First occasion: My wife used a gift card to order pastries online from this location, when we went to pick it up and to her surprise the attendant in the store saying that the pastry has not been paid for, now we were left with gift card that was charged to and no pastry to take home. She ended up paying again for the pastry.
2nd occasion: more recently before Thanksgiving i went there to pick up a cake that i ordered online, but also picked up few of their pastries from the shelf. we had to leave for the holidays and took pastries and cake with us, but when i opened the pastries box at home, to my surprise 2 croissants were missing from the box (they appeared on the receipt).
I went back there after Thanksgiving and discussed missing croissants with attendant, she called the manager, and the answer i got was : How can you not notice 2 croissants are missing?
My answer is they were placed in the cardboard box so nothing is visible unless you open the box. i guess my mistake was trusting people working there who knowingly or unknowingly did not place rest of my order in the box!!
My purchase total was around $70, and if they were decent people at least they will accommodate my complaint and reimburse me for the 2 croissants.
it seems to me the people working at this place think everyone is like themselves, dishonest and not-customer friendly.
WORD OF ADVICE TO OTHERS: ANY THING YOU BUY AT THIS LOCATION, OPEN THE BOX AND MAKE SURE ALL YOUR ITEMS ARE IN THERE, SINCE ONCE YOU LEAVE THE PREMISES NO CHANCE OF BEING REIMBURSED FOR ITEMS MISSING FROM YOUR BOX SINCE WE'RE ALL LIARS!!!
