I walked in to see what they have. There are tons of bakeries everywhere and I like to see what makes a bakery different and unique. The bakery has nice and clean tables and plenty of space to enjoy the pastries. I tried the cream puff which is soft and lightly sweeten bread with bavarian cream inside and it was wonderful and delicious!!! It's not heavy like a donut from DD. I highly recommend this if you like this type of pastry. I bought the Butter Milk Bread which I will be having and any leftovers will be sliced and put into the freezer for another time. The counter lady, Ellie, is super sweet and she helped me chose other pastry items and recommended to me how to keep the bread tasting fresh if I don't intend to eat the Butter Milk Bread in one day. I just came back from NYC and the quality is similar to the bakery that I used to go to.
Update: The Butter Milk Bread - I cut it up, stored it in the freezer, took 3 slices out, let it sit for 25 minutes, and toasted it. I AM NOT A BREAD PERSON AND I LOVE IT!!! THE BREAD MELTS IN YOUR MOUTH!!!
