The 15 Best Restaurants in Mills 50

"This one-stop shop for baguettes, sandwiches, and pastries is notable for owner Hien Tran who possesses serious baking creds having graduated from Paris’s École de Boulangerie et de Pâtisserie and earning certificates of distinction at the École Gastronomique Bellouet Conseil pastry school. His wife, Doan Nguyen, ran a trio of banh mi shops in Vietnam and, together, the duo makes some mighty fine banh mis and sweet treats out of their sprawling Mills 50 bakery." - Faiyaz Kara

It was my first time here, and I think you need to know what you ordering because Vietnamese kitchen is unique! Since I was craving sweets I’m rating only based on that. And I love exploring cute places with baking goods. Atmosphere is lovely, the small Eiffel Tower adds charm. Stuff is attentive and friendly. (Also good looking 😊) Bubble tea is mid. I feel like it’s a little bit too sweet? At least that is how Taro one tastes. The Jelly taro cake not my cup of tea 😅 But it looks unusual, i wanted to experiment a bit👍 If you’re a jelly fan, it can work for you. There are various sweets, to try, better to see for yourself 😄 The prices seem a bit too high for some items, if you’re comparing to certain cafes within same niche. I’ve been to many places, so I compare it based on my own experience. And verdict is that it’s pricy for what I got 🤓 I feel like hot meals there are tasty, so I’m coming back for that. Overall, great first impression 😆

Google
First time trying a Vietnamese Banh Mi, and I was blown away....absolutely delicious! I had heard so much about this sandwich, and many people consider it one of the best in the world. Now, I can confidently say it lives up to the hype. The bread is perfectly crispy on the outside yet soft and airy inside, making every bite incredibly satisfying. The combination of fresh vegetables, flavorful meats, and the perfect balance of sauces creates an explosion of taste. The crunch of pickled carrots and cucumbers, the creaminess of the mayo, and the rich, savory protein all work together beautifully. Without a doubt, this sandwich has earned a spot in my top 5. If you haven’t tried a Banh Mi yet, Paris Banh Mi is the perfect place to start. Highly recommend!

Google
Banh Mi was good. Fresh vegetables and drinks was delicious, Not too sweet, which is good. Just a but pricey boba drinks over $6 dollars. Overall, satisfied with taste on food and drinks.

Google
Ordered delivery via Uber Eats. Delivery came very fast and food was excellent. I would not suggest the fried chicken, they were basically chicken nuggets - nothing special. On the other hand, the sandwiches were very good - super fresh.

Google
Food was excellent. We tried three of their sandwiches. Char siu Pork was my favorite. Get a few of them to try. Cheesesteak was very good too.

Google
I’ve been here several times, always my top-rated banh mi spot. The food are super good and staff are very friendly. Love this place!

Google
Loved the macarons & mochi ice cream! The cafe was clean and had lots of delicious desserts and Vietnamese snacks.

Google
I’ve been coming here for years for the vegetarian banh mi sandwich and it’s amazing! Fresh ingredients and the bread is always crisp on the outside and soft on the insides. Generous amount for $8!!

Yelp
This was my first time visiting Paris Banh Mi. I stopped by for one of their delicious bahn mis and milk teas to go. Both were delicious! Return visits are in order! Their selection of pasties also looked wonderful!

Yelp
I have not been here for a hot second and here it is got renovated inside and it is so much brighter and nicer! Cashier is friendly and welcoming. The decors are updated and furniture are nice too. I ordered Paris by night boba tea to go and then I cannot resist the temptation and ordered Hong Kong style bubble style waffle. They were both so good and I definitely have to come back for more!

Yelp
Walking in you get a clean and calm ambience. I'd say there's a sort of contained lo-fi vibe to this place. Feels like a nice place to to sit back, have a pastry, and read a good book or get some work done. There are plenty of drink options, from slushes to teas. Korean corn dogs and bath mi are plentiful on the menu so you won't find yourself running out of options! We weren't feeling too hungry, but my dad and I decided to get slushes. We were served quickly and efficiently. My dad got a passion fruit with aloe vera slush. He said it went very well with the topping choice and wasn't too sweet. He enjoyed it! I had the matcha slush with popping lychee. I appreciated that the matcha itself wasn't too sweet but still had a good flavor. I will note there's that slightly earthy bitterness found in traditional matcha, so if you prefer sweeter matcha this might not be for you. The popping lychee gave the slush a nice pinch of fresh sweetness to complement the earthy notes from the matcha. Definitely a good combination! Overall, it was a lovely stop for a refreshing drink, and I'll absolutely come again to try the food and pastries!

Yelp
One of my favorite banh mi places in all of Orlando! So happy I live so close to them now. I always order the Banh Mi Thit Nhuong here and Taro Boba Tea and am never disappointed. They use a French baguette versus a hoagie roll for those who don't know. If you are a coffee person, their sea salt caramel coffee is perfection as well. Just make sure to ask for 50% sugar because it tends to lean towards the sweet side. I am also happy they got rid of that hidden credit card fee charge, that was ridiculous. I'm sure they had lots of complaints about it.

Yelp
Best Banh Mi I've had keeps coming me back to this awesome spot! As a vegetarian, most of the banh mi options available to me are tofu-based--and don't get me wrong, I am a tofu fiend. Paris Banh Mi takes a different approach with their bean curd-based banh mi. It's so flavorful and goes well with the other ingredients of the sandwich. I also love their tea options. I don't like anything chewy or chunky in my milk tea (hold the boba and jellies please) so I love that adding those things is an extra charge here. Often I ask for none at other places and still wind up with it in my drink! The taro milk tea here is my go-to. In addition to tasty teas and yummy sandwiches, there is a case full of self-serve pastries as you walk in. I have only tried one pastry and it was simple but delicious. I really want to come in the morning one day for a good pastry breakfast to try some of their savory pastries as well.

Yelp
Stopped in for a few banh mi sandwiches to include for dinner with other items that night. Walked over from one of the Asian restaurants nearby. Ordered four grilled pork banh mi's and two drinks - a creme brûlée milk tea and a passion fruit slush. The banh mi's were good, even after sitting in the fridge for dinner later that evening. Would have been better to go with the standard deli meats than the pork though. Bakery was nicely displayed, and fairly busy with patrons. Good service, clean and food was good.

Yelp
Didn't know this location the OG and been open over 5 years. This place was way better than the one in KC. Friendly staff, open seating, easy to order, and their food and drink was superb. i enjoyed the space and came back the second time.

Yelp
Ordered delivery from Paris Banh Mi multiple times after a recent trip to Orlando. The cold cut banh mi (Dat biet) was delicious with what I think was the perfect ratio of filling! The grilled pork vermicelli was delicious as well. I also ordered a chicken pho to go, thought that was ok, wasn't as flavorful as other chicken pho I've had in the past. The photo of their fried chicken (sweet and sour chicken) looked fluffy and breaded, but was disappointed when it was just a chicken nugget. Egg rolls were ok, the ones I had in my order were slightly burnt or charred for some reason but still edible.
google avatar

Maria C.

Yelp
I loved the pastries they were flavorful and flaky! I also had the banh mi shredded chicken, this was okay but I think it is my preference to have a coleslaw inside that is tangy and this one was sweet. But still very edible and a good portion.

Yelp
Go to the location 3260 Vineland. It's SO GOOD! We ordered Special Pho, B2 Grilled Pork, C2 Half Cheese Dog Everything was SO GOOD! Service was excellent! Staff so friendly!!
google avatar

Brittney B.

Yelp
Love finding new places to grab good Asian food. Found this on my way to another boba spot. I've been curious about this egg waffle. I got the cheese sauce. I liked the waffle. Wasn't a fan of the sauce. The space was big but not busy inside.
google avatar

Andy L.

Yelp
An excellent place for Vietnamese Bann Mi and baked goods. Food was excellent and full of flavors. Service was quick during busy lunch. Plenty of seating inside even for a crowded lunch rush.
google avatar

Erin M.

Yelp
Stopped by for a quick bite to eat while I was in the area. Love that they are also a self-serve pastries bakery. There's plenty of seating options and speedy service! I got a grilled pork banh mi and a Thai tea. The Thai tea is a bit on the creamier side for me, I've had better Thai tea at other places in the area so I'd definitely try a different drink for my next visit. To me, I think the most important part of a good banh mi is the bread. The bread here is nice and soft with a slightly crisp, flaky outside. I love that it's slightly on the thinner side, so the banh mi isn't overwhelmed with the bread. The portion of the meat in the sandwich is generous, and I love the mix of pickled and fresh vegetables to balance out the savory and juicy grilled pork. The ambiance is very cute and clean, I could definitely see this as a nice place to hang out with friends or even study/work. I will definitely be coming back to try more menu options!
google avatar

Elizabeth F.

Yelp
The food here is very different than anything I've ever had and is delicious! Definitely a great place to check out.

Bo Trâm N.

Yelp
This is the most authentic Vietnamese-style bubble tea shop I've ever tried. The tea flavor is rich and strong. You must try the traditional milk tea with coffee jelly topping!
google avatar

Ches P.

Yelp
I know there are a lot of banh mi places around. But my go-to for something that isn't pork based is here! The veggie is made from some kind of seitan protein with very rich soy and lemongrass flavors. The bread has that cronch and balanced well with the pickled veggies. To make it vegan ask for no butter. Pair it with your favorite fresh baked dessert and a bubble tea and you are good to go! It's too bad there is a bunch of construction in the area which doesn't make the storefront appealing. But inside is nice and bright and still serve quality stuff
google avatar

Joseph S.

Yelp
This is one of the best Banh mi shops in Orlando! My favorite is the B2 grilled pork. They seem to always have the right amount of pickled radish/carrot, jalapeño, and lemongrass pork, and the bread is baked fresh. I do find that the Orlando spot on colonial is much better and more consistent than their other locations.
google avatar

Christina S.

Yelp
My girlfriend brought me here once and she got me into the creme brûlée milk tea. I was obsessed! I've been back several times after but the taste isn't consistent. The prices aren't bad and the staff is helpful if you ask. I love the baked goods section but it must sell quickly because when I go, it's always almost emptied out. You can truly tell which pastries are the most popular! We got a Thai tea today and it was very watery. I'm not sure the quality of the products or if they think it's okay to skimp, but I hope that is not the case. I will go back with my friend and see if the taste was like the first time! Anyhow, I really wish they had a stamp card or text reward program because we sure do spend a lot of money in there on these drinks!
google avatar

Yelp
Very fun place with some great bakery options. However, stock of the items in the cases were quite low or empty. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Large dining area with lots of space to walk around and occupy at tables. If you're in the area, this is a great place to stop for some great snacks.
google avatar

Yelp
5 stars said my wife ! Beautiful setup.. alluring to the eyes ; neat and exquisite.. I was fascinated by how neat the croissants were placed in the display case as you enter the cafe.. unfortunately the signage directing you to how to retrieve them was small. My wife had no problem reading the instructions and proceeded to indulge. Ingredients are listed for every single baked item ( croissants) . The teas are mostly milk tea ... non dairy. I wished there was an option for hot beverages but I guess it's not what this cafe catered towards. Prices were affordable throughout the menu. Macarons were beautiful display in a closed glass case and tended to by the cashier. Parking is on Colonial and behind the building, Drive 1hr with my hot date was worth it she said..my wife.

Yelp
I've been coming here for awhile. I love the shredded chicken banh mi. They also have French style pastries and dried snacks for sale. The sandwiches are made to order and the bread is always fresh baked. They mochi and ice cream and desserts in cooking cases. I haven't tried them but that look beautiful. Recently remolded and the place looks great. Also decorated for the holidays which is nice. Staff is friendly and it's clean inside.
google avatar

Sophia-Joy P.

Yelp
Most of the food options they have are savory sandwiches or sweet pastries. Not a lot of variety in flavor, mostly sweet croissant or milk bread. It's just a stop in bakery, no complains about the service. They have Vietnamese food too which makes the whole place smell very strange. It's a weird mix of butter and sliced meat.
google avatar

Linh N.

Yelp
Haven't tried their bánh mì but the artichoke drink is amazing. Love the vibe here- super spacious, new, and modern looking. Service is very fast. They're in a great area- the heart of all the Vietnamese businesses
google avatar

Erin K.

Yelp
I love the Asian French bakery movement that has been popping up all over the city. But unfortunately I can't say that about Paris Banh Mi. The pastries we got were dry and stale and our drinks were mid. They are a bit pricey for what you get. Unfortunately the service we received wasn't very good. We stood there waiting to check out and a person working behind the counter just stared at us. I understand it wasn't their time on the register, but they could have said something to us when we asked. Then someone came in from the back to check us out. Again they were not any better. This location is a definite will not try again.
google avatar

Blossom N.

Yelp
The food is quick clean and good. The staff is so sweet and helpful. The ambiance is so cute! The mango sly hue is very good with the lychee toppings

Gigi L.

Yelp
I am giving this place a 2 star because my cheese cake slice was so small for $8 price. Literally It was the size of a plastic spoon. I was very disappointed. It tasted great but will not be coming back for cheesecake!
google avatar

Vu L.

Yelp
This is the first Paris Banh Mi location off Colonial Drive. I've been to their second sister location off Kissime and they both never disappoint. However, this location has better bakery selections. In my opinion, I still think the Paris Banh Mi second location breads taste better and is more crispier and crunchier. Still, the bread and pastries are very good. Also, they nail the smoothies and bubble teas. The service was good and the ambience is family friendly. Both locations deserve a 10/10. Very clean and their breads are just a winner.
google avatar

Yelp
#2 with pate' and sweet chili sauce is my go to !!!! Fresh & delish great value and nice portions . Very bright and clean in the location.
google avatar

Jasmin C.

Yelp
I really wish they have something like this by me near home. Such a big variety of options from sandwiches to Boba Teas. Lots of chairs and table. Everything looks extremely clean. I believe this is a new franchise that just opened not long ago. Staff were all Vietnamese and were helpful. My kids love the corn dogs. My 14 year old loves the Cheetos and the mozzarella corn dog. My husband had the chicken croissant sandwich and that thing was delicious! The boba tea were great. Literally everything was . Def check this place out.
google avatar

Ashlee S.

Yelp
The workers seemed to be very nice the restaurant was very clean and bright. I enjoyed the easy to read menu's as well as the ease with being able to order. However I did order a cheetos korean corn dog (only cheese) and I was excited because the photos looked great in the advertisement and everything but unfortunately after waiting for however long I did wait for it to be done somehow the cheese was flavorless and cold? The outside was warm but also no sauces were there to add on which I usually get that and get asked what type of cheese (cheddar/mozz/etc). It was just pretty dissimilar for a $7 stick of fried cheese but, maybe the other options on the menu are worth trying. Cruncheese on Alafaya was better in my opinion. Might be back to try something else since the workers seemed nice. I only took two bites and I also didn't want to go back up and ask for a refund so I just went into the food court and got something else!
google avatar

Dang L.

Yelp
Been eating banh mi sandwiches in California for awhile and just moved to Orlando. Their special combination banh mi is not like all the others. It's different and it tastes great. . Been here three times already
google avatar

Myphuong L.

Yelp
I was impressed by this bakery. It's just like California! Taste like it too! It had all the different kinds of pastries individually wrapped, dried goods, desserts, cakes, drinks, Korean corn dogs, and bánh mì. We got the bánh mì of buy 5 get 1 free. There were 8 kinds to chose from and we did a mix and match of the special, grilled pork, and pate jambon. All served on a baguette. I forgot to mention to separate the pickled veggies. Whenever you do take out, you should request for veggies on the side because it'll make your sandwich soggy if you don't get to it immediately. Well we drove an hour to Daytona and I'm so glad they read our minds and separated without us asking.
google avatar

John H.

Yelp
Desserts were fabulous and colonial, staff were helpful and friendly, and the ambiance was simple but comfortable.
google avatar

Elizabeth A.

Yelp
Bang Mi is so good! Went late so pastry selection was small, but what I had was good too. Bad lighting on street. Street parking only.
google avatar

Zayna L.

Yelp
The food was so flavorful not to mention the teas were the perfect amount of sweet and not over the top, overall such a pleasant experience the service was great everyone was so comforting and kind the restaurant itself is clean tidy and an overall really nice space 100% would go again
google avatar

Kenny P.

Yelp
Paris Banh Mi is the perfect place whether you want a drink, dessert, or even a quick bite! When you walk in you are greeted by nice workers and immediately see the beautiful interior (that they just redesigned). When you come I highly recommend getting the 2 drinks we ordered and the banh mi!
google avatar

Freddy T.

Yelp
It's a Asian sandwich shoppe named after the capital of France. Once you get past the obvious weirdness of that You can check out their typical banh mo Vietnamese sandwich, The boba milks coffees pho or even a Korean hot dog
google avatar

Cecilia B.

Yelp
One of the best places to get Banh mi. They are also pretty quick with orders only if you have a huge demand. The selection of pastries and desserts is excellent. If you arrive later in the day, there aren't as many pastries. Their desserts in the glass display sometimes will change, but they always have the pretty jello flower desserts. They have a variety of other items and recently added Korean corndogs. I have yet to try them. The only comments I have to say are that the prices recently increased. Also, paying in cash is about 1-3% cheaper than paying with your card.
google avatar

Curt W.

Yelp
This is a great place if you're looking for subs that are different from your run of the mill subs. It has great food at a great value and the people there are very pleasant, and it has a bright, open setting that is nice. It's my go to place for lunch every Sunday now.
google avatar

Cindy T.

Yelp
There are several locations but this one is most convenient to the downtown location. I usually get the artichoke tea. Tastes just right!
google avatar

Ivy L.

Yelp
A great find right next to the Lazy Moon! Friendly staff and clean environment. Large variety of bakery treats and even food. Korean hot dogs were advertised as well as ice creams. Of course there's boba too. I got the honey flavored milk tea with boba and asked if they use alternative milks. The cashier responded that they do, but didn't really specify which one. Picked up one of their cherry and cheese filled pastries as a treat. Service was really fast so if you're in a rush, it's not a worry.
google avatar

Cindy M.

Yelp
Can't believe I've been holding out on visiting this place. Parking is solid, there's a lot and street parking. Inside is spacious can definitely accommodate large party. I'm not sure when they renovated but definitely between my last 2 visits. Service is always friendly and have solid recommendations. The pastries are tasty and don't taste stale. I've also ordered the pork banh mi. The bread is flaky and the pork is flavorful but not as charred as I'd like. The classic boba milk tea is good and boba has a good chew to it. The viet coffee boba is strong so skip if that's not your thing!
google avatar

Heather K.

Yelp
We were leaving Universal Studios and wanted to pick up something quick on our way back to Jax. This location for Paris Banh Mi is significantly yummier than the one located in Jax. We ordered two grilled pork banh mi. The bread was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. It was filled with ingredients and warmed up. Service was quick. Location is spacious, but does lack its own parking lot unless I missed it. We just parked on the street and walked over, no big deal.
google avatar

Andrew L.

Yelp
This maybe the best banh mi sandwich shop in the Orlando area. I had ordered the grill pork and vegetarian and both sandwiches was excellent. Both fillings was seasoned very well and very tasty. The bread had the right crisp and softness to it than other other sandwich shops. I had to order some drinks from their menu. All of the drinks I ordered was all delicious. See my pictures! The only thing is that location does not have parking so you would have to find a spot on the street. It might be more busier on weekends, but I had no problems on a weekday. They also sell bakery items in the store so you will forced you to buy something if you visit here which is not a bad thing. If you are here then you are hungry anyway so go for it. Overall, I highly recommend to try this place if you are in the area so you will be forced to spend some money.
google avatar

Ty M.

Yelp
The bahn mi is the absolute best! The bread is absolute perfection. I always have the vegan, and even meat eaters can't tell there is no meat. I always order to go & never not had it ready on time. The interior has recently been remodeled, and it has a fresh, clean look. At only $8.69 it is the best value in town. Give the Paris by Night a try, too. Fabulous!
google avatar

Robyn Y.

Yelp
We stopped here for a snack on our way back from Legoland. Totally hit the spot, and picked up some yummy baked goods for later as well. Don't be intimidated by their large menu- quantity does not replace quality! My husband was particularly fond of the corn dog with crunchy ramen. I loved the chicken banh mi- great heat, very spicy and the bread was super fresh. I am a big boba fan, so its hard to disappoint me. I got the peach black tea with oat milk and boba, less sweet. So delicious. Can't wait to go back to try more items. The only thing I would change is that I found their seating options to be a bit uncomfortable.

Melissa H.

Yelp
Everyone was very nice. It was my first time trying bang mi, and the ladies helped me to make a good decision. I also got some bubble tea. Very tasty. The whole vibe and decor were very cute.
google avatar

Jiwon L.

Yelp
I got the grilled pork banh mi, and this banh mi is GOOOOOOD!! The baguette is perfectly crispy and not too bready, the pickled veggies are good, and the grilled pork was flavorful! The space is nice and open, lots of seating. There are bakery items in the middle of the store. It's well lit inside. Parking is available behind the building. You order up at the counter which is easy. The menu is easy to read and straight forward.
google avatar

Cheryl V.

Yelp
Cute little place with a great vibe. We didn't have a whole lot of items from the menu, but we did have an empanada, which was really delicious. The sea salt coffee was almost too sugary to drink. So I definitely know, next time, to ask for way less sugar. My guest had a pastry that was pretty delicious as well. May have to go back and try more items on the menu!
