"OneSeed is an offshoot of a restaurant that founder Nicki Hamilton first opened in Dallas, Texas, called Gather Kitchen. Now she hopes to take her flavors up north with a counter-service, fast-casual spot. Here, the vegetable-centric menu runs the gamut from Bolognese zoodles to cauliflower fried rice." - Emma Orlow

Yelp
My child does not go to school here, but I wanted to give a rating for the school's athletic leadership. I have been very impressed with my interactions with Mr. Zugrave and Mr. Schroeder. In today's world it is so important to have athletic leadership that live the principles of caring about the community and helping others.

Yelp
I LOVE THIS PLACE, my kids go here and they are always coming back home saying what a beautiful day they had and I love that they are happy, it fills my heart with joy.

Yelp
Well my daughters goes there and she agrees that it has good education and it really pushes the students to be the best they can be .

Yelp
I have had my daughter and 2 nieces graduate from Parish. My grandson is currently in 2nd grade at Parish. They all had great well rounded experiences there. I think Parish prepares them to be productive citizens and to live a spiritual life. We are very happy with our decision to send them all to Parish.

Yelp
The school leadership wants to think of themselves as top tier, but does not have the skill and insight to do so. It has taken 100+ years for St. Mark's and Hockaday. Very arrogant administration. The Head of the School at Parish, Dave Maniaco, tells other 8th grade parents applying to Parish that if his school (Parish) isn't their first choice, to just not apply! Is that what he recommends to his seniors with their 1st choice colleges? To put all their eggs in one basket? Dave is a good salesman and has charisma. We were initially drawn into the cult. Then we began to ask whether our child was really doing any better that they would elsewhere. The answer is, "No, we have had the wool pulled over our heads. We are spending much more than we should for leaders who ignore and insult us." You definitely have to buy into the special culture at this school. They pretend to be inclusive but it is absolutely not true. Dave Man will say that they place less focus on test scores, but this is absolutely false. If a child with dyslexia is not at a certain level, they are not offered a contract for the following year.

Yelp
I never went to school here but I volunteered as part of my university's community outreach program. Long story short, I volunteered here from 8am to around 5:30. They refused to inform my school I did more than 6 hours even though I did nearly 10 and just for asking, they lied and told my school I only did 2.5 hours. I have a whole email chain and screenshots to prove it. Very dishonest of them.

Yelp
Went to this school for 11 years. Raised tons of money for them and was involved in every aspect from live auctions for gala to other student events. Was treated poorly by staff and admin. Because i didn't sign my child up in time for registration for the following year. Their email landed in my junk folder. Was basically kicked to the curb and told too bad!! Horrible taste in my mouth on this supposed faith based school. Would not recommend

Yelp
We've had a son and daughter at Parish for over a decade. We love that it's a forward-thinking, inclusive, co-ed environment. The reimagined curriculum and signature programs have provided them a challenging but balanced education. They have participated in everything from sports to the arts and are not only college-ready but are HAPPY people of impact. I highly recommend Parish Episcopal School for those seeking a positive k-12 private school experience.

Yelp
There is an incredible array of opportunities at Parish! Whether athletic, academic, service, artistic, etc... Every student can find their niche and thrive at Parish. The curriculum is challenging; the atmosphere is bright, welcoming and inspiring. Excellent school!

Yelp
Our son and daughter have been attending Parish Episcopal school since preK, now they are starting and finishing middle school. We are extremely pleased with their evolution at all levels: academic, social, spiritual (not necessarily religious), sports and maturity level. We believe that they are being taught from a multi angled perspective to prepare them with excellence not only for academics but for real life, teaching them to deal with their strengths and shortcomings, showing them the path to find their passions, to assess opportunities and risks, guide them in how to behave in social situations of different sorts, even in sticky situations, that for sure will arise in a coed environment that gets more and more complex and challenging as they get older, but nevertheless is safer as they are in a controlled environment with teachers that care for them as a whole, focused on the results in all the those different areas that are influencing the person they are becoming as future adults. We just love this wholesome approach!!!

Yelp
If you are looking for a good school, grades K-12, with good academics, look beyond. Although they have phenomenal programs in theater, art, music, and good athletics, the academics lack, there is TONS of drama, and the headmaster is a joke.

Yelp
Nice 3 million blue turf field but other than that bad school all around
