Google
Cute bakery, but they need to be more attentive to their desserts. They were delicious and had a mix of flavors, they were some trays that were empty and the employees didn’t paid to much attention. Prices are likely the same as the competition. You get access to the bakery through the Asian market. Spacious parking lot.

Google
Paris Baguette in Zion Market is a gem! Their pastries and bread are always fresh, beautifully designed, and full of flavor. The cakes are light and creamy, with just the right amount of sweetness. Whether you’re grabbing a treat or a special dessert, this spot never disappoints!

Google
We have purchased many cakes and pastries from this location and all very tasty. We have purchased our birthday cakes for our son and ourselves multiple times here. So many fresh tasty treats there and beverages too! There is also a option to sit inside if you don't enjoy the main eating lobby. I hope that they finds a new home in the new Zion market as Zion is looking to move around May 2024 or so. I love the convenience of shopping at both places in one trip. We'll see I suppose. Till then...

Google
Coffee was gag worthy. It was sour, the cream was clumped up at the top and it took so long for it to come out. Worst coffee ive ever had. I am NOT exaggerating. 6 dollars out the window

Google
Have tried all their cakes and This Chocolate mouse cake is too sweet and texture is subpar like made make from Betty Crocker. I wish they would do a blind taste test

Google
Great Paris Baguette bakery inside Zion Market. Large selection of freshly made pastries and cakes. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great place to buy a birthday cake as well. Recommend!

Google
Cakes looked great and tasted good. Problem that we had was the plastic ball decorations are plastic. That’s just a lawsuit waiting to happen. Either make it edible or leave it out.

Google
I really wanted to like it. I've been to other Paris Baguette locations and this was not a great experience... There were no trays when I arrived. I had to go to the front. And there were no paper liners for the trays. I went to get napkins to cover the tray. It was not clean. There was a fly inside one of the display cabinets that just touched all the donuts. The pistachio mochinut had a very artifical sweet taste to it. But the Dubai mochinut was good. Overall, there is a lot of room for improvement. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day...

Yelp
If you don't already have a Too Good to Go account, I would really recommend checking them out. I hyper fixate and when I saw that Paris Baguette had a couple of bags up so I jumped on the opportunity. For around $7 I was able to pick up a little baggie of goodies, when I usually go I can spend so much money on 5 pastries so I was really stoked to get a pan chocolate, pan swiss, almond croissant, red bean donut and a chocolate croissant for just $7. I had the pan swiss this morning and it was delicious, so flaky and buttery and the perfect amount of sweetness. When I picked up my bag, it was pretty empty and the cashier was so fast, had me check my app and got it without any issues. I kid you not, it smelled so good just getting it. Definitely coming back because they have such great pastries!

Yelp
Went to Paris Baguette for the first time only to arrive at 9:30 am and find them out of everything. No baguettes, no croissants and half of the display cases empty. Asked a cashier what's going on, she said we didn't get out delivery today. So much for making the breads and pastries on site. She said people get upset when this happens. Duh! Won't be going back.

Yelp
I stopped at this location to charge my Tesla. They have quite a few Tesla chargers in the parking lot. The bakery is inside the Zion market. There was a limited amount of pastries when I came over because it was in the afternoon however they all look distinctly like Paris baguette. And I'm sure the quality is the same. Please come and create your own adventure .

Yelp
This is located right inside the new location for Zion market, just like the old one was. It is fairly large and there are even a few tables inside. There's a big window into the kitchen where you can watch them preparing the baked goods. This location can get very busy and it turns into absolute pandemonium. Mobile orders get mixed up and go by the wayside and the line can get really long. otherwise, the baked goods are of Paris baguettes high standards, and the drinks are good, I especially like their Matcha lattes, which are the best I found so far.
google avatar

Michelle M.

Yelp
Smaller than the other Paris baguette at the old Zion market. However, the pastries and cakes are still desserts. However, I feel like they had more choices at the old one. Service is fast and there are seats to enjoy your treats after shopping.

Yelp
Love the new Paris Baguette at the new Zion Market location in Kearny Mesa. It's literally down the street from me so I can't wait to stop in regularly again. Don't forget to download their app so you can order ahead and more importantly, earn rewards towards free stuff! You even get a free pastry during your initial sign up. The coffee here is great with my go-tos being the Iced Chocolate Hazelnut with Nutella, the Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew and the Mango Lemonade Refresher. I also love the various pastries (both sweet and savory) that you can pick out yourself and load up on your trays. The fruit pastries are always so fresh and I love the glaze on top of them. The frank (hot dog) pastry and the crab croquette are also good with me. From the refrigerated cakes, you can't miss the Mocha Cake...it is just the best. And the Chocolate Nutella Cake is a close second with the Strawberry Shortcake right behind. Great light cakes with tasty flavors!

Yelp
Paris Baguette is located inside Zion Market. There is a large sign outside to let you know they are here. This is a smaller store. There is no seating inside. The varieties of goods are great. The service from everyone is friendly and pleasant. They are so nice here! I got about 7 items. My favorite was their custard and chocolate tarts. Yum!

Yelp
Soft opening was today! You have to come and try this NEW Paris Baguette inside the NEW Zion marketplace. I'm a fan but even more so today as I saw all the variety of pastries and drinks that they employ. Of course some patience is needed but they have a full set up going on now. The service is great and the decor is beautiful. You have to come and try all the flavors and cakes. There is a clear window to see workers baking and you can trust that this place will be a great post grocery shopping spot. We will definitely be back and I am excited to see how things develop here. Hot tip go get the cake slices to try a variety of different cakes they offer. You won't regret coming here.

Yelp

Yelp
The deserts are 100% amazing. You cannot go wrong. The facailry, however, is run down and nothing looks like it's been tended for a long time. We had a fruit tart (possible the best I've ever had) and the strawberries and cream croissant. Both were perfection. Fresh, flakey, the fruit was bursting with flavor and they were not overly sweet. A night good pastry for sure. It's a server yourself affair and it is inside Zion Market and it is very overrun with business. Everyone was nice and everyone seemed to be enjoying things but soooo many people go through this place that it's a little run down looking. Clean and all, just run down. It's better than most other dessert places that are not as extraordinary as their name might suggest. Enjoy!

Yelp
Gross! One of the glass doors to the pastry case is broken so they are leaving it open! I saw flies buzzing around inside the case so I spoke to the cashier about temporarily putting plastic or paper there and she asked me to speak to the manager Nigel -who refused to cover it to maintain sanitation. He said "corporate doesn't want is to put anything there except the glass door". So he is doing NOTHING about the disgusting flies. EWWWWEWWWWWEEWWWW! What is wrong with this place! I won't be back until at least 2 days after I see intact glass doors in place. Flies are laying eggs and pooping on those pastries!!! What?!?!

Yelp
I bought a slice of chocolate ganache cake from the zion market paris baguette location, hoping this cake would be good. Unfortunately, I am very sad to say that the cream tasted really old and it was different from previous slices I had. Cake coating was dried. You can see from the difference in color. I believe this cake has been there for 1-2 weeks, displaying old cakes and selling them for $7 each. I was expecting a good quality, fresh cake but this was absolutely subpar. As a lover of paris baguette bakery, they need to STOP reusing or displacing OLD bakery food.

Yelp
Paris Baguette bakery cafe had a plethora of sweet treats with full on flavor like festive individually wrapped Halloween donuts!!

Yelp
After trying Paris Baguette, I'd rather go to 85. Their pastries just don't have quite the deliciousness that I'm used to. They look very pretty and they weren't bad by any means, but I'd prefer 85. I did get to try the cronut and I appreciated that it was fresh. They were regularly restocking the pastries to continually put out fresh product. I've had some of the cakes from here before including one covered in fruits. Again, very pretty, but nothing special in my opinion. They seem to have a large selection available even at mid day and it's easy to get in and out of here since it's in Zion Market.
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious cakes and pastries. I stopped here to get some individualized cake slices for my employees. They absolutely loved it.
google avatar

Maureen J.

Yelp
I usually like to check out the pastries here to see what they have or if there is anything new. Last time we came here, we bought a cute cake. I enjoy the mochi donuts. The place is usually clean and organized. I haven't had any issues with the customer service. The prices are decent and can get expensive.

Yelp
Came in here last night right before closing and the guys were super helpful. I wanted to redeem my birthday cake slice. Although they were completely out of the strawberry soft cream slices , I went for he chocolate chiffon slice. It was cream rich and delicious ! I grabbed a cup of coffee to go with it, since I would be on the road for a few hours and it was delicious ! This location was new to me but it was easy to find. It's part of a large plaza with many neat other eateries. There's plenty of parking inside this big lot and there's plenty of chairs to sit on .

Yelp
I love paris baguette. Some of the best cakes and breads. It's currently located in Zion Market but I'm not sure of they will moving with zion. I hope so! The workers are always really nice and are quick with drinks and cake orders. The space is nice and bright and there's a lot of seating
google avatar

Yelp
Located inside the Zion Market, this Paris Bakery location offers both sweet and savory pastries, breads, and scrumptious cakes. We love the baguettes, and I really like the savory pastries. Service is excellent.

Yelp
Stopped by here after getting some groceries from Zion. The fact that this bakery is located inside the grocery store is so dangerous for me lol. Anyways, I saw someone else mention that it can be pricey and I definitely agree. However I needed to treat myself today. I got the lemon cream, strawberry croissant and an almond one that I initially thought had a raspberry filling because that's what the signage said, but it might've been placed in the wrong spot. Regardless both pastries were really delicious! The lemon-strawberry croissant was the perfect amount of tart and sweet and the almond croissant was so flakey, however it could have had a little more of the almond cream or whatever filling. I did notice that the employees were very efficient and there was a man walking around the bakery making sure it was neat, clean, and stocked.

Yelp
This is probably the best red velvet cake I've ever had!! My coworkers surprised me for my birthday. Yumm yumm yumm
google avatar

Yelp
The pastries here are delicious! The new location is so cute and seems to have more/new options. It's impossible walk out without a box full of goodies. Love ending my grocery shopping with a stop here!
google avatar

Yelp
Pastries are placed behind sliding glass doors which keeps them fresh and sanitary. Food looks amazing and fresh!

Yelp
Amazing pastries. Delicious and fresh every morning! Highly recommend the croissants.

Yelp
The place is well organized and there is a great many selections of pastries available. Staff is always friendly!

Yelp
The perfect place for the delicious morsels of the baguette! With many options to choose from. I enjoyed samples of 6 different "Little Terribles" and I regret nothing. Everything was eaten at their sturdy tables that 6 adults can sit comfortably at. Smaller seating arrangements are available as well. It's money well spent!

Yelp
I think these are the most delicious cakes in San Diego. The price is super for such quality. I can no longer eat cakes from regular stores, where there are thick dry layers and almost no cream, it's embarrassing to give such a cake. Here, the cakes are tender and there is a lot of delicious cream, the choice of cakes is large. The cake always comes in beautiful packaging, with candles, a spatula-knife and matches, everything is very thought out and with soul. If you download the app, there are many promotions and discounts

Mike C.

Yelp
Service was good. Ambiance is okay. If you just focus on the bakery items you'll feel like you're in a cozy bakery. Otherwise it is somewhat dark, cold, and uninviting. Seating area is gloomy. It's in a huge Asian supermarket. The pastries in general are pretty good. Today I went to get a cake. Bought the strawberry and cream cake. Very disappointed. Hardly any cream between the somewhat dry cake. Other than the 3 sliced strawberries on top, there were bits of strawberry between the layers. I'd guess two strawberries in all within the layers. It's a strawberry cream cake, ADD MORE strawberries please!! And the cake itself was dry. For $50 I expect a better quality cake. Their pastries are decent, but the cakes the past few times have not been good. I DO NOT recommend buying their cakes. Too expensive for what you get.

Yelp
My grocery trip at Zion is not complete unless I stop by Paris Baguette afterwards! PB always has a small but solid selection of pastries and pretty cakes for special occasions. They also have different kinds of individual sliced cake, sandwiches, coffees, and salads. My favorite items include the fruit pastries and their chocolate croissants. They make amazing tiramisu cakes which I go for when I'm bringing cake to a celebration. Also, they are always quick to pack my box and the lines move fast. Although it is a small bakery, it's always been one of my favorites for sweets!

Yelp
I was here on my birthday. I online ordered 2 cakes and redeemed my free birthday drink for same day, ASAP pick-up. On my way there, I received a call and voicemail and checked it when I arrived. The manager left a message, saying they had run out of one of the cakes (the Bunny cake). He did offer to refund, but I really wanted this cake! I went in and asked if I could simply pick up the Bunny cake the next morning and he was easily able to arrange that. It worked out because the smaller Cappuccino Cake was for my boyfriend and myself only for that day, and the Bunny cake was for the next day anyway with my mom and sister. The cakes were so cute and delicious! My iced mocha was perfect and not too sweet. Espresso and Bunnies are two things that are "So Me." My mom and sister loved the Bunny cake so much that they shamelessly kept the leftovers. Didn't even bother to ask me, haha. "You still have another cake at home!" Ok, true. Cake orders come with a plastic slicer with a couple of matches along with the number of candles you need. My boyfriend and I come here whenever we are in the area. They serve everything from fresh sandwiches, a plethora of pastries, to cakes whole or by the slice. I appreciated so much that the manager contacted me right away with the inventory issue and that we were able to arrange a simple solution for it.

Yelp
We've been coming here for a decade and still love it. Lately in addition to the sweet rice donuts I've been getting the custard filled donuts, my new favorite custard filled donut anywhere. The pastry part is good, not too sweet, but the custard filling is creamy and rich, not too sweet and there's plenty of it. Thank you Paris Baguette, I would rather pay more for a lot of custard filling than a cheaper one with barely any filling. Thank you.
google avatar

Yelp
Pastries here are always high quality. They have a very expansive menu, including sandwiches. My mother loves the mochi desserts here. Very soft and chewy. I like the garlic butter mini rolls. It seems like they always have enough staff to keep the line moving and the pastries on display. Indoor seating available along the wall. Displays appears clean.

Yelp
This Paris Baguette is located in the food court area of Zion Supermarket. It's a little store, but there's a good variety of selections, and you're sure to find to something that catches your eye. In terms of the ambiance, the food court makes it really casual. You can find seating very easily after purchasing your goodies! For some background, I had a social event organized and decided to have pastries catered. I had originally planned to order from 85C, but because it was somewhat last minute, they were unable to fulfill my requests. Paris Baguette was able to accommodate this large order without issue, and for that, I'm very grateful. The offer great catering options that are easy, delicious, and elegant. We ordered a couple of boxes of pastries, and the variety of the assortment was perfect for our diverse group of attendees. The desserts were fairly small, but they were priced reasonably, and it was actually preferable this way because people got to try different pastries. I didn't get to taste all of the options, but the ones I did try were all yummy! Overall, I would certainly revisit Paris Baguette, whether it's for a catering event or just a post-grocery-shopping treat. Thank you, once again, to the Paris Baguette staff that were able to accommodate my last-minute catering order!

Yelp
Their cakes are all light and not overly sweet. Value for money is good. Family's fave is tiramisu cake. Even for my 50th bday

Yelp
I ordered a cake yesterday for my mom's birthday. Everything was ok ( she put the quote "Happy birthday mom" on the cake) until I asked her for candles and a knife. I asked her if I could get some candles and she said everything was in there. I trusted her and when I opened it, there were NO candles in the box! You guys should keep in mind that is a birthday cake when you accept the order already. This happened to me twice but I didn't want to say anything for the first time and chose to buy from you again. I hope you can pay attention to every single client and give them the best services that you can.

Yelp
I ordered a Matcha Frappe and it was the worst I ever had. It gave me stomach pain. I had other drinks at the other Paris Baguette (H Mart) never disappoint.

Yelp
Bug was inside of milk coffee. You need to check drink. No silver wear at the station.

Yelp
Favorite place to get decadent pastries! Great for breakfast or a sweet treat. Price is expensive but worth it if you get it once in a while. My absolute favorite is the strawberry crossaint. The cream inside is so rich and smooth and pairs so well with the strawberries. So good!! I also love their birthday cakes, which are not too sweet and just perfect. Sadly they don't offer the pudding anymore which I also loved.

Mark X.

Yelp
Good croissant. Service was ok. The server was the only one working there and looked very bored but still made us a nice breakfast sandwich. The crepe was not so good. Too sweet and little rubbery. Not many customers for some reason. Tables outside were dirty.

Yelp
I LOVE this place. It's located inside a grocery store and has its own entrance. Their parking lot is huge too. They have delicious cakes, breads, sweet and savory pastries etc. I think the cost is very reasonable for the quality. Most items, you grab yourself on a tray and they pack it for you in a box. They get busy but I never had to wait very long. Every time I've been there, the service has been friendly. It's a little small but they do have seating. You can walk out one door to the parking lot or the opposite direction and go into the grocery store. It's a pretty interesting grocery store so I highly recommend walking through and checking it out. I will be back!

Scott T.

Yelp
I go here two or three times a week and Alex normally waits on me. Spectacular service. Very attentive, very friendly and always helpful. Very difficult to get good service these days. Give Alex a raise.

Yelp
Oh my this place is awesome! Not your ordinary bakery desserts! You can not go wrong finding something you'll love here. They have a bunch of finger lickin macaroons, cakes, cheesecakes, cookies, tiramisu, cake bite, fruit croissants donuts, breads, and even sandwiches. They even offer catering. If you're looking for delicious desserts give this place a try! I think my favorite two was the strawberry Mochi donut and lemon croissant donuts.

Farnaz F.

Yelp
Paris Baguette is my favorite place and I like their cake . I ordered a cake online ," the star is born" which was supposed to be strawberry cream and layers of strawberry , Unfortunately, this cake barley had any strawberries inside the layers ! Very disappointed as I was very to try this cake. I like Paris Baguette, but very disappointed and will never buy cakes from here anymore.

Yelp
cute, fast, good service and food always, not any seating or place to stay tho it's just a grab and go!

Yelp
Every pastry we got was so good. We got the cronut that was perfectly crispy and doughy, filled with a light Bavarian custard and lemon cream that wasn't too sweet. The strawberry croissant and strawberry lemon cream croissant is a must if you ever see it available during your visit. We also got a 6 pack of the mini garlic croissants which was amazing! A little sweet, a little garlicky, and a little crispy. I could eat a whole bag in one sitting if I could. For hot items, we tried the crab croquette and ham & cheese pastry that we asked them to warm up and it was delicious. I love stopping by this place after grocery shopping inside Zion. Definitely give these items a go. You won't be disappointed. (No pictures available because I was too excited to eat them before snapping a photo - sorry! Haha)

Yelp
They really should really change their hours to close at 8:30p. The last few days we go in and it's either they're not serving coffee or all the pastries are put away (love their pastries and coffee) but again we get there 8:30 and something is put away they're are still 3-4 workers in there all in the front talking so they might as well clock out at 8:30.

Cecilia O.

Yelp
The cake was ok, it's light and fluffy but the taste is not as good as it's look. Very expensive and cake tasted bitter not sweet. I think the cake was old that's why it taste weird or bitter. There croissants were good and tasty. I like them specially with chocolate and nuts on topping.

Yelp
Decided to order some breads for brunch on this rainy morning. My husband and I picked a mix of some of our favorites as well as ones we haven't tried yet. We ended up ordering a total of 7 items: - cream cheese donut: plenty of cream cheese and the donut dough was slight chewy, almost like a malasada texture; will definitely order again - blueberry cream cheese pastry: flaky bread with an even amount of blueberry/cream cheese; have ordered previously - apple pie: upgraded McD's apple pie; have ordered previously - sugar mochi donut: just enough sugar coating the donut and nice chewy texture; would order again - chocolate croissant: flaky dough with a good amount of chocolate; would order again - feuillete au chocolat: crisp, flaky dough weaved with a nice layer of chocolate; will definitely order again - hash brown bread: hefty, savory bread with cheese, ham, and hash browns; would order again Overall, everything we ordered was a home run and we were pleasantly satisfied. All of the breads arrived in a nice, sturdy box and came in tact. We also like that the breads rotate, giving us new things to try each time. We'll continue to order from here as we've really enjoyed a lot of their breads so far.
