7 Best Korean BBQ Restaurants In Miami

"There are a few locations of this Korean bakery scattered around Broward, which used to be known as Paris Morning Bakery (and still may show up on Google as such). The one in Lauderhill isn’t the biggest, but since it’s in Lauderhill, it can easily become part of an all-day Korean food crawl (which should include a trip to Oriental Market, an excellent Asian market next door). Plus, it has a row of fluffy, not-too-sweet Korean pastries you can take to go, as well as cakes. There are also bingsu and boba tea, making this a pretty perfect place to hide on a very hot day. And each Paris location stays open late so it’s great for a quick dessert run after dinner." - ryan pfeffer

Google
They advertised as half off after 9 p.m., and I've been getting two for one price for cake slices. Today, I went in around 9:10pm. to get two slices, and the cashier told me those cake slices are not half off because "they're not supposed to be cut today." This really doesn't make sense since if the advertisement says half off after 9pm and they have been sold as half price after 9pm. The explanation of "the cake cutted today are not for half off" are not printed or disclosed anywhere of their ads. The "subjective" are very unfair and fishy.

Google
Great staff ! But the franchise owner needs to keep up with equipment and demand. Cappuccino used to be great, Americano coffee with a shot of espresso and zero froth is not a cappuccino. The owner is sub par compared to other franchise owners. Great location, best brownies and cakes, nice workers and fellow customers. Just don't expect a proper cappuccino.

Google
Not all the sweets are always available. Cake is available for a slice but a bit disappointed to have very few fruits on the top and nothing in-between the layers. Korean dishes were awesome. The biggest issue was that the pricing on the sweets is a little too high. One small bun is almost $4 with tax.

Google
Righteous little bakery with stellar service and freshly baked cakes, mouth watering pastries, bubble tea, iced and hot coffee and variety of interesting twists on baked goods. It won’t cost you an arm and a leg either! Ivana holds this place down with some excellent service!

Google
These can all be five just that it’s under construction and that’s the fist time I went no signs and the ones they have aren’t real you can’t buy a slice of cake. So it was like o ok. We got it but to me false advertising is just not ok. But I am willing to give them another chance once they are fully reopened!

Google
I read the reviews and I was excited to try it. For my soripe I ordered chocolate ice cream and received vanilla, also the botton of the ice cream was just Ice with no flavor. Not satisfied. I would like to get my momenh back.

Google
First time to this bakery with my friend. And it's a very clean and cute bakery. The bubble tea is pretty good. The owner gave us a sample of one of the cakes on the house and it was very delicious. Fresh strawberry whip cream filling. Next time I will be trying out the desserts or possibly the Korean bowls. Tried out their Strawberry Bingsoo, very fluffy and fresh strawberry slices. Amazing. Tried the Chicken and Eel Zipbop. The flavors are amazing.

Yelp
Paris Bakery still shows on the building. They are doing some remodeling so not in full service but we enjoyed our melt in your mouth cream and Nutella puffs. After 9pm most breads are half off. People were snatching them up. We can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Paris Morning Bakery @aribakery.cafe Lauderhill, FL Such a variety! All freshly made! Nice service. Loved thr bakery ambiance. I loved the Blueberry Croffle. It was delicious! The Hibiscus Lemonade was very refreshing! Have you tried a croffle yet? #ParisMorningBakery #Ari #Bakery #Korean #FrenchInspired #FreshlyBaked #Croffle #Hibiscus #Lauderhill #Foodie #LetsDrinkz #EatzWithSweetz #LetsEatz

Yelp
This place is my to go for bubble tea spot and some good Korean treats. I've had the tea, milk, clear tea and smoothie. Awesome customer service and a cute little spot. I recommend this place to people who have never tried bubble tea.

Yelp
This is a nice place to study or get work done. I like that they are open late and have outlets/extensions at each table. I came on a weekday evening and ordered a hot ginger tea. It was a little too sweet for my liking, but it was nice to sip on slowly. The place wasn't too busy. Service was a little bit slow. When I came in, there was no one at the register, and I had to wait for 10 minutes before anyone came out. However, after I ordered my drink, I didn't interact with the staff much, so I can't really say service is too important if you're planning on sitting in. The inside of the restaurant was clean and organized. The pastries were all individually wrapped, which I think is better than sitting in the open air like at other bakeries. And if you come after 9pm, some of the pastries go on sale for 50% off. The seats can be a bit uncomfortable. Some of the seats have cushions, but the booth seats are just wooden. Overall, I give this place a 4/5. It feels very similar to a paris baguette vibe or similar korean bakery cafes. And I'd love to come back and try a cake or one of their food bowls.

Yelp
There are a few of these bakeries. The first time, a few years ago, I visited the one in Davie. I had no clue what any of the treats were and the service was awful so I wrote them off. After visiting this location recently a couple of times I have to say they are not all created equal. Luckily so. This location is smaller but bright clean with a cute decor. And the service is welcoming friendly and helpful. The items I've had so far have been fresh and delish. Will definitely visit again.

Yelp
I have been to the University Drive location of what I believe is Tamarac city limits. The mini Egg Custard Tart is delightfully tasty. Nice store. I have much more to explore.

Yelp
It's now call Ari bakery and cafe, but it's still the same great menu. The pastries are all perfect sweets without being too sweet. My only complaint is that they don't have Thai tea anymore. They also have macarons, waffles, and cakes that you can purchase. I'm not sure if they do custom cakes though.

Yelp
I chose this place thinking it was a French bakery. To my disappointment, when I got there the name of the establishment was "ARI bakery & coffee". I was even more disappointed that they didn't have sandwiches, they just had "Korean rice bowl". In order not to miss the trip, I opted for the "Spice pork", $12.95, the food is not served on the table, they put it on the counter for you to pick up, in addition to being served on a plastic plate and with 1 fork, without any other utensils. The dish came with rice (no seasoning) and the spicy pork had more fat than meat, and cut lettuce, not worth the price at all. Apparently they are popular for bubble tea as all the people I saw going in there were just to buy that. They have a wide variety of breads, I decided to get 2 to try at home. "Garlic bread" $3.99, very tasty, the dough is very soft and the filling is very tasty, and "chocolate cake filled with cream" $4.99 is super dry. The variety of cakes looks beautiful but I don't intend to try it or return to the establishment. The service was nothing special, a young girl who just took my order and was a little lost when I asked if the Spice pork was with kimchi or another type of pepper!

Yelp
I used to come here quite often for the pastries, but lately the service has been so bad it's just not worth it anymore. Today I walked in and no one was behind the counter, so I got my pastries and waited for someone to show up. The employee with braids walked out from the back briefly, looked at us, and walked back into the kitchen without saying anything. She came out a few minutes later with some boxes of food and sat them on the display case without saying anything to the customer who was waiting for them, and then (STILL not acknowledging what was now a whole line of people), turned around and started making drinks. My sister and I were so put off by this girl's rude, dismissive attitude that we just left our pastries and walked out. The employee literally couldn't care less. I understand maybe she was the only one working and might have been stressed, but COME ON - it takes all of two seconds to say "Hi, I'm the only one here right now so please give me a moment." Go to the Miramar location instead - they actually acknowledge customers there!

Yelp
The best croissants ever. They make breakfast with them, put different feelings like Apple and cream. That's my favorite. You have to try this place!

Yelp
I was the most surprised to find a French bakery with boba milk teas so close to me. I was expecting just a small cafe with coffee and croissants from the outside, but was so pleasantly surprised to find many baked goods, cakes, macaroons, coffee, and milk tea. They seem to usually be open 11am-11pm so there is plenty of time to stop by in a day. Plenty of parking but just a few tables inside. Decor and music are fun and create a easy vibe. Great place to work remote for a break or for a nice study day. Staff is friendly as well! I ordered the lavender milk tea with boba along with an almond croissant. Hands down one of my favorite flavors for milk tea. Boba wasn't hard and not too squishy either, so overall the perfect consistency. I was looking for a baked good that was sweet but not overly so, making the almond croissant the perfect choice. Very moist and fluffy. The almond paste was light yet filling. My boyfriend had the blueberry cream puff/eclair. It was absolutely delicious and I would love to have it again. Will definitely be going back regularly to try everything.

Yelp
Cute little bakery with a various selection of baked goods. My favorite one is pictured with the cream in the middle. It tastes like Boston Kreme donuts except without the chocolate. The dough is super exquisite and they do not play when it comes to the cream on the inside. Although, it can get overwhelming creamy it is still something to indulge if craving sweets. I also got some boba which I thought was ok. What I really come for is their cake. One of the best cakes I ever had is their red velvet. Super fresh, and super delicious. Service was good and the interior is nice and simple. Just enough touch to make it pop.
google avatar

Yelp
It has a really cute video the decor I'd amazing . No complaints on the food and Boba that I have had cat say I've had te cakes but hopefully soon . The service is mid . It isn't bad at All but not amazing.

Mayako N.

Yelp
This place is so cute. They have a few tables to sit and enjoy their sweets. Also, they have free wi-fi. I saw some people with laptops working too. The breads looked good but a bit pricey. I had lunch and was full. So, decided to get boba tea. The boba was hard and tea was too sweet for my taste. Next time I want to try their bingsu.
google avatar

Yelp
Love this place! I live 1 mile or so from here. It is pretty and cute, they have so many amazing and special bakery dessert items. It's a Korean bakery cafe. Have never tried their boba drinks, will try those next. Had a latte and their delicious egg tarts. My sisters got other desserts and I tried them all. Super delicious will be a loyal customer! Staff very courteous and friendly. Very clean tidy little shop. Keep up the great work!
google avatar

Yelp
I've been going to this bakery for over 8 years and it's still amazing. I've been to Korean bakeries all over Orlando, Georgia, New York, and California, and this is just as good. I've tried their patbingsu, pastries, bubble tea, and cakes and they are all amazing. I love their cakes the most, the cakes are Korean style too. They have the best cake I've ever tasted, the cake's quality, taste, ratio, presentation, and texture is top tier. My favorite cake is the red velvet and chocolate powder cake. Everybody that I have gave this cake to loved it. I just wish that they had more varieties for the pastries, sadly they don't have the hotdog and croquette pastries no more.

Sola M.

Yelp
Super cute cafe that's going through a branding change. It's a french Korean fusion bakery, and they have lots of Korean bowls, boba tea, and pastries. I'm curious to see how everything is once the rebrand is complete, but it's a super cute hip place to grab some unique treats, listen to k pop and hang with friends.
google avatar

Martine K.

Yelp
I have been to two of their locations (here and David). Service is super friendly at both. The red velvet cake is amazing. Very light and a beauty to look at. They have French and Korean baked goods. I tried the hamster bread and it's adorable and very sweet. I definitely need to come back and try new items but I usually cannot resist this cake.
google avatar

Mark M.

Yelp
This place has potential, but it just doesn't feel that great. Sure they have lots of baked goods for sale, but the placement of them in the center aisle is odd. They are all prepackaged as well. I think it's better to put them under or behind the counter for a better presentation. We were there for coffee and we ordered two cappuccinos. The staff person behind the counter wasn't that friendly. She made recommendations without us even asking. We ordered two cappuccinos and they were made by their Nespresso automatic machine. They tasted okay, nothing special. The inside of this place has a few tables, as well as two plastic tables and plastic chairs out front. Not the most chic for calling themselves a Paris Cafe.

Antonasia B.

Yelp
Nice work ambiance, it's quiet and easy to focus on my work when I got there to study. The baked items are really good as well and I have never been disappointed yet. The workers are really polite as well.

Matthew K.

Yelp
Great parties, boba is pretty solid. Looking forward to getting a cake there soon! Plus this place is open very late for a bakery!!
google avatar

Lecel L.

Yelp
Probably will not come back. First of all, we heard good things about this place but coming in, we didn't feel welcome. The person taking in our order looks like she hates her job. The coffee was bitter and the mango bubble tea was just not good. Tasted artificial and had a weird after taste. I can't recommend this to anyone.
google avatar

Aysia M.

Yelp
110% recommend! There is not much to dislike. Freshly baked cakes, pastries and bread. Tasty boba tea. Try the amazing spicy pork bulgogi !!!! Get the red velvet cake or the fresh cream. If you're adventurous try the sweet potato. On the baked goods in the middle where do I begin - cream cheese bread, blueberry croissant thing, almond paste hamster things, the pull-apart bread with jelly pineapple and cream cheese topped with almonds. Ask them about their coffee. Take a picture in front of the sign. Wait until it's late and all the breads are 50% off because they bake them daily and the cakes that don't sell are sold as slices the next day. Can't beat it. And when you're done pop into oriental mart for ramen and dumplings like I do.

Les C.

Yelp
Best boba in town! Pastries are super unique and yummy! Staff is always kind and takes their time
google avatar

Yelp
Great place to order cakes for birthdays and holidays. The gentleman who took my cake order was very friendly and patiently answered all my questions. I've also visited the store plenty of times and the staff have always been very helpful. Compared to Asian bakeries in NYC, their selection of buns and bread is slightly limited for my taste but they do have boba tea and hot food options. I enjoy their croquettes and cheese sandwiches which are in the glass case at the register. You can ask to have them warmed. The sweet breads they have are not as soft and fluffy as I'm used to. The hamster bread is very cute but a little too sweet for me. The teas are on the sweet side as well so make sure you tell them less syrup or powder.
google avatar

Christine D.

Yelp
Great place with authentic French stuff. They just take a little long for latte but it's well worth it.The bakery gives a very light asian fusion vibe. Gave me asian bakeries from California with presentation of snacks in the entrance of the store. The coffee is really sweet and i did not like it

Kristina D.

Yelp
Not authentic desserts. At all. I ordered about 5 different pastries to try and they all tasted store bought and not fresh. I ended up throwing them away, unfortunately. I was expecting a real bakery where the pastries are crispy and delicious. It was the exact opposite of that. The 3 stars if for the lavender tea with the boba. That one was done well.
google avatar

NataDrew M.

Yelp
Small corner boba shop/bakery! Fresh pastries, yummy boba, many options and must try the cake ! Can't resist :)
google avatar

Urooj F.

Yelp
Cute ambiance and delicious looking cakes and pastries! I only tried the mango jasmine tea but it was great! They were out of the lychee jelly I unfortunately so I paired the tea with strawberry popping boba instead.
google avatar

Sylvia C.

Yelp
Love their products, especially their cakes! The staff is pleasant and the place is nice and well kept.
google avatar

Eileen G.

Yelp
Went in at 11:22 and they didn't have a lot of things ready like boba and coffee. The owner should be ready for service when it opens instead of asking customers to wait for an hour just for simple things like boba and coffee. The black sugar milk tea tasted like sugar and milk. We couldn't taste any tea flavors. The flavors are very lacking, so are the variety. It's quite disappointing.
google avatar

Dalila G.

Yelp
Very cute little place they have a lot of sweet I'm home baked breads and beautiful cakes I usually come here for the bobba teas I've tried pretty much all of them my favorite for a hot day is the passion fruit or coconut and newest flavor the lavender milk tea they are open fairly late.
google avatar

Valerie A.

Yelp
Ordered a cake here so that I didn't show up to a dinner empty handed. I've never been here but I heard the host was a fan of their cakes. Everything in here looked so good. I will definitely be back to try EVERYTHING. I ordered a small sized cake. They didn't have every flavor available so I settled for the fresh cream cake. It was packaged perfectly to go. The cake was so soft, the fruit on top fresh, and the flavor is subtle without being overly sweet or artificial.
google avatar

Kandyce V.

Yelp
One of the most delicious cakes I have ever eaten. My staff bought me two cakes for my birthday one was chocolate and the other was red velvet. Both were amazing light fluffy and not too sweet. I went back today to pick up a strawberry cake I will have to post later how it was. I did get a little rolls with strawberry jam and cream with almonds on top and they were divine. If you've never had cakes from here I highly encourage you to treat yourself to a magnificent treat.

Dona M.

Yelp
The food was good, the pastries better. We were traveling and looking for good coffee and pastries.
google avatar

Emily S.

Yelp
I stopped by here last night with the family. I was in the mood for boba and this was five minutes away from the restaurant we had eaten at. I had seen this place around a couple of times on Yelp so I figured I'd give it a shot. When we walked in there wasn't much stuff behind the display. As for the assorted pastries, they were in the center looking a bit picked over. They make you put on gloves first to select pastries already in the plastic covered bags. We ended up getting a chocolate croissant, a piece of pound cake/angel food cake, and two bubble teas, one milk and one mango. Honestly, it wasn't the best boba I had tasted. The boba part was okay, and the actual milk tea was too sweet and not so tasty. My sister seemed to like her bubble tea though and didn't have complaint. As for the pastries, they were pretty good. The chocolate croissant was very tasty and my mother liked the pound cake.
google avatar

Michelle E.

Yelp
I guess they close when they want. Showed up at 10:30, lights were off and I saw an employee inside cleaning up.
google avatar

Delmy Steffany M.

Yelp
Everything looks really good, the cookies and the cream cheese bread were really good. If you come after 9 it's 50% off on all the bread! The cake can be better tho...
google avatar

Marsha-Lee C.

Yelp
It's amazing how they set up extra precautions during COVID. Upon entering they have hand sanitizer and gloves you put on to select ur bakery items . They also have wearing mask mandatory. They also have seatings and lines to maintain social distancing.. They have several patient options and different bubble teas to choose from . Great customer service .
google avatar

Yelp
Paris Morning Bakery is my favorite little hole in the wall cafe. Located right off of commercial and university it sits between a auto shop and a barbershop. The setup of PMB is very cute. They have adorable green tables and chairs outside of the bakery as well as an assortment of tables and chairs inside. There's almost always more than enough seating for your comfort. The bakery constantly plays K-pop music videos and music. There may not always be someone upfront to attend to you immediately but from what I understand from visiting so often is that a good amount of their items on the menu are made in the back of house. Whenever I visit I typically grab the ham & cheese croissant and have it toasted. I also pair it with the Rose Jasmine Boba Tea with Tapioca (sometimes extra tapioca) because it's just that tasty. Everything in PMB is fair price and the service is great. All of the workers are very personable and very easy to spring a short conversation up with.

Yelp
This cute, little bakery has all the goodies a girl can ask for. I came here for a graduation cake. I wanted something a little different than your average publix cakes. I found this place not too far from my house called Paris Morning Bakery... I am so delighted! As soon as, you walk in there is an array of colorful pastries from golden fluffy breads, to assorted cakes, to French pastries, and sweet aromatic desserts, including macarons, tiramisu, chocolate mousse and much much more. The presentation made me want to taste everything. Not only do they sell pastries, they also sell Korean rice bowls, Korean shaved ice desserts. And Bubble teas... As much as, I wanted to try everything showcased, unfortunately, I had to run in and run out. The lady at the counter was very helpful in helping me select a cake. She described each one in such detail it made it harder for me to choose. I wanted to buy all of them. I ended up going with the red velvet cake. It was too cute to pass on. Shaped and decorated like and apple, and iced with a light whipped cream. The cake was as good as it looked! Everyone of my guests complimented the cake on how moist it was, not too sweet, not too dense, just light, airy, fluffy cake. It was a true chocolate red velvet cake, not the yellow cake with dye in it. I usually love the cream cheese icing with red velvet cake, but the whipped icing was a good touch. The macarons were looking too colorful and delightful to pass up, so I had to order 2 of them. Absolutely delicious! The only downfall, it was $3.50 a macaron. That's like paying $3.50 for each oreo cookie. Lol There were a few people there hanging out on their laptops like they were in Starbucks. It seems to be a nice little hangout spot. Needless to say, I will definitely be back to try more desserts.

Yelp
If it has red bean paste, I am there. The bakery serves lots of delicious baked goods and other foods, smoothies, teas, coffee, etc. Everything I have tried has been good, but the staff is where they lose points for me. I have been to this location a few times and almost always disappoint. They sit with their friends when they come in and act annoyed when a customer walks in. They go in the back and have a five minute conversation with customers left standing at the counter (thanks to whomever called, so they needed to answer it at the counter). Nice young lady, but an acknowledgment and an apology would have been appropriate and appreciated.

Tracy M.

Yelp
Cute bakery. I was excited to try boba tea...I ordered 4 different flavors and only the black sugar was tasty! I asked for all milk base but strawberry, mango and lychee were disgusting, I don't know if they even had milk in them. By the way one of the employees looks like she hates her job.
google avatar

Tanya M.

Yelp
The cakes are gorgeous and delicious! I have had the strawberry and sweet potato cakes so far and they were light with the perfect amount of flavor and sweetness. I can't wait to try the cocoa one and the red velvet cake is almost too pretty to eat! They have adorable hamster bread and so many delightful pasteries to choose from! The almond bearclaw, brownies and sweet cream buns are some of my favorites. I am in love with this place.

Yelp
Have been to this plaza so many times and never knew this bakery was here! I've only heard of Paris Morning Bakery being in the area but have never visited as I live in Palm Beach County. I stumbled across this bakery after eating dinner in the plaza and to my benefit, they had a huge sign on display that said 50% off all bakery bread after 9PM! I'm like YESSSS! Typically their bakery isn't cheap. About $3 per bread. I bought a few after 9PM and it was so worth it! Each item is pre-packaged in clear bags and with tongs, you self-serve yourself on a tray and bring it to the cashier to check out. Besides bakery, they have fresh to made items as well. They have a variety of desserts such as boba tea and snow ice. They serve a few flavors and allow you to dine in as well. They have a few tables for you to kick back while watching k-pop music videos. Overall the bakery is very clean and bright. I will definitely be coming back.

Rob O.

Yelp
They have great coffees and choices of breads, etc.... A bit on the pricey side, but that's subjective. Usually i look for coffee places based on 2 things: Open late, and seating outside. Paris Morning Bakery does not have outdoor seating but they do close at 11pm. Since they have no outdoor seating i probably won't be returning but i do recommend it if this is not important to you.

Yelp
Entering this bakery, it definitely has a Asian feel to it, with an affinity towards Korean K-Pop. The shop itself was well maintained and clean, with fresh baked items nicely packaged and displayed. They cake display case was especially impressive with some beautifully decorated cakes prominently displayed. Tried a few items, croissant, custard cream filled turnovers, light as air bread, a couple specialty creations, and a decidedly French baked raisin tarte. Every item was equally delicious, well baked and light! Packaging and presentation was top notch. However, service was slow and lacking of any customer care. It seemed as if there was something else more important to do or an attitude of indifference. In any case, the 3 rating was due to the missing service, as the baked items were outstanding. Coffee, so so at best....not hot and flat flavor......very bitter and weak, didn't help its rating either. Lunch bowls are nice idea, but overly sweet (especially the bulgogi bowl), or salty (spicy pork bowl). Stay with the baked items! Last note, parking can be difficult, as there's a lack of available parking spaces. Timing is everything when finding a parking spot! Need to be patient, just like with the service. Worth the wait. Y

Yelp
The breads and drinks here are very good. The customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I was waiting with a couple other customers for drinks, and the employee just put them all out without indicating whose they were. Then, the entire group of employees walked to the back walked to the back and disappeared. There was not a smile or greeting to be had and the cashier seemed irritated with my very presence.

Yelp
This place was so amazing. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by this long table full of breads/pastries. They have ample amount of bread/pastries samples in pretty decent size. The display of cakes were so beautiful to look at. They also have Boba teas, coffee drinks, Patbingsoo (Korean Shaved ice milk snow desert), and Zimbop. We ended up getting several bread/pastries, Boba teas, and red velvet cake. All the bread/pastries were so good. It tasted fresh, soft and delicious. The red velvet cake looked so good that you don't want to eat it. It was moist, soft, and not too sweet. We had the iced Taro Boba tea and iced Milk Tea with Boba which were pretty good and not too sweet as well. Will definitely come back to try more of their breads/pastries, Zimbops, and the Patbingsoo.
