Where to Eat in Old Metairie

"Parish Line Bistro rebuilt the old Metry Bar in the wedge-shaped building that was originally a train depot more than a century ago. There’s a rooftop bar and an airy dining room for enjoying specialties like wagyu beef sashimi, whole roasted cauliflower oozing parmesan, olive oil, and preserved lemon, Mexican-style street corn, and a buttery Maine lobster roll. Locomotion presides, from the wall of train tickets papering the bar to the iron train rails that serve as footrests." - Beth D'Addono

The 6 Most Anticipated New Orleans Restaurant Openings for Summer 2022 - Eater New Orleans

"This upcoming Metairie bar and restaurant, though just announced, is due this summer — apparently that’s possible when a number of wealthy local businessmen are behind the project. Parish Line Bistro Bar, backed by New Orleans Saints general manager Mickey Loomis and John Georges, the owner of the Times Picayune/New Orleans Advocate, among others, will open in the former Metry Cafe and Bar. A main draw here will be an open-air rooftop, a rare find outside Orleans Parish lines, as well as food from Chris Wilson, a former Emeril’s restaurant chef who most recently co-founded Metairie’s Larder Market. Extensive renovations are underway to transform the former dive into an upscale bar by late August, according to a press release." - Clair Lorell

The happy hour espresso martini shots are soooo good ($5 for those) and the house marg for $6 was also good! My favorite dishes were the brussel sprouts and the tuna crispy rice appetizer. This is a great spot for drinks and small plates/shareables in Old Metairie. The rooftop/terrace area is so enjoyable and we don’t have many places around here that offer that.

I already can't wait to go back. The inside is so picturesque - just stunning! (Didn't eat on the rooftop because of the heat but it looks so amazing!) Brunch was delicious, but I'm going to be thinking of the Parm + Miso Butter Biscuits everyday until I die 🤤. Shout out to our server, Al 🏆 He checked on us often, always made sure our bubbles were filled, and was very helpful with recommendations. I'M 👏🏻 COMING 👏🏻 BACK 👏🏻 ASAP!👏🏻

I’ve only been to Parish Line Bistro twice for happy hour. The host are always friendly and great you with smiles. The ambience is really nice….from the cool lighting fixtures and the pretty green walls. It has a nice pop. There’s a cool rooftop bar. The space overall is small. It’s pretty chill tho… What I love about Parish Line Bistro they give complementary “train shots”. Every time the train passes they give out a shot! Now that’s pretty cool! The food and drink menu is limited. It is pretty pricey… that’s why I only go for happy hour. I was starving….. I really wanted to give the sliders a try. I couldn’t see myself paying 2 sliders for $16 (plus no fries). Maybe I would have felt different if it would have been an actual burger for that price. I ended up getting the cauliflower. It was decent. I did like the garlic tabasco aioli. For my drink I had the spicy Christine Paloma (has some kick). I must safe there Frozé is really good! However, they should reconsider revamping the menu.

Google
Tacos were very good. Service was great. Most were eating upstairs, but there was no elevator so we ate downstairs in the bar area which was fine.

Google
Loved the atmosphere here !! Beautiful rooftop setting and our waitress was very nice and checked on us several times throughout the evening. The drinks were amazing! Great place for our girls night out!

Google
Man, we had such high hopes but each good quality kept being negated by another disappointment. The music was enjoyable and there are multiple TVs to enjoy. My wife and I had a reservation and were excited to enjoy their rooftop. Unfortunately, due to the weather the upstairs area was closed which is not their fault obviously. However, the first issue we had was when we arrived the hostess immediately sat us at a wet section of the bar. We weren't even asked if we preferred to wait for a table until a manager came over after presumably noticing the discussion my wife and I were having before taking our seats (they were also nice enough to dry the bar when we did sit). We felt awkward and didn't want to disrespect the bartender so we kept our places. The bartender service was great! He made our drinks well, was attentive, and had a solid attitude. Then, my wife and ordered the Maine Lobster Rolls. We don't see many lobster rolls where we usually frequent so this was looking to be a nice surprise. The surprise came when not only did the fries taste better than the lobster, but my $38 lobster roll had two pieces (one being rather large) of shell and another inedible bit. Normally, I would let a manager know to help the next guest out. They seemed nice enough, but then when I can hear management complaining about how slowly another table is eating it makes me really uncomfortable. I don't think we got our money's worth of positive experience.

Google
Great food at great prices. I went for brunch and it was excellent. Nice staff and atmosphere. They also have $15 bottomless mimosas which is a great price.

Annikah G.

Google
I think this place has great potential…We ordered the smoked salmon dish. They skimped on the salmon for each “toast” with maybe one slice per piece. It also said it was on focaccia but really it was toast (see picture). Focaccia is typically a light and airy bread as opposed to a crunchier hard bread. Also, it was served on a bed of raw kale. The kale wasn’t dressed or massaged and a seasoned chef should know how to treat a rough green like kale when serving, while also knowing that you don’t put anything that is inedible on the plate.. We also ordered the Cajun caviar fries. It was just French fries, nothing special, with unseasoned crème fraiche with caviar on the side as more of a dipping sauce. I’d rather just have some good elevated French fries over what I was served, especially at $23. There was nothing “Cajun” about the caviar (no seasoning, no spice) and my waiter was unknowledgeable about the type of caviar it actually was. Further, nothing entree-related really excited me.. Lobster is a tough menu option especially when you are in the heart of the gulf with so many other great options that scream New Orleans cooking (oysters, shrimp, redfish). A classic shrimp and grits or shrimp risotto or blackened redfish would be a great alternative that could be sold at similar prices if done well. Plus: cool rooftop.

Yelp
I am updating my review from 3 stars to 5 because I came here recently for their new brunch Sundays and I was very pleased with the improvements. They do not take reservations but the place wasn't too packed so I got 2 seats up on the balcony overlooking metairie road. The waiter was so very friendly and welcoming. I ordered a cocktail, the melevedere honey drop. It was lovely like a bees knees. It was so much better than when I ordered the very bitter martini espresso the last time I was here. This man knew what he was doing. And I also ordered the bagle and lox. It was opened face you can put as much or as little of the fixings on it. The saints game was on and we won. So our waiter brought us saints shots too. He was very friendly and kind. I highly recommend this place!

Yelp
The service was great! The atmosphere is perfect for brunch or a fun happy hour! Drinks were delicious and food was really tasty!

Yelp
Ate lunch at the roof top and had a very nice experience. The biscuits were shaped more like hush puppies and they were delicious. The Brussels were good but more leaves than the full sprouts. Really enjoyed the cabbage salad with shrimp. The shrimp was not whole pieces but cut down to equal bite size pieces. The cocktails were also well crafted and delicious.. I would come back again. It wanted busy for Good Friday.

Yelp
Stopped for a quick lunch, and it's really nice on the inside. There is a rooftop area that looks chill also. They were advertising $15 bottomless mimosas for Sunday brunch. I ordered the fish tacos and ate it with all of the toppings except the sauce (I'm not a Mayo person). They were still extremely good without the sauce. I also had a couple French fries that were good. I'm planning my return for brunch and those bottomless mimosas.

Yelp
I wanted to love this place but this was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. First of all, let me warn all of you that the menu posted here is not up to date. This place has one of the smallest menus I've ever seen. Half of what is posted here is NOT on the menu. Food: I wish I would have taken a picture of my dish. I ordered the spicy tuna crispy rice. It was disgusting. The rice was HARD... not crispy. I couldn't even bite into it. It was literally sitting in a bowl of watery soy sauce and covered in cilantro. That is not how spicy tuna crispy rice is supposed to be served. The spicy tuna tastes horrible and was not fresh at all. I took one bite. Our server didn't even acknowledge the fact I didn't touch it. The drinks: The 2 that I got (more on that below) are the only reason this place got 2 stars. The drink was good. The service: Horrible. We were there on a Wednesday evening. It was dead. It was myself, my friend, and our 2 daughters. 30-45 minutes into our service, without even asking if we were done or wanted anything else, she brings the check. Literally doesn't even ask if we were ready. Again, they were dead. It was 7:00 pm so not close to closing time. We weren't taking up space. So whatever, we did want another round of drinks but oh well. We stayed a little bit letting our girls talk and enjoy their evening. She passes by THREE more times and looks at the check and never acknowledges that maybe we were not done. Then on the 4th time she comes up and says "did y'all see I left the check?" Ummm what???? No, we didn't notice that you put the check down right in front of us before we were even done and hadn't even been there 45 minutes. This place has so much potential. The view is gorgeous. The drinks were good! So disappointing. They need to decide whether or not they're a bar or restaurant and definitely take the tuna off the menu (along with everything else they took off). Also, they need to update the menu on here bc the 3-4 things I went for are not on the menu anymore.

Yelp
It was my birthday weekend and recently I read an article about new-to-the-area restaurants. Parish Line was on the list and not on a parade route, so I thought I'd give it a try. It was Endymion Saturday. I made a reservation - this place is small, so I highly recommend reservations. Our server was very friendly and we were happy with her service. Here's the lowdown on what we ordered and how we felt about the dishes and cocktails. Melvedere Honey Drop cocktail - very tasty King Cake Martini - loved it! Mexican Street Corn - yummy Wagu Beef Sashimi - lots of tomatoes and bread but hardly any beef. So disappointing. I swear, I couldn't taste the beef at all. The tomato soaked bread was good. But I felt let down due to the lack of beef. Burger - Solid burger, but comes with no side. Lobster Roll - Bland. Way overpriced for so little flavor. That's how it went. We may be back for cocktails and possibly apps, but probably won't order mains.

Yelp
This spot seems to be way more bar than restaurant for their lunch service at least. I found their lunch food selection to be interesting but it was a really small number of options for entrees overall. They do have some daily specials and the Friday special looked to be the BEST by far as it was seared amberjack and I LOVE amberjack! Unfortunately I wasn't here on a Friday so I ordered the sliders instead while my dining companion ordered the fried chicken sandwich. These options didn't include any sides... so my sliders cost more than the chicken sandwich but it seemed the chicken sandwich was the bigger meal. I thought my serving of two sliders were very good sliders while at the same time for the price I didn't think I really got a meal out of the experience so I would classify the experience as more of a dainty snack. My dining companion was also disappointed his chicken sandwich didn't come with a side considering the price. Parish Line Bistro is well noted for their cool rooftop bar which is unique on Metairie Road for now so that does give this spot some extra bonus points for a nifty view you can enjoy here. Overall the dinner menu looks more interesting here but I think this place might be better enjoyed as a bar.

Yelp
Our first time here. We had the fish tacos and burger and brussel sprouts. All were great. We will go back again. Service was very good. The place is casual and very comfortable.
google avatar

Cj R.

Yelp
We were a little iffy about trying this place because of such hit-or-miss reviews, but everyone has different opinions so that isn't usually my main decider, and I wanted to give it a chance. It was a great casual spot for dinner, the service was great, and my lobster roll was delicious. My only qualms were that my boyfriend ordered his burger with no mushrooms and it came with mushrooms anyway, his fries were more cooked than mine were, and the hostess(es) didn't seem to know where to seat us at first and had to ask if we had a reservation after already being seated so they could mark it off on the list. Overall very good! Just a small/expensive menu.

Yelp
So Delicious We sat at the downstairs bar on Friday night, Kat was our server and was so nice and knowledgeable. I had the lobster rolls, so good , brought the steak salad home to Jeff. He loved it. I want to go back and sit upstairs outside.
google avatar

Yelp
UPDATE: after the manager emailed me and said she was going to mail me a gift card.....never recieved anything at all. I do not care to ever go back, but would have been if they would followed through.
google avatar

Danielle K.

Yelp
I am so happy to have tried the first rooftop restaurant in Metairie and on Metairie Road no less. The lobster roll was perfect and they were generous in the portions. The tuna tartare appetizer was delicious with great flavor. I was very impressed and have other specials I want to try like the clam chowder. I really enjoyed the frozen drinks they had on tap and can't wait to return for happy hour. The ambience on the rooftop was classy and the clientele all seemed to be having a good time.

Michaele M.

Yelp
This Resturant is Amazing! The food, the service my list can go on and on! This is my go to Place for relaxation the ambience is just perfect! a quick outing, etc. in my opinion, this restaurant totally gets a 10 star!

Yelp
I finally decided to check out parishlinebistro with a couple of girlfriends on a Friday night . We were seated upstairs with no problem! It was a very cute area. The upstairs actually opens up and you have a view of Metairie road. It was a little chilly that night so we asked them to turn on the heaters and instantly it didn't even feel like we were outside ... until the train passed and we got the Buffalo Conductor shot which was actually pretty good! Such a cute touch! The music and the service upstairs were on point. We honestly weren't that hungry so we opted for drinks and appetizers. The menu seemed a little limited, but in the end we went with the Brussel sprouts and the fries, which were both very good! My friend got the steak salad and it was amazing! Lastly for drinks I ended up with the Paloma, we also had the Moscow mule and the frozen rose which were all good! Overall great atmosphere, great service and very attentive. I can't wait to come back and actually enjoy a meal.

Yelp
Fantastic rooftop bar.. excellent food and the deserts were great. We went for a soft opening private party. Upstairs dining area is outside and there really is nothing like it in Metairie.

Don H.

Yelp
Fantastic dining in a very tastefully decorated setting. Upstairs and downstairs dining. Kate our server was excellent and kept our 10 top table well stocked with drink and appetizers. When dinner was served everyone was please with their selection from the fish, to lobster rolls to chicken breasts, everything was great. This is a fantastic setting for a office getaway dinner or even a smaller private one on one. Throughly enjoyed our almost 3 hour stay.

Nicholas L.

Yelp
Food and service was fantastic. Rooftop vibes were great. Albert was so attentive and personable as a fantastic server

Brittany B.

Yelp
The food, drinks and service was all top tier! My husband and I will definitely be back. If you're looking for a nice date night then this is an option that you wouldn't regret.

Yelp
Went there on a weekday for lunch n drinks. It's Just ok. Nothing to write home about. Overpriced old fashion cocktails. Small and quaint place with ok parking. No music just tvs.

Dominic S.

Yelp
Had a wonderful time and an excellent meal ( lobster roll) and hummus shareable plate. Very accommodating to our requests. Ambiance is exceptional

Bryan B.

Yelp
went for lunch with my parents. ordered the chicken Caesar salad. took the first bite and literally tasted heaven. Must Order This Salad Every Time. :)

Charles E.

Yelp
Amazing service. Food was good. It feels cozy and fancy at the same time. Everyone was super nice.

Yelp
Tried Parish Line for the first time yesterday evening. First impression - lovely upstairs space - over-crowded. Cut out 2 tables and everyone would be more comfortable. I'll keep this short. Smoked salmon app - delicious. Pot of clams - pot if tasteless rubber. Drinks overpriced. Overall, overpriced, overcrowded. Doubt I'll be back.

Robert M.

Yelp
Too many good restaurants in New Orleans not this One . Limited, expensive, pretentious California menu.
google avatar

Walter T.

Yelp
Another bunch of amateurs with stars in their eyes thinking they can make it in the restaurant business. Perhaps they need a few months to get settled, but a few observations/suggestions: 1) More professional front of the house presence 2) Better waitstaff training 3) Food quality preparation and presentation lacking 4) Long waits between courses 5) Bad French fries-the one thing a Bistro needs to get right 6) Inability to serve a rare burger (three times!)-maybe it was the mix of meat and spices-tasted like meatloaf-inedible. When we sent it back the second time, the chef/cook told our server "it's a burger-what do they expect"? 7) Menu overly ambitious-folks come to a Bistro for standard fare-steak frites, mussels, goat cheese salad, onion tart, etc 8) Maybe they are just some amorphous bistro-no theme-the menu has absolutely no cohesion-it is as if the various owners each put two of their favorite dishes on the menu 9) Maybe send everyone to Balthazar to see how it's done Needs a lot of work!

Yelp
Made reservations the week after Thanksgiving for Saturday December 17th. We get to the restaurant order a 2 drinks and notice there is some confusion as we enter and speak to who we assume is the manager and let them know we are here for our reservations and they don't even ask for our names. There is a couple behind us downstairs and the same guy comes to them and let's them know that it may be another 30 minutes for their table and he tells them they overbooked for the night and everything was tight upstairs. The downstairs portion of the restaurant was closing for a "last minute" party for the owner. We literally watched them ask 3 tables to finish up their dinners because they had to make room for the party. Something seemed way off so I go upstairs to let the manager know our names since we weren't asked and see what an eta would be for our table, reservation was for 7:30 and by this time it's 7:50. To my astonishment he tells me they will not be able to fit us in. Did not call us to let us know, no empathy from any of the staff, just we can't get you in on a reservation we made a month prior. Long story short, their are tons of places less than 15 minutes from this establishment that will accommodate you, not going to last long in this restaurant environment treating customers this way, do yourself a favor and stay away. When someone shows you who they are, believe them Edit: Thank you for the update and extending the gift certificate. This was about the principle of the situation and not a handout, appreciate you making it right. Adjusted my rating for the effort.

Patricia R.

Yelp
I was so exited to try this spot, and left utterly disappointed. Firstly, the women who greeted us at the door, was abominable to say the least. No guest wants to feel like an inconvenience upon arrival. When we finally got seated, we sat upstairs and the young man serving us seemed to have just started(or at least I hope so, honestly). Strange and short menu, and yet they were out of everything? In a city renowned for it's food, I'm amazed a restaurant like Parish Line Bistro didn't close within its first week, a miracle truly. We will not be returning.

Yelp
Great food! Great service!!! Definitely plan on going back!!! Rooftop has the best views and the drinks were also delicious!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Very small and I do not care for the menu. We did have a Fri k at the bar, which had small bar stools, which were uncomfortable

Madison M.

Yelp
Awesome location and atmosphere! Terrible food and drinks. You would think that they would provide quality products for their the steep prices. Appetizers and entrees came out ice cold.

Yelp
Went here on a girls night and the food was super delicious! They also have great weeknight specials so be sure you check those out. We went on a Wednesday and it was wine night! We started with the Brussel sprouts, cauliflower and focaccia bread. The Brussel sprouts were crispy and had a nice sauce on it! They also have peanuts or cashews on the dish so be aware if you have a nut allergy. The cauliflower was super good. I loved that they topped it with parm cheese. It comes with a spicy oil sauce that is delicious. The bread was okay, wish it was a little softer but the roasted garlic on top was a nice touch. For mains we had the chicken thighs and the wagyu steak salad and caviar fries. The salad was DELICIOUS!! The steak was cooked perfectly and the balsamic dressing it came with was so yummy. The chicken thighs were also cooked perfectly and the pasta was delicious. Beware, you get several thighs and it's a good portion of pasta, so it can easily be split or a yummy lunch for the next day! The caviar fries were pretty good, expected more but don't know why because the description of the meal is what we were served lol. Overall we had a great meal! The service was pretty slow but the staff are incredibly friendly and our waitress apologized several times for the food taking so long. Can't wait to go back!

Pietro M.

Yelp
Parish line is a great place! The service was a tad bit slow, but we didn't mind. Their specialty drinks are excellent!! One the best lobster rolls in the area!!
google avatar

Kelsey G.

Yelp
Went upstairs to grab a few drinks and enjoy a nice day but waited over 30 minutes without being helped before we left without purchasing anything. Don't recommend unless you have a lot of time to waste.

Nicole M.

Yelp
Cute spot for a Metairie bar. Burger was good, but definitely recommend skipping the cocktails--they were terrible.
google avatar

George M.

Yelp
Great new spot in Metairie! Burger and street corn both AMAZING. Fries were hot n crisp. And the Brussels are incredible. I love the rooftop bar element to this place especially all the nice weather day. Great ambiance, great view And plenty of TVs to watch sports! Service attentive but not stuffy. This is my favorite place in Metairie!
google avatar

S M.

Yelp
The food here is absolutely wonderful. Both, creative and delicious. The staff is attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and fun.

Bridget C.

Yelp
Really disappointed. Great location. The food, drinks and service were lacking. I'm sorry to say that I wont be back.
google avatar

Paul L.

Yelp
The view from the balcony overlooking Metairie Rd is amazing!!! The food and cocktails are spot on and the staff is super nice. Don't delay going to Parish Line Bistro!!!!

Kayla F.

Yelp
Great first time! Everyone was super welcoming and kind. We ate on the rooftop, it was a little windy and they provided us blankets. Great atmosphere and food and drinks! Highly recommend. Make reservations and enjoy! We also got the Brussels sprouts and ice cream sandwich, not pictured but so delicious also! Blood orange coconut margarita was very good!

Alyssa B.

Yelp
After happening upon Parish Line Bistro via Instagram it immediately became a place added to our list of restaurants to try out and we were not disappointed! First, the atmosphere was a nice, chill vibe and along with an esthetically pleasing interior design, I was already instantly thinking.. "oh yes, this is perfect!" Second, the menu, while not overly cluttered with too many options to choose from, (because Lord knows I can be highly indecisive) had just the right mix of choices that could appease anyone at the table. We started with the Focaccia.. warm, fluffy, and tasted like it came straight off the hearth of an 18th century Italian home. Followed by the Fried Chicken Sandwhich that honestly took me right back to Nashville it was so good and the crispy brussel sprouts that had an amazing aioli and balsamic glaze drizzled on top! Finished off with not one but TWO desserts (the brownie topped with espresso icecream and the cookie icecream sandwhich) that ended off the meal just right! We took a little tour up to the second floor to check out the rooftop bar area and it would be the perfect place to host a party for an event! BUT I cannot end this review without lastly saying what really stood out to me about this place was the warm and welcoming environment created by the incredible staff! Our waiter, Albert, was fantastic! He was so friendly, accommodating, and gave great recommendations! I would recommend checking this place out if you haven't yet!

Yelp
If you have not been to Parish Line Bistro please go! Long over due for a place like this in Old Metairie! We had a great time! The food was delicious - the street corn is a must try! The service was friendly and on point! We sat outside upstairs and had champagne under the stars! Do yourself a favor and check this place out!

T. Michael O.

Yelp
I will be returning for more rooftop dining! We had the clams and tuna ceviche with a bottle of champagne - delicious pairing if I may say so. Oh! And the corn - sweet leaping baby Jesus - the corn alone makes me want to go back once a week it was so good! Finished the night with a burger, which was solid. I heard the lobster roll was fantastic, but we got there a little later in the evening and it was no longer available. I'm sure they're still just getting settled in and finding their groove, so I'm looking forward to trying that when I return. Ambience was that of an upscale craft cocktail lounge, something I feel that Metairie was sorely lacking. We didn't have any cocktails, but I will revisit those on my next visit. All in all : great food, solid wine and cocktail list, and a wonderful environment in a very convenient location. Stop reading these reviews and just go check out the place for yourself already!

Leland C.

Yelp
Grossly overpriced mediocre food and drinks. I ordered the $18 dollar burger that was over cooked and did not come with a side. My wife ordered the lobster roll, which the menu claims to be from a 1-1/2 lobster. She only got 8-9 pieces of claw meat on 6" piece of bread, but for $38 dollars get got a side of fries. The service was very slow and we had to ask for a couple of things twice. Now the ambiance was very nice. Hopefully, the person who buys the restaurant out of bankruptcy will do a better job with food and drinks. There are too many places on Metairie road to get a good reasonably priced meal for this place to survive.

Allie A.

Yelp
This was the worst experience I ever had at a restaurant establishment. My husband ordered a ranch water and the waitress asked what kind of tequila and suggested Don Julio. We got the bill and it was $50 for a ranch water. The waitress failed to tell us the Don Julio was 1942 for $50 a shot. Who puts 1942 tequila in a ranch water??? I felt like they raped us!!! I am never going back to such a place! Oh and they didn't even have the sports Channel to watch the Pelicans game. We had to watch the replay of the Masters. My guess, this place will be out of business by the end of the year unless they make some serious changes. Also, We live in the neighborhood and expected to pay top dollar, but this was insane!! I was a fool to give this place a second chance. NEVER AGAIN!!!! Please don't waste your money!!!

One Old Fashioned cocktail was 16$......The Mexican street corn had promise, but the corn was either frozen or so overcooked it was leathery and did not have any fresh or sweet corn flavor at all...had the corn been good, it would have been great. The lobster roll was puny although described as as 1lb lobster which makes it sound like a plentiful...but it isnt..the taste was ok but in general disappointing... for $38...The Caesar salad was delicious, and I added chicken which was good, but not good enough to double the price $24......the restaurant is small wedge shaped and the tables are crowded.I was with a 96 yr old with a walker, and i looked around after we were seated and cant figure out how we would be able to get out if there was an emergency. It is impossible that this place would pass a fire inspection code. The table where we were seated was up against a door which might be an exit but was locked and blocked by our table. I was so disappointed because I read a very nice review of the place, and live in the neighborhood, and love to support local business. The waiter was nice but not very knowledgeable about the food or cocktails.Overpriced...has potential...but change is imperative for survival .

Yelp
My friends and I had a reservation made a week in advance for tonight (11/23) and after receiving confirmation emails and texts, they told us our reservation didn't exist an hour before our reservation. None of the staff was empathetic or accommodating at all. It was very unprofessional and they ruined our night that we were looking forward too!!!

Yelp
The service is awful. You wait and wait to be seated (no hostess at the entrance--took 10 minutes to be seated). Then, you wait 30 minutes for a waitress to take your drink order (they were also out of wine on the menu). Then, you wait at least an hour to an hour and a half for some staff member to come back and ask about the bill. Food is mediocre. (And this was all on a night that was not crowded.) Cool concept overall, but don't expect much...(On a different evening, the hostess literally yelled at us across the restaurant that the upstairs was closed, which wasn't clearly marked at all. All she had to do was say it politely....) I'm not throwing money at this place any more.

Yelp
We got the smoked salmon and Cajun caviar French fries to start. The smoked salmon appetizer was soooooo good!! Highly recommend! I will not be ordering the Cajun caviar French fries again. They were not that good. The dipping "sauce" was very thick. I would not call it a sauce. The burger for main entree was pretty good. The sauce that came with it was really delicious. I got the coconut blood orange margarita for a cocktail. It was different. I don't think I would order again but it's worth a try if you go for your first time. My husband got the espresso martini for a desert cocktail. It comes with tequila instead of vodka which was interesting. Our waitress warned him about that before he ordered so that was a good heads up. If you like tequila and coffee, 100% recommend ordering! I got an Irish coffee which was very strong! I love my Irish coffees strong so it was perfect for me! I don't have a single complaint about the service! Our waitress was great. The restaurant was packed and very loud but we are young and don't mind loud restaurants. It's more of a group/laid back kind of place. Wouldn't go for a romantic date! Overall great food, great service, great atmosphere! We will be back!
