Paris Baguette

I have been a fan of Paris Baguette for over a decade now, and was excited when they opened up a new location in South Philly (Washington Ave) several years ago. The quality of service has not diminished, the the pastries have remained fresh, and the cakes are always my children’s favorite. The blueberry cream cheese, pastries remain one of my favorites and the quality remains consistent at all locations.

Great place for a hot or cold coffee or tea. Very nice selection of pastries or breakfast type foods. They also warmed up our garlic sausage roll (no charge). Really enjoyed the place

Every pastry looks like a work of art and tastes even better—flaky, buttery, and just sweet enough. The coffee is always spot on, and the relaxed vibe makes it a great place to catch up or unwind. I find myself craving their treats all the time.

The Christmas cake costs $57 with tax. No fruit inside, taste is average, the chocolate is below average. We loved Paris Baguette, and visit so often, but this Christmas sale is very disappointing. They need to take it seriously.

Don't be fooled by the name! This is a Korean bakery so it's Asian style sweets inspired by classic European sweets so it's not a French bakery. That said, I prefer Asian sweets because it's not as sweet as Western sweets. I got several baked goods and a strawberry cake to go. I love everything! The cheese cake is especially good. I'd go for that kind of cheese cake over the ones at the cheesecake factory anytime. They have a variety of whole cakes too which are great for birthdays.

Overall a lovely pastry cafe, suitable for pastry dates, business breakfast meetings, etc. The layout is gorgeous, the staff is friendly and helpful. The sitting area is clean and spacious. Overall, a brilliant idea for a strip mall area.

I love their pastries there! They really bring out the best in Asian sweet. I bring my friends here all the time and they always find a few thing that they love and want to come back more for. The only down side is their cakes, it’s not as fruity sweet like most Asian cakes but that’s just a heads up.

French style pastries for dessert in a clean and airy environment. Good place for coffee and dessert after having some Vietnamese food. Everything was wrapped neatly, ready to be picked up in a self service manner. Good cakes, excellent coffee....

Very nice place for sweet treats. Only stopped in to pick up things to bring home but the place seemed clean and well organized. Everything I purchased was delicious and very fresh. Really enjoyed. Worth the stop in. Side note, I didn't get anything to drink but my friend got a peach tea and said she loved it.

I like here . Very nice customer service. I am usually going to Chinatown. Sometimes good people are front of service but sometimes ( manager?) yelling to other workers so I don't like that. But here is very friendly... and more open space .

Paris Baguette isn't just a bakery; it's a flavor carnival that turned my taste buds into thrill-seekers! My partner and I made a day of it and really ally indulged this time ! The mini fluffy cheesecakes are like edible clouds - I half expected to find a unicorn grazing on one. The macarons are like bites of pure mischief in your mouth ( and pretty affordable !) ; they were so good, I suspect they have a secret alliance with happiness... in my belly that is . Now, the seafood croquettes were the star of the day true savory treats, bursting with flavors that should come with a warning label for " too good to be eaten " But wait, the mozzarella's Capri baguette is the real MVP. It's not just bread; it's a bread superstar, perfect for the picnic we had even the ducks got to indulge on this amazing culinary treat . The only thing missing is a red carpet for this baguette sensation. Now let's talk service - it's so top-notch, I half-expected a red carpet entrance for us. We left the bakery feeling like we just had a culinary adventure, and didn't even need a passport to get in ! If you haven't visited Paris Baguette yet, you must ! Go Go Go !!!

This is awesome to hung out after pick up my son from school. I really like coffee and chocolate chips feuillette .Also my son like the drinks here too. I give Thumps up and fast cashier and polite , great services

Got a special of theirs, a salted caramel cold brew latte. I try to be open to variations in food and drink but even though it was refreshing on this hot probably 90 degree day, the coffee was so watered down it was hard to tell it was coffee at all. Staff is friendly. As they extended their hours (fairly) recently, maybe the staff is tired to stay here longer. I'd say they specialize in their bakery the best. This cold brew is something I'd be happy if I made or a friend made for me but from a place with an established name, if I see a local or another place that does similar nearby within the last minute convenient hours I am around, I am more likely to go with that option instead in the future:

If you want to get a slice of cake, you go to the counter and the staff will bring it from the kitchen.

The ambience is pretty great with hit music and nice wall designs. The workers seemed happy to see us and, took care of us quickly. Doughnut was dry and not seasoned enough tho.

The BEST place for the most beautiful cake.I love the quality of the art. I PICKED UP the most adorable cakes here with little cheerful decoration. I've been here for xmas cakes that make you wanna scream KAWAII !! かわいい( ‿ ) Also good to pick up breakfast for coworkers... koreas wonderful version French style croissant. They ace this!! I love Japanese manju and this place has it!

Stopped in quickly for a breakfast bite before I went to a nearby appointment. I was pleasantly surprised by the wall of treats and chose something simple (a croissant) to gauge the quality. I lived in Europe for years and miss the bread/pastry. The croissants at Paris Baguette were crispy and buttery. I ordered an iced caramel latte as well. After my appointment, I came back to get another croissant, but they were sold out, so I grabbed a bag of mini croissants to go and a sweet potato stick (not that great). If I am in the area again, I would go here again.

This cake shop always has what I need. As I walked in, I was greeted with the bright, airy and inviting interior. There is a cute blue mural to one wall and there's ample booth and table seating. These areas are great for studying and/or snacking. The pastries were illuminated in the cases, the flakey crusts glistening. They all looked delicious. In the back refrigerated area they had some of their infamous macaroons and my favorite cheesecake--not too sweet, just the right size to celebrate but not TOO much cheese for us lactose-intolerant folks. As I made my way to the front I saw what I came for: a cake to celebrate! I asked the girl in the front who was super sweet and willing to help. Although they have the flavor placards on the cake displays, I asked for a specific flavor profile--not too sweet, not too frilly, light and airy cake filled with fruit. She was able to give me recommendations, packed my cake and sealed it with cutlery and candles included! Overall, a sweet experience. These cakes are ALWAYS a crowd pleaser!

A nice place with plenty of seating, perfect for studying, meeting up with friends and family, or having a date while enjoying a cup of coffee and snacks. I've always been a fan of their coffee and pastries

Peach ice tea is good! Brownies are very rich. Blueberry chiffon, cappuccino cake, and mocha cake are favorites for celebrations. Garlic croissants could use a bit more garlic. Sad there's no more pudding.

One of the best cups of coffee I've ever had! The cafe was very clean and the staff were friendly. The pastry was delicious.

From University City and the Penn Campus in Philadelphia. I happened on this fabulous bakery and café when I was looking for a cake to order for a PhD reception. I could not believe my luck! The cakes are gorgeous and the sandwiches are as fresh as can be, and the bread - the bread is magnificent. A visit to the store at 3816 Chestnut Street in Philadelphia is a visit to heaven. The staff are courteous, kind and eager to help. I knew I had a giant hit on my hands when the students wanted to hold the cake for a photo with them!!! Thank you. I've ordered the Strawberry Soft Cream Cake, Mini Baguette Sandwiches, Mini Croissant Sandwiches. The Coffee Croissant Donut is a next level!!

Nice cakes. My friends and I bought a cake here for our small New Year's Eve gathering. It was unfortunate they don't really have theme cakes, so we just picked up the one that they had on display. We got this delicious mocha cake, and it was tasty. Staff seemed a little indifferent, but maybe they were tired or just don't really care.

I got married last Friday, and the custom bakery we worked with for our cake straight up forgot to make it! Imagine our disappointment and stress when we came to pick up our cake for our micro wedding and the other bakery had no idea what we were talking about! After picking our jaws up off the floor, we drove straight to Paris Baguette and picked up a Blueberry Chiffon cake (for just $40)! The cake was beautiful, elegant, and delicious! I love that it was not sugar-forward and was so fresh and light. It also looked great with our other desserts, and was no less special than or $160 custom cake would have been. Thank you Paris Baguette! You will always have a special place in our hearts, and we will definitely come back for pastries and birthday cakes in the future!

A really cute French pastry cafe with a wide variety of yummy treats and coffee, lattes, and chai! They also have seating for those that want to hang out and enjoy their food instead of taking it to go. They even have pretty to go boxes.

What is this amazing place?! I can't believe a wonderland of treats exists in the vicinity of my house. F and I ventured into this establishment based on the reviews of my fellow Yelpers. And we are so glad we now are in the know. When you first walk in to Paris Baguette, you are struck by the vast clean and bright space. Then you come upon the rows and rows of beautiful pastries, muffins, cakes and more. How do you choose? It ain't easy! F picked a creme pastry, I chose a mango goodie. We both ordered coffee. Everything was delicious! This place really is amazing. Not only does everything look beautiful, but it tastes great,too. This is definitely our go to sweet treat place, when we are in the neighborhood.

When you enter, you're immediately overwhelmed (in the best possible way) with the number of pastries to choose from! It's a serve-yourself style where you pick up a tray, use tongs and open the sliding doors to choose your sweets. You can fill up your tray with as much as you want and then bring it up to the cashier. At the register, you can order your beverage and baristas will make it for you there. When I went in I was surprised by how spacious it is. There are lots of tables and chairs to sit down at including some built in booths, which is unique for a cafe. I got a chocolate-filled croissant and a chai latte and I was very pleased! Everything was fresh and delicious. This is a great new spot and is very much needed on this side of town. I'm excited to make this a regular place!

Very cute. The chocolate cake was delicious. The macaroon on top was also delicious. Rich chocolate creaminess. They also have these cheesecake donuts that are really good. Not too sweet but very fluffy. They come pre wrapped and also in strawberry but I only tried the regular. Found it odd they have no baguettes though.

This place is unreal. Literally all the goodies fresh baked that you could imagine. Sweet, savory, hot, cold, and everything in between. My suggestion is to come early because they do run out of items quickly because of the number of people that run thru this place. Coffee was just ok... but who cares when you have food this good. 5/5 and would come here everyday and twice on weekends if I could!

Since Sunday I was craving a chocolate chocolate cupcake how lucky was I when my husband had to go to philly for a job. I asked him to call me on his way out of the city that I wanted sweets. He found this bakery and stopped in for me. He sent me a bunch of pictures and brought me home a strawberry cheesecake and a guanche créame cake piece. OMG how mad am I that's it's over an hour away from where I live. The cheesecake was mind blowing the look of the consistency looks like cake and cut like cake but when you eat it, it was creamy like cheese. The strawberries on top or super fresh. It was totally mind-boggling and so good, and omg the chocolate cake everything about it was delicious. It was moist, fluffy and fresh. The flavor for both are definitely worth going out of my way,Every time we or him are in Philly to make a stop to make sure we pick some up! The good thing is they have a huge selection of all different kinds of goodies. I am definitely looking forward to going myself in person and trying many other items. Based off the two items I've tried definitely two thumbs up will be going and trying again!

I am making my way down the menu. So far everything i have eaten has been wonderful. The Washington Ave location is clean and easy to get to and the Staff is very pleasant.

The Iced Milk Coffee is hands down my favorite coffee. I come to this location pretty often. I love how spacious it is and never had a problem with service.

Great location. Great selection. Plenty of comfortable seating for groups. Korean chain fits right in with the Vietnamese food paradise in Southern Philly. Friendly staff and yummy food. Welcome to town!

the green tea latte is a show stopper here... most of the pastries are of the same hue... dont be fooled their contents wildly vary. The gruyere proscuitto danish is the first one I tried that made me drop my pants ... and my jaw .... so delicious you actually think youre in paris not south philly. I probably should have stopped there BUT NOW alas I also bought the sweet potato twists. Very scrumptious. Up next: im going to the gym. Enjoy folks!

This place is a wonderland of fantastic French pastries both classic and with Asian influenced flavors. I can't say a lot more than this (truly this is enough) the choux (pastry dough) is fresh and flaky, the whipped cream frosting and pastry cream are light and airy, and the cake is soft, moist and flavorful. I had a number of pastries from the self serve case (seriously a whole wall of options available), cream puffs, and a slice of blueberry chiffon cake. IT WAS ALL WONDERFUL. Real deal stuff and extremely fresh, not what I was expecting from a chain.

Matcha lovers, this croissant is for you! After hearing a friend rave about it, I just had to check it out. It was delicious. The cold matcha cream filling inside pairs nicely with a warm drink. Not a fan of their coffee, so if they can get that right, I might just have to make a daily visit.

As soon as I saw the sign, I knew I had to come in. Me and my bf came around 7pm on a saturday. It wasn't busy, and there wasn't much pastries put out. I guess everyone bought them all lol I had the cheesecake and peach ice tea. Very delicious. I loved the drinks more. Friendly staffs, cleaned environment, restroom were cleaned. Interior were beautiful. I would definitely come again.

I've heard such good things about this place but unfortunately wasn't "wow'ed." Don't get me wrong, it was good, just not anything so unique that it justified the pricing to me. I tried their red bean bread, red bean doughnut and Nutella croissant all of which were good but pricey for the portion size. They are handling covid quite well and package each item individually, which I did appreciate!

I went this place (600 Washington Avenue, Philadelphia ) with my friend for the 2nd time, because we love the place, but today we get a bad service from one of the server, he is a man I forgot his name (start with S), he's so terrible and bad manner, why I said this is because when I was arrived and not even 1 minute sat down with my son, he come over to me and told me to not let my son jumping around on the chair, because my son shoes will be making the chair dirty and people wanna sit on there. I understand that, but he is just 2 years old and so active, even it's get dirty I will clean it and we were so exhausted because of the weather so hot outside and you really have to complain to your customers like that??? And the 2nd bad experiences was when we made the drinks order he put the wrong price on the order and after that he told us that we have to tell them in complete and specific order so they won't get wrong, once again I understand it and I already told them in clear that I want the ice green tea latte with less ice.... So he made a mistake and he blame to us...As a good server I think is inappropriate to say those words to the customer. To the management of Paris Banquette please manage your server to do better job...such a bad day and bad experiences with them, hopefully I won't see him anymore on the next visit

My first time here and will not be my last! Everything we tried was delicious (hash brown bun, pan chocolate, matcha, blueberry & cream pastries and a cheese bread. The store was so clean. Looking forward to coming back for more treat yo self moments :)

I can't believe so much time and effort would be spent on excellent baked goods in a nice environment when the staff are poorly trained. The counter girls are surly and rude. I will not be spending money there when there are so many other choices available nearby.

One of my favorite places to stop at while I'm in the city. Great for a small snack or a lunch. Everything I've ever had from here was so fresh and delicious. The croissants are beautifully baked to a golden crisp but are light and fluffy on the inside. The honey glaze on top just tops the entire pastry off. Absolutely mouthwatering! Definitely recommend to anyone feeling snacky or with a sweet tooth!

I had gone here multiple times and it seems to me they don't have much to offer? You have a small amount of pastry to choose from, not sure when is the perfect time? Sadly, no turning back.

This place has exquisite pastries at reasonable prices. It's a Korean chain but the style is mostly European. That said, they mix it up by offering some traditional Asian pastries and adding ingredients such as green tea to otherwise-French pastries. The presentation of the cakes is especially dazzling.

I can't get enough of their Hot Caramel Latte!!! Their cakes are amazing, pastries are delicious! Just wish they had more variety like the other Paris locations..

I came in today and saw that they had vegan blueberry muffins. They usually only have the chocolate chip ones out. I snagged a blueberry and had a green tea latte with it. The muffin was the cherry on top of my quiet rainy morning. As for the latte it had just the right amount of green tea and a good amount of sweetness.

I love Paris Baguette, Ive been to several locations in Philadelphia and the one near Washington which is the closet to where I live, I was able to go to their soft opening..twice. First time I visited I got the tiramisu cake. Upon tasting the cake , wasn't so bad I did enjoy the cake,but not exactly same tasting as the other locations. I get it soft opening. The second time I went , I got a strawberry cake. The cake was moist and sweet like all the other locations. During the soft openings, they gave out free coffee and tea. I got coffee twice because their coffee is really good. Honestly now I go to Paris to get my coffee instead of Starbucks. Coffee does not taste old or chalky. Inside was welcoming, clean, spacious. Lots of booths and tables. Service was five stars. All of the cashiers were very helpful. Overall good rating from me, I'll be back for their opening-opening.

Simply the best place i have ever had, but the pastry should be more various. The place is côl, neat and clean. The employees arefriendly and know how to treat their customers right Be back for every weekends.

I visited twice over Labor Day weekend during the soft opening. The new space is huge and beautiful. We got free coffee and my latte was excellent. Tried a few different pastries including the garlic croissants, regular croissants, and a mini hot-dog. All were delicious! I have already recommended it to a neighbor.

At our first visit, we were so excited by the delicious looking pastries and cakes and vowed to come back soon. At the second visit, however, we were very disappointed in the staff/service. When we brought our pastries to the counter, the woman there snapped at us that we should have brought them the tongs, not left them hanging by the trays. Sorry, there was no sign and we apologized for not knowing the rules. We paid for our goodies, giving the exact change, and were surprised no one said "thank you." My husband mentioned this and just got a surly face in reply. When he told the manager that the cashier was being rude, she did not even care! We heard them telling another customer that no, they will not put names on birthday cakes, in a very mean tone of voice. I have worked in customer service for many years and this is really unacceptable behavior. There are plenty of other good bakeries where the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Too bad, because I did like the croissants, but we will take our business elsewhere.
