Greek Restaurant was really good, fresh, and flavorful, but the service was very slow even though the restaurant wasn't busy. Hopefully, they can improve on that because everything else was enjoyable.

Yelp
Popped by after church. We wanted something light and delicious. Saw Parea and just went for it. Inside was very beautiful and quaint. Service was great. Abigail went over the menu and even suggested some meal options. We went along with her suggestion of the maroulosalata salad with lamb and it did not disappoint. I forgot to take a picture but trust it was surprisingly delicious!

Yelp
I was very excited about Parea opening in my community. Once I saw how they transformed the space I was enthralled! The menu is not large, but everything they create in the kitchen is outstanding! The staff is very attentive. Their happy hour is wonderful! I recommend Parea Greek Tavern 100%!

Yelp
My wife and I went here for date night. I ordered the double pork ribeye and from the first bite I couldn't get enough of it. I was actually sad when I finished. The service was great, shout out to Anna, who was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. The atmosphere made you feel like you were in Greece but also made us feel like we could have a relaxed conversation. The manager came by at the end and told us all about the new things they have planned. We are excited to come back. Side note: no picture because I didn't think to take one before I finished.
